Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with MotoMark1 and highly recommend them! Communication with the team was great from registration all the way through the driving sessions. The format was perfect for our busy schedule and ensured that our son would complete the class time and driving time before turning 15. I was initially concerned about the online class format, worried that my son wouldn't have the same experience as he would if the course were in person. I was pleasantly surprised with the online instructor and his ability to engage the students as well as the high expectations that were set for student participation. When it came time for the road hours, the 1:1 sessions were so beneficial! Parents are encouraged to ride along and it was a great way for us to learn how to best coach our son as he continues to build skill and learn to drive. It was also a great reminder of the rules of the road that adults may not remember from our own Drivers Ed courses. Safety is the focus of all the time the students spend with the instructors in the classroom and in the car and the instructors did a fantastic job communicating to our son the importance of keeping himself safe and others on the road safe as well. It's important that our kids hear this from people other than their parents! Anyone local who is looking for an alternative to school system provided Drivers Ed, this is the best around!

Fantastic experience: I am eternally grateful that I ran across Mark all those years ago when the USMC was getting excited about training. Call it the right place and the right time but I was there - and I’ve considered the voice in my ear (Mark) my mentor ever since! Not a day goes by when a vehicle potentially presents me an opportunity to practice my evasive maneuvers - I believe that’s the phrase he would say that we would be thankful for instead of being mad at drivers for cutting us off! Well, this month marks my 20 year riding anniversary. With 5 bikes, I’m just about hit 195k miles of riding that has taken me all over God beautiful country - with no collisions. Now, we give glory to whom glory is due. God is in the midst of the story of it all. Part of that story has been what MotoMark 1 and Mark Brown did for me at the very early days of my riding career. Mark, thanks for teaching me to ride with a correct purpose! Love ya brother!!

Fantastic experience: I enrolled my son into Motomark, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience! From start to finish we were greeted with a wonderful staff! Very respectful, attentive l, and patient! As this being my first child to go through a drivers course and having many questions with the preparation of getting my son road ready all my questions and concerns were answered with patience and kindness. The driving experience was by far more educational than the free classes provided by the public school systems. If you are looking for any type of drivers education courses, without a doubt go with Motomark! Mark was phenomenal! Very detailed in his teaching, and my son throughly enjoyed driving with him.

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school for getting your new driver going! Our daughter took drivers education at Motomark and had a great experience. Getting her initial hours of driving with someone besides myself and her Dad was priceless. Mark and staff are very professional and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond teaching extra safety precautions and recovery from unexpected events.

Fantastic experience: The purpose of a driver's education course is to provide new drivers with a foundation in road safety, traffic laws, and vehicle operation. MotoMark1 gets a top score of 5 with respect to each of these. I've known the owner for over 25 years and can attest to his heart set & skill set with respect to creating safer drivers! Fantastic experience: This past August I took my driver's education course through moto mark 1. It was an amazing experience, they took their time to ask and answer questions. It made for a fun and knowledgeable time. When it came to the driving part of the course Mr Mark Brown was excellent. He made it fun and it was a very knowledgeable time. I recently took my permit test and passed! Iam so thankful for the people at moto mark who helped me. I would highly recommend moto mark to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved it here! The driving instructors are fantastic. They really help you learn everything you need to know, and it's not boring at all. Everyone treats you with respect. There wasn't a single moment that I second guessed being there. Honestly, part of me wants to go back and do it all over again, but there isn't a need for that. So overall, I recommend this place more than anywhere else! Update: Got my license first-try with no hiccups. Let that speak for itself on this places excellency.

Fantastic experience: I took the 3-wheel course on 05/11/24. Mike and Kurt were top notch instructors. We had riders of all levels of experience, and they were able to tailor the class to fit everyone's learning levels. Great course, great instructors!!

Fantastic experience: Today we took the Can Am driving course and it was great. The instructors, Mike and Robert were amazing and not only made the class informative but fun as well. Highly recommend the class.

Fantastic experience: I took the Stayin Safe 1 day motorcycle course with Mark Brown. I had a great experience and came away a better and more safe motorcycle driver. I also notice a little more confidence when driving my motorcycle now. Mark Brown is a good teacher and a true craftsman of his trade. I plan to further my motorcycle education with this company in the future.

Negative experience: WARNING ! ****Waste of money ! (for motorcycle riders=$500), the good reviews are only for parents who are too scared to teach their teenager how to drive. I've sent emails and have gotten no response. ( NO excuses pls) I rather not listen to your lies... I signed up for the advanced motorcycle class and nothing that they stated on the website that would be taught was true. (no pictures no video Nada) i even called beforehand to make sure would be taught. ***These were just gimmick strategies to get you to sign up and waste your money. I ended up paying $500 for them to set up 7 section of cones and watch me go around and say uh huh good uh huH good ? Communication was Very poor you could Never tell who they were talking to??.. I went there to be Nit-Picked/Judged & Citiqued & wanted directions on how I could improve my riding skills. and how to correct it- as they promised to : *** Level 2 will enhance and work on more detailed phases of hazard perception, recognition, reaction, braking techniques-Urban survival skills- *Improved scan and control *Emergency stopping at both low and high speeds *Brake-and-evade maneuvers *Low-speed handling *Precision maneuvers You will learn how to negotiate congested traffic, None of this was taught at ALL !..... NONE OF IT !! I skipped level 1 = as I did not want to be in a class full of new riders dropping their bikes and needing extra attention-- I thought I would be with more experienced riders but I was WronG so in return what I feared would happen Did --* I got No Attention ,only the weak riders absorbed all the attention and the advanced riders were ignored so after the weak riders got tired, so did all the instructorS ? me and one other adv. riders was left on the course alone still wanting to learn and was paid NO Attention. I spent MOST of my time picking up Cones so I could do the drill properly ? I thought this is what the instructors were Paid to Do. There was no greeting when you arrived. I was left wondering about the process. As this is my first class and did not know the procedure. I Never felt Welcome in fact I Felt Ostracized for Not having a Harley Davidson or BMW with baggers, I wish I would have noticed in the pictures that they don't know what to do with sports bikes and felt like they held this against me. When I did ask questions -their responses were very uneducated, I never received that proper answer for the questions I was asking. As you sit in the class all the instructors are sitting in the back corner hiding, they should've been upfront- they spent too much time talking about themselves & irrelevant details- instead of teaching about motorcycle riding skills way too much time was wasted in this class (WHAT A WASTE OF my valuable TIME ) the same weak riders kept dropping their bikes and All the instructors had to go over & help and them & a few people Arrived & they started talking about his new bike and if they could ride it -Right in the middle of our class this is very unprofessional, I didn't pay to watch you guys wanna brag about your bikes and watching you try each others - Absurd !! i was so shocked on how unfriendly everyone was from the instructors & other riders just because i was the only sportbike . NOT-COOL !

Fantastic experience: My daughter just finished at MotoMark1; she had a great experience! Professional teachers/instructors, many are retired law enforcement. Attention to detail, patient & thorough training for teens learning to drive. Would highly recommend. Instructors work with students schedules to complete the driving portion of the class in a timely fashion (unlike school system months long delays).

My husband and I participated in a 3 wheel motorcycle course and WOW! We walked away not only better motorcycle drivers, but better drivers overall. Fantastic experience: My daughter loved this class. She said she learned so much, and had fun doing it. Even the driving part was detailed and fun. She took the class and got her Permit all in less than a month. Thanks Motomark1 for making this an exciting learning experience for my daughter.

Mike and Kirk were the absolute best for the can am ryker course for a new person with no experience i am now riding my can am now and enjoying it still a ways to go but i highly recommend this location for experienced or new riders.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend MotoMark1 for drivers Ed for teens. My kids really liked the class and learned a lot. Mark was an excellent instructor behind the wheel and incredibly patient. He went above and beyond to make it a great learning experience.

Fantastic experience: I took the Maximum Control 1 & 2 classes a couple weekends ago. They were fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Eric and Asha were great instructors. I am also glad it rained too because I learned that rain has no impact on your ability to perform low speed maneuvers on your motorcycle. Highly recommend these classes for anyone who rides a large bike.

Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing experience, taking the Basic Motor Officer Course (BMOC), learning to operate/drive my motorcycle in a more competent and safe manner from Mark and his team at MotoMark1. The training goals were clear, material was well organized, the schedule was well defined but flexible enough to accommodate changes in weather and student needs, training environment was well set up and ,safe and most importantly ... the instructors were the best I've ran across. Mark and his team were incredibly observant, instructive, positive and encouraging. They knew what you did wrong, how to make you understand what you did and how to instruct you to correct it. They knew when to be serious and not so serious. They made you feel like you were a part of the team. It was a challenging and physically tiring course that took over a 44 hour period but they made it easy to absorb all the information efficiently and made it feel much shorter than it was. I wish I had taken this course earlier in my motorcycling "career". I went straight into BMOC as I was fairly comfortable with operating my motorcycle but MotoMark1 offers multiple courses to accommodate different skill levels. I would highly recommend these courses to all who rides as soon as possible to become an operator/driver of a motorcycle rather than just a "rider".

Fantastic experience: Just spent the weekend training at MotoMark1, and it was a wonderful experience. The expert riding coaches demonstrated the ultimate in professionalism, empathy for students at different riding levels, and personalized instruction to allow each student to get the most out of the class. It’s clear that the instructors have deep passion for the art of motorcycle riding, and - more importantly - an eagerness to share that knowledge with others. Oh, and the catered lunches were fantastic!

My daughter just completed her classroom and in car a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't be more pleased with the service provided. I really appreciated the fact that they encouraged a parent to ride along during the in car sessions. Fantastic experience: When I found out that I was going to have to do private driving for my son because the schools driving program was so backed up I started looking around to see who was the most convenient. I figured they were all the same right? Boy was I wrong! Mark Brown at MotoMark1 was the most convenient and also head and shoulders above the rest. As a 30 year veteran of the NCSHP, Mark Brown's level of instruction is far superior to any other company I have seen. I have never been more comfortable entrusting my child's instruction to someone else. Mark's level of professionalism is also off the charts. He loves what he does and it shows through his company. Thanks Mark for the instruction you have provided for Joshua. I couldn't recommend anyone higher.

Fantastic experience: Would HIGHLY recommend using MotoMark to prepare your new driver for the many obstacles they will face on the crazy roads out there! I love that they encourage the parent to ride along on the driving portion of the training. I learned a few things myself! My son is now an extremely prepared and confident new driver. Fantastic experience: My daughter completed both the written and driving portion of drivers Ed last summer. (Apologies for the late review). Such a great experience. She got so much more out of her instruction than my older boys did with the program offered through the school system. Well worth the cost. I was able to ride with them during the driving portion and learned a few things myself. It also allowed me to be a better instructor to her. Mark was great!! Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: My son recently completed his initial driver's ed (classroom and 6 hours in car). We were very impressed with their professionalism and the comprehensive program. Mark and Travis were patient and knowledgeable and kind. They had a wonderful temperament that worked well with a new (teen) driver. I rode along and I learned a lot too. I highly recommend MotoMark for new drivers.

Fantastic experience: We have been using the Jacksonville office for my daughters drivers training and she has not only had a great experience but loves the instructors. Very thorough training, it makes parents feel good about letting their children drive and being safe. Great job MotoMark1!

Fantastic experience: My two children just finished with MotoMark1. I was reluctant to utilize a driving school because I was going to teach them myself. I am very glad I did not do that. MotoMark1 was a great investment for my children's education and safety having instructors who were calm, concise, and consistent. Also, it was a great refresher for myself so that I can better instruct them as they receive their driving permits.

Negative experience: Ok, so...first off...after A TON of misinformation we booked the driving portion with MOTO MARK...14hrs later we called to cancel and was promptly refunded all but 50.00- I asked but was told they had a cancelation fee. THIS IS ABSURD they had multiple spots available but are charging me a cancelation fee- My wife called a 2nd time and was told again no refunds, SO BE CAREFUL! If you are not going through a public school do your research because MotoMark may have the best school in the country but their business practices are not the friendliest.

Fantastic experience: My daughter, Lily, took that driving portion of drivers Ed over the summer of 2022. Her instructor, Dalton, was outstanding. He was patient, informative and skilled. My daughter had a positive experience. I highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: My son just completed Driver Ed ; both the classroom and driving portions. Great experience! They were very organized and courteous. The driving instructors (Little Scott and Mark) were patient, professional and really explained things well in terms a 15 year old could understand. As a nervous parent of a new driver, I think he is definitely more prepared to get behind the wheel. I'd definitely recommend MotoMark!

Fantastic experience: My daughter Lexie (with an E ) just finished her driving portion of Drivers Ed in Jacksonville NC. Her instructor was Travis and he was amazing! He has a great personality to make young inexperienced drivers feel comfortable. I personally liked the one on one lessons as he could focus on her. He was so good with her, he explained everything thoroughly, from what to inspect on the vehicle before driving to the workings under the hood. She really enjoyed her lessons and feels so much more confident about driving and getting her permit next week . Thanks Travis and Moto Mark 1 for making this a great experience. We will definitely refer anyone looking for driving instruction or drivers Ed courses to you guys!

Fantastic experience: When I tell you mr Scott is tha best! I’m a foreign national who took some classes with motormark1. Never driven on the road before, but mr Scott built my confidence and I got my drivers license on my first try.

Fantastic experience: Took a few classes with them, after my roommate recommended Motomark1. I'm a naturally nervous person, but I felt at ease in the car with both of my instructors. They were all very observant when I had an issue, and helped me work through the problem. I'm gladly taking more lessons with them when I'm closer to my driving appointment.

Fantastic experience: Our son took the 30 hours class time + 6 hours of on-road instruction. It was worth every penny. The class was taught by professionals who managed to keep our son engaged and excited for long class sessions. They also encouraged parents to participate in the on-road portion of the class, which helped me observe where our son would need more assistance and where he was confident already. The instructors were incredible and gave him experience on backroads, county roadways, parking lots, and the highway. I cannot recommend MotoMark1 enough!

Fantastic experience: Road in the vehicle with the instructor as they taught a family member who is a new driver and it was great. Negative experience: I paid for a class and ended up having my daughter early and the claimed they could switch me to another class and when I called to make sure i was still scheduled they told me I wasn’t and I would have to pay a whole other $500 .

Fantastic experience: In all my 26 years I been so afraid to even get behind a wheel of a car, and I finally told myself I gotta do something about that I need to drive, and I found motomark, it's the best 300 I spent, they was so nice and relaxed and build my confidence up on driving, this is a great organization for anyone who needs to get there confidence up and that phobia of driving gone, I give this place 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: My son just completed his Drivers Training with Mark and the instructors at MotoMark1. Money well spent! Their course goes beyond the traditional one that the children get for free in school. These instructors truly care about the students being well prepared to hit the road as young drivers. We were part of his first class that had to adjust due to COVID-19 restrictions and Mark went above and Beyond with Zoom Courses to keep the kids on track. Fantastic experience: I've taken a couple of courses with MotoMark1 so far, and intend to go back for more. These guys are expert riders with a lot of knowledge to share, patient (oh so very patient:) instructors, and the classes definitely help improve my riding. I recommend that most motorcyclists regularly take riding classes; improving or even just keeping those skills sharp just makes riding safer and so much more fun. I always leave a Motomark1 class with a new tool in my toolbox, something new to consider or practice, or a fresh perspective on how to be more aware and safer on the road.

Fantastic experience: Best personal training experience ever!It started with the evaluation of our individual needs for skill improvement and went through direct and figurative explanation which we could apply while riding with ear bud devices and having Marks immediate guide and response. Bottom line, very personal and effective and with fun! I will take the next class!

Fantastic experience: I took the Maximum Control level 1 and level 2 classes on a consecutive Saturday and Sunday. The instruction was excellent! The course materials are well thought out, building one exercise on top of another in a logical sequence. The work on the riding skills course is challenging but the positive reinforcement style of instruction creates an atmosphere that allows every rider to make progress quickly. I improved to a level I would not have dreamed possible in just two days. I feel much more confident in my ability to control my motorcycle as a result. I highly recommend MotoMark1 to anyone serious about improving their motorcycle skills. You will not regret the time spent in this class!
