Fantastic experience: I am glad this course is required for new drivers but with that being said I felt overwhelmed at first trying to navigate this new adventure as a 1st time mom. Once I found Anshor, everything fell into place and I felt the stress start to ease off my shoulders. Kris, was everything and more and I am so thankful that my daughter had the opportunity to have her as her driving instructor. Patient and kind which made my daughter confident and comfortable. I could not ask for anyone better! Thank you :)

Tim's law enforcement background and his passion to ensure all of his students stay safe, abide by the laws of the road, and in life shows through his course. He is well educated, friendly, understanding, and patient with all his students.

Negative experience: We wanted to send our son to a driving school because he has some learning difficulties from being a micro preemie and needs learning support vs. just reading on his own. We couldn't find the information we needed on the website and we tried to call a few times but could never get through, so my husband and I had to drive over there to talk to them. We were told by the manager Kris Klemmer that they would not teach our son because he might be inappropriate with younger girls in the class. What the hell? They don't even know him and asked NO questions, just said they wouldn't allow him to be in a class. Strange! Very small minds who are CLUELESS about how to treat people. Anyway, Mountain State had NO problem having him take lessons there. Avoid this place unless you enjoy poor service!

Fantastic experience: My daughter took her driving (behind the wheel) test here after having her learner’s permit for a year. We made her appointment online and paid the $80 upfront to avoid having to walk in. We arrived 10minutes early with zero problems. Highly recommend booking online to avoid scheduling issues

Fantastic experience: I tested with Lisa in Rocky Ford. Lisa responded to my phone call asap 3/12/24. I got a appointment for a 3/15/24.Lisa sent me messages letting me know that she had earlier time available. Lisa was dressed nice and was very polite, respectful, and professional. I recommend her to anyone. I passed my test. I even went early and she was ready...

Negative experience: The facility did not close till 3:00 p.m.. they said when we walked in that as long as we walked in before 12:00 noon that we had a shot of walking in. The time was 11:32 a.m. and they still told us that we had to come back another day this was not great customer service and I don't appreciate this facility at all. They seemed very discriminatory. And this was our first time walking into the building. This was the Greeley Colorado location.

Negative experience: Receptionist and driving test woman are prejudice. They didn't want to test few minutes after the appointment and they didn't want us to wait in the reception. Their demeanor is not polite.

Negative experience: Apparently, their driving test is more important than a student's education. And the wrong phone numbers are on their website, so calling to let them know you're running late is not an option. I would not recommend them

Negative experience: I have been trying to get my license for months, I have scheduled all 3 of my driving times multiple times and I was canceled on for all 3 times. The cancellation was the morning of, every time. But if I cancel the morning of, I have to pay 30 dollars. I just want to get my license, it shouldn’t be this hard and I keep having to delay it because of anshor.

Fantastic experience: Let me first say Mr. K Smith is a kind informative instructor. I felt very terrified and nervous taking my driving test but Mr. K helped calm me down and stay relaxed. He told me the steps of the driving lesson making sure I understood. During the driving test I followed each direction making sure safety was key as well, It was fun. I recommend going here either for classes or driving, instructors are really nice. Best experience I had, don't be afraid just take the giant leap I believe in you.

They took my fears of driving and made it fun and feel super safe which really helped me pass my test! I cannot tell you how wonderful this place truly is! It’s super clean really friendly the drive instructor gives clear as day instruction(s) and over all if I could give 1000+ stars to this place I would! Hands down amazing!

Negative experience: The instructor for the second time was an hour late for the driving portion. So we left. This is very unprofessional and there was no communication to say they were going to be late. Had I known this to be the case I would've went somewhere else for my child.

Negative experience: Eric McCray employee Anshor driving school in Rocky Ford CO Nov 14 2020, made an automatic fail for my wife citing “evasive action caused by applicant”. She made a safe right turn onto a 30 mph road, and accelerated to 9mph, according to the proctor, and he claims a car approaching from the rear was “forced to make an evasive move” by applying brakes. The road was a two lane and the other car could have changed lanes. Even if the claim was accurate, I don’t think a speed reduction from 30 to 9mph is dangerous. Proctor stated he makes the decision and that’s the end of it. Proctor was rude and reluctant to show the driving report. Proctor offered no receipt of the $75 payment, and ended up writing a receipt on a torn piece of yellow legal paper. The initial speed of the approaching car wasn’t known it could have been 35 to 45. Local governments can’t do driving tests because of Covid and the driving schools are failing people left and right, and immediately ask the applicant to schedule another test for another $75 charge.

Fantastic experience: They were on time, fast process, very nice and fair priced for a 3rd party. DMV accepted paperwork they gave me no problem. Easy to find, right next to a Baskin Robbins so ice cream after was great. Most everything is done online and I was able to get a written and drive test scheduled within a week of each other. DMV was gonna make me wait a whole month for those tests so I highly recommend them for their services. Good luck!

Negative experience: Will not go to Anshor again or recommend any of my friends or anyone any general. The person I went on the drive with said I was driving over the limit I can assure I never went past the speed limit. They wanted me to reschedule for the following day, I rather take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Anshor is the place to bring your kids that are needing a Permit and driving lessons. Both of my kids have gone through their program and it's fantastic. The class is great and so are the individual instructors. Kris the office manager is super fast at responding to emails as well.

Negative experience: Got behind one of their drivers this evening..............hope they aren't teaching their students to drive that way! Plus if you're going to drive the company car maybe you should think about how you're driving........ especially if you work for a driving school. Just saying

Negative experience: Was riding bicycle in local park parking lot yesterday following well behind Anshor car driven by instructor. Car abruptly braked and turned into parking space without signaling or checking mirror. Almost was forced to dump bike to avoid collision. When I mentioned to instructor that he almost hit me he stated he did not see me and was sorry. I pointed out that had he been using proper defensive driving including appropriate use of signals this would not have put me in jeopardy. He did not acknowledge he should use better driving skills. I would be extremely reluctant to select a driving school where the instructors are not safe courteous defensive drivers. I will avoid any car with great length that Carrie's the Anshor banner.

Negative experience: So I wanted to do my road test for my motorcycle endorsement and the DMV had this school listed as the only one that tests for it in Greeley. After calling numerous times during business hours and no answer, and leaving multiple messages with no response whatsoever, I finally got ahold of a real person. She tells me that they no longer do the motorcycle road test but the owner might be able to do it sometime later that week. So I tell her im available anytime. She tells me she will call back as soon ad she speaks to the owner. Two days pass with no return call, so I decide to call back. Back to square 1. I called 3 more times during business hours with now answer before I gave up. What a waste of time this place is. Would not recommend giving them any business as they obviously do not value their prospective customers. Would give ZERO stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: We have loved our experience with Anshor! This is the place to go if you are looking for a driving school! My daughter's driving instructor, Kris Klemmer, is top notch! She helps the driver feel at ease while coaching them to be the best driver possible. :-)
