Fantastic experience: Excellent experience and they give great skills to their students. I recommended safeway if anybody wants great future in driving.

Negative experience: Do NOT pay money to come to this school, this place is mostly students teaching students. They do not worry about your progress learning what you need to for DMV they just point where you need to go and don't explain why you are doing it. Also they only worry about their own kind of students who the majority of are Indian or Punjab. After 3 months of attending I have yet to go driving on the road after they told me I would be done within 3-4 weeks. Recently had a DMV appointment rescheduled which they blamed on the state and DOT when it was their fault. I then asked to go driving and was told they have to wait for numbers from DMV. Instructors disappear and leave students to teach themselves. The owner instead of teaching asks the students to help each other this place is a joke wish I wouldn't of wasted my time and money here.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and humble staff and trainers who train and teach the students. Got my CDL license in a couple of weeks all because of the trainers out there. I definitely recommend safeway school to get your commercial license to anyone interested, highly recommend this school. Fantastic experience: Great school, great teachers, they got me ready within 2weeks and a half. Had zero experience and in those two weeks they taught me what I needed to learn to pass my exams: pretrip, air brakes, in cab inspection skills and road. Muy buena escuela tienen dos maestros que hablan español que te explican y te dedican tiempo. Lo mejor que pude haber echo. Se las recomendó a todos los hispanos, no sigan buscando por que acaban de encontrar la mejor escuela de la area de Bakersfield y alrededores!

Safeway Truck Driving School took patience to deal with me, because every time I was behind the wheel I was overexcited and nervous. They helped me through it and helped me relax; they gave me positive feedback and told me you got this and you can do this. They were growing the positive. For me, to get a Class A is the best feeling in the world. I would tell anybody who wants to learn how to drive trucks to go to them.
