Positive experience: I received the proper training to feel comfortable about getting on the road. The only issue is this location needs more instructors and trucks to get more practice time.

Fantastic experience: Great program they pay attention to detail. If you don't understand they will help you until it clicks! Doug matt eric Randle & annie are the absolute best . Doug wants nothing but the best and will help until you get it! 10/10

Fantastic experience: The instructors take there time and do everything they can to give each and every student a high quality education. All the instructors are highly skilled in various ways, from having experience teaching people to fly in the military, or even 25+ years driving experience.

Fantastic experience: All the instructors were very encouraging and knowledgeable about the truck!The instructors was very patient! Doug was very knowledge "an asshole but I appreciate him very much! Eric was my cool very knowledgeable and helped me to keep pushing forward! Matt " drive the tandems" helped me to get better understanding of the truck. I will always hear Matt in the back of my mind "the process work". Mrs Annie always an encouraging word never let me give up and let me figure it out for myself. I couldn't have had a better experience with road master. My instructors were all amazing and super helpful. Fantastic experience: I enjoyed the time I was enrolled there. Zee is a great instructor just wish she didn’t move on to other and better things. The other instructors gave you there time and experience and it helped me a lot.

Fantastic experience: These people are like family and treat you as such. Crystal, Zee, Doug, Kenneth ,Kelly,Matt, and the people who names I forgot are all true Roadmasters. Never letting you doubt yourself one bit , even helped me in my time of having personal trouble. Even the students are rooting for you to become a professional driver and support each other with tips and information for one another. This was one of the best experiences of my life and I want to thank everyone who was there for me, especially Crystal who i thought was tough on us has a heart of gold and refused to let me fall off when it was getting to me, she was a true godsend Oh my and that guy Doug is hilarious even when it gets rough saying stuff like "trust the Doug" . Oh man and Zee is going to give you what you need to be prepared for success and will say "You got this".Can't forget Matt he's like the uncle of the instructors just a big kind guy. Oh and I can't leave out Kenneth he's a very good instructor and will tell you to "think about it before moving your truck". Hold up gotta give Kelly her props all I gotta say is she's one of the best they got at the school, gave me confidence at the DMV and said " you gone get it this time" and I did. Fantastic experience: Well, where do I start. I guess I will break down my thoughts into 3 portions/categories. The first, will be the organization. In my opinion, the organization could do better. For the amount of money that we as students have to pay, we're not getting to see what exactly were paying for.. Too many students per class, not enough instructors per students, not enough trucks per class for proper training. If the company invest more into the students, the success rate per month would greatly increase and the burden of having to deal with unnecessary surprises and difficulties, just might all together disappear. The second point is the office staff, they did an amazing job getting me in class at the last minute and they did a good job keeping me up to date on job offers that presented itself to me. Every question I had, they made great effort to answer as fast as possible. The third point wound be the instructors. To be fully honest, these men and women are the best of the best in terms on taking their knowledge and experience and modeling it in such a way that just about anyone can go from not knowing the first thing about trucks, to backing up a semi into box in a 90 degree angle. Matt, the classroom instructor is just amazing. taking a book with over 30 chapters and drinking it into our brains was no easy feat. Especially when we were able to retain most of not all of the information. Crystal took the knowledge we gained in thy book theory and helped us connect it with the physical. She helped us see and connect with, the various parts we would be interacting with, once we start working at professional drivers. Andrew helped us build confidence on the road, teaching us the do's and don'ts of being on the road, how to make safe calculated turns and navigate the road as part of the system. Doug helped us understand the basics of backing up a truck and trailer, his passion for driving and helping his students was felt on a daily basis.. He made sure that you learned something new about yourself and the operating of that truck. And finally, Zee is the final instructor. She is the entire package at the school. She the person who takes you to the dmv on test day, and goes over everything you have been learning the past month and get you ready to face the test with confidence. As long as you listen and follow her exact instructions, you have no chance of failing. No one does a better job at preparing you for real world as a truck driver than Zee does. I highly recommend this school simply for the level of service you're going to receive.

Fantastic experience: I definitely learned a lot and loved the experience. The instructors all do their jobs very well teaching you everything they know about trucking. They also made it a lot of fun. My favorite was Doug...he made it very clear what to do and how to do it and you can tell he cares about teaching you he also works very hard. I liked all of the instructors though they all have they're own ways of teaching and it was great for the learning experience having different points of view. I will definitely tell whoever is interested in a career over the road to go to Roadmaster!!!

Negative experience: This school is the worst school to attend they only care about the loan process soon as that clears everything else goes out the window don’t be fooled by the nice show in & tell process once your in class there true colors show they don’t teach you what you need to know on the DMV test and if you fail there made up test they kick you out and you still have to pay them back they the hotel they keep you in is dirty they talk to you with no respect I advise you to go anywhere but here this school is a horrible investment this school should close there door or find a better teacher

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin, I have had the best experience with RoadMaster Driving School. They have the best instructors I want to thank Zee for all her help and encouraging me to keep pushing and not giving up. She is an amazing instructor she patient and very professional. I could not have asked for a better instructor. I also want to thank Doug this man is the GOAT He never gave up on me even when I wanted to give up on myself. I remember when I told him that I was quitting because I could not get the 90, he let me vent and when I was done he said now get your butt back out there and knock that 90 out. I can't forget Matt he was very informative with everything that we needed to know prior to going out on the paid with Zee and Doug. I will always remember what he said in regards to getting our CDL's... When you get them they don't have any test scores on them, so don't get all in a pickle if your scores are not perfect just do your best and you will be fine. James I thank you as well for not listening to me when I stormed in your office and said that's it I'm done and I'm not coming back. You just sat there and when I was finished you said Bev you got this, just get out your head and do what you know to do. I also that you for taking out the time to come out to help me with that 90. Scott I can't forget about you, you were an awesome road instructor, very patient and calm. Thank you for all your help. Last but certainly not least Crystal even though I didn't have the pleasure of having you as a PTI instructor you gave me some very good pointers about being a lady trucker. Fantastic experience: Hands down the best instructors I’ve ever met they’re funny and fun to be around and Learn and listen too also, they’re just great instructors they really talk you through and teach you everything you need to know to take the next steps into the trucking industry I’m very thankful to attend road masters in Bessemer to obtain my cdls and also meet new people if you will sit there and listen I promise they won’t fail you!! It may seem like a lot but I promise they give more than enough time to learn and get what you’re there for! I am a proud roadmaster graduate Thanks to the staff for the support and help!

Fantastic experience: You can’t go wrong with Roadmaster, this is a great school with great instructors. With Zee and Doug on your side there is nothing you won’t be prepared for. They take their time to make sure you understand what you are doing, and not just going with the motions. And even if you don’t pass on your first try at the DMV, they keep you motivated cause they actually want to see you excel. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get their CDL. Again big shoutout to Zee and Doug some of the best teachers and genuine people I’ve met. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I want to say I appreciate all the roadmaster staff with the experience and for helping me get my cdl. First off I want start with Matt best classroom teacher you could have to learn how to get your cdl he was very informative and helpful. Secondly I want to appreciate Crystal with helping me a lot with learning the parts and everything that’s on the truck. A great PTI instructor. Thirdly Dougie Fresh is a great backing maneuver instructor he teaches u the basics to make backing a 18 wheeler as simple as possible for you and he helped me with that a lot. Last but not least Z shout out to Z with being there and helping me and showing me the way on how to get my license. Z and Doug the best backing instructors you can have. Fantastic experience: Trust the Doug lol Doug will get you the basic information and a foundation. Crystal will instill Pre-Trip in you head. Zee oh Zee will get you from the pad to the DMV and once’s she gets you there she’s gonna place you in position to be there best Truck Driver

Negative experience: I called this school to get training for my cdl. I was told that they had SEVERAL companies that would pick me up as a driver AFTER I got my cdl license. They checked my credit and told me I was approved for the loan to pay my tuition. Get a call from Werner about driving for them once I've completed the class. In my mind, I'm thinking, That's good! Not at all. Once I told them that I could not stay out on the road for 6 weeks at a time, they automatically said that I could not drive for them. Well I was also told that I could work during the week and come home on weekends. Fine. That's better. I'm a parent of 3 and I am trying to make a living for my family. I still have kids in school. I can't just pick up and leave my kids for 6 weeks. Ya'll ran my credit and because I can't stay gone for 6 weeks I have to apply for a loan through my financial institution to get in your school? So not fair. What happened to the loan I applied for? Why can't it be used? What happened to the several companies I was told ya'll had? Why do I have to just commit to Werner? Will definitely not be using this school. $10,000 I would have to pay out of pocket to you guys. I can and will find someone way cheaper without getting my credit ran Ended up going to the school anyways. Got dropped from the program because I missed a day taking my daughter to an appointment. Was informed that I still had to pay back the loan. I tried going back because if I have to pay this loan back, I should be able to come and get what I’m paying for. Was told over and over we will get to the bottom of it and call you back. Never got a call back after 4 months of calling. I ended up going to school elsewhere paying a second school to get my license. Yet I’m stuck paying Roadmasters and didn’t get anything

Fantastic experience: I haven't taken my DMV test yet but I know I'm 100% prepared! Doug, Zee, Scott, Matt , James , Natalie(no longer there), are a class act group of people!! I've NEVER been around a group of people who care about what you learn and what they teach. This group of people will change your life if you allow them and want to make.the change. Put in the effort and get the results! I'm 52 years old.and im.sure I'm not the only life they have changed. If you want results, Roadmaster Bessemer is where you will get them. Open you're eyes and ears ,you'll get there

Fantastic experience: I loved my experience with roadmaster. It was allot of information to take in but it is worth it. All the instructors were amazing and there to help you in anyway you needed. They were very understanding and supportive of everyone's learning capabilities and that alone is awesome. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Their administration staff also were very helpful and informative. Everyone treated you like family and I want to say what you put into it is what you will get out. I’d be lying if I didn’t say it wasn’t frustrating and everyday isn’t going to be a walk in the park but with your hard work and dedication l, your heart is in it you will be just fine. Communication is key at this school and I want to thank everyone for everything they did for me and my fellow classmates! Class 33 baby!!!

Fantastic experience: Everything I learned here is paying off in a big way! Standing outside in the heat or cold can be rough, but everything I learned at roadmaster has paid off immensely. I was hired by a company after graduating, and the company has been thoroughly impressed with my driving as well as knowledge. My trainer at this company has stated that he's never had someone start driving that knew as much as I know. In speaking with multiple companies, trainers, and safety personnel, most students come into the truck with extremely crude knowledge of the basics, such as only being able to back the truck in a straight line. Roadmaster makes you proficient in straight line backing, angled (offset) backing, and alley docking (90 degree backing). If you're not familiar with trucks, all drivers have to inspect their trucks at the beginning of their shift, known as a "pre-trip inspection." The level of pre-trip taught at Roadmaster goes above and beyond what most companies and trainers require, meaning you'll know if something is wrong with your truck almost immediately. This is a life-saving skill to have. Finally, the on-the-road instruction is also above and beyond. In my short time being employed and on the road, this instruction has saved me from multiple potential issues. (Steve, I haven't hit a single curb yet. You'd be proud). In conclusion, if you want to get started in this industry with an extremely impressive education, I'd recommend roadmaster 1000%!!!

Fantastic experience: I had some great and not so great experiences at Roadmaster. Due to many obstacles I faced I’m grateful I made it to graduation and to obtain my CDL. Tyler in admissions was amazing and made sure I got started in my schooling. Terry P was a very instrumental instructor to my success. He took the time to assist me with my skills and perfected what I couldn’t understand. He is an amazing instructor and a great asset to Roadmaster. The other instructors were great as well. All played a vital part in my success as a student and I am forever grateful. Thank you Roadmaster the experience was well worth it.

Positive experience: I chose Roadmaster because it was close to home. Over the course of my training, I encountered trials, challenges, and difficulties, but all of my instructors were there to help with whatever I needed. Instructions, career advise, life advice, I got the help I needed for my future trucking career. If anyone is looking to get a Class A CDL, you won't go wrong with Roadmaster.

Fantastic experience: I recently became a graduate of Roadmasters and I must say; it was an experience that I’ll carry with me for a lifetime. No only was it a good environment to learn in but the staff was also very memorable. Though each member of the team carried their weight, Mr. Jeff and Ms. Ci do not get nearly enough credit. Mr. was like the uncle that everyone needs but doesn’t have, I encourage anyone that attends to soak up his knowledge. Ms. Ci is a kind soul that actually cares about the students that come through the school. Not only did I learn the fundamentals of trucking, I enjoyed the process!

The school manager is very knowledgeable and she's very helpful in the process. the school is well ran and the instructors are patient. The student to instructor ratio is low unlike most other schools. I highly recommend this school
