Negative experience: Horrible don’t even go here id give a zero if that was an option. They steal your money. You pay for service they don’t even complete.

Negative experience: I went here to do my driving test after driving in my home country with a license since 2006. My car in my home country is a stick shift, so you know I am that girl! I had a Florida license while I worked in The US and then I went home for three years. I am currently studying in Mass. and I needed a license, but, because I don’t have a vehicle I decided to use the Agawam Auto School only because they provide a vehicle and a sponsor ( I don’t know anyone here I am just 4 months in…) Here goes: 1. The test was cancelled twice before I could get an actual date. Someone confirmed the payment with my name spelt wrong, I had to draw his attention to the correct spelling. 2. On the day of the test I noticed that ALL the students who took driving lessons with the school passed, for those of us who were not students we failed! (A theory I am willing to test). There is also a section on the paper that you sign up which has a check-box for “student” or “non-student” (language close or similar to this extent). 3. The theory is they use the non-students as “scape goats” to gain “credibility”. All their students passed, while the non-students failed. I guess the RMV would get suspicious if we all passed! 4. My test was scheduled for 9:35 a.m. and I got in the driver’s seat at 10:15 am. I wonder what would happen if I showed up late? 5. $40 down payment to secure the date, $100 on the day of the road test in cash only, $30 for a practice test that was optional but highly recommended. 6. I am a researcher ‍ Stay tuned for my follow-up!

Fantastic experience: My son had a great experience at Agawam Auto School. Being able to take the on road test through the auto school was great! Also being able to practice the test with an instructor before the actual test was really helpful.

Negative experience: Worst driving school around save your money he was late he told me we will take a practice test and never did go somewhere else also told me he will teach me everything and never did anything don’t go there pick another school trust me I wouldn’t recommend this driving school to anyone all they want is your money they don’t wanna help you they get zero stars from me

Fantastic experience: Great school!! We learned the hard way with our older kids that not all driving schools have kind owners (Meadows). The Smiths are kind people. The rest of our kids will be going to Agawam.

Fantastic experience: I totally recommend this school. I went there for some time I did fail 3 times but my instructor didn’t gave up on me. Until I finally got it. They are so amazing and friendly. They showed me nothing but support all the way. So I want to say thank you guys. It’s totally worth it

Negative experience: I never leave bad reviews but this place has horrible communication. My son and I were blind figuring things out for ourself. We scheduled our own license test that was supposed to be schedule by the school. Because of this my son doesn’t have his certificate, nor can we get a hold of anyone to help get it. We were trying to get a discount on Insurance which was half the reason for going to driving school. My son said the driving instructor was sleeping during the driving lessons. Don’t waste your money and pick another school. They clearly do not have the time or organization to handle any customers .

Negative experience: Please be wary before paying for this driving school. Their office never has anyone there. Phones not being answered. I purchases a program and it's been a month of no response to my reaching out to them. Trying to get a refund, but it's impossible due to not being able to actually reach someone. Thought I'd share to save someone a headache.

Positive experience: My son went here. He was really impressed with the school. He said the staff was very friendly and was there for you. He had no problems getting his license. He said they were very professional. Said he would highly recommend the school to anyone. From my dealings with them I would have to say my son is very accurate with what he says. Thank you to Mr. Smith for making this a very pleasant and stress fre experience.

Fantastic experience: I am on my second driver going through AA. Their on roads are great. Both of my kids are good drivers and were very independent in all of their easy scheduling.

Negative experience: Horrible service since I’ve contacted these people. Appointments rushed and or taken out of order. Racist driving instructors made me feel in adequate and were very rude in particular to me and my friend who drove me to take the road test in the first place. Do NOT take your road test at this location. They tested after hours in the DARK and will refuse to reschedule you even if it is their fault. You will not being taken into their consideration as I wasted both my time and my friends time here driving here was not good at all.

Negative experience: I made a $30 down payment for the “license tests for non full course driving school students” on 7/24/2022. I selected to be scheduled for the 8/20/2022 driving test. On 8/6/2022, I was contacted by someone in the company via text to provide a copy of my permit. After I provided this info, I was informed that I would receive an email confirmation of the scheduled test. I NEVER received this email confirmation. On 8/10/2022, I was informed that “due to a shortage of examiners, tests were moved to 9/3/2022.” Furthermore, I was informed on 8/11/2022 that I would receive an email confirmation for this new scheduled test. And again I NEVER received an email confirmation despite asking for it on multiple occasions. Every time I’ve attempted to ask for the email confirmation, I am told that it would be done but it never gets sent. On 9/1/2022, I reached out again to confirm that the scheduled test for 9/3/2022 would still be happening. YET AGAIN, I was informed that examiners we’re not able to get tests for 9/3/2022. Again, this employee is telling me that I can be scheduled for 9/7/2022, however this entire experience has been inconvenient, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Why are we given a scheduled date and time if “examiners are unable to give tests in the first place?” This place never return your calls or text messages!!!! They have poor customer service and are not professional. Save your money, time, and effort and go elsewhere!!

Negative experience: We struggled to receive any information about the class and did not receive a zoom link until the morning of the class. One day was cancelled for some reason with sort notice. No one is at the place of business and calls are never answered. The parent's class was cancelled, and no responses were ever provided for a reschedule. My son took the class months ago and we have been unable to get the notice that he passed or took the class. The owner continues to respond to text saying he is working on it, but the RMV has no record of him taking the class.

Negative experience: Took online driver course, info never turned into the registry! Can not contact, will not return calls ! BEWARE

Fantastic experience: Allows you to cut the DMV line and avoid the DMV hassle. In one month, I was in and out. Plus, great conversation in the car with the instructor crew.

Negative experience: I had a parent class scheduled for 7/29 and just got the zoom link hello it's August. You call the place and always get the answering machine!! I text Gerald on 7/29 and he actually texted back staying internet issues no parent class will reach out to reschedule I'm still waiting!!! Driving school isn't cheap all the money I paid to be treated like this is insane. Now my son is delayed with on roads and getting his license.

Negative experience: The communication is unbelievably poor. After paying for the class in full online, Trying to schedule the appointment took forever as they never answer the phone and only communicate through text. The appointment then got canceled and I was told I would get a refund, after 3 months of texting, calling and emailing and being told the refund was being issued, I had to contact my credit card company to finally get the refund. Then randomly I received an email scheduling someone else’s appointment, along with their bill. It’s clear no one there knows what’s going on

Negative experience: I asked for certification for completed classes and they blatantly lied about how long it would take and refused to pick up the phone during office hours. extremely bad and poor quality education

Negative experience: Couldn't even get an appointment. I tried contacting respectfully over and over. I even let them know they were being inconsiderate of my time. This place doesn't care about their customers.

Negative experience: My experience with agawam auto school was by far the worst! The amount of unprofessionalism was unbelievable the lack of communication and empathy was ridiculous I paid for the full course all the way back in September only to received one driving lesson after that lesson I was told I’d be contacted to schedule another which never happened so I reached out myself and I was ignored for weeks ! They’re just now sending out a refund check which isn’t the full amount I paid because I attended the bs zoom classes I do not recommend anyone attending this school they’re so unorganized and there’s no scheduling system for driving lessons they also do not disclose on their website that the classes are on zoom.

Fantastic experience: Very patient with teaching me how to drive. He told me instantly I was prepared. I was confident going in to my test. I did one lesson and scheduled my road test for two weeks after. Nailed everything the first time as asked by the instructor. Therefore, I passed on my first road test! Thank you for everything Gerald and giving me the confidence to drive!

Negative experience: So unorganized waste of money do not go there

Fantastic experience: I took my driving classes/ rmv test here is 2013 and Mr. Smith also taught my entire family in fact my family members were in Mr. Smiths first class in 1981! Things may have changed but Mr. Smith is a good instructor who takes is business seriously. All the stories he tells are great also

Negative experience: I didn't even get the chance to go here because they would not return any calls or emails. My mom had questions and would call only to get responses from a guy named Boo once every 8 days and countless calls. A friend of mine went here and said she had the same problems the entire duration of her lessons. She also said the instructor fell asleep many times during her driving instructions. On top of this, they charge outrageous prices for 30-40 minute sessions! In one of the few times my mom got ahold of them he said he charges $65 for one half hour session. There is another auto school down the road from them, they're much better at communicating and have better prices for hour long instructions. Do not waste your money here.

Negative experience: If I could give this place a zero I would but I will settle for one star. DO NOT GO TO THIS DRIVING SCHOOL. It is a waste of time. There is absolutely NO communication on their end. They mess up the links to the online classes and then when you need to make them up you can't because you can't get a hold of anyone. Trust me...go elsewhere for your driving courses because this place is one big headache and I have no clue how they stay in business.

Negative experience: worst driver instructor i ever had. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! first he goes to sleep while you are driving, then he will tell you that you are ready to take a test and you are not. Also he never returned my calls but sent me the document paper for my road test. i only went here because my sibling went here but he stop going to them due to this. i would not reccomend here at all. i wish i could give them no stars with they scamming behind

Fantastic experience: Never seen any driving school like this, amazing!. I recommand everyone to go!

Negative experience: Only allows you to pay in cash and they had me paying $60 for a 30-40 minute lesson. The driver fell asleep during my lessons multiple times. Didn’t listen to me when I told him a specific rmv. Never communicated with me for extra charges and when I called the rmv to schedule a different test I was unable to because I owed money he had told me he was paying for. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: So unPROFESSIONAL. , I paid for 2 lessons and only did 1. The next day I was suppose to get my second lesson, the Driver Blew me off for 3 days straight. Then he knows I'm still waiting for him to show up. He sends a text he will be here in minutes. Then another text he's in traffic, the final text was they would refund my money in a check . well to me this looks like they don't want to come teach me to drive. What an unPROFESSIONAL experience. Shame on there school.

Negative experience: signed up for the 150+100 plan i.e. 3 lessons and the test at the school location in their car with the provided sponsor. They barely did 2 of my lessons and what's worse is that they didn't prepare me for what would be asked in the test. So i failed the first time. They offered a repeat prep class before the alternate road test but didn't provide that either. By now i didnt need lessons and I cleared the second road test . Suggest pre-booking all appointments with stress on preparation for the test.

Negative experience: Very IRRESPONSIBLE, over 18 instructor wouldn't return phone calls. I would have to call repeated times just to get a response and schedule the next lesson. This guy is quick to take payment but not doing his part. If your looking for a professional well handled driving school experience, I would not recommend this driving school. If you don't mind that the instructor is on his phone and not "instructing" then this will work for you.

Fantastic experience: I'm happy I found them! I needed to rent a car and find a sponsor for my road test in Springfield's RMV (MA). I'm not living in that town, but that was the only RMV with available appointments for the road test without having to wait more than 4 weeks. So I took the bus to Springfield, and Gerald, the instructor, even picked me up from the bus terminal. I also took an hour of class to become confortable with the car and to practice a bit. He is kind, patient, and cares about the details. All his advices were useful. And finally I passed!

Fantastic experience: Great people; was real helpful I was stuck in a bind needed to get through the course and instructions quickly. Did it all within a couple weeks. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much
