Fantastic experience: Both Angela and Tamera are so nice, caring, and attentive. The school is so organized and they provide a very high level of driving education. It was a great experience and I'm very glad I went here.

Fantastic experience: The online classes were a nice convenience for my son. However, the scheduling of the behind the wheel was a little annoying with the schedule constantly being filled. But Angela and TJ were able to make it work and get my son on the schedule and completed pretty quickly. Angela was a great BTW instructor and very patient. Thanks for helping my son complete the class and his behind the wheel training.

Fantastic experience: It took some time due to personal reasons but I did it. I completed the driving school classes a long time ago and I enjoyed the fact that 1. The classes were online, I was able to choose day or evening classes, I chose evening which worked for me, and 2. I found the classes to be very informative and I like that you have to complete a text after each lesson, it shows what you learned. I completed my Drive-time lessons a short time ago. And yesterday I went to the MVA and passed the road test I am now a licensed driver Thank you to Mrs. Tamra Spano and Mr. Diarra Brown for helping me get here.

Fantastic experience: The whole process and communication with this company was a breeze! If I ever had questions about anything at all they were always very pleasant and had open communication with me. My son understood the curriculum and was engaged. Classes were virtual for 2 weeks. He did 3 different drive times/days with an instructor and passed his license test on the first try. Angela the driving instructor was very positive and gave great feedback of things that were good and things that could be worked on. I will be using them again in a few months when my youngest starts the process. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We were referred by a neighbor to Topz and Tipz, and we're glad we were. The online classes were a great format for my daughter to get home quickly and start after school. There was a good option around the holidays, a time of year when there were no sports, theater, volunteering... the usual craziness of the teenage schedule. Her in car instructor for all three drives was a stickler for details, which is a great thing. He instructed but in a way that didn't stress her out (unlike me lol). I appreciated the FAQ guidance for how we should structure at home driving progression. That was the best of the schools I researched. She got her license on the first try. Thanks to TJ and the team for all of the support!

Fantastic experience: From what I've heard from friends that went to other schools, it seems this is definitely one of, if not the best, driving school you will find in Maryland. For the online classes, I could tell that the instructors really knew what they were talking about, they would answer questions well, and if you needed some information repeated, they were ready to help out. The behind the wheel times were also quite helpful, making me more confident with my driving in general, parking, and knowing exactly what the people at MVA are looking for when they test you.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just completed her class and drive time with Topz and Tipz. We loved the online class format which made it super convenient for a busy family with sports schedules. We were able to quickly and easily get drive times that worked with our schedule. Allowing multiple payments at your own place helped tremendously as well! My daughter and I feel very confident in what she learned and she feels prepared for her lesson! Angela was fantastic with behind the wheel training and Tamara was a great classroom teacher! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Tops n Tipz prepared me for the driving test. Ms Tamra was flexible with the schedule as long as you communicated with her. I did morning classes. Ms. Tamra’s curriculum was very informative to ensure we knew everything for our written test. It was easy for me to schedule practice drive times. I really appreciate Ms. Angela she made my drives easy by engaging me and giving praise when I did something good. She also let me know what I needed to improve. Fantastic experience: My son is now a licensed driver and it's all thanks to Topz N Tipz Driving School. My son said he couldn't have passed if it wasn't for Mrs. Angela Anderson. He was so great full for those Drive time hours. Overall an amazing experience and I will definitely be a returning customer for my next child that will need to get a license.

Negative experience: I was not going to write a review but after reading others I believe I should. I had many issues with this driving school. 1. There was almost no drive times available unless you checking the portal every second of every waking day good luck finding drive time I waited over a year and half for my drive time. 2. When I went for my drive session I’ve never felt more uncomfortable and hurt when it came to driving she not only degrading and unprofessional but also extremely passive AGRESSIVE(don’t believe me check the way she responds to negative comments extremely unprofessional and can’t take accountability) 3. I was only 16 at the time and she not only degraded me on completely unreasonable things she also degraded my parents driving abilities not even knowing them. 4. Even though she degraded me she still passed me with high numbers every time so what was the point in degrading me and my skills just to give me an above average score every single time. You’re supposed to be a teacher not someone who unnecessarily harasses children. don’t get me wrong we do need to learn how to drive on the road but yelling at a new driver is not the way to do it how would you feel to sit in the car and get yelled at and degraded by a stranger for 2 hours and then know you have to go back two more times. Honestly I’ve never written a review before but I want to warn people there is better driving schools out there don’t waste your time here save your money.

Fantastic experience: We loved the convenience of the online classes. My child was able to go to school, after school sports and then come home and log in to his evening drivers course. We had Angela as an instructor and she was fabulous. My child felt comfortable with her and she smoothed out his rough edges when it came to on the road driving. Thanks to the classroom instructor and the on the road instructor, he felt confident and was able to pass his drivers test yesterday. He is now a licensed driver! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Class sessions are very thorough and informative. Examples if scenarios and how to handle situations. Real life examples. Drive sessions are very helpful. Even with hours of driving/practicing, I receive very helpful insights during my on-road drive sessions. Instructors are very friendly & nice. They truly care for their students and make sure you are 100%! They prepare you for success! Definitely recommend. Best driving school! P.S: Mr.Brown is awesome!

Fantastic experience: When I first started driving I was doing laps in the parking lot because I was not skilled and diligent enough to drive on real roads. On my last drive I was confidently making my own decisions while driving on highways. In just 8 drives and personal driving time I was able to do a complete 180 on my driving skills with this driving school. I will be forever grateful and I 100% recommend this school to anyone who needs help with drive time or learning how to drive.

Fantastic experience: We completed our drive time only with TJ. After completing the course work and drive time elsewhere I wasn’t confident with the previous instruction and came to TJ looking for more driving instruction to set our son up for success. We had timely and very strong and clear instruction from TOPZ N TIPZ. Our sone came out of each driving instruction a more aware and confident driver. Our instructor was direct about what to work on because the safety of her new drivers and all of the other drivers on the road is her priority. We were very impressed with the complete process, including an online platform to schedule, review notes and emails where responded to in a very prompt matter. This is no easy job and I am incredibly impressed with this company! We will continue to recommend to everyone we know. Thank you for your professionalism and your candor. Having someone you trust to be frank with your kid and teach them the right way only is such a blessing!

Fantastic experience: I personally want to thank my driving instructor, Tamra Spano, as she was the best guide I could ever get. She cares and takes her time to teach her classes, as her drive times. She has helped become and great driver and is very understanding. I only recommend and refer her program to anyone that’s looking for an excellent driving school. Her prices are actually affordable unlike most driving schools she is always working to make her program more efficient. She keeps it real with you so there is never no confusion. She is the reason I got my provisionals in the matter of weeks!

Negative experience: This is an unethical business. The owner is enrolling more students than she can serve. My son was enrolled in March and began the classroom portion in July. The owner does not have any drive time availability until October and didn't tell us! She is taking people's money but can't provide the service! Additionally, she is very unprofessional. She makes inappropriate comments and told her students that their parents were relentless with complaints and maybe parents should help to expedite her paperwork with the state to open up more drive time. TERRIBLE!

Negative experience: everything went pretty well with my experience here except for the drive times which i didn't do at this driving school because you're going to have to wait months for each drive time session, this school seriously needs more than just one instructor. i ended up going to a different driving school to do my drive times and i finished in about a month for all 3. if you're looking to get your license in a timely manner i wouldn't really recommended this place.

Negative experience: My daughter attended this driving school. Ms. Spano was her driving instructor. During the second driving lesson with my daughter, she made my daughter a nervous wreck. She was very critical and degrading of my daughters driving, which made my daughter very upset and nervous, which led to more mistakes. My husband went to pick up my daughter after that driving session, Ms. Spano approached my husband and told him that my daughter was danger on the road and went on and on while my daughter was in the car listening to this. My daughter was 20 at the time, she she is an adult. Ms.Spano should have addressed any issues she had concerning my daughters driving to my daughter only. She ranted to my husband acting like my daughter was a child.She needs to be more patient and professional.

Fantastic experience: 6/11/2023 Up until yesterday, I really didn't think my son would ever learn how to drive. He was diagnosed with mixed type A.D.H.D. at an early age and struggled to learn new materials. About 18 months ago, he got his permit and started learning to drive with another driving school. He hadn't made much progress with them and he got very discouraged. He decided he wanted to take a break from driving. A few months ago I contacted Tamra after my son approached me and stated he wanted to try learning again. Ms. Tamra was so sweet on the phone and immediately made me feel at ease. After his first lesson, I was immediately impressed. She went over in detail what he needed to work on and followed up with an email showing how he was rated for specific tasks during the drive. After six sessions with Ms. Tamra, it was time to test. I payed extra to use her company vehicle and have her accompany him to his test. It was well worth the money as she gave him a quick refresher before hand as well. As of yesterday, my son is now a licensed driver! All I can say is USE THIS COMPANY! I've worked with 2 other driving schools and they did not even come close to this one. Thank you again Tamra! You've been a blessing!

Fantastic experience: A Facebook post looking for drivers ed recommendations brought us to Topz N Tipz. We couldn't be more pleased! The price can't be beat, the attention and care that the instructor gives is awesome. My daughter was involved in an accident while driving with her learners (not her fault thankfully! And she and I were not seriously hurt) and the instructor gave her lots of good tipz and tlc at her driving time shortly after the accident. We thank you!!

Not only is it cheap and can work around your schedule, but the instructor Ms. Tamra is an excellent teacher and goes above and beyond when teaching the rules of the road. It was a easy to understand course and it taught me a lot. So much so i passed my drivers test first try. She accommodated my work schedule, my MVA appointment and prepared me in every possible way to get my license. Fantastic experience: Very good experience, I took this over the past year and just got my license recently. Ms. Spano is extremely kind and very hard working. She truly wants the best for her students and makes sure they are ready to drive on the road, instead of just passing her students to get it over with. She made sure I was ready for the driver's test and took me to the MVA so I could watch other people take the test which was very helpful. She especially gives very good tips to help master parking, which is generally difficult; and thanks to her I passed my test on the first try! 10/10 recommend.

Negative experience: Whoever was driving this vehicle in the Charles Town, WV area should be ashamed of themselves & should NOT be allowed to teach anyone how to drive. They swerved into my lane during a red light with no regard to anyone else behind them. I have a picture of the license plate & will report it. It was a silver Kia Sportage. Maryland plates.

Fantastic experience: I did drivers ed here and it was a great experience. we played games and they provided us with snacks and it was a really cool experience. most say drivers ed is boring but honestly it wasn’t and i had a really fun time at drivers ed. i would highly recommend coming here if you want to have a fun experience.
