Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It felt like my best friend was teaching me how to drive. 10/10 communication and patience. When my appointment was made, she didn’t leave until everything was set, even way past closing hours. I was able to pass thanks to the constant reminders of my errors, praise on what I was doing right, and confidence that they gave me. Thank you safe and sane driving school!!

Negative experience: I had no choice but to give a 1 star review, but it deserves 0. I paid $950 for 15 lessons only for my son to fail on his first attempt at the road test. My son was taught how to parallel park with the assistance of a backup camera, which is considered illegal in New York State when taking a road test. On the day of the road test, the DMV instructor had covered the camera with his hand, leaving my son completely stunned since he wasn’t taught how to parallel park the traditional way. My son also told by the instructors to stay close to the yellow line, which caused him 5 points on the road test for turning too wide. The instructors also did not respect or prioritize my son’s time, as they canceled and rescheduled several appointments. During the classes, the instructors hardly paid attention to my son and preferred to be on their cellphones most of the time. My son initially blamed himself for his inability to pass, but after sending him to another driving school, we came to the realization that the instructors at Safe & Sane did poorly in teaching him.

Negative experience: I purchased a package from this company for driving lessons and before I received my first class they had already texted me to reschedule. They are not mindful of peoples time and availability. For the second class they did the same thing. Whoever is handling this business should rethink their ways because they clearly don’t prioritize clients. I had to ask for a refund, which they provided because I couldn’t bear myself to continue to waste my time.

I was able to pass my driving test thanks to them . They both have different styles of teaching, but together they work great they are the dream team . Fantastic experience: The best. This is the second time we have used this driving school. And both times we have been so happy. My teens easily passed the driving test! Such nice people and the lessons were comprehensive and informative with plenty of practice with each area of driving. Especially parallel parking! The lessons were easy to schedule - so flexible- and affordable. I highly recommend the package with the lessons and the test- very convenient because they schedule and take the teen to the test in the car they have been learning and practicing in. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: This was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a driving school. I’ve been to 2 in Yonkers, but safe and sane was the first one to help with my anxiety. They simplified everything and give me the confidence to pass my driving test on the first try. Fredy and Sheryce were my teachers and they made me feel so comfortable. Sheryce and her husband Freddy not only specialize in getting their customers ready to become professional and safe licensed drivers ( safe and sane drivers ) but they are also great with accessing each driver so they can better help them. Side Bar: A girl didn’t know how to drive, what I was doing wrong, nor did I know techniques to help me become better at driving… but babyyyyy I got trained by both instructors and they helped me understand it very well, I mean to the T.( I know I drove them crazy) but I am so thankful !!!!!! I started out as a “Dangerous and insane driver” But I can now say I have been promoted to a “Safe and Sane driver ️” Thank you so much. It’s a celebration

Fantastic experience: When you have to get your driver's license it can be a leanthy process, the instructors at safe & sane help you through everything. And the driving classes are taught by instructors who care about you being comfortable behind the wheel, I will only go there and send my family to get there drivers education. Best drivers Ed school in Westchester hands down. Family owned business with years of experience.

He took his time with all of my children and did a much better job than I could have teaching my children how to be the best and safest drivers possible ..Not only that but his wife Charice is also one of the nicest persons I've ever met in this industry as well as a great teacher.. Fantastic experience: What can I say… I’m that dad that didnt have the patience or nerves to teach my daughter to drive. In all fairness I gave it one shot but that’s all it took before I sent her to Sane and Sane Driving school. She took a bunch of classes with her instructor Fredy and passed her drivers test on the first shoot. She said Fredy took his time and explained everything over and over and over until she got it. I appreciate his patience and effort. If there’s a driving school worth looking into so you can get your license I highly recommend Safe and Sane Driving school. Both Fredy and Sheryce are awesome.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Safe and Sane Driving School. My son started lessons as soon as he got his permit and it was very easy to find times to schedule. Even with my son’s busy work schedule. The instructor would pick up my son at home and give him lessons throughout various areas in our city. Lots of practice with parking, highway driving and proper technique. And the best part is that they picked him up for the drivers test (which the school scheduled for us) and gave him a little refresher right before. He passed easily. Great experience.
