Fantastic experience: I can't thank Kinnie Driving School enough for the incredible experience I had, especially with my driving instructor, Steven! From start to finish, he was patient, flexible, and truly understanding. I faced some unexpected tire issues right before my scheduled test and found myself waiting in line at Discount Tire while I should have been at the testing center. To make matters worse, I desperately needed to use the bathroom! I kept Steven in the loop, even sending him a screenshot of my location, and he was so accommodating. The moment I arrived, he was ready to get to work with me. Despite my nerves, I completed the first test and, to my relief, passed! I then tackled the second test and am thrilled to report that just 45 minutes and $70 later, I walked away with my road test completion paper. Thank you, Jesus, and a huge shoutout to Instructor Steven for your patience and support throughout the process! I highly recommend Kinnie Driving School to anyone looking to get their license. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent place to take your road test! Steve is an amazing examiner! There are a lot of reviews here that say he comes across as rude, but I didn't feel that way at all, he's there to make sure you're prepared to be a licensed driver, not make small talk. I appreciate that he took the time to tell me what I made mistakes on, and how to correct them. I'm an anxious tester, and this testing experience I had made me feel much more at ease than I'm sure other places would have made me feel!

Fantastic experience: nothing bad to say about my experience! steve was on time, courteous, and helpful. he is honest about your mistakes and gives an apt judgement of your skills during the road test. i was able to schedule an appointment a week in advance in comparison to one month at other more expensive testing locations.

Fantastic experience: I was in a very tight schedule to find an available road test provider. I made like ten-ish calls. Steve responded very fast and scheduled me the same weekend. Steve was very kind and patient during the whole road test. He gave clear directions in the test and in the end, explained what I did wrong and what’s the correct way to do it. Much appreciated! Fantastic experience: I was very skeptical about coming here after reading the reviews however, I was told if my daughter know how to drive I shouldn't have a problem. I don't want her to pass if she doesn't know how to drive. We received a driving date in 1 day on a Sunday. Steve is a business man, he got down to business, no small talk what so ever, just told her what she needed to do, got back, signed the paper said take it to secretary of state. That was that.

Negative experience: My daughter did her drivers test here. He was so rude and degrading to her. He screamed at her, not just raised his voice screamed at her in the car for asking him to repeat something he had said. When we returned to the office he told her that she barely passed and when we asked what she had done wrong so she could correct it he told us of only 1 mistake. How is that barely passing? I was hoping that maybe he was just having a bad day but from the test of the reviews I guess that is just his personality.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place. For the people that say he’s rude he’s not there probably horrible drivers who failed. If he grabs the wheel it is probably because you were doing something wrong and dangerous just like any driving instructor that doesn’t want you to crash.

Fantastic experience: I brought my son here. He passed easily. I live in Pontiac. I had brought my wife to a testing facility close by. She failed and the instructor recommended she return the next day. This is a scam. She fails miserably and the guy wants her back the next day. Really? At $45 a pop it can bust your wallet. We went to Linnie and passed after one week. Watch out for the scam artists.

Fantastic experience: Laura is the best !! My son had a wonderful experience with her. She puts you at ease and explains everything clearly . My son had gone to Waterford driving school the first time around. The instructor Chuck practical had my son in tears . It was NIGHT and DAY working with Laura . I HIGHLY recommend her!

Negative experience: I went to take my test twice the first time I wasent ready my mom made me wait a long time until I could take it agin months. I went back to take it and he didn't remember me we got into the car and He told me what to do he wasent nice but we got throw it with no problem at the end he told me I didnt pass bec I wasn't ready

Fantastic experience: I took my drivers test here about a year ago, it was my second test, i failed my first one with a company who never passes people. I would recommend Kinnie driving school, although Steve isn't very conversational, and he is a bit rude, he passed me and I wasn't quite sure i deserved to be passed. (I turned left into a one way going right twice) i figured that would have failed me. However he didnt tell me if I passed I was very nervous I went back into his office and he smiled and congratulated me... overall, great place for me.

Negative experience: Don't do it, they are rude , I don't think they want to pass people, just want the money so you will reschedule, tester was an hour late rude!!! Never would recommend! !!

Fantastic experience: I took my road test in August 2015. The instructor was very kind and calm. The hardest part was parallel parking but I passed . I highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: The instructor was very mean and even tried to grab the steering wheel. He was always shouting and being rude. I did a perfect parallel parking but he shouted" your wheel is slightly turned to the right. He never gave any tips and was only interested in the money, he did not even tell me if I passed. I recommend alert driving school based on my friends experience. Keith always have my friend tips and my friend improved. He did not ask for money until my friend mentioned it. DO NOT RECOMMEND KINNIE DRIVING SCHOOL

Negative experience: Extremely rude, acted like a jerk right when I got into his office. Do not go here, he will waste your money. 100% reccomend going to Johnny's Roadtesting or Rubinos. These people are crooks.

Negative experience: He's look like he hates hes job, i came there with my mom and right when we walk in hes office the experience we had was... Alright at first he introduce himself ...then we get to the rude part if you didn't hear what he says or made on mistake he has a attitude. When you get in the car feels like he didn't want to be in there. )THE WHOLE RIDE WAS AWKWARD) he felt uncomfortable every ride somehow, and i always make my passenger feel comfortable. He said i barley pass...i wouldn't go here.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever! My son was made to feel very uncomfortable. The examiner was rude, sarcastic, unprofessional, and lacked any sensitivity to a teenage driver. I would never go back to this company and never recommend this place. My son passed the test, but the whole experience was very stressful because of the examiners attitude. My son was so nervous because of the tone of voice the examiner used. Stay away from this place.

Negative experience: He introduced himself, but at times he made rude comments that made me feel very nervous and uncomfortable. Needs to improve his customer service skills, especially if its a student's first time.

Fantastic experience: Steve was my tester,he was more than fair.this was my second road test.The 1st time i took the road test with a different company i was treated horribly and i was pretty much horrified of retaking the test even though im very comfortable driving.Honestly i was convinced i would have the same negative experience on the second try .......i was wrong! i recommend kinnie driver testing 100%. he was not mean or angry and seemed very professional.I was very nervous about my test but i passed and now i can finally move on with my life;)
