Fantastic experience: highly recommend the course. all the staff were extremely helpful to all new riders in the class, was a ton of fun and the instructors were very knowledgeable and understanding. As a new rider I strongly believe the course is a must. They'll teach you everything you have to know about riding and help you become the safest rider on the road. The class will definitely help you become more confident on two wheels and leaves no room for error or guessing. Don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have to the instructors and youll walk away with all the knowledge you need to know!

Fantastic experience: I came to Pioneer Valley Rider Training with the intentions of learning how to ride a motorcycle and I ended up getting that AND more. The staff was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. The class was the perfect pase and allowed me to go from never touching a road bike to being confident in a variety of different scenarios and skills. I'll definitely be thinking about coming out here with my own motorcycle to learn the more advanced techniques. It was a pleasure riding with you all.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for the ime and the brc, the ime is very helpful to take before if you have little to no riding experience. The instructors are very helpful and good teachers don’t be afraid to ask questions the test is very passable I’d recommend signing up if your thinking about it

Fantastic experience: I just recently passed my basic rider course through these guys. Al and Matt are phenomenal instructors and gave me everything I needed to learn to ride confidently. Not only were the instructors great teachers, but also friendly faces as well, joking and encouraging you to do your best so you can pass and get into the world of motorcycling. They truly value safety, sometimes going to give tips on what you should be doing in the real world, even encouraging my class to go and practice everything we learned in a parking lot, letting us know that while we may have passed there is still a ways to go. They care about you and your safety as well as having fun on a motorcycle. If you even think you may want to ride, come here and see what you think.

Fantastic experience: My husband and son recently attended the Motorcycle Rider Course. We thought this was incredibly important as new riders. Both Al and Matt were fantastic instructors. They spent a lot of time with you to make sure you understood the concepts and master them. They teach you motorcycle safety, which is incredibly important on the road. Al’s years of experience make this course invaluable. He spends one on one time helping you perfect skills and sharing his years of knowledge. Thank you both for helping to keep my new rider (son) and husband safe on the road. They were both extremely happy after completing the course and learned a lot!

Fantastic experience: With about 20 years of riding experience under my belt, I decided to stop playing the permit game and went to this coarse to obtain my license. This had to be one of the best motorcycle teaching experiences I have witnessed. The curriculum was spot on, the coaches are very knowledgeable in not only their teachings, but their riding experiences as well! Thanks to the entire team, y’all are doing a fantastic job!

Fantastic experience: My course appointment was made two weeks in advance which was the quickest I could get my license. I drove an hour away to get here and it was well worth it. Al and Kyle genuinely care that new riders are learning skills to keep them safe, great teachers and the class went over smooth. Just remember to laugh at their jokes and you’ll have a better chance at passing. My only complaint would be to split the groups into most experienced and least experienced riders so you don’t have any frustration between slower and faster students Overall great experience, I took the BRC, two 5 hour sessions over the weekend and got my license.

Fantastic experience: I was a total beginner and needed this. If you were like me and are just starting out with no experience please take it from me don’t just sign up for the 2 day but also sign up for the intro 2 hour course. I leaned the hard way that sometimes you need to take a step back before taking that leap. It was worth it. I had amazing instructors who really want you to do well. You will learn if this is for you or not. The instructors will be very patient and go the extra mile by giving suggestions that may work for you. They take the time really noticing where you need to make corrections. Thank you Al and John for the wonderful experience thank you for your patience and your guidance. Also a shout out to Cindy who is your gatekeeper at the other end of the phone. She too was a motivator that I needed in explaining the physical, academics and mental status needed. You are a phenomenal team. I have already recommended them to friends and when my daughter is ready I will be sending her to them.

Fantastic experience: I just completed the Basic Rider Course at Pioneer Valley Rider Training in Westfield, MA today. It was an excellent experience. The online knowledge training was very informative and easy to navigate through. The riding skills instructors (Andrea, John and Al) were very professional and patient. Our class consisted of people with varying degrees of experience, ranging from people who’d never operated a motorcycle before, to others who had multiple years of riding experience. I’ve had a few years and thousands of miles worth of riding experience, and still learned a lot more than I expected…as well as realizing certain skill areas I really need to continue to practice and improve on. I encourage anyone who’s never taken a Basic Rider Course to do so, regardless of your experience level. You don’t know what you don’t know, until you know.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended their motorcycle basic riding course, and really enjoyed it. I went into the class lacking the necessary confidence to safely drive a motorcycle out on the busy streets. After the two day course, I felt I had obtained the knowledge, experience and confident to hop on my bike. I can't say enough great things about Coach Darius. He was professional, knowledgeable, serious, but also a great sense of humor. I would reccomend this class to anyone who feels hesitant about their abilities to ride.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at the Pioneer Valley Rider Training basic rider course. It is a bit pricey, but I wanted to learn how to ride the correct way rather than instilling bad habits if I were to ride on my own. As someone who had never ridden a motorcycle prior to yesterday (I'm writing this review the day of my last class), I feel very confident that I am able to ride within my limits and assess risks when riding a motorcycle. Something the instructors reinforce heavily is riding within your own limits. They don't expect everyone to be the same skill level or go the same speeds, they just want everyone to have fun learning proper techniques for motorcycling, and to recognize their own abilities and ride within them. I had a fantastic experience with the rider coaches. John, Chris, and Andrea were fantastic on the first day. It was raining/sleeting and freezing, but they made sure everyone was doing alright and operating safely. On the second day, we had Rick and Kyle for the first part. Both were exceedingly helpful and instructive, and it never felt like they were telling you that you did something wrong. It felt more like they were giving you tips personalized for you, as they were watching intently to see if something you were doing could be causing an issue. Kyle left partway through the day, and the coaches were Rick and Andrea. All of the coaches were absolutely fantastic, but Rick and Andrea helped me so immensely. Twice during skills practice I felt like I just didn't have the capability to perform the tasks given to me. They took me aside both times and reassured me that they know I can perform the skills, as they had seen me do them before. They told me to take a deep breath, relax, and try not to overthink it. With their encouragement, I was able to not only pass the skills evaluation, but to do so with a perfect score. Andrea even went so far as to make soup for everyone on both days. Thank you Rick and Andrea. I would absolutely recommend taking the basic rider course with PV Riders, whether you are just learning how to ride, or are coming back as someone who has not ridden in a long time. The knowledgeable and friendly staff will always gives you encouragement when you're doing something right and tips when you may need a little help.

Fantastic experience: Never had riden a motorcycle before, took this coarse and it was the best thing I ever did. Teachers were awesome, very encouraging, they had patience. Everyone in the class was so nice. And I passed. I definitely recommend it.

Negative experience: Great folks great training. Would highly recommend Except the last day my wife was run into by a student on her personal Spyder. The instructor was rushing everyone along to leave early One of the other students after being rushed on by the instructor couldn't stop in time and hit the back of my wife's spyder. That was the beginning of one of the worst ordeals I've ever had to deal with. They guarantee me no problem they take care of the claim when it came time after we filled the report out they said we signed a disclosure and nothing was their fault. I was ready to go to small claims court to get the $1,200 with the damages I finally ended up contacting our insurance company and I had to subrogate through my insurance cuz they weren't doing their job. Not only are these people incompetent liars but when I get a chance I'm going to get a hold of bombardier and have them investigate the incident I didn't get my certificate cuz I was so mad at him I walked off and I haven't seen any of my money back yet but I'm sure they build bombardier the full $800 price for the course. Stay away.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the overall experience with PVRiders. Scheduling the class was very easy and the office was very accommodating to my scheduling needs and helpful with the questions I had leading up to the class. Zoom class was a good start, extremely informative and well presented by the instructors. This helped prepare for the actual riding. It was very clear what to expect for the riding portion and what to bring for the training days. The actual on-motorcycle training was a lot of fun; step by step instructions, each exercise built on what was learned in the previous one and it was paced well. The instructors were professional and knowledgeable. The tips that they gave during the riding portions helped keep the focus on what we were learning in each exercise. There was valuable information given throughout the whole course and I feel much better prepared to be on the road. Great information, great instructors, I would highly recommend this class and school to anyone looking to get a motorcycle license.

Negative experience: Almost missed the online class because they did not document my information correctly. Then I wasn't added to the attendance for the riding portion of the course, the instructor was not aware the students were told to come for 9:10am for a 9:30 start time and was yelling at people for being late when they were right on time. An instructor by the name of Tilt is horrible at teaching and has no professionalism. I learned nothing from him and because of his poor ability to teach I failed the evaluation portion of this course. Then he felt the need to announce to the entire group that I failed! How humiliating and embarrassing. Huge waste of my time and money!

Fantastic experience: I finally made the decision to get my motorcycle license. Pioneer Valley Rider Training was the closest place for me so I made the call. Cindy was amazing. Understood I had never ridden before other than as a passenger. She was very encouraging and got me signed up. With all the restrictions of Covid-19 classes were done on line in Zoom. John was great. He encouraged participation by all the class members and both days went without any problems. All questions asked were answered is a manner that was easily understandable. Today was drive day. And even though I was nervous Rick and his partner Darious were AWESOME! As a woman with no riding experience, they were very encouraging and took the time to make sure I and everyone else in the class were comfortable with what we had learned. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's class to learn even more. Thanks so much for being so amazing at your jobs. If I could give 10 stars I would!
