Fantastic experience: I'm one of the few people that has been there before you opened up. I painted the whole interior of the building.

Positive experience: My daughter (age 18) just completed the Drivers Ed for adults. Paying $500 for the in class portion and 6 hours of driving with an instructor broken down into three sessions that are two hours each. The instructor for my daughter ended each class early. The first driving class, instructor ended 40 min. early. The second class, instructor ended 20 min. early. The third and last class, instructor ended 15 min. early. I realize my daughter is having a hard time grasping driving and it's probably stressful but I paid a lot for this and am not happy that the full six hours of driving instruction wasn't honored. Follow up - National Safety Council did rectify the lost time by providing an additional 2 hours of driving for my daughter with another instructor. This proved very beneficial for my daughter and I appreciate the action taken to make this right.

Fantastic experience: I found the course to be very educational and extremely informative about how prevent accidents and teach you how to be a safe driver I took the course in the past and I said it excellent learning experience.

Negative experience: Obnoxious undermined take your money and lie right to your face

Fantastic experience: Enrolled my 4th and final kid in driving lessons here, each time gets better than the last. They actually went over and above the call of duty after I messed up my scheduling. They took away all of the stress and made it all work. They even found my kids sweatshirt and went through the process of elimination and got it to us, the right kid. Amazing staff, seriously the best experience. They did this in the middle of construction and havoc. So incredibly impressed. THANK YOU for being a great part of an important chapter in a kids life. He learned so much.

Fantastic experience: I am a long time Safety Industry professional, in both the military and private sectors, and I find the Nebraska Chapter of the Safety Council to be very good instructors in the area of safety. Well thought out curriculum, excellent instructors, you can't go wrong with Nebraska Safety Council instruction.

Fantastic experience: Signing up for classes was simple. Numerous options available. Both of our young driver’s felt comfortable with their driving instructors. Appreciate that the written test and driving test are done during class so the driver’s license is ready to be mailed when they turn 16.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved the course here! I had both my children (now 16 & 18) take the class and I feel they learned what they needed to excel in their "new-driver" role (aside from what I could teach them). The kids really liked their instructors. You can do either "in person" or virtual for the class time portion and then 3 -4 days/nights of driving , where they make the kids check the tire pressure, oil levels, and adjusts the mirrors, etc EVERYTIME! And they take them all over the city, in all types of traffic. We did the "in class" because my kids get enough screen time . Scheduling was simple with a great selection of either days/nights or weekdays/weekends. I also loved that, once the course was completed and they passed, they just had to run up to the DMV, turn in their paperwork, and they got their Driver's license! I would definitely recommend their program to anyone.

Fantastic experience: The talented trainers like Ron, Don, and Gus are one of the many perks to taking classes with the Nebraska Chapter. I am thankful to have them during times of council. They are ever growing and counite to bring more talent to their chapter.

Fantastic experience: Yay they taught me how to drive. They also made sure I was safe in the vehicle and they were calm about everything they made the learning process very easy and fairly quick. 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: NSC Nebraska Chapter is always having classes to help improve the safety field and help where is needed. The staff go out of their way to always be helpful when needed or you have a question you need help with.

Fantastic experience: Our Webelos from Pack 461 recently earned our First Responder Badge by attending a First Aid session at the NSC. Linda did a wonderful job with a bunch of wiggly 4th graders! Thank you!

Negative experience: the non binary semi female mostly male phone operators are very rude sorry i dent want to misgender any cisgender people

Positive experience: My 15 year old loved the class teacher and thought he was great. The driving instructor, not as much. He said she HAD to do the “push and pull” steering method instead of hand over hand and that he would dock her points if she did the latter. He was also 20 mins late to her final driving time (which her 3 times never lasted the whole 2 hours). Still an overall good experience and would send the next child there when it’s time.

Fantastic experience: Took the POSH class in June of 21. Knowledgeable and Professional. The instructor was able to get the class talking and also keep it on track. I also left with a lot of good resources, and expanded my network of safety professionals. Thanks NSC Nebraska TEAM!

Positive experience: Both of my kids completed the drivers education and enjoyed the instructor and they had a great experience. The only reason I did not give you five stars is because of lack of communication on the coordinator’s part. I needed to reschedule my sons lessons and driving instruction and I had to leave several messages and emails before I would get a response back.

Fantastic experience: My daughter completed drivers education there. She took the class and due to anxiety and the road conditions she did not pass the first driving test. We were able to get a second test scheduled, she had the same instructor both times, as inconvenient as it was I was so happy that she had that experience. The second time around she passed and I feel that has made her a much better driver. She said she learned a lot. I am so happy that they did not just pass her as part of the program. It was so nice for her to learn from someone else who was able to give her a little different perspective.

Fantastic experience: Sent here for safety training for work. Everyone was helpful and the facilitator was energetic and kept the course moving. Will recommend others to take their First Aid and CPR training here.

Fantastic experience: Sharing for my husband. The staff at NSC, Nebraska are some of the best in the nation. Safety training is exceptional and the passion they have for students and safety of this country are the best I've seen in my 40 year working career.

Fantastic experience: My 12 year old took the babysitting certification class with a friend and loved it. She said the instructor was very nice and she feels much more comfortable with CPR/First Aid since her training.

Positive experience: Took an OSHA course for my job in Human Resources. Was thorough and the instructor was knowledgeable and interesting. I recommend the 8 hour course for HR people who have a safety component to their job. Lots of hand outs were included.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend National Safety Council, NE for Safety training. The staff is very accommodating for my training needs and education. I have had the opportunity to observe presentations by Safety leaders with the Breakfast series. The presentations have left me motivated and focused on helping our employees be safe at work and at home.

Fantastic experience: Wide variety of useful courses with very professional, friendly, and knowledgable staff. I've taken courses on site and really enjoyed them. I even took one of their virtual courses and it was still phenomenal and very interactive.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed attending the training session, and the fellow students had made it exceptional with their stories and scenarios on safety. It was an open and instructive environment, I wouldn't change a thing!

Fantastic experience: My son recently completed driver's ed through the Nebraska Safety Council. Their driving instructors did a great job of teaching him to drive. It is so nice to have his driving test done well in advance of his birthday. So much better than taking the test at the DMV!

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience from the student perspective. The instructors did their best to make the boring class material they have to teach engaging, and I felt the feedback I was given during driving sessions was very helpful. I never felt yelled at for doing something wrong, but rather given constructive feedback on how to do better next time. I actually chose this place because my boyfriend had a good experience here and recommended it to me! Now I would recommend it to others as well :).

Negative experience: Boring videos, followed by incompetence staff. Do not waste your money on these people. They do not do there jobs and they do not follow through with anything they promise.

Negative experience: This driving school is so unprofessional. My husband and I are keep on calling them about my driving test with them.Until now we never received any words from them.

Negative experience: Employees on the phone are unprofessional. I'm trying to explain about things and she interrupts me and I asked her not to. I tried explaining again and she repeats herself. I give her my number but she interrupts me again. This place is unprofessional. They just like to be rude. I've never been interrupted so many times before. Your guys are just rude.

Fantastic experience: The teachers and instructors are very down to earth and supportive. I'm glad I went here to learn how to drive. I highly recommend future drivers to go through them.

Positive experience: Great Place for Safety Training. Instructors know the material, and are prepared, Price is up there, but members get a bit of a cut off the final price, and State grants help out.

Negative experience: Took an additional week and a half to mail professional license I needed for work, and then when they mailed it, they put a completely different mailing adress on it, causing an additional weeklong delay.

Negative experience: Daughter took class and passed written test but not driving. She told me that the teacher kept yelling at them when they did something wrong which made them more nervous. Now I have to pay 55 dollars for her to take it again after I taught her. Not exactly what I was expecting!

Negative experience: I do a search for Omaha or Nebraska Safety Council and all I get is sites to connect to for the National Safety Council <<>> so I am giving up - defeated.

Fantastic experience: I recently attended the 10 hour OSHA class. Our company sent a handful of us to the class under voluntary circumstances. I truly believed I was in for a day and a half of torture. The truth is, our instructor did a fantastic job. He was very knowledgeable, truly talented, well spoken and very professional. I feel the need to point this out simply because most of us have been through even a 60 or 90 minute class that was difficult to get through. He used multiple teaching techniques that clearly touched on all of our learning styles. The class was interactive and well put together. I highly recommend this class to any company or individual that has the desire or need for a general safety class. And for the record, our instructor was Stash. He represented the Safety Council well.

Fantastic experience: My soon took the Driver's Ed class and was able to get his driver's license without taking the driving test at the DMV. The class gave him more confidence and taught him some things that I didn't think to mention.

Fantastic experience: I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to National safety council, particularly to Mr. Ron Malmquist, who has been my driving instructor, during my Adult Driver Training Program .My DMV driving test has been successful, in the first attempt . I find the program very comprehensive and well packaged and Mr. Ron covered many of the important aspects during the driving sessions. Narayan Subramanian (NS)

Negative experience: Employees are not helpful when inquiring about classes at all.

Fantastic experience: I'm really glad that i decided to take the eight hour Defensive Driving course/class for a two point reduction on my driver's license. I took the class that is offered on Saturday for eight straight hours as opposed to the class offered during the week which is broken up into three shorter classes. It was so much more convenient because of my unpredictable work schedule Monday through Friday. They also offer other useful courses such as beginner and returning motorcycle operator; (motorcycle provided for beginner's course) and even other helpful courses on adult and infant CPR certification and court ordered S.T.O.P. and S.T.A.R. classes to reinstate suspended driver's licenses or to eliminate infractions on a person's driving record such as speeding tickets and other more serious infractions.

Positive experience: My experience here was great, but it could have been better.

Negative experience: This is the worst driving experience I've ever had. It was much more confusing then it had to be. There was many confusing things like hand to hand steering which I've never seen any one use. And they way they make you adjust the mirrors is preposterous. Very disappointed, going on the interstate was very scary I had no idea what I was doing and very little instruction was provided.

Negative experience: They don't even deserve one star. They took all of my money and I still don't have my license. I think they are running a scam. I had 3 different instructors with them. Each instructor that I had wanted me to pay them under the table to get extra lessons on the side. They would not teach me everything I needed to know. They would want me to test too soon. I think they did this so I would have to pay more money. I have spent so much money on NSC and still do not have my license. All the instructors do is yell, confuse you, and take all of your money. They are not worth it.
