Fantastic experience: My child (15) loved the experience with Go Driving and I am comfortable in the car with them at the wheel. Walter made the class material interesting enough (with humor) that the material stuck with my kid. The on-the-road lessons provided a solid foundation to continue learning. I believe the greatest part of being a good driver is confidence and Go Driving created a confident driver. My child loves the drivers, but especially Elizabeth:)

Fantastic experience: We have had both are own kids and several other go through Go Driving School and I have had only great experiences with them. Professional, cheerful, patient and flexible. It's crazy but grandkids will be there soon. Thank you, Walter and all the staff.

Fantastic experience: My son needed his driver's license and was having difficulty passing the written test on his own. Go driving stepped in with hands on help. Brian was patient, kind and thoughtful. I would recommend Go driving because of reasonable fees and classroom time which helped my son achieve success with obtaining his driver's license. Fantastic experience: I am recommending this School to everyone who needs this kind of service, especially to first drivers. The classes are precise and emphasize the main points we need to know to become a good driver. The behind the wheel class is extremely well oriented. Brian is such a fantastic instructor. For many years I have been afraid to drive and Brian helped me to overcome it and to feel confident to apply what I have been learning. Besides all that, the staff are friendly and quick to respond emails, document updates and questions in general. I couldn't be more pleased.

Fantastic experience: All staff were very professional and helpful calming 1st time drivers and parents nerves. Yes this course dose cost more than the school sponsored class but it was cheaper than other drivers ed classes I found in the area. I was extremely convienent as well. The classes were 2 Saturdays and the driving times were scheduled by the patent and what worked with your schedule. There is even an option for the driver instructor to pick up and drop off at your house!!!! If your teen needs drivers ed I highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Walter Olker for being such a good theory teacher and driving instructor! The atmosphere in our theory classes was very warm and comfortable, and it was a pleasure to study there. If anyone in the group had questions, Walter explained everything clearly and always provided examples, so it was easier to understand the material. My driving classes were great! I felt safe and confident, because I knew that my instructor was paying all his attention to what I was doing and was ready to help with any questions I had. I have just got the driver's license and I am glad that I have chosen Go Driving School!

Walter the owner and Brian the instructor cares about students . If I could give more than five stars I will do it. My wife is French speaker so not very fluent in English but they were patient and they teach her. So my wife drive because of them. I am going to add some word for my French speaker (go driving school ) je leur donne cinq etoiles si je pouvais donner plus de cinq j’allais le faire , car c’est la meilleur auto école que je n’est jamain vu , ils sont tous professionels. walter le proprietaire et l’instructeur Brian ont vraiment contribuer a la reussite de la conduite de ma femme qui ,d’or et déja a son permis de conduire . pour tous ce qui viendrons a Fort Riley allez incrire vos proches car vous n’allez pas le regretter. ils a pu ajuster le programme de conduite de ma femme car je devrait être deployer nous avions trois enfants je m’inquietais comment j’allais la laissez et partir sans qu’elle ne sache conduire . mais Dieu merci il a ajuster le programme et ma femme a pu suivre convenablement les cours theriorique et pratique a temps . Autres choses que je vais ajouter est que lors des cours pratiquent ils demanderons ou tu voudrais être deposer. le choix t’appartiendrais.

Fantastic experience: My son loved this class format (four in-person sessions as opposed to all 8 hours in one day) and really enjoyed Walter's humor and instruction. He really enjoyed learning behind the wheel skills with Walter as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the sign up process, the instruction, and with Walter. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Go Driving breaks down the process into various sessions so the student is able to retain the curriculum. They also divide the driving times into (3) 2 hour sessions. Walter was great in the class room and in the car. My granddaughter really enjoyed this school and said she wished her school teachers taught and explained topics like Walter. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of learning to drive.

Even if you already are working well with your daughter or son to learn driving, I would recommend Go Driving School to complete the picture. I feel much better about the whole learning-to-drive process after having the school work with our son.

Fantastic experience: Go Driving School was the best driver's education experience I could have received in all of Kansas. In the beginning I was struggling to incorporate my schedule and distance with the typical time frames but Walter and the rest are extremely helpful and open to meet mine as well as other student's needs to be able to attend and complete their course. Classes were through and entertaining as Walter has a great sense of humor and he gets to the main points and nothing more, including the tests which were not made to deliberately confuse students compared to a traditional highway patrol test. And covers everything from emergency situations in every possible driveway and direction. (Did I mention animal crackers and waters were included in the course for students to snack on?) Walter is also great at explaining almost anything in his class in various languages including Arabic and Spanish. On the driving sessions, all my drivers (Notably Alan, Scott, and Barry) were all very educated and reflected everything that was covered in class and are able to accommodate to the Kansas City area to drop me off, but even though I am an experienced driver, the instructors are very patient and will have long and fun conversations through their trips and along the way improve whatever concerns you or the instructor has in mind. Overall I highly recommend anyone to have their driver's education classes here, that no matter the schedule or distance, they will make it work out, and it will be worth it. In the end I am a better driver and all set for a license thanks to Go Driving School, Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I almost never write reviews but felt this company's performance truly earned my time to do so. Go Driving was extremely well organized, easy to communicate with, the website and scheduling interface worked well, and the instructors (John and Walter) were fabulous. They did an amazing job helping my teenage son gain confidence and practice both in the classroom and behind the wheel. I would certainly recommend them to any parent looking to help their teenager build a strong base in safe driving. Thanks John and Walter!

Fantastic experience: I was initially very nervous to sign up for Driver’s Education because I’m already in my 20s and had avoided driving for a long time (thanks Lawrence public transportation). After doing some research, Go Driving was the clear choice and I’m happy I went with it! The instruction was clear and excellent. I loved the ease of scheduling and the sense of humor all of the employees have. Alan was my favorite to drive with, but I seriously could not have asked for better instructors overall!

Fantastic experience: I never really write reviews for anything, but I have to tell you how amazing Go Driving School is. I am an adult and did not know how to drive. A combination of life events and then fear after a terrible car accident left me afraid to get behind the wheel. I finally decided that I needed to learn, though - at least for emergencies or something. So I did my research and talked to a few people and the folks at Go Driving seemed the friendliest and most knowledgeable. Thus, I enrolled myself. I went into the class nervous about not knowing rules of the road to graduating as an able driver. I am now the annoyance of my friends and family because I correct them on their driving. If you are a parent and want your kid to learn the rules of the road - and learn them properly - I highly, highly recommend this school. Incidentally, they were very capable at teaching people from all walks of life. My first language is English, but my class alone had people from several other countries and from several other backgrounds, including Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, and Bangladesh, to name a few, and I feel like those students were learning just as easily as I was. To make a long review even longer, I actually enjoy driving now. I never, ever expected to do so. I don't think I would be able to do so without having had a proper driver's education like the one I received from Walter and the rest of the instructors. Thanks, you guys. I am recommending you to everyone. 12/10 experience

Fantastic experience: Took several remedial driving classes with Brian in Manhattan. I learned a lot from the instructor. Brian taught me how to drive in city, highway, and campus traffic, and taught me how to use the brakes efficiently. I gained a lot of confidence from driving with him, was far more enjoyable then driving with my mother. Would recommend Go Driving School to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Go Driving Lawrence provided an amazing experience for my mother-in-law. She is 57, a recent immigrant (hardly speaks English), and had never learned to drive. Walter provided engaging and thorough instruction with my wife acting as a translator. My wife was so impressed with the ease that he made the class engaging for the younger drivers and the couple of older first-timers. Apparently, many international students at KU seeking local instruction have honed his ability to teach to a wide range of learning styles and situations. Administratively, the web site scheduling is a breeze. However, I found Walter responsive to both email and phone communication when I wanted to make sure that this driving school could accommodate our situation. It was surprising to us that Kansas law allows the school to administer the driving test, so there is a lot less stress than the idea of going to the DMV to take the exam. Walter ensured that we had all of the necessary paperwork so that our trip to the DMV for the license after the course was very easy. The entire experience makes this school a bargain (it was already cheaper than a couple other schools I checked--I actually think they should charge more for the exceptional service and instruction that is provided). A great experience for both my wife and mother-in-law!

Fantastic experience: We chose Go Driving School for our teen, based upon friends' recommendations, and we couldn't have been more pleased. We drove in from out of town in order for our teen to take this course, and found we weren't the only ones coming from surrounding areas to enroll in this excellent school. Our teen felt such a sense of ease and accomplishment in completing this course with Go Driving, and we wholeheartedly recommend it without any hesitation. Registering online through their website, and scheduling both the classroom and driving portions of the course was easy. Communication was absolutely excellent between Go Driving and students/parents throughout the course- via e-mail, handouts, brief parent orientation, and face-to-face instruction. Walter has a true gift for teaching--he's funny and friendly, engages the students and quickly learns their names, makes excellent and memorable points, and is a real pro. You couldn't ask for a better teacher, in any subject! Our teen loved the classroom work, learned a lot from Walter, and was able to recite back word-for-word the important information and lessons Walter taught the class. For the driving portion of the course, our teen drove with both Alan and Diane, and thought both of them were excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, relaxed, and able to teach the hands-on portion in a way that built confidence in a new driver and helped important lessons stick.
