Fantastic experience: I recently took a 2-hour mock road test driving lesson with Sarah Phelan, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I got in the car, she made me feel comfortable and confident. We went over every aspect of the road test in detail, from parking to highway driving, and Sarah Phelan gave me great feedback and tips on how to improve. What I really appreciated was her calm demeanor and patience. Even when I made mistakes, she never made me feel stressed or rushed. By the end of the lesson, I felt much more prepared for the real test and learned new driving techniques that will help me in the long run. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! If you’re looking to take a mock road test or just want to improve your driving skills, I highly recommend booking a lesson with Sarah Phelan, You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Great program for preparting new drivers! All online classes were flexible and informative. Anytime I called in to ask questions, all of the customer service people were patient and answered my questions thoroughly. Sarah gave my daughter her final driving lesson before her road test at The Next Street. She was super positive and very helpful. Al Cirigliano was there on the day of the test and helped with the final preparations that she needed to pass her road test. I highly recommend The Next Street.

Fantastic experience: I had Sarah Phelan for my 3rd driving lesson and it was easily the most fun and productive time I have spent driving yet! Sarah is so sweet and immediately made me feel comfortable when the lesson started. She was funny, kind, and super patient when I was getting the feel for the car. When we got on the highway (for like my 2nd time ever) I was completely at ease and relaxed and comfortable while driving. She taught me how to back in park super easily and taught me about implied stops. She also is absolutely great when it comes to tips for the road test. It was a great experience and I can’t wait for my next lesson!

Negative experience: Daughter had a 2 hour driving lesson that ended early. Called to see if she could get the remaining time, as it is very expensive and paid for a service that was not completed. That call was made over a week ago with no answer back from Next Street. The customer service is subpar at best as this is the 2nd time there has been no call back regarding this issue. Would not recommend Next Street.

Fantastic experience: I had Sarah P for my second lesson and if i could give her 500000 stars i would, she was so nice and patient with me. I learned so much in the 2 hours and i am a lot more comfortable on the road.

She is extremely knowledgable and has the best personality! She made my daughter comfortable and explained with great detail. Fantastic experience: Ari Yiannoulis was a very professional and helpful instructor he made me feel ready for my road test. 100 percent would recommend him. He was very patient. He makes the driving lesson less nerve racking then they normally would be. All my friends enjoy driving with him. Definitely one of the best instructors at the next street.

Negative experience: Don't be fooled, they are flashy and advertise that they have locations everywhere. Thats why I chose them for my sons driver's ed experience. It included the full driver's ed course and 8 hours behind the wheel lessons. The classroom portion was ok, except its all on Zoom so for one class the instructor didn't know my son was there and he had to sit through another 2 hour class he had already taken. It really fell apart when it came time to schedule his in car lessons. I have been trying to get lessons scheduled since March, and they have nothing close to us until September! We did get lucky ONCE and were able to schedule a lesson close to home, and the instructor didn't show up. I've tried calling and emailing. Email gets no response, calling you're on hold for 10-20 minutes each time. Today I decided to hold until someone picked up, because I actually had time to wait that ridiculous amount of time. They agreed to refund me for the behind the wheel portion of the program, after I refused to drive 30 minutes to a different location. Great! I immediately called Epic Driving School and they are able to start teaching my son tomorrow, and have TONS of appointments available in the near future. They're also less expensive. So to summarize, between March-September ZERO availability for my location. No-show instructor the one time we did get an appointment. Lacking response to customer inquiries or issues. Advertise locations everywhere, but don't expect to be able to actually get a lesson close to you in a timely manner. This review never had to happen if they would've answered my emails or had someone pick up the phone efficiently. Ive been reaching out to them since April. Choose a different driving school.

Fantastic experience: Daniel H, Tyler S, and Ronald M made my experience with The Next Street, such a hassle free and great time. With the classroom instruction, with Daniel H, I was able to learn about many important aspects about driving. With Tyler S and Ronald M, I was able to learn the on road techniques in parking maneuvers, as well as driving on the highway. The Next Street made getting my license, such a relaxing and easy experience!

Negative experience: Very poor management. I took the 8hrs class at the orange location which is literally a dirty hole in the wall with a bathroom. You have to seat on uncomfortable chairs that where made for preschoolers the whole day. The instructor had problems displaying videos because of the lack of internet connection, which she had to pay for, and her entire class was based on YouTube videos! I could do that from the comfort of my home. Just bad at so many levels, but they rock those misleading ads! UPDATE: No, I don't need my money back. You need to improve your management and provide your employees with all they need in order to run a good class so others can have a better experience. And for the love of God clean that location and replace those chairs.

Negative experience: This organization has been absolutely horrible. The classes have been a hodge podge of bad: I went to the next street in Orange and we consistently have teachers come late, say factually incorrect things, and read to us from the book like children. Plus, The Next Street swears they are flexible, which is untrue. To make up a class is a struggle as they only offer them every few weeks and usually not at your location. The administrative systems seem particularly terrible. I have been given wrong information over the phone over and over again, lied to, and one help service man called me crazy when I quoted his colleague. Their crazy antics have almost cost me my liscence, and I know I have no time for that. Learning to drive is difficult enough already, and there is no need for a school which only makes it harder. I recommend going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Kevin Wilson is a great instructor, he's funny and relatable while still making sure we learn the material. He offers a lot of personal stories to go along with the lesson and makes sure to make the classes fun and engaging.

Positive experience: The next street was very helpful for learning to drive and also good habits to do before driving. While some of the videos boring the instructor was extremely helpful. Overall I would recommend the next street for anyone who wants to take drivers ed.
