As a British person in America I was super nervous for driving and sticking to the right side of the road, she was so calm and easy going it put me at ease instantly, I feel like I couldn’t of passed without her ❤️ she’s such an asset to that driving school!

Fantastic experience: I actually just completed my corse not even an hour ago and I have to say ms Pam is probably then best BTW instructor she’s very patient, understanding ,and helpful she gives very detailed descriptions on what your suppose to do she made me feel right at home with her grandmotherly hospitality! Negative experience: When it came to doing the written test, the teacher i had was AMAZING. The teachers weren't really the best when it came to ACTUALLY riding in the car. Even when i asked for extra hours (A thing that the written test teachers said i COULD do when i get in the car with the instructors) instead of just 8 hours all together since i didn't feel comfortable in the car just yet. they looked at me like i was crazy and said i would be fine for the test. Fast forward now, i didn't do well on the test and I don't plan to go back to the school. not worth the time OR THE MONEY!

Fantastic experience: It was a great experience in the classroom and on the road ms Kelly was a great teacher getting to know the students and making the class very comfortable. MS Pam was the best she made driving fun and very stress free as if u was driving with a friend. All in all it’s a great experience and i recommend anyone to excel.

Fantastic experience: So far so good but so expensive (in general the cost is average compared to the other schools in the central Louisiana area) The owner and employees are very nice and considerate always polite and helpful ... happy we went with Excel Driving Academy and would definitely recommend to anyone considering the course.

Fantastic experience: Theoretical class put more time and emphasis on DUI which is, for me, very important. My behind-the-wheel instructor, Jessica, is patient and has calm demeanor which are some traits that you want from an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I took the class during mardi gras break, the class itself is laid back but they make sure you know everything you need to know for your written test. & my driving instructor was ms pam, she so sweet & she is going to make sure you understand what needs to be done in order to get your license .

Fantastic experience: I am not used to putting a comment on social media but for this kinda experience, I really wanted to brag about this wonderful instructor Ms. Pamela who helped me out to gain my confidence in driving. This was my first day of driving test with no driving experience at all. I am totally terrified on the road but because of her, I overcome this fear. Fantastic experience: I thought Excel driving academy was one of the best places. Im not from here and I needed a place to bring my son to get his license. I picked them because it was close to my work and it worked out in our schedules. The owner and staff were very professional but yet home to earth. I like that. It made me very comfortable and trusting to send my son for 38 hours.. Not to mention but my son liked his teaching instructor and his driving instructor Ms Pam... He told me how he like the conversations he had with her and how she said " ok let's go ahead and bagup"!! I would recommend this academy to anyone. They are the best in my eyes and this isn't even Im hometown.. Thank Ya'l so much for teaching my son better than I could!!!!

Fantastic experience: Easy, easy, easy & WHEWWWW I did NOT know how to drive! & now I’m ready to hit the road I have one more day of driving w/ my instructor and then my road skills test, but so far so great.. my instructor Ms. Jessica is the best! Mrs. Burrell is so nice and everybody is welcoming. I should be done in a week, so altogether it took me a month. Don’t believe what everyone says lol. Go see for yourself.

Positive experience: Is not forthcoming with need to know information. Makes changes to times and dates without confirmation or knowledge of the person responsible for the underage drivers attendance...Updated. Did try to correct issue with timing.

Fantastic experience: I come from Vietnam, I have only been to the US for 2 months, English is my second language, so I am nervous when I have to study in English but Mrs. Burrell has helped me a lot in my studies,make easier to understand, explain, patient .And thank you Ms.Jessica for guiding me for 8 hours driving, helping me to drive safely and confidently. Negative experience: Do not i repeat do not use this place for your driving needs ! They are unprofessional, never answers the phone, and they take months to schedule you after requesting a deposit without a refund option.

Fantastic experience: This school is phenomenal! The instructors are not only professional and knowledgeable, but extremely pleasant and even more patient! The in-class instruction was presented in a way that made my child eager to learn while enjoying the process. Excel was also very accommodating to our schedule and situation when scheduling my child’s road skills instruction.
