Fantastic experience: Very cool

Positive experience: Overall it was useful to my learning. The online class felt excessive however, being 2 hours for each class. Otherwise I learned many useful things from it. The instructors were very helpful and explained things super well on the driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: Jason was my teacher on the zoom, I would give more than 5 stars if I could. He really cultivated an evironment where we felt we could really talk about the material, I was honestly excited for every class.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at the Defensive Driving School. I took my knowledge test and my driving test. My driving instructor, Paul, was very knowledgeable in explaining all the nuances of driving. The test went very well, despite my poor English. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Steve was such an incredible instructor, I genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He was the definition of calm, cool, and collected. He was super respectful and not only taught me skills I can use on the road, but skills I can use in my life aswell. My online classes were with Verna and I greatly appreciated her & the support guy Vincent. This course was incredibly valuable to me and appreciate how seamless the process was. If you ever see this Steve thank you so much, and I hope enjoy the rest of your driving instructor career!

Negative experience: Don't go here. They set themselves up in a location with very unclear signage and traffic laws. Moving with the flow of traffic gets an automatic fail on your driving test. It's intentionally set up this way because they want you to retake the test with their $130 "warmup package." Where they will warn you of all the messed up traffic laws in the area before the test. Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you. Apparently, you can leave your classes early by buying your way out with a positive review. teenagers naturally... This location is a scam, find a better location.

Fantastic experience: Super easy to follow along classes and their instructors are all very enjoyable to be around

Negative experience: Biggest headache of my life. instructors don’t teach things they actually test on . My son paid for extra lessons, car had issues they offered a partial refund or 30 min lesson. When over 45 mins of the lesson was missed with car issues. My son then contracted strep throat so we had to pay for the missed drive. Next time I guess he should pass the sickness on instead of letting them know. I know for my next 4 kids they will definitely be going elsewhere

Fantastic experience: The classes went very well, joining classes was easy, the instructors were great, Q&A questions were always answered.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are patient and give much needed advice, whether online or in-person. During the drives, they carefully inspect your driving habits and commentate accordingly. Every mistake made during the drives would be followed by a solution proposed by them, so they are rarely repeated.

Fantastic experience: Andrew Hunt is a great teacher! He was really patient and also gave me advice on both buying a car and getting insurance. Definitely would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Overall, the experience was really great. The online classes were easy to join and the learning part was easy to understand. However, I wish more driving classes could be available outside of school hours, but other than that everything was great and I would recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I understood the material very well and the school was very flexible with my hectic schedule. My main teacher was Clay and he was an amazing teacher that made the online experience very entertaining while at home. I also got the pleasure of participating in a class with Jason and it was an amazing time. These teachers are both great and get stuff done too thank you both!

Positive experience: Pretty easy if u pay attention

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience at this driving school. I had Clay as my instructor and Josh as the person responding to Q&A’s and they are both great. Clay is really nice and teaches the content really well. I like that even though he’s a teacher and has to teach the course material, he’s still able to make it fun with stuff like references to Pokémon. Josh is really helpful with answering the questions and he has a lot of knowledge on this kind of stuff so he helps really well with anything I’m asking about or need clarification on.

Fantastic experience: Very nice teachers and drivers. I had Clay teach me through Drivers Ed and he was probably one of my favorite teachers I’ve had. For my drives, I had Andrew, who was very patient and helpful throughout our drives. 5/5 would recommend to new drivers.

Fantastic experience: I had no idea before deciding which school to place my daughter,but my decision to place her with this school paid wellmy daughter had a very very good experience with Mr.Andrew ! She always came back smiling and with confidence,if you are looking for a good driving school for your kid ,this is the one specially if moving from another state and not knowing who to ask .I never leave a review,but I am this time just so it helps out others who are looking for a safe crew and confident people.

Fantastic experience: Good place to learn driving. Long lessons ( 2h 15min) for 5 weeks. Good location, easy to access. Instructors are very nice, and have a lot of bandwidth.

Negative experience: Pro: Material and teachers were just good. Con: 1 The DOL (written and driving) exam is NOT included in the package price.(found that out at the end, the hard way) 2 There are only 5-6 driving hours included in the package. (that is not a lot) Additional notes: For a first timer navigating through this, I found it very confusing. A lot of overwhelming information is sent out at one time through email. Basic information was missing (like there is a minimum of 6 months waiting (or driving) period after getting the driving permit before being able to get a driving license; even if all classes and tests are completed. Missing simple, step by step instructions. Something doesn't make sense here: After completing the included "unofficial" exam with 100% score, the teacher failed the student in the first 5 minutes of driving by disqualification in the official exam. While I might be wrong, it's easy to judge that they just want you to come back and looking after your money. Every official exam means more $$$ in their pocket. *by "official" I mean the DOL accepted exam Simple put, save your hard earned dollars, and have your child study the manual on their own, watch plenty of (up to date) youtube videos, and go driving with your child. It's something you have to do anyway. Don't expect to pay for the package and your child will be driving with a license after the classes are over

Positive experience: Boring, but just do it to get it done. This review was requested to leave the final class early, so take it with a pinch of salt (which is why there is an inflation of five star reviews that are a sentence or two long) The actual content of the in class portion is about driving rules, and a very basic overview and tips to be safe. While driving defensively is good, it doesn't actually teach you how to drive. That's on either the parent or guardian to do it, not the driving school per-se. In order to become proficient, it'll need to be done outside of school. Since it's a requirement for an underaged driver, just do it here. It's good enough, and will get the job done. Don't go to expect to have fun, expect to learn something while trying not to pull your hair out.

Fantastic experience: It all started when I was born. That day, I was driven to a hospital before I was born. We were in a car. As I grew up as a small child, I was always under the influence of how amazing driving a car would be. My father owned Volvo 740, non turbo, and it was automatic. It was a gem, and took him to work everyday. The car that supported our ability to hold our family's expenses together. It that the importance of a car? Yes. This is the importance of driving a car. This is the emotional empowerment, the social structure, the lifelong pleasure, of conducting an automobile. I am a changed person. My view of the world is different. The moment I stepped into Mr. Paul's driving class, I felt the disappearance of sorrow. Melancholy had subsided and my point of view made the flow of this long boring movie we call life, all ecstatic. I had my freedom given to me, with the duty, and responsibility gifted for me. This is the impact that such an exceptionally grand driver's course. If you want to step in a whole-new-world, I plead you to sign up for Defensive Driving Class in Woodinville. If you are lucky enough to be assigned to a class taught by Mr. Paul, you WILL find happiness in your journey to being a new driver on the road.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has just completed her driving education course at Defensive Driving School in Woodinville . The entire experience was great. I had to call and ask a few questions at the main office and they were always friendly and very helpful. Her teacher Mr. Hunt was a fantastic teacher. He was great at incorporating real life situations into his lessons to grab the attention of the students and made it easier to understand and learn. Monica was also a great driver instructor. Very patient and helpful. She remained calm and explained things very well. Thank you all very much. I would highly recommend DDS to anyone looking for a Drivers Education school.
