Fantastic experience: Great experience for my son getting his permit & DL. Communication was excellent, and reminders were helpful. Easy to schedule and the ability to take the driver's test with them directly was GREAT. The whole process was easy. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I’ve had mostly positive experiences here, especially with the driving lessons — the instructors were helpful and professional. However, I’ve had serious concerns regarding the driving test portion, specifically with one examiner who I had both times I tested. The first time I took the test, I was nervous but ready. Unfortunately, the examiner didn’t give clear directions on where to turn. Instead, he suddenly grabbed the steering wheel and turned it himself without warning, which startled me and caused me to accidentally press the gas. It really shook my confidence and made me feel unsafe. The second time, I came back more prepared and made sure to ask for clear instructions. Things started off well, but again, he grabbed the wheel — this time because I didn’t change lanes fast enough for him. I was being cautious, checking my blind spot and watching traffic to make a safe move, but before I could finish, he grabbed the wheel and pressed the gas himself. That made me feel like I wasn’t being given a fair chance to demonstrate my driving safely and on my own. When I tried to share my concerns, I was told, “That’s what they’re supposed to do in dangerous situations.” But both times, I felt like the instructor’s actions created more danger and anxiety, not less. I don’t feel comfortable returning for another test with that examiner. The instructors who give the lessons are great, but unfortunately, my experience with this particular test examiner was so negative that I won’t be coming back.

Fantastic experience: My oldest son just passed his driving license exam. The process was so simple. They picked him up at home and took him for his driving courses and driving training. They even got his permit. I didn’t have to lift a finger other than allowing him to drive for the time in between the lessons and the time he received his license! I have six kids and my next son is up next year! We will definitely be using Greenlight for him as well.

Fantastic experience: Hello! I'm directionally challenged and the people here were so lovely and patient. You're heroes. Thank you so much for answering my questions and teaching me both by words, examples, and visuals so I can understand and not panic. You're especially heroes for people like me looking to gain independence and leave their abusive homes. The experience helped me more than I can convey,I can't thank you all enough. Thank you all, and thank you Mr. Knox. =) PS, I think SMOG is an awesome acronym- I think for some people like me it may help to add an extra S at the beginning, SSMOG, for "Shift gear!" Thank you again so much. You're superheroes like Superman more than you know. For anyone reading- I absolutely recommend learning here. It's affordable (for us at least, $50 was what I paid and seems to be the average minimum for driving lessons anywhere)- Especially if you have nobody else who won't teach you- or they yell at you while doing so. Fantastic experience: Seriously the BEST place to take your drive test. We opted for the mock test before the official drive test. That put my very anxious teens nerves to rest. Literally everyone up there was SO nice and helpful. I cannot believe how easy the whole process was. I'm going to recommend everyone i know use them. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Took the driver’s ed course here earlier this week and have to say it prepared me incredibly well to take my written test for my learner’s permit as well as actual driving on the road. 10/10, would give more stars if possible. Negative experience: What a joke. They fail a lot of people so they can Tell them they need to take the class and the driving school again. So they can make more money. My son has been driving around for over 6 months EVERYDAY and flunked him. I called the lady and asked them how many people flunk their first time. And she says a lot. have to make that $ some how.

Fantastic experience: My daughter did the chauffeur packages she is an introvert and has never driven before.. she had the most amazing time and loved the teachers they made her feel so confident and safe the entire time!! And to mention the convenience this package offers is absolutely amazing I have to do nothing I don’t have to plan around any of it pick up and drop of to all classes and dmv!! She is so excited to see them again in 6 months to get her license! Thank you green light driving school! You all are beyond amazing!

Negative experience: I was driving down 71st street today and almost got side swiped by this company. They did not pay attention at all when trying to merge into a different lane that I happened to be occupying right next to them. They almost hit me and did not care. I would not trust anyone I know to be taught how to drive by them because obviously they don’t know how to drive themselves. It was not a student driving the car. It was an adult by themselves.

He was kind, patient, professional, funny, but most of all he makes you feel confident behind the wheel. He's almost like "your dad or your best friend" showing you how to drive. I recommend Green Light Driving School to my friends and family. Keep up the good work, guys!!

He was worried, but after the first day he was confident and comfortable with the entire team. I tell everyone about Green Light. My niece used them and so many more people I know who used them and all were so pleased!! They were more than willing to help me with my son’s schedule and events! Every time I need anything a very pleasant and helpful lady did whatever she could with so much kindness, patience, and care. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name. It is the same lady tho! Fantastic experience: My kiddo came here for a driving lesson after taking 2 road tests at an other driving school in Tulsa. After his 2 horrible experiences elsewhere he lost confidence in driving and really didn’t want to drive anymore. Chris provided a 2 hour lesson and my son’s confidence returned. Chris was awesome! Chris also rode with him on the pretest and he was patient and provided great advice. Mr. Mitchell was the tester and my son made a 99% on his road test! I couldn’t ask for better instructors. My son had a great experience and I recommend going here first before trying anywhere else. Wonderful place!!

Negative experience: The driver treated my friend HORRIBLY. Was over an hour late and was racist to a beautiful lady just trying to get her driver’s license. Refused to return our calls. Shame on you all. If you’re anything other than white, go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I wish I would have found Green Light sooner! My daughter did her driver test there. She tends to be pretty anxious, but Jason was great which helped her tremendously. If I had my do overs I would have had her go through their whole program. Thanks so much Green Light!

Fantastic experience: My 15 year old daughter just finished her 10 hour classroom course and six hours of driving - Green Light was incredible the entire time. From making the appointments and other arrangements, to the classroom (informative, engaging, and funny) to the driving (patient, patient, patient). All elements and aspects beat my expectations. If your teen needs driving lessons, come here. The classroom teacher was informative, with just enough humor to keep the students paying attention. My daughter learned a lot, and taught me things I didn't know or had forgotten. She never felt bored, and really enjoyed the experience. Pizza for lunch is just a nice add-on. Jason, the driving coach, was super-patient, picking up Anna from our home, and coaching her through the ins and outs of driving - far more than she'll need for the driving test. The entire team was informative, hard-working, respectful, and pro-Anna. And given that COVID is still an issue, I was impressed with their protocols, esp during the driving, when Jason wiped the contacts part of the car and wore a mask. Most students weren't masked, but they were fairly distanced. Anna wore a mask, and felt supported in this. Bottom line: I'm very happy we went with Green Light. They are hard-working and I wish them every success.

The recommendations and communication from them was super helpful, with tips and instructions about the permit process at the Department of Public Safety. We have recommended all of our friends with similar aged kids to use them.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this driving school to anyone! I have to leave Tulsa by a certain date and Mr Jason worked with me to schedule classes on dates that works for me. The school is always available to help and answer any concerns. They send email reminders and have everything organized very professionally. I have finished my second driving lesson and I feel very comfortable with being behind the wheel. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Jason does a fantastic job educating new teen drivers and providing them with the necessary confidence needed to navigate our crazy streets - as a father, I will sleep better knowing that my daughter has completed this exceptional driving school program. However, I probably will still ask her to wear a nascar helmet when driving to the store.
