Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my experience here at the training center with Gentry and Mike. I was able to take the information given by the instructors and curtail it to my way of understanding and was permitted to do so, granted I still covered all the points of inspection of the truck. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to get a CDL-A to register for courses here at DRC in Elizabethtown.

Fantastic experience: Well. What I I the most is being just two of us. So we could take all the advantages possible of Gentry and Mike ..!!! Fantastic experience: The school is great for those who want to put in the work. But my teacher Mr. Gentry Taylor is a awesome guy, he was with me every step of the way for everything, I mean everything, if there was something he see you need attention on he give you that a attention, he would not let you give up, he is a patient man. And I thank God for Gentry Taylor. Mike is cool as well as an instructor. But the school will not give you your CDL certificate if you got a loan through Liberty finance. I was told that Liberty finance keeps my certificate until the loan is paid. But once again, I think Mr. Gentry Taylor for everything

Fantastic experience: The best school with the best instructors that will make sure you ready to pass I had a great time there I learned a lot and felt super prepared for my permit and my final state exam I want to give a huge thank you to the two instructors Gentry and Climon. 10/10 recommend this school

Positive experience: The 1st week of school is brutal, not going to lie. You’re stuck in a classroom watching/listening to PowerPoint lectures on a computer webcam, that is little to no help at all while preparing you for your CDL permit. I learned more just reading the state CDL manual, and also using the app CDL Prep than I did the actual classroom material. Honestly, after the 3rd day I was questioning my decision on why I spent X amount of money to join the school/program. Classroom aside, once you get to the yard, I can’t say enough about Gentry (instructor) top notch guy, passionate, knowledgeable, great instructor, a Class A individual through and through. Gentry taught/teaches in a way every individual in class can comprehend and understand and really does want you to succeed in every aspect of the program. Clemon (instructor) came in half way through my program/school hours, though you could tell he was all business from the start. Solid individual, straight forward, motivated to teach, and knowledgeable. Both instructors had different ways of teaching, but both ways set you up to succeed in the industry. Overall, if you pay attention, soak in the knowledge presented to you by both instructors and take the program seriously, you’ll achieve the reason for joining the program/school and get your CDL.

Fantastic experience: Gentry and Amber are exceptional and top tear. I didn’t ever see management or someone in charge come by to see if we were good or how we liked the school. The place needs to be renovated. It feels dull, no color. All in all not a bad school you learn everything you need to know but call other schools and weigh your options.

Fantastic experience: Gentry, Ernie are the instructors and they are excellent guys and they will definitely take their time with you to make sure you understand it and know what you are doing. I will definitely miss “Santa” and the “Lead instructor” but definitely a friendly and professional atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I did my research when deciding on which school to go to, and I'm glad that I chose this one. Both instructors were knowledgeable. I would highly recommend going in and talking to somebody if you're having doubts. I enjoy going to school every day and learning real-world truck driving.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to come to school, very intelligent when it comes to driving. Very smooth transition into truck driving and the instructors are awesome. It is a little school but the training you will receive will definitely prepare you for the real world. They will make sure you are ready for any situation, They wouldn't put you In any situation they don't think you wouldn't get through. I would recommend to anyone and everyone that want to get into the trucking industry. Plus the Frozen Yogurt out here is amazing!!!

Gentry and Ernie care about all the students and take your success to heart. They’re a team and work very hard to help you accomplish your dreams. Everyone is hands on and they make it fun to learn. Fantastic experience: Coming to this school was one of my best life decisions I’m glad it showed when I got in, the staff was very supportive and helpful at all times their goals are for each student to complete and earn their CDL license… Gentry and Ernie are amazing instructors with all the patience and positivity every day, for sure it helped me finish, I went from not knowing what I was doing or not pronouncing the words right for the truck parts to earning my CDL first try (one and done babyyy) I’m super proud of my self and thankful for them.

Fantastic experience: Attending this school was by far the best choice I made this year!! I had so much fun and learned so much in just a few weeks. The instructors really do such an amazing job teaching and preparing you to succeed. All you have to do is come in ready to listen and be eager to learn and they will not let you fail. Fantastic experience: I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else for CDL training, the instructors were hands on and taught us everything we needed to know. Gentry is Pappaw behind the wheel. Listen to him and you'll get your CDL.

Fantastic experience: I just finished up my training at the school! One n done! Thanks to my great instructor Jason Newhouse at Elizabethtown school, he had his hands full with more than one group of students and did excellent. Definitely held down the fort with being down one instructor, gives great advice for students both with regards to training and advice for once they hit the road in their own truck! Only wish they had a manual truck, will definitely be back soon to remove that restriction, hoping the school has a manual on site! Amber is also a great asset to the school! Fantastic experience: The school and instructors are very accommodating. They made special arrangements for me to get the automatic restriction lifted by bringing a manual truck all the way to Elizabethtown from Paducah for me to practice and test in.

Fantastic experience: The school helped me from the time I walked through the door to the time I left. I was actually able to have hands on experience learn everything about the tractor and trailer inside and out. It’s more than jus learning how to drive the truck itself. My instructors Harry and Jason provided 60+ years of knowledge and experience that helped me understand what I didn’t know and guided me until I was able to comprehend what was being taught as well as show me first hand. There’s a reason this school is number 1 in the country for passing your Class A CDL test on the first try because they teach you what you need to know from beginning to end . And I’m proof it can get done on the first try ! Forever grateful to have those guys as my instructor.

Fantastic experience: There were a couple of different driving schools to get a Class A CDL and CDL Training Services seemed like the best choice. I was unsure and nervous at first but the instructors there were cool and had a great planned laid out to help me get my license within the minimum time possible. The instructors created a very smooth and relaxed learning environment which helped me pass their evaluations and tests with consistent 100% results. By the time I had all my hours I was able to get my license with ease. Great school, great people, great experience!

Negative experience: Wouldn’t be so bad if they’d call my husband back about if he got a sponsor or not since his application was approved. He’s called almost every day and gets no answer, no messages back, nothing. Pretty frustrating because he’s really excited to start this journey.

Fantastic experience: Harry and Jason are by far the best trainers I've ever had. They have over 50 years truck driver experience and if they can't train you to be a truck driver no one can. Fantastic experience: First of all the training was a great learning experience I’ve learned a lot from my instructors. I started with knowledge about how to drive a semi. My instructors was patient with me and taught me everything I needed to know for my state exam and for the road to come. Harry and Jason are great instructors and with 70 plus years of experience between the both of them they knew a lot about driving on the road and what to expect on the road. I own a lot to them for all my training. Well thank you Harry and Jason for all work you’ve done for me and getting me ready for road.

Fantastic experience: Harry and Jason are well round instructors, they will work well with you the only part of the training I didn’t like was E Nuggets but if you do it over time especially on the weekend you’ll fly threw it. It was a great experience and it’s a better experience doing it with a big class. I truly appreciate these guys that helped me start my trucking journey

Fantastic experience: When I first started the class I couldn't back up a truck. Now after my 3 weeks I am confident on backing up and driving the truck perfectly. I passed the cdl exam with flying colors. You will have no problems with learning to operate a truck or trailer with Harry and Jason as instructors. They will make sure of it as they did to me. Companies will come by as well to hook you up with a job which is good as well.

Fantastic experience: The instructor's were very knowledgeable and will train you to do your job well. When I first started my training I didn't know where I was going to work after I was done. They brought in people from different companies. I had a job waiting on me to finish my classes. I'm sure glad Harry and Jason were my instructors. Fantastic experience: Great School. Good People.

Positive experience: You'll get your cdl but there's a lot of stuff you wont learn until you're out on the road like alley docking , sliding tandems etc. Classes are over crowded so it's up to you to learn what you need to in order to pass.

Fantastic experience: Not only graduated the program, but did so having tanker and doubles and triples transferred from permit to license. Staff is great and there is a lot of one on one time// if you are willing to put in the work, they go above and beyond to make sure you not only pass all your tests, but master every aspect of the pre-trip(s) and driving skills parts. Coming in knowing nothing about engines, suspension, brakes, etc...to having a Class A CDL with 2 endorsements is very achievable from beginner to more experienced drivers. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get their CDL.

Negative experience: Do not go to the school it is horrible they literally have one truck for like 15 students and you never get any time alone with any instructors they are horrible like this is the worst school in Kentucky. They charge way too much money it's not worth it trust me the school is horrible do not come here I'm trying to help the next person out go to another school.

Negative experience: This school is a rip off, racist, will train you for however long they want to send you home, and try to sue you after they make u sign a contract telling u a guaranteed job and you will get your license please I repeat please don't get too this school if you do and they kick u out for no reason u will see why!!!!

They will push you and have confidence in you even when you dont. I would recommend them .Over and over again. Going to miss them for sure

Negative experience: This is the worst driving school if you are trying to get your cdl these people pull you away from your family and don’t give you the proper training. They make you sign a contract saying u will pay then for not training you. I sent my wife here to get training and not once did the instructors tried to help her. They made her stay away from our family for threes weeks and never gave her a chance to take the state exam test. They recruit people to this school that don’t know anything about trucking and if you don’t get it by the time the instructors say u should get it they fail you. This program is terrible for trucking. This the reason new drivers fail out here in the real world because schools like this is not properly trained. I say this with best regards do not go here for truck driving you will not learn anything. They are in it for the money only they make from the huge trucking companies.

Fantastic experience: Finished back in Feb. Not a bad way to start your trucking carrier. Staff is excellent, made some great friends, I had a good time while I was there.

Fantastic experience: I'm so thankful for the staff there. I was so frustrated at one time I was ready to quit. They understood and put a hand in my back and pushed. I, and my family, have a much better life now. I will say, however, the owner really needs to do some major repair works. The parking lot had huge pot holes, the whole facility was outdated. Don't get me wrong, the instructors and staff are amazing. I definitely got what I went there for. Hugs to all of you along with undying gratitude

I would not have made it here without this school u had been at another school before CDL Training School I left because I wasn't getting any help The Instructors and Staff at CDL Training never left me unsure of what I was doing and left there confident they are a special Breed

Fantastic experience: I just finished at CDL Training Services & Consulting in 04/2018. This is a great school with wonderful instructors. If you are serious about your future then this is the school for you. Now if you can't pass a drug test, if you aren't willing to study and work hard, or if you cannot conduct yourself as an adult trying to become a professional then you will be asked to leave. If you work hard, study, and take it seriously then you will be successful in this training. If you pay attention to the information Miss Stacey gives you will pass your CDL Permit. I can say Miss Stacey, Trish, Angela, and all the instructors really care for their students. They are open, supportive and will help you in this process in anyway they can. Once you get on the yard you wil work with the instructors that teach you the actual driving skills you will need. I worked with TJ, Bill, Jason, Craig, Jeremy, and Mike. If you listen and do what the instructors tell you you will learn, pass the CDL test, and most importantly you will be ready for your next steps in your career . I cannot express the gratitude I have for this group of people! On top of passing my CDL test and walking away with the tools to help me in my training hours driving with my company and my career I also walked away with great memories and the experience of meeting these wonderful people. I highly recommend this school to anyone. I went from someone with no experience driving a truck and with no basic mechanical knowledge of a semi to being one and done on my CDL Permit and my CDL test. l I proudly give out the business cards.

Fantastic experience: These people treated me like family. They went above and beyond for some of the students that showed up with nothing to there names. They fed them and even gave them food for the weekend. If you struggle they actually taught you how to do it. They didn’t pass you along to fail out on the road. If we had more schools like this the trucking industry would be in a much better condition. ...

Fantastic experience: When I was at the end of my road and had nowhere else to turn, this school saved my life. Literally. The last day I intended to be on this earth, I remembered what I've always loved as a child. Trucks. Online showed me that this school would help pay for my education while getting me out of town and away from negative issues. I always loved trucks since I was young. Never considered driving them though. But I love driving in my personal vehicle. I thought I would never learn how to control such a big vehicle being small as I am. I was afraid of leaving home and being gone so long and around strangers. Mama Stacey is just that. Made me feel like family. Taught, advised, chastised, believed in me. Jason kept me laughing. Craig practices tirelessly with me on backing, even when backing was so frustrating, I cried. Bill patiently explained to me the thought process of backing that helped me finally catch on. Mike and TJ kept me on my toes. Misty was good on the road, kept me in line, did girl talk. Angela kept the business side of things straight and believed in me. I tell you I didn't believe in myself but I finished one as and done. There is nothing as noble as the feeling of being a small female controlling an 18 wheeler. It's a career for life and good money. I met good friends in my classmates here also. Enjoyed the talk and laughter at school and the hotel. Awesome experience. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Fantastic experience: I went here in December of 2017 and earned my CDL class A. I had been to two other schools about 20 years before but this one by far was the best. I loved the instructor's. They went above and beyond what they should've done. They listen to your problems not only about school but in your personal life and offer help if needed. The ones that stand out is Trish, Stacy, Mike, and Angela. Without Stacy I would have never passed my test. She told me what I was doing wrong. I strongly suggest that if your thinking about a driving career go to this school. They are awesome.

Positive experience: This is a great place to learn how to driving a tractor trailer. I graduated just over a year ago and the hands on/ behind the wheel training was awesome. The staff here works with you and don't just push you through the course. The will work hard with you if you are having any difficulties with the fundamentals. Big ups to the Elizabethtown staff!!!@

Fantastic experience: I loved my time at CDLT, the instructors are awesome. They all do their part in teaching what you need to know about the driving industry. All you have to is ask and they will either show you or tell you. Miss Stacey is the best instructor there. She goes above and beyond to make you feel at home during your time here. She understands being away from your family for a long period and she takes all her students under her wing to show you that you are more than just a student. as a student you become part of the family. I remember her getting in the truck with me to show me how to parallel park. she stayed in the truck with me until i felt confident enough to do it on my own. I will forever be grateful for the advise and patience she showed. Mike, Mike, TJ, and Jason are awesome as well. While working in the yard or out on the road they do whatever they can to make sure you are comfortable behind the wheel. They make the yard and road time fun and worth every minute you are here. Thank you all for the time and effort you put into me and all of your students. I miss you all very much, you are more than teacher to me. You are FAMILY.

Fantastic experience: I have learned so much from this school and always speak highly of the training I received from this group of very professional teachers. Not only do they train well but they are very considerate and family oriented atmosphere where you don't feel pressured because they make things very easy to understand.
