Fantastic experience: I just finished my 20 hours class, at chrysalis. I was super nervous at first, wondering if I would be judged or have a Councler that was not friendly or fair. What a surprise when not only was she kind, caring and compassionate but she was so relatable. It made the course go by that much better. It felt good to be able to relate with someone and not feel judged or have someone who felt better than us. I truly do recommend using this course if you are looking for a treatment place. A good listener and caring and compassionate person is definitely a big plus. I normally never leave reviews but felt compelled to, that’s how wonderful everyone was that I have interacted with. Especially the director.

Fantastic experience: This was an exceptional experience. I never felt like the program was just something I had to do to get my license back; though technically that is the case. I really received a great deal out of these classes and actually looked forward to it on a regular basis. Sarah is a phenomenal instructor. Very well versed on the subject matter. Kind, compassionate and empathetic and offered many good insights. The whole team was awesome as far as I was concerned. No judgement at all. Merely there to help as best as they could. Honestly, I miss our meetings. I would not hesitate in recommending Chrysalis and their program; whether you are required to take it or not.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely great experience with what I needed. The help is very respectful as well as receptive. They were always ready to help with anything I needed without any hesitation or judgment. Easy to talk to and available when needed. Counselor made sure to let people know she could stay later and answer any questions that needed to be addressed. Also, being able to Zoom is a huge plus side, for anyone who doesn't have the means to drive. I have the utmost respect for this team.

Fantastic experience: This was a positive experience and very educational and I would highly recommend going through chrysalis recovery center if you have to take the IDCMP class to get you license back the classes were awesome and I was expecting them to be horrible and Sarah the director was my teacher and she's genuine to all her students

Negative experience: Sadly Chrysalis is not a safe place because of who they choose to employ. They have at least one unsafe therapist and refused to take action after the owner was notified.

Negative experience: When I was about half way through my counseling sessions here I was "suspended indefinitely" from the program until I paid $1300 dollars for a made up fee. Towards the end of my time here there was somehow always one more session than there was actually supposed to be they got me for 6 extra classes with that trick. This was about a year before they were in court because they got caught stealing from 4 other people. I never said anything because I had been 7 years with out my license and I just really wanted my license back. My friend Christina also got ripped off more than $1000 and she never reported either. It would be pretty cool to see all 6 people (maybe more) warning potential clients in here. I can't believe this place is even still open

Fantastic experience: Yes!!! Crysalis represents a new start, new beginnings, a life changing course. The class provokes thought, which intrinsically makes you change the way you look through your lens. This class isn’t boring for we learned that boredom is the absence of having gratitude in the moment!!!

Fantastic experience: I was a little hesitant when i first started this process because i was ashamed of what happened 11 years ago but everyone at the facility has been super nice and there is absolutely no judgement from anyone and they are all very helpful and very nice. Fantastic experience: Before attending the class through chrysalis, I was super anxious and nervous, however, every single person that has helped me through Chrysalis, from the intake to the class, to the counseling sessions, everyone has been extremely helpful and nice! I had a great group of people in my class and my instructor (Elijah) did an amazing job! I found the class to be informative and impactful, as I'm still thinking about a lot of the stuff we learned. I think a lot of the class will stick with me, it's helped me open my eyes and expand the way I think. To be honest, the whole counceling part, i wasnt looking forward to, as Ive done counceling a lot of my life, and it just can be a lot, opening up to someone you dont know, and having to go back and talk about stuff i try to forget, can be hard. However, Brian has made me feel comfortable, and now, something i was so nervous about, i find myself not being able to stop talking (lol). I have absolutely no complaints. HUGE thank you to everyone over at Chrysalis!!

I would not have completed all the tasks gathering the document with out Healy help. My experience with all of her associate have been better than I had expedited. no one gave me a hard time or had any signs of disrespecting me for my faults. thank you everyone.

Negative experience: SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!..beware of this place; my fiancee received a dui in 2019 in another state and was required to do OASIS certified outpatient counseling and a 20 hr approved IDCMP...she completed her outpatient successfully but the 20hr class was not being offered due to covid..she was assured by Chrysalis repeatedly that she could do their online IDCMP and it would fulfill her requirement..she did the class;.upon completion they refused to send our state's dmv the necessary form, telling her if she wanted proof of completion she would have to do an additional year of counseling from them(they did not care that she had already satisfied her state's requirement)...so far we have incurred over $1000.00 in various costs with them for basically nothing. They continue to hold her proof of completion hostage for more fees, and delay her restoration. We have been outright lied to, manipulated, and misled .Having been formally trained in the recovery field, it is my opinion that these people are not at all interested in helping someone but rather only want to generate fees for themselves. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS..........since I am not technologically proficient enough to reply to the anonymous response from the owner separately, I will do so here; I whole-heartedly stand by my original review as it is based on my direct experiences and interactions with Chrysalis; I have text messages from two staff members, bank records from both mine and her bank accounts, my own ;personal conversations with Chrysalis, as well as eyewitnesses to what transpired between them in support thereof..my fiance has done everything that is required by her state for restoration..it is Chrysalis who has not done what they have repeatedly promised to do, and who continues to say one thing while doing another, thus holding up her restoration in hopes of further financial gain.

Negative experience: BEWARE of this place!!!!!! I took the IDCMP 20 hr course from out of state and was promised it would be good to satisfy my requirement to get my license back . I paid a intake fee of $157.00 and $495.00 for the course . When I asked for my completion to be sent to my state i live in ,I was told I needed to complete there counseling .( did 1 and 1/2 years in my state already )But they said I needed to do there evaluation for $200.00 and them courses through them and that my counseling did not count . SO I wasted my time and money and was completely mislead and it was a waste of my time and money. DONT SIGN UP if your out of state its useless!!!!!!

Negative experience: It was great while there but since leaving and trying to get my records it's been nightmare I've been asking and asking for my records and no one will give them to me.

Negative experience: All these people care about is money. 1/10 dont go here unless left with no other options.

Fantastic experience: Asking for help has never been easy. Life under the easiest of circumstances is trying at best. When you add substance issues to the mix it can seem darker and more unimaginable than one can handle. Fortunately, one does not need to go it alone. Before I walked into Chrysalis for the first time I thought it was going to be like joining the Marines! "I beat myself up just fine without any help," I told myself. But when I got through the door I had to chuckle to myself. "The Marines have changed," I thought as I looked at the butterfly murals on the walls. As I stood there, though, I found myself starting to feel better. This is a place of healing. A glimmer of hope came over me. Nothing like a flashing white light and an epiphany solving all my problems. A glimmer of hope. And the people at Chrysalis are second to none! I was made to feel comfortable and unworried. There were lots of easygoing, smiling faces. Concerned, but pleasant. The staff were certainly knowledgeable and aware. I was honest during my evaluation as I knew they would be able to help me better knowing the truth about what was happening with me. If I tried to minimize my issues I'd just be hurting myself. And I'm sure they would see right through any embellishment and I would know they knew and I'd feel like a nincompoop which would not help matters lol. I'm glad I was truthful. The Chrysalis staff are decent, special people. They are on my side and they'll be on your side, too. Let them help you like they helped me and turn a glimmer of hope into a serenity filled life! You will be happy you did.

I was always treated with the utmost respect and kindness. I am so very grateful that I walked this journey with them. Big thank you to all of you!

Fantastic experience: I just finished the program. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It started off rocky with a misunderstanding but after talking it through I felt a lot better and realized it was just a misunderstanding. At the main office everyone was incredible. They answered all questions, very friendly, and even gave a jump start when I needed it. Then I went to the weekend course. Jenn was a amazing teacher and her teaching style of keeping you active made it go by fast and the best part is...i learned a lot of valuable information. The rooms are good and I expected worse for the price you pay. They included meals and had a fully stocked kitchen. Kyle made excellent meals and kept allergies in mind and also a good selection in case someone did not like the food. He also went on to tell us what to expect after completing the program. He was very knowledgeable/helpful and answered everyone's questions. The last day Jenn made us scrambled eggs for breakfast that was really good. I would recommend this program to anyone that needs to take it. While providing important information they also presented it in a way that was fun!
