Fantastic experience: Kings Driving School is the Best! My daughter needed to complete her driving hours before her DMV test and Martin was an amazing instructor. She said she felt very comfortable and not nervous at all. Martin taught her everything she needed to learn to become a safe driver and she passed her driving test 1st try!!! Thank you so much Kings Driving School we’ll be calling them to schedule driving lessons for my son soon too

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience with this school, I had an old guy don’t remember his name but, he show up late smelling like cigarettes, and every time I would make a mistake he would scream at me and told me I was doing it wrong, I got even more nervous because of that and I couldn’t pass my test, I would not recommend this school

We drove around the courses few time before the test and she patiently corrected my old-driving habits and helped me to get the perfect score for the test! Fantastic experience: I highly recommend King’s Driving School. Both my kids passed their driving test with flying colors. The latest one was last November 16, 2023 at DMV Arleta. Isabela was professional, patient and knowledgeable of her craft. She gave my son tips and information significant to the driving test exam. I availed the 1 hour driving instruction prior to my son’s driving test in DMV. Their car was used in the driving test. Thank you again Isabela!

Fantastic experience: Today I passed my American road test first try all thanks to Martin! I've held a license in the UK for 10 years, but driving on American roads feels so different I didn't have the confidence to take a test without some help. Martin is deeply knowledgeable, patient and caringly assertive. His way of teaching allowed me to realize any bad habits I've picked up since I originally passed my UK test, and rewire my way of thinking to be ready for American roads. Thanks to this, I ended up passing with only 3 minor points deducted. So much of the test I would have taken for granted only a few weeks back without learning how to execute the maneuvers properly. I absolutely wouldn't have passed before taking these lessons. Also need to mention Martin is generally a great guy and takes care of his students. He went out of his way to make things easier for me. The amount of people that would recognize him at the DMV only further proved how respected he is within his community. If you're shopping around and want to see results fast, I highly recommend King's Driving School!

Fantastic experience: Without lessons I failed the first try, but I have a license from Europe for many years - still US rules are a little different. So I id a 2 hour driving lesson 2 days before my practical test w Kings Driving School. The 2 hour lesson basically made me pass with zero mistakes and the tester asked how I failed the first time! Driving lesson was calm and everything very well explained, especially what to take care of at every corner and what the testers are looking for. Drove all the routes that the dmv tests on w teacher (I had also found them on YouTube before and drove them by myself for 3-4days) and was very confident the day before the test after driving them again by myself to fight my nervousness. Can only recommend the school! Their 2 h lesson def made me pass, I would've failed otherwise again for sure. Had the best experience w them, thank you so much! Also Glendale is a good spot to do the test, my friend recommended it to me. Most streets are 25mph, with 3 exceptions. I failed the first in Culver City, that place with all the work traffic and construction is a nightmare! So I was happy to drive out to Glendale for a week and practice by myself and w the driving school!

In a month of having my permit, I took the driving test and passed the first try. Honestly I wouldn’t have been able to get it done without Martin, Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I have been driving for 19 years but moved from another country and needed to do the behind the wheel test. I went out with Martin for 2 hours in my own car and he was awesome, taught me everything I needed to know and I passed no problem!

Fantastic experience: Isabella help me pass my test I had been struggling to pass my drivers test for a long time and had failed several times but she helped me finally pass! Before I would drive but panic easily and not pay attention but after lessons with her she actually explained the process of driving and helped me feel comfortable behind the wheel. Instead of just telling me the basics of driving like every other instructor she actually paid attention, noticed my insecurities and explained/showed me how to correct it. I am so grateful to her!

Negative experience: Horrible driving school

Negative experience: The worst driving school I have ever experienced. I have never experienced this kind of harassment before — this is my second time with Isabella and it was honestly a traumatic experience. Never have I ever dealt with a “teacher” so unprofessional and rude. The entire time I was constantly being criticized and insulted. I understand I am learning how to drive, there’s going to be mistakes made but wow, Isabella just had to take it a step further and amp it up. Comments from her being, “I don’t recommend you to drive,” “you’re so dangerous,” “I don’t have the nerve for you, “I’ve never had any student like you” and so much more worse stuff have been said to me. The entire two hours it was a DRIVING LESSON not a test, so really if you’re going to insult a student and make them feel bad about themselves, you’re in the wrong business. Last 40 minutes of the drive was just nonstop her directing her anger at me and throwing whatever insult she could find. Not to mention, she also said and I quote, “I heard your name and I almost refused you.” What kind of instructor says that? Safe to say I’ll never be back at this driving school and I’m definitely going to be practicing my driving and getting my license very soon. Isabella could have been super kind and professional and tried to understand that I have anxiety yet she overlooked all that and really made it a horrific experience. She also had the audacity to come onto MY PROPERTY and harass me and when my mother also mentioned I have anxiety, she went ballistic and said I should have taken medicine and told her beforehand. I mean that’s a personal issue isn’t it?? Never will be back. Terrible service, cruel woman, and traumatic experience.

Fantastic experience: At first, I was afraid of Isabelle because the way she taught me was different. But the fact that she’s an experienced driver , you will learn alot from her . I remember what she said to me was “ You need to trust me coz I know my job” She got me on that . Btw, I passed my behind the wheel test yesterday with almost no mistake. Fantastic experience: For someone who has never driven before I was beyond nervous during my first lesson. Thankfully, my instructor, Martin, showed understanding and A LOT of patience. Not only he showed me the ABC of driving, but also gave me a lot of useful tips and examples that helped me become a better driver. In addition I had an appt. for Pasadena, because it was the first one that I could get, but my instructor scheduled me for Glendale. We practiced enough in the area so there were no surprises during my exam. I PASSED my exam from the FIRST TRY. If you had told me this before starting driving, I wouldn't believe you. Overall, amazing place and exceptional service that I STRONGLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: My experience with this school was outstanding. I loved the time I had with Mr. Martin. His feedbacks are great. I passed my driving test on my first attempt from Glendale DMV. If you can listen and follow his instructions, passing the driving test would be easy for you.

Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin! This place is just fantastic! Martik and Isabelle were outstanding in their demeanor, professionalism and expertise to say the least! I had called a couple of weeks ago to ask for a 2 hour behind the wheel training, my test was originally scheduled in Hawthorne because they had the earliest date that I could find ( even then it was months ahead! Terrible) Martik was able to find an earlier booking and local to me in Glendale! Isabelle took me around the DMV where they would actually do the test, she is wonderful. I 100% recommend you at least give them a call if you're looking for booking or training! I had my test today and passed with flying colors thanks to Martik and Isabelle

Fantastic experience: The first time i did my driving test, i failed. The second time with the help of Kings Driving School i finally passed! Could have not done it without the help of Isabella. She is very patient, friendly and excellent. I definitely would recommend her.

Positive experience: My experience was not that great. I had Martin as an instructor. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day, but he was rather pushy and rude with me. He was not encouraging, rather he was technical and made me feel as if everything I did was wrong. Example: If I was driving 32mph on a 30mph lane he would criticize me and tell me how big of trouble I could get for doing little things like that. Another example: when it came to stopping behind a vehicle he told me I should make sure I see the back of the tires of the car in-front of me and stop. However he based this on his line of view, not mine. I am taller than him therefore when he sees the back of the vehicle it won’t be exactly the same as when I see the back of the vehicle. Even if I was half a foot away or close...I would get scolded about it. Here is another example if I signaled for a turn at 95ft rather 100, I would get scolded. This is how technical he was being with me and he wasn’t really comforting about it. Now I do understand that I have things to work on, hence why I went there. However, I do regret paying all that money for this service, but at least I know where not to go for my next lesson.

Fantastic experience: Martin was my instructor and he was very helpful and informative about road rules. He is patient, calm, friendly, and I felt confident about my driving abilities after taking lessons with him. I've had experiences in the past where a driving instructor would make me feel anxious and uncertain about my driving abilities, but Martin is an experienced instructor who has an instinct for whether you need more lessons or not. He goes above and beyond that's required of a driving instructor - on the day of the driving test, he accompanied me to the DMV wicket before and after my test. This really helps drivers feel less nervous, especially if they are just beginning to drive or are new to the state/country and aren't sure how the DMV works. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had failed the driving test before I was recommended to the Kings Driving School. In 3 hours I learned more about the road and gained more ability as a driver than in all the practice I had with friends and family. My instructor Isabella was always on time and patient and made sure I understood Why the rules of the road were that way and what this had to do with my and others safety. She noticed what I was weak on and made me practice this over and over until I was comfortable with it. I passed my driving test with flying colors. I warmly recommend her, she is awesome :)

Fantastic experience: Martin of Kings Driving School gave my 16YO son 3 behind-the-wheel l lessons the week of July 13, 2015--2 hours per lesson. Comments: 1) Kings came highly recommended by my sons' friends and their parents. 2) I was able to quickly and easily schedule 3 two hour long lessons for my 16 YO son. 3) Kings came to our home each lesson to pick up my son and delivered him back after the lesson. 4a) The Kings Driving School Instructor, Martin, was PHENOMENAL!!!! 4b) Martin was always prompt in arriving at our home; 4b) He was thorough in inspecting the paperwork and ensuring David's documents were in order; 4c) Martin had a calm, patient demeanor and seemed to be a TERRIFIC and OUSTANDING instructor for my son who had never driven a car before. I cannot recommend Kings Driving School more strongly or highly and without reservation!!!!!!

Positive experience: Hi, I am new in Glendale even to US. I joined Kings Driving school. Although I have several years driving experience but still to get Driving License here in US I had to join a school for better understanding of the rules and regulations. The instructor was very helpful and very easy to get along with. I had absolutely the right information I needed in 4 hours of my training behind the wheel. The car was new and very easy to use.
