Negative experience: Just an FYI. I came to work this morning to find out that the school is being closed. From what I understand the students who are out in the truck training yard now will be the last class to go through there. For all the people who I have met with recently, shook hands with and was helping you change your life I extend my deepest apologies! I had no idea the school would be closing, and I wouldn't have wasted your time and put you through the admissions process if I had known about the closing in advance. Please don't give up on your dreams of changing your life by obtaining your cdl somewhere else!

The vibe, from the very first day at school, was just amazing between all of us students and our instructors. This is a safe space, and we supported each other wholeheartedly. Instruction is top-notch — each of the instructors has years of experience in teaching how to drive in real-world situations, as well as helping us strengthen our maturity with a few hours without training wheels. Whether you are a beginner, or simply looking to enhance your skills- Roadmaster was the perfect choice for me. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've been driving all types of truck for about 20 years I was a owner of my hotshot business and I really didn't want to go back driving again I let my medical card expire and I regret doing that but I found this school and it was the best experience I've had the instructors are very knowledgeable!!! I will recommend this school to anyone who wants to drive a big rig! Don't go anywhere else!!!!! They helped me in every step of getting my Class A CDL!!!!!

Hearing about others schools I really recommend Roadmaster school. -Friendly instructors. -Professional office staff . -5 Opportunities with support for DMV test. -Automatic transmission trucks. -Classes in vey high level to be a professional drivers. etc. Now I start the process to see my dreams come true.

They are all very friendly, informative, and they make time for students who need extra help. Fantastic experience: The school is amazing, I had the best time learning everything I needed to know to be able to get my Class A CDL. The 4 weeks I was here was honestly the best school experience I've ever had in my almost 30 years being alive. Week 1 in classroom was very informative in learning all the curriculum to prepare for our permit test and what to start expecting as a professional driver. Week 2 my class and I got our CDL permits and learned and passed PTI (Pre-Trip Inspection) in only 2 days. Then for the rest of that week we started learning our maneuvers and got our proficiency in straight backing and our Off-Sets and started our Road drives. The rest of the last 2 weeks we finished proficiency in our sight side, blind side parallel parking and the 90 degree alley dock maneuver and evaluated on them and passed. We finished all our road drives and tested and passed as well. The instructors and our school manager are the best staff in any company I've ever seen and I've been working for multiple companies for the last 13 years. They were the nicest staff and trained us professionally and gave us so many pointers on what to do with our maneuvers and after we got proficiency in them they showed and taught us how to do them in a more professional way that will help us out on the road in real life because a professional driver is a good driver, and this school is honestly the best school you can go to and I'm honestly gonna miss being a student there. I thank everyone in school even my upper classmates and all my classmates for the experience I had.

Fantastic experience: Overall it's a good school to start with if you're interested in truck driving. Had alot of good memories here and they made it easy to remember. The trainers show u easy steps on how to do certain maneuvers and couldn't have graduated without everyone there. There's good people there that wants u to graduate and willing to help get u there.

Fantastic experience: I know I have left a review before I just wanted to follow up with a few things. When I had written my previous review I had just graduated with my time, and I had not received my CDL. I went back to Roadmaster for 2 days to brush up on everything I needed to be able to pass my test and again Roadmaster did not disappoint. Marc being head of administration had shown time and time again that he really cared about your success, he was very honest and made sure that I had everything taken care of. If I had an issue or a problem with something he was very quick to take care of it. Lance was my instructor in the classroom, he was very thorough and made sure that you were prepared to get behind the wheel of the truck I didn't get to see him on the pad a lot but when I did there was no doubt the information, he gave you in the classroom was true. Chris was the first Instructor that I had when I started my maneuvers, all be it, it was a straight line backing he made sure that the nerves for that first maneuver went away fast. I can't stress enough that if you follow the steps you cannot fail! I then got Ron for my second and third maneuver, and Ron was also the instructor that was there for my CDL Test and Ron is great for nerves he makes sure that he is serious when he needs to be and when there is correction to be made you listen, that way success isn't in question. For my road drives and maneuvers I had Curtis, and my nerves getting behind the wheel for the first time and wondering about all the things that could potentially go wrong were very much present. Curtis made sure to clarify that it was okay to have nerves and that being nervous was better than being overconfident. He ensured me that he would not instruct me to do anything that would be outside my scope of knowledge, and he stood true to that. I went on all my road drives with Curtis and by the 10th drive nerves were barely present. Dan was the final instructor that I was able to work with he is also the Lead Trainer, Dan has a passion for teaching and definitely lives up to the standard that Roadmaster expects. With my wife being a teacher herself it was very comforting to see someone with the same passion in a completely different environment. Dan was very supportive and was able to keep the learning experience positive and fun. All of the instructors are definitely serious when they need to be and make sure that you learn everything you need to succeed. This school is something that I hope to see in all schools one day. And I may try to become an instructor with Roadmaster myself someday!

Fantastic experience: Roadmaster in my opinion is the best school if you want to get your CDL. As long as you put in the work, every single one of the instructors as well as the admin team will do absolutely everything they can to make sure you succeed. Even with an injury they never gave up on me and made sure that I was successful. I personally can't speak highly enough about Roadmaster!

Negative experience: The OKC school is unorganized and unprofessional. You will get the bare minimum here. You would think they just started this school by how they run it. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing most of the time and you will be caught in the middle.

Fantastic experience: The entire experience was solid, starting with Russell in the recruitment department. The instructors at Roadmaster really had their work cut out for them when I enrolled. Suffice it to say…I struggled. However, each one of the instructors took the time I needed to get me across the finish line and pass at the DMV with the coveted CDL-A. The First Time! Thank you Chris, Ron, Curtis, Marc, Lance and most especially Dan for your patience and never giving up on me.

Negative experience: Week one was actually good. Never been kicked from a school until this. Unexpected reasons I couldn't control and I called ahead. Marc threw me out anyway. And he changes what he says to you from one conversation to another. Lied to me and my Dad. Lost my respect

Fantastic experience: I one thousand percent recommend Roadmaster if you are looking to get your cdl. From the beginning the staff was helpful with all my questions and getting me started.the instructors are very good at what they do. I learned so much. Their success rate is high and I can see why. After 180 hours I now hold a cdl. They set you up with carriers from the beginning so all you have to do is focus on learning and getting your future in your hands. I will forever be grateful for the staff at the Oklahoma City location.they truly care and they show it daily.

Fantastic experience: I had a great overall experience at roadmaster. The instructors were very helpful, polite, and extremely knowledgable. One of my favorite things was the instructions catered to each individual student, informing us of how we can better our maneuvers as they observed us individually for our strengths and weaknesses. You not only learn the proper way of doing each maneuver, but also get to learn the ways of correcting the mistakes on each one as you do them, further setting you up for success when you're not in an ideal backing situation. Special thanks to Ron, Chris, Dan, and Lance for all the encouragement, a great experience, and having my class overly prepared for our careers.

Negative experience: I can't say on the instructors inside, because I didn't make it that far. My experience with RoadMaster's is one I won't forget any time soon. I started the first few steps of getting into the school, all the applications and the tours, getting approved for their in-house loan, etc. First thing that caught me was that the Oklahoma city school, of which I was applying, didn't have a recruiter on site. The ONLY recruiter they had was out of Arizona, but he seemed like a great guy. Carlos, is his first name. I stayed in contact, day after day, week after week, going through the drug testing, the DOT, the Werner applications, everything is looking great. Carlos is happy and excited for me, says he's doing everything he can to make this a great experience. I had to jump through some hoops to pass the DOT because I was on a couple meds that can't be taken while driving a truck. No problem, I dropped them like a rock. I was dedicated to be a truck driver. I have three teen boys to care for. I finally get letters from my doctors, drop some meds and, happy day! I get the call saying I passed the DOT and it's good for a year! This is like three weeks in, not too bad on timing, I might say. I get my DOT paperwork and I rush over to RoadMasters, hoping to get big smiles of encouragement and a start date for school. I didn't get that. I wad met with hostility, the looks on their faces of horror at the sight of me like they just wanted me to leave. I was then told that the lady working the phone at the desk, who's always been so sweet and chatty with me, is now cold, harsh, and uncaring. I'm an emotional person, it's just part of who I am, so when she proceeds to tell me she's tried calling me many times, when she only called me once with a bland message that had no urgency to it, I was upset. I got a little loud. I was then told that I could not ever, now, or in the future, go to RoadMasters because I did not pass my DOT. The same documentation that I had in my hand saying otherwise. She didn't care, she refused to look at my documentation and I felt like she was treating me like a criminal. Carlos, the Arizona recruiter, finally came out to talk, to interject into the situation and turned to him for answers because I didn't understand what was going on. The lady would not stop talking and I told her, I'm done talking to you, and turned back to my recruiter. They wouldn't tell me anything, why I was supposedly not eligible for the school with a clean driving and criminal record, passed DOT papers in my hand. I had tried calling over and over the week before but was left with answering machines to which I didn't get replies. They asked me if I had called the MRO, but I didn't know what that was, I was not informed of this. I was completely new to this process. In the end, all I was met with was threats of the police being called and also being told that I had been flagged by the government for something on my drug test, which... In my hand, is the DOT documentation that shows nothing illegal or unkempt showed up on those tests. I did leave, but I was flabbergasted with the treatment I received, the cold nature in which this was handled, and I'm still left with questions of what the heck happened. I would not recommend this school to anyone, because it seems they will turn on you in a heartbeat, with apparently no reason. I still have my passing DOT for a year, and I will be looking for another school. Oh, and lastly? Don't believe a word that anyone tells you when being recruited, I caught my recruiter in at least two lies during that whole process, and who knows what the hell that was in the end. Honestly, I'd give them 0 stars if I could.

The RoadMaster Team takes pleasure in seeing each student succeed in their class. Also, they are willing and ready to help you until you comprehend in how to do the maneuvers, Logbooks, PTI, etc.... I would say this Driving School is a dedicated and caring management.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience here. Instructors are all about making sure you succeed. They are very patient and personable. The school manager was awesome as well. He got out to help many times if a student needed extra assistance. Administrative staff were very kind, always smiling and encouraging. Everyone here are cheerleaders for the students. They go out their way to make sure everyone is successful in what they do. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Went in not knowing a thing about driving semis not even with a trailer and came out knowing how to drive and back a trailer with a blindfold with zero problem. Instructors were able to work with anyone and everyone and were dedicated and happy to see everyone pass too! Gonna miss that place!

Negative experience: This school would probably be a great school if they didn't lie to you when you first tried to get in. I am curious what kind of school runs a credit score to qualify you? At first they informed us that the credit score didn't affect your qualification for getting in and then they didn't even warn my family member that was willing to co-sign that her credit was going to take a hard hit when she agreed to co-sign after my boyfriend didn't qualify for the loan on his own. After getting his daughter to co-sign she started questioning what would happen to her credit if she co-signed and Lenny (the man doing the co-signer information) just simply hung up on her and didnt even bother to answer her questions. I wouldn't advise anyone use this school if thats how they conduct business and kill dreams :)

Fantastic experience: I had a great time at Roadmaster . From start to finish the staff was very helpfull and understanding . The instructors had plenty of answers and experience to share . Its a team effort for every student to pass and get there CDL . I had everyone with the school help me at some point or another . They keept the mood light and the stress down as much as possible . Fantastic experience: We had multiple instructors who were fairly new, so they weren't on the same page at first. Once everything got diled in it was a great experience all around. I was able to take a little bit from everyone and apply it to my completion of my CDL training. I would definitely recommend Roadmaster to anyone interested in the trucking industry and I'm very excited for whatever my future my hold.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place the teachers were phenomenal, in fact I was gonna quit and they coached me and talked me out of it… I was the very first graduate in this location and I am very proud and thankful for the opportunity they have given me to provide for a better life and to help elevate my family… I highly recommend using this location and school… Jennifer was a great secretary Marc was a great influencer and motivator.. Daniel was a phenomenal driving instructor. Lance was a major help also and great with PTI… and Annette was a wonderful classroom teacher and she will make sure you understand everything… if I had to go again I would definitely go thru them again…. I’d give them 10 stars if possible…

Fantastic experience: I came to Roadmaster to learn how to drive a truck and left knowing how to drive a truck. Would not of completed my CDL without this training. The instructors will share techniques for each skill maneuver. Learn them and the driving exam is a cake walk!

Fantastic experience: Roadmasters gave me all the right tools I needed to pass my CDL . I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the school. You will get practice in every aspect except for learning how to sleep in the cab..lol .I highly recommend this program.

Fantastic experience: I felt like they want the best from their students and they push you to be the best.. they answered any question I had and worked with me when I didn't understand something and I went into my test with complete confidence with having been trained by them.. I came to orientation ready!!! Had no problem with company road test or skills test.. what you put into your training is what you will get out of it.. always pay attention and take extra turns if they are given to you. If you don't train hard then you won't be ready..

Negative experience: I feel they discriminate against people with felony backgrounds who have at some point in time may have made a mistake but have you know worked hard to better themselves they deserve an opportunity no matter the background cuz ain't nobody perfect. The higher ups and the company not so much the instructors or lower end of the spectrum on staff such as finance directors or whatnot, I believe that there are a lot of self-righteous and self-conceited individuals that are running the company up top that think that if you have a background such as a felony that you don't deserve a chance you know what nobody's perfect I've been wanting to drive a truck for years trying to make an opportunity to try to take a chance still going to work on it I'll find somebody that will give me that opportunity and help me get my CDL. It is unconstitutional to discriminate upon certain things everybody deserves a chance everybody deserves that second chance to prove themselves I'm very ashamed of that company of that school in general if they are going to discriminate against felony backgrounds cuz guess what were people too we make mistakes nobody's perfect we all deserve a chance. It ain't who you was or what you did it's who you are now.

Fantastic experience: It was a very great experience! From school Manger to instructors they all made sure I had the guidance I needed to pass my test for the CDL... It was so encouraging and felt great for them to have so much confidence and belief that I could do this! I loved it and the only part I don't like about graduating is not getting to see them on a regular basis!
