Fantastic experience: Kevin was the instructor for 3 of my kids over the last several years. He’s wonderful to work with! It was easy to get driving times scheduled. Best of all, my kids have all become confident and safe drivers. Can’t recommend this school and Kevin enough!

Fantastic experience: This was a great driving program for my daughter. Kevin Groenhagen was her driving instructor and he was so great! He was thorough and patient and my daughter had very nice things to say about him as well. He was thoughtful and reminded her that she could bring a snack or drink since they drove for 2 hours at a time. He was also very flexible with scheduling and offered a lot of time options.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has taken the classes and has just completed the driving portion. My son will be finishing his driving classes in the coming weeks. They made the entire process worry free. They have been more than accommodating to our schedule giving us both morning and evening drive time classes options. As well as being very informative every step of the way. My daughter’s instructor Kevin, has been fantastic. She spoke highly of him, saying that he made her feel calm and comfortable in situations that could have easily been stressful. Kevin made sure to update me on her progress after every driving class and made us aware of what to expect along the way. I cannot highly recommend this driving school enough.

Fantastic experience: Their schedule is convenient with a one day, 8-hr class. They worked with us to expedite my daughter’s paperwork so she could have her permit in time to drive on a road trip, and their follow up in scheduling driving lessons is organized and flexible. Great place!

Fantastic experience: Kennedy Drive Right School of Johnson County was fantastic for both my kids. This school was especially good for my non neurotypical child. He had gone through another drive school in a different state and did not pass. Here they kept the environment calm and relaxed. They also gave clear instruction. He passed the written with a 95 and did great on the drive instruction. Having passed he is a more confident driver with us, his parents, and has a positive outlook on his driving he did not have before. A lot of his driving success was due to his drive instructor Kevin. He was patient with my son which helped my son be calm and be capable of succeeding. All the staff I spoke to where amazing and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my driving instructor Kevin G. The whole driving class was so well planned by him . He made sure that I get driving experience on all types of roads and all practical scenarios- roundabouts , small lanes , lane merge , yield , highways etc. He is very patient, motivating, positive and encouraging . Since day 1 of my session he motivated me saying that I am really doing great but at the same time made me realise and improve on my mistakes. He is really very friendly and polite.Thank You Kevin !

Fantastic experience: this is our second time using Kennedy driving school as our son went through it two years ago with a great experience. Our daughter just went through Kennedy driving school. She had a great experience as well. The driving portion was with Kevin and he was absolutely amazing. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience With Kennedy Drive-Right, especially with Dave Ross who was our son's driving instructor. He was very patient and gave him just the right amount of instruction to help him gain confidence and become a much better driver! As parents, Dave also did a great job keeping us informed and gave us pointers to help our son in between lessons.

Fantastic experience: My son had a great experience with Kennedy Driving school. They were so friendly and easy to work with. His only complaint was the VERY uncomfortable chairs they had to sit in during class. But other than that it was wonderful and he’s excited to start driving!

But I needed to lern driving as soon as possible because my husband was moving out. So I requested them to finish my lessons as soon as possible. I also found the driving section to be really helpful. Kevin was a wonderful behind-the-wheel instructor. He made sure to cover everything that was needed and also ensured that enough time was spent on areas that required practice. Overall, it was a great experience and couldn't recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Kennedy Drive-Right School. My 14 year old son attended the one day class where he learned a lot and easily passed the written portion of the exam. He then was able to get a lot of driving experience with the driver who comes right to your home and does three 2 hour driving sessions. My son is now much more comfortable with driving and wants to practice as often as he can! I would definitely recommend the Kennedy Drive-Right School.

I joined this school with zero experience, but then the driver (Kevin) there was really helpful and he thought me all he could. He was a great driving teacher. He gave me right instructions throughout my drives and in the end I turned out getting my completion certificate. I totally recommend to join this school. If your looking for learning how to drive from no experience it’s the one!

Fantastic experience: Our 3rd son just completed the Kennedy drive right school and it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. David Ross was his driving instructor and as luck would have it he was the same instructor for both of our other children as well. He is excellent at his job! If you can request an instructor, ask for Mr Ross!

Fantastic experience: We can't say enough about the Kennedy Drive-Right School. It was a great partnership from our initial call to its office, the day-long session, and its in-person driving instruction; all were handled professionally by the team. We were very happy we didn't need to decipher the state's info on getting permitted and licensed, Kennedy gives you the intel in easy to understand language. Our driving instructor, Kevin, was great. He was patient and supportive with our student driver. It helps he has kids of his own, he understands how to communicate with them. He also took the time to share each driving lesson with the parents, a relief when you can't plan on your teenager doing this. Thanks, Kennedy Drive-Right School!

Fantastic experience: Kevin was so awesome! He is calm and patient and made our new 14 year old driver feel at ease. Also was a great teacher of the fundamentals of driving. We are driving with our 14 year old now and blown away at how well he is doing after working with Kevin. Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: This place was the biggest waste of money ever. For how much they charge youd think they'd uproot their technology from the 90s and show a little more interest in making the customer feel like they've made a good choice and a beneficial investment. Nope. The parking lot was clean.

Fantastic experience: Our 5th and final child just finished her driving experience at Kennedy's. All have enjoyed it, learned the rules of the road and become comfortable behind the wheel. Our last instructor, Kevin G.,who was thorough and nice. Very professional, cautious and organized. Always on time and prepared and used the entire 2 hours of each session for driving time. Fantastic experience: Great experience. Both of my teenagers attended and loved learning from Dave! The classroom and driving experiences were extremely productive and essential in helping my kids learn how to drive responsibly! Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I would not recommend taking classes from this school. First off they have you take classroom portion in packed room with little to no ventilation utilizing VCR videos from the 90s. The first driving instructor I had refused to wear a face mask and was emotionally abusive to the point that I had to stop lessons with him and broke down crying. And then I find out that after going through all that as a person with a disability that I can’t even receive my certificate of completion because of the restrictions on permit, which was not stated at all on their website or contract I signed. It’s a shame that they are choosing to have dishonest practices during a pandemic for a couple hundred dollars. So please look elsewhere. Update 12/21/20 So the owner’s wife Mrs. Kennedy called me to inform me that they will not honor the rest of my contract which is 2 hours of driving because I left a negative review of their services. I was unaware that in Kansas you should fear retaliation for voicing your grievances. This should give you insight on their unprofessional business practices.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my driving lessons with Mark, who was a great instructor. I felt like the 9-5 in-person class was a bit too long (though very informational), but overall the experience was worth it. I am currently a college student and this was a great way to get in driving hours rather than having to practice and then take a test. I have made my appointment with the DMV and expect to get my license in two weeks! Would recommend for younger high school students!
