Fantastic experience: We have taken services from this driving school. Strongly recommended to take lesson from the Lady (Sorry Mrs. I forgot your name). She is super professinal, highly skilled/knowledgeable and extreamly helpful to teach student according to the individual's capability. She is equipped with mild and nice manner. Never look for other than her to consider as your instructor if you have plan to go to this Academy for your kids or family. Last but not least, They need to have better conditioned car though.

Negative experience: This place is extremely unprofessional and un organized. I tried and tried to make a appointment to take my exam with them different days of the week and they wouldnt answer and when they did and we finally get a appointment scheduled the day I show up they tell me it was never scheduled and the instructors there are completely disrespectful and seem to want you to fail to just keep collecting money. I definitely do not recommend this place TO ANYONE.

Negative experience: Read this, and the other reviews before you even THINK about going here. Biggest waste of money ever, honestly. First class, I think, went great. He was nice and friendly. After that, it pretty much went downhill. He will yell and get frustrated if we don't give him an answer right away. The same goes for the drives. He will grab the wheel and slam on the brake if you don't do what he says correctly. I think the biggest thing was when he started commenting on my appearance because I wear a hat/beanie? He didn't even sound sarcastic. He just plain didn't like the fact I wore them. In the next class, I couldn't give him an answer right away, and he got frustrated. He said I couldn't give him an answer because I wear a beanie, and it's frying my brain cells. The sad thing is that he sounded completely serious he believed that too. In the car, he has us set the mirrors to where we can't even see regularly. In the book, and online, it says have the mirrors to where you can slightly see the car you're in. He has us set the mirrors to where you can't see the side of the car. Not even close. Had to reschedule a drive twice because he wasn't there both times. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's so bad I just straight up left.

Negative experience: I went there on 3-25-24 at 12 pm to take the written test and waited around until 12:22 and no one showed up to work. They open at 12 pm. I went again on 3-26-24 at 12pm and no instructor.I waited until 12:15 and immediately went to a different driving school and took the test. Apparently, the employees at Cruisers, just show up whenever they fell like it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: First off there cars they have us drive in all seem to have something wrong with them, and in the class they talk about having a car with no issues that works as it should. There cars where definitely not as they wanted ours to be. One of the students said that the car would randomly jerk to the left, and another one of there cars would over heat often and they had to keep putting coolant in it. They also just drive weird (not sure if it’s because I’m not use to pt cruisers, but they just felt like they drove weird). Another issue I had with this course was the instructors, I had three different people telling me different things. For example the main instructor I had never once corrected me or told me I made turns wrong. But when I had a drive in Moses lake the instructor there corrected me every time I turned. Now I’m not gonna name them but there was this other guy who was very rude. He told me to pull to the side of the road and stop so I did as I was told, I pulled over and noticed I was blocking a driveway, and I knew that so I moved forward that way I wasn’t blocking it and the guy got mad telling me to only do as he says. This guy also sticks his hands out the window and yells at other drivers. ( which if I’m correct that would be road rage which they teach us not to do). Next issue I had was the things they taught and how they taught, in my opinion they taught a lot of useless things and there where somethings that we didn’t get taught that we needed to know, like using a turn signal when leaving a parking spot ( I didn’t know that and they slammed on the break and sat wasting my time ranting on about why I need to use it instead of a simple, you need to use your signal when leaving a parking spot). I have also noticed they don’t do or follow anything they teach us. Like using your signal when leaving a parking spot ( saw to of the instructors forget to do that) or setting your mirrors (they had us set our mirrors to where we couldn’t see what was behind us. We had to use the rear view mirror to see what was behind us. And If your in a truck with tool boxes or slip tanks in the back you can’t see anything or even if your pulling a trailer) they taught us using mainly PowerPoints where they would tell us to write something down then they changed the slide and we forgot what to write. They are also hard to communicate with and set times up. They rely on the school district to send out information instead of them letting the parents/students know, now not every person goes to that school, like me I don’t go to Odessa which is where I was taking the course so it was hard to get information. Personally I would not recommend this course to people. For a final drive I did right turn driving school in Connell and it was nice, the people where super nice and helped with many things. Now I’m not sure how there teaching is but I’m sure it’s better than cruisers.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, called to make a drivers test appointment and they were so rude, I didn’t even want to finish setting up my appointment because of how they were treating me. Don’t like your job? Get a new job.:)

Negative experience: I had to make up a few classes here, and my first issue with this place, is that classes never got out on time. I was told they would be from 6-8, but we would get out at around 8:40. This was mostly because of the instructor going completely off topic, and telling stories that had nothing to do with the lesson, which brings me into my second issue. The instructor would constantly go off the rails, and talk about whatever random story came to his mind. On our last day, we were supposed to watch a presentation, take a test, and leave. Instead, we listened to the instructor go on about his political views for about an hour before we did anything. The one in Ephrata was no different. I would not recommend this place to anyone, until they get their act together.

Negative experience: I had setup an appointment and went in and it was a hassle. Them calling me a liar. Central Washington driving school are polite and nice people

Tyler Dooley 2 years ago

Negative experience: Was nice, had to take the paper knowledge test, but unprofessional, arrived 20 minutes late when he was supposed to open at 12:00pm. I probably will go to the other place to take my drive test.

Cody Miller 2 years ago

Negative experience: Not the best experience with Cruisers. They didn't show up for a confirmed drive. They hardly return phone calls. Teaching is death by power point. It's a rip off of money. Very upset with the lack of communication!

Mrs Christine Janel 3 years ago

Negative experience: Didn't learned anything from them. Waste of my gas time and money. Mr Veteran Will ask money from you every single time for gas, tests and $5 per drives.. He shouted at me and gets frustrated if I don't get the instructions.. (well it's my very first time to drive) I was literally crying while I was driving around town. You won't feel welcome there and there's a feeling of negative vibes. I paid $500+++ and spent 3 mos for nothing!

Fantastic experience: Buen lugar todos muy amables y atentos se los recomiendo

Negative experience: Owner spent 45 minutes ranting about politics and the election. During the test he became quite angry (I passed, lol) and seemed unable to control his emotions. I would absolutely hate to take a test through this school again and if you or your child has anxiety or doesn't like to be yelled at, DO NOT go here. There are plenty of DECENT driving schools through-out the state and Cruisers is NOT one of them. I've taken a driver exam in Seattle and had a much better experience with the conductor.

Negative experience: My son I had a very bad experience with Cruisers Driving School. I wouldn't want anyone to be treated the way we were treated. Keenan Bishop is all talk and no action, he has lost his memory and forgets that he has appointments set up. He is rude and unprofessional, he and his driving school are a waste of time and money. He should not be in any sort of business, I do not recomend anyone to this place.

Negative experience: The main owner is extremely rude . Would never go again he claimed he lost all my “papers “ and I have to pay to retake all drivers ed! When we had proof. He yelled at me very badd and started punching the wheel I wish I would of recorded.

Negative experience: I have delt with three of the people that work here. One of them was very rude and mean for no reason. I was really nice to them ( I had been taught customer service). I couldn't figure out why she was so rude and mean for no reason. The other guy just wasted our time. We had a terrible experience. Go somewhere else. Not worth all the money we spent.

Fantastic experience: Took my drive test and passed the first time! My instructor Keenan was very informative and helped me to better understand proper rules of the road. I would recommend cruisers

jenspeanutshow 6 years ago

Positive experience: It’s barely passable 3 1/2 stars .. they need to work on communicating the parents who have never dealt with driver’s ed before , & stop making promises to kids about pizza then not delivering. Also their customer service could be a tiny bit better. I’m Worried I have no proof my kid passed with them .. good luck trying to get them on the phone

Abdi Reyes 6 years ago

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time. Had an appointment for a driving test and took longer then expected to take the test. Not to mention they’ll use almost any excuse for you to use their car and pay extra... not worth your time or money. They’re also very rude, seen one lady talking to one of the students very rude and sarcastic. Would t send my kid there

Fantastic experience: Best experience I've gotten. So helpful and willing to work with me, worth everything to do if you're a new driver

William West 6 years ago

Negative experience: My son made an appointment for the driving portion of the test. Got down to the place early. No one there. Sign on the door said that they would be back in an hour and a half. No one showed up. Waited a bit before leaving. This appointment was confirmed twice. No one tried to contact us regarding the appointment. Would not recommend this company.

Negative experience: I do NOT recommend at all. I've had 2 other kids go through driving school in Oregon and this one is NOT professional, the teacher has an anger issue and VERY often goes off on political rants. This is NOT what I paid $435 for.

Negative experience: Would rate Even less if I could instructor lady is terrible and terribly rude feels like I'm being instructed by a 10 yr old sister they're thugs hoping you'll take their course nothing but a money grab

Jessica Marie 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience! The driver instructor was very nice! Made the drivers test less nerve racking, I would definitely recommend this drivers school to my friends & family!

Kimball Waites 7 years ago

Positive experience: My first 3 kids all took driver's ed here, and did great. Really happy with the way they've worked with my kids and the support they've provided to them. I've never found them to be rude, as some have said. And my kids didn't fail the tests, so I don't believe they are out to just get more money either. Sometimes kids just fail. Too many people can't accept correction without thinking the person correcting them is rude or disrespectful. I've been very impressed with them as they have dealt with my kids.

Fantastic experience: All three of my sons went through the program at Cruisers Driving Academy and earned a driver's license. They loved their instructors and got along well in class with students. It was a good experience for each of my sons. They taught me a few things about WA driving laws that I didn't realize!

Emily Koenig 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: I took my drivers test here, and it was the best experience I could hope for! Everyone was very friendly, which helped me (one of those nervous test takers. Guilty) to calm those nerves. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend! Thanks Cruisers!

Fantastic experience: EXCELLENT driving instruction!! We just finished our second student in this program. They have GREAT instructors and instruction. If the students cooperate, participate, and practice, they will learn what WA state requires to receive a license. We feel our children are now becoming very competent drivers. We have one more and will be sending her next year. THANK YOU, Cruisers!!

Fantastic experience: Most positive experience, very caring instructor. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: This is a really great driving school. They have really great instructors who make sure that you actually know how to drive when you leave the academy. It's also really close to the Moses Lake high school + they offer to pick up and drop off kids from and back to the school. I definitely recommend Cruisers Driving Academy to everyone!!
