Negative experience: I went here 2 years ago and the experience still haunts me. Front desk lady was INCREDIBLY ill mannered and unwelcoming. That wasn’t it, though. The teacher, Ray, went on very uncomfortable tangents about political agenda that had nothing to do with driving. He would tell Bible stories while students drove and would bring up presidential candidates for no reason. He made a racist remark about Native Americans (which he of course referred to as Indians). Everything that came out of that man’s mouth was weird and uncomfortable. On my first day driving, one of the older male employees got visibly mad at me when I told him I’d never been on the road before. FIRST DAY DRIVING! The price was outrageous, everything was handled poorly, and I never felt comfortable around the front desk or the teacher. He very clearly is only there to spread a harmful agenda. The staff is lousy, the instructions are rude, racism and uncomfortable bigotry is rampant in the lessons. Never, ever, EVER go here!! My mom signed my younger siblings up for some other business because of how poorly this one performed. Please save yourself time, money, and peace of mind.

Fantastic experience: Passed my test! Simple when they teach well. Mr. C, Mr. Ray and all the teachers there are the best, they give good advice and let me know right away what I did right or wrong! All my siblings attended and they all passed as well. This is the superior driving school. Jolly Swell Recommend!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend coming to ccds, the workers are great especially Flo and Mr C, the process of me getting my license was smooth as well, the driving instructors are really nice and help out a lot, over all it’s a great place to go to when wanting your license and wanting to learn how to drive.

Negative experience: Do NOT take your kids here. The absolute worst place. So much misinformation and charging for stupid things after already paying $400 for the class. Rude person in the front asking personal questions and having no idea how to answer my questions. My child didn't get certain papers now charging $40 for a paper that we should have had already. They're telling us we need certain papers for the DMV went to the DMV and they said they were wrong and told us what we actually needed. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Take your child somewhere else, this lady is rude, and can’t remember what she tells you . Won’t answer the phone and overall bad service

Fantastic experience: A fantastic place to learn. Staff here very friendly and full of wisdom. I would strongly recommend any prospective driver learners to consider obtaining their driver licenses through here. I must mention the instructor Mr.C (Carrion). What a man! Definitely Mr. C will make you the perfect driver.

Negative experience: First off go spend your money elsewhere the staff consists of 4 elderly people who are very unprofessional and rude and have messed up my schedule multiple times and my driving hours as well The man who teaches the class always talks but doesn’t speak he’s either discussing an off topic situation or bragging about himself YES BRAGGING to the whole class for a month either about something he saw or did or what his wife saw or did please don’t take your child here

Fantastic experience: Super awesome customer service! My daughter went to classes and took the test with them. Very flexible with my child's schedule for hours.

Negative experience: the male teacher is very strange and inappropriate. he spent the majority of the class talking about random things instead of teaching. He also non stopped bragged about himself.

Positive experience: Dated building. Renovations are needed. Friendly staff and quick service. Variety of class schedules.

Negative experience: place is mid. Front desk lady said I was a special needs child when I clearly wasn't. I haven't done business with them for a while but that memory still hurts me.

Negative experience: This place is absolutely horrible!!! By no means don’t waste your money. There is one lady that handles everything you ask to speak to mangers or owners and you get the run around. I paid 400 dollars for my son to take the classes online. They sent no material just pictures of test that weren’t properly place they were sent upside etc. I reached out to her several times about the situation she said she’ll get back to me about it felt like I was calling every week she told me she’ll talk to the computer people that send the assignments. I told her there’s no lesson here how is my son going to know how to answer these question to turn in the test with no material to learn. That’s the whole point of placing my son in driving school and paying 400 so he can learn. So after so much weeks and months past and getting nothing but the run around. I told her I was sorry and I just don’t think online classes were for my son he needed face to face, but unfortunately it was impossible to take him with my work schedule and his. I asked for a refund and she told me they weren’t going to refunded me. I stated how I paid for services and services weren’t provided and they basically took my money. I never signed no contract & there was no policy on no refunds. She finally agreed to refund me half and that was the best she can do this was on a Monday she said I’ll have a check in the mail. Two weeks passed I called and well guess what no refunded not even half they took my money I’m a single mom busting my butt for my children and they take my money with no services they are a ripped off. Do NOT GO HERE!!!

Fantastic experience: Great instructions given, it wasn’t difficult to learn driving at all. The people there made it simple and easy. I enjoyed learning with them.

Fantastic experience: How can i describe CCDS, i went in knowing nothing, Zero clue on driving and knowing the rules i called and Flo answered she step by step guided me on what to do and what i need to start practicing and start driving, Step By Step she was guiding me the way and everytime i call she always answers my questions and worry, and Mr.C is excellent at teaching me the ropes behind the wheel even if i hesitate and make wide turns he tells me what i need to work on during our drive and end up practicing and working on those key points so i can pass the test. All in all if your an adult like me and know nothing at all ZERO experience behind the wheel i recommend going to this school they will teach and guide you to be a Better, Safer Driver out there. I just passed my test today on the first try Thanks to Mr.C and i really owe them this experience, Thank you CCDS

Fantastic experience: My brother and I did driving school here and had a very good experience. They are very nice and tell you exactly what to expect and they take care of everything including the final driving test which is very helpful and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: A big shout out to CCDSmy two children went to that driving school and the instructors are so nice and helpful. Classes are great. They both like driving with Mr. Carrion, they felt so comfortable with him such a sweet man. They both passed the driving test. The front desk person explained everything to me just the way DPS wants their paperwork. They make sure you don’t forget to take all your required information.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took Drivers Ed classes with them and she enjoyed her classes with the instructor. She said it was very informative and well conducted. She enjoyed driving with Mr. C, because he would correct her mistakes and that is how she learned. I would recommend this school to everyone. The lady in front gives you all the right information so you won’t have to be back and forth from DPS.

Negative experience: Just no. This was supposed to be something that we wanted to take care of over summer since my child is out of school and my husband and I have the time to teach her. But according to rude front desk lady “she has until she turns 16 to complete this.” Meaning complete the driving hours with the school. Yes, I am fully aware of that except when actual school is in session it is hard to schedule outside activities. Why would we drag this out any longer than need be?? And why are you telling me how to run my schedule. This can be completed over the summer WITH THEM. And we can work on the “at home” hours on the weekend. The “4week” program is for classroom hours only. Why are they always backed up with student drivers? Because they choose to not appropriately schedule driving times. Not to mention the creep vibes my daughter came home with from the classroom instructor calling kids “honey” or “baby” or the random inappropriate conversations taking place in the classroom.

Negative experience: Lady at the desk is extremely rude and will try to put you down and charge extra if you miss hours, can’t stress enough how entitled and rude the lady is she needs to be fired immediately…

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 children go through this driving school and have had a very positive experience. They are professional and tell you exactly what to expect, and they take care of everything including the final driving test. Everything is clear and concise. I appreciate the thoroughness of directions and what is expected. They do a great job! I highly recommend. I have 2 more children that will go through this driving school as well. Thank you for your dedication to produce safe drivers. We appreciate you!

Fantastic experience: I was providing transportation to, and from classes for an adult driver seeking his license for the first time. We started out at another driving school. With only one lesson left I needed to find another driving school, as the instructor was no longer available to continue. Ms. Florinda at Corpus Christi Driving school gave us an appointment right away with Mr. C. Then she set us up with an appointment for his driving test, making sure we had all our paperwork, and training complete. He passed his test. Then she had to help us out when we went to get his license, because there was so much confusion at the Drivers License Mega Center pertaining to the two schools he had attended. She had me speak to the supervisor Julie to speed the process along. Florinda called Julie herself, and followed up with a call to me to make sure everything turned out well. I would highly recommend Corpus Christi Driving School. Go see Ms Florinda, she'll get you pointed in the right direction. M. Doucette

The in-class instructor was very good and made it easy to understand the info that we went over in class and Mr. C (the driving instructor) was super helpful and kind while driving! Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Corpus Christi Driving School! I brought my son here and Mr. Carrion was his instructor. He is very knowledgeable and patient with his students. He even gave him his driving test which was a plus since he was familiar with him. Very pleased with this driving school!!

Fantastic experience: Huge Shoutout to all the hardworking people at CCDS My son Jose had a wonderful instructor, Coach Perrone, throughout this entire COVID situation! He was always readily available to help and answer questions immediately via email!!! Mr. C is a great instructor as well, He cares for his students is friendly, experienced, and fair! I highly recommend Corpus Christi Driving School if your child is needing successful instruction on getting their drivers license.

Negative experience: Old instructions with no tolerance for questions. Terrible communication skills and rude instructors. Take your Money elsewhere. This is the bottom of the barrel in instruction.

Negative experience: While I don’t comment much on reviews, I highly would like to express how unsatisfied I was coming here. The First of many reasons I would never recommend this place, is the rude and indecent people that work here. All they really care about is the money, and they charge way too much for a service that is flawed. The second reason is the curriculum that is meant to be taught is not presented well to the students. The third was my own personal experience, they told me they gave me a time limit to complete my classes, however I was never told about a time limit. They argued that I was told but I am 100% sure that I was not told and they lied to me. When I came back they told me that I could not complete my classes, and I lost close to $400 to not finish. After they told me I had to wait till I was 18 to do their adult classes, still trying to take money from me. The idea I’m trying to express is that I would never recommend this place to anyone in Corpus, don’t ever take your kids, don’t ever go yourself. Save yourself the money by doing it all online, it saves money and you’ll get it done quicker and more efficiently than you would at this dreaded place.

Fantastic experience: Great and knowledgeable instructors who make learning to drive fun!!! Mr. C was always professional and kind. Coach always teaches from the heart. If you want your child to pass, take them to Corpus Christi Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Corpus Christi Driving School. Florinda & Appy are great!! My daughter took her driving classes here and was even able to take her drivers test with them for an additional fee which was great because she was already comfortable driving with them and we didn't have to worry about driving to the DPS and waiting to get scheduled.
