Negative experience: If I could give a negative 5, I would. Not professional at all. The system to schedule appointments suck, half the time it's down. Can't talk to anyone on the phone, only text. If this is your child first time driving, please don't pick this company.

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE!! Terrible website to navigate. Not user friendly at all. Customer support hung up on me with no call back! When I called back customer support, it went to a voicemail that stated I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full! This after all my money had been collected days ago! Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous I have signed up well over four months ago, I finished all my online only to be met with only to have the hardest time to do in car lessons I have only been able to start one in car and you have six months to get it done mine expires in September and I have only got one two hour lesson done out of the eight I have emailed back-and-forth and most of the time getting no response or get one days later even when texting the number they give you It is nearly impossible to get your in cars scheduled and done the driving portal for the in cars have been down for well over two months would not recommend this driving school i’ve had a horrible experience only person that try to help was Shari (she only one that really response back to me And tries to help me)
Negative experience: This company is horrible. You can't talk to anyone on the phone ever. You can't schedule your classes. Drivers that are supposed to pick you up are always late or always have mechanical issues. Been waiting over 6 weeks to schedule last 3 classes and no one will respond to text and voicemail box is full. Save your money call another company.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Kelly for the online class and SS for the in car portion of the Adult Abbreviated course. The information and learning to drive is similar across all driving schools, but the customer service, information and promptness of Kelly and SS made our experience exceptional. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a driving school. They were excellent to work with.
Negative experience: I signed my son up for in car lessons in January. He has completed most of his in car . He has 2 more sessions left and his last one was canceled a month and some change ago. I get it things happen but now it’s like a hassle to get him rescheduled or to communicate with this place at all. The classes we got scheduled we had to reach out to them ample times to even get that. They’ve would say online and schedule which does not work. They’ll tell you to email and when you do it’s silence . You text you call and no response. Iv been more than patient not to mention how disappointing it is for my son to not be able to get it finished. (Which makes me upset the most ) . As a business proper communication should be top of this list just a simple update on what’s going on especially when you pay so much money .
Hello… depending on the students availability some students may be harder to get schedule. We do let parents know before they start our program that it could take up to six months so if you sign your son up in January then we would have until June to complete the student. We have an entire team designated to responding to customer emails and text messages. Please text 216-288-9315 and please include your full name in the email address that you have been sending emails from that you have not received a response from also, please include the number that you have been texting because it’s extremely rare that our team which is ignoring your messages we do, however have issues with iCloud and we worn parents not to email from iCloud. However, our goal is not to shift blame please text 216-288-9315 so that we can see how we can help your son get completed faster in your text. Please include review because I looked in our system and so far I cannot even find your name.

Fantastic experience: Ms. S helped me a lot with driving! She was super nice and made me feel very comfortable. I am confident in my maneuverability and general driving ability. I definitely recommend going to this school, especially with Ms. S as the instructor.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with this school. Ms. S was my daughter's instructor and she was very good with my daughter. The communication was amazing. We left a different school that was terrible at communication. Public Safety was very quick to respond every time I texted. They also called me a couple of times when I had specific questions. They got us started quickly. They come to where the student is for the driving sessions which was important to me. My daughter passed her test today on the first try. I would recommend this school.

Negative experience: I took the online and in car course about 2 years ago. I know it’s been a while but I was thinking about my driving journey, how far I’ve come and how I wasted money on this place. Let me start off by saying that if you have anxiety about driving, this probably isn’t the place for you. This might not be true for all of the instructors who are in the cars, but my experience with my instructor (I forgot her name) was horrible. I was 17, no experience whatsoever and I told her I was nervous about driving. I was hoping that by taking this course I could get over my anxiety. However, she was very insensitive when I was in the car with her. She would be on her phone for the most part, didn’t give any tips but surely would get frustrated with me if I made a mistake. There were times where I would get so upset that I thought I would cry because she would be so condescending when I made a mistake. There was a time where she yelled at me that if I damage the car then it will go on my permanent record. She would also sigh when I did maneuverability because it just wasn’t clicking for me. I honestly dreaded the days I had to drive in the car because she would be there. Looking back, I would be pee’d too if I had a driver like my younger self in the car, but she is a professional(who also has a break on her side) who should know how to deal with it. I did have a good experience however, with the man they called Chief. I drove in the car with him one time. He distracted me, gave me advice and tips, and was very patient with me.
Negative experience: I wish there was a way to put a half star cause of how bad this driving school is. For starters, they have god forsaken communication, they don’t get back to you. I have been waiting weeks to get my certificates and have missed two driving exams because they refuse to get back to me, I have called three different phone numbers four times a day, texted two different phone numbers twice a day and have left tons of emails. They keep ignoring them. The next point I can make is that the actually driving instructors themselves don’t teach. The instructor I had just texted on there phone and worried more about stuff that went on in there personal life then they did my driving. The only time they put any effort into teaching was if they were afraid something might damage the car. I would also like to point out how unprofessional the driving school is, you’d think sense it’s run by cops (mainly) and other special force agents or first responders that it would be on top of there game but it’s not. They say it takes 1 day to return a phone call, I haven left four a day For the last three days and I have gotten no feed back, they say it takes five hours to respond to a text, I have left two a day and still no word back. The actual website itself is hard to navigate makes no sense and trying to sign up for it was ridiculously hard. A very unprofessional driving school I would not recommend it to anyone. For the amount of money I’ve paid it’s been over a year enrolled in it meanwhile my friends join ones in parma and they’re in and out in 4 months top! Don’t invest your time money or effort into this driving school cause I promise you it’s a waste.
Negative experience: If possible I would give zero stars. In may I received his online certificate of completion. Wrong name was listed. After several calls text and emails spoke with someone that said they would reissue with correct name. Here we are end of august with no certificates for completed online and in car sessions. Voicemail is always full. They don’t return text within 5 hours like stated on the message. Complete nightmare. Would not recommend to anyone. Don’t waist your time and money with this company.
Negative experience: I have my driving test in a couple of weeks and I keep calling to see how I can purchase a new certificate on the website but no one is answering my calls or text messages or emails. I need help!!
Fantastic experience: My 18 year old waited until the last possible second to take the abbreviated adult driver ed. I called Public Safety Driving School and luckily got Kelly who walked me through the entire process so everything could be finished in time for the driving test. The customer service was so above and beyond, I'm floored every time I think of it. In a time when you can't even get a person most of the time when calling customer service, this was unexpected and very much appreciated. Great job Kelly and thanks!

Negative experience: Driving school itself is fine, user friendly and very reasonably priced. However, it's very, very difficult to get a replacement certificate or get ahold of anyone. The initial certificate came in an appropriate amount of time, but it's been 3-4 months since we ordered the replacement....I understand there are shipping delays but several months with the place roughly 30 minutes away is not appropriate. Every time I do get in contact with someone they say it will be there soon/they'll look into it etc and nothing ever happens from that point. I'm absolutely willing to change my rating if we can get resolved because the driving school itself deserves a good review in my opinion. Update: five months later. still no certificate. can't even go in to pick it up because nobody is ever in the office. calling very regularly, i've only gotten in contact with a real person once (Kelly, who was awesome, but nobody ever answered the email she directed to me. Not her fault, very poor management it seems.)

Positive experience: The course was very user friendly and the content was easy to follow. We had to reach out to customer service, and our concerns were handled very professionally in a timely manner.
Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Ms.S and she was really helpful and patient and took her time and made sure that I got my maneuverability right because I was having trouble with it I, highly recommend her
Negative experience: Horrendous service, and possibly a scam. Bought the 24 hour driving course for teens and driving instructions package, and was very disappointed. Did not give access to lessons on the website that was supposed to host the lessons. After contacting support, it took over 10 days to receive a response. When the had corrected the issue on the website, the lessons were very faulty; they would occasionally lock the user out without any reason in the middle of a lesson (this is not referring to the verification or the daily lesson limit), and the interface would be bugged at times. A third of the time, the verification would fail to complete despite using the correct verification answer and that would also lock the user out of the course. We will not be completing the course with the provider and will be looking for another. Would not recommend this provider to anyone.

Negative experience: Please ignore the 5-star reviews from anyone with the last name of Satterwhite. It's their business, and leaving fake reviews is against Google's policy, and will be reported. A business can be shut out by Google for this practice.
Fantastic experience: Sent my son here, and am very appreciative for the online police encounter training. Being a person of color this was a necessity so my child would know how to conduct himself in the event of a real world encounter with law enforcement.
Fantastic experience: Provided a great driving educational experience for my nephew.
Negative experience: I had issues watching a video during one of the online lessons, which had before then been going on well. I was told to refresh the page, and I later realized I had misplaced my password. I was directed to reset it but this has not worked. All efforts to rectify this problem - via phone calls, text messages, online chats - have all proved abortive. And I am losing precious time. Anthony.
Fantastic experience: I loved having Mrs S and Antonio as instructors, they made the drives seems short and fun, i have never been so upset to have to leave a school. Being on these drives were pleasing, relaxing and informative rather than being a burden, I really enjoyed and learned a lot from here and i am genuinely sad that i finished. Great school, great people, great care, 10/10.

Fantastic experience: I was price matching for an online course and called several places and ended with a call to Public Safety Driving School. I spoke with a young lady, her name is Kelly, I explained my situation to her and that it was time sensitive, I had one week to make this happen. She explained that via mail it takes 7-10 days and to overnight the certificate it would cost $100. So i just didn't think it was possible..you know what Miss.Kelly did for me? Not because she had to but because she wanted to, she told me she would meet me with the certificate so i didn't have to pay the $100 !!!! That is just above and beyond. To be honest there where other schools that had a cheaper price but the minute she said that I was hooked! And honestly I'm to lazy to drive all the way to Cleveland so I just paid the $100! She is a game changer! Then to boot when i paid the $100 to have it overnighted it was at my doorstep 3 hours later, with a txt from her letting me know the driver was there! I am more than impressed with Kelly and the customer service this company provides. Thank you Kelly, a little interaction with you restores a little bit of faith in humanity! -Jamie

Negative experience: I got scammed, I payed 300$ for an online course and 4 hour behind the wheel training, I called to see what to do next, then they told me to email the customer service email they gave me, I emailed it multiple times, and after I did they never got back to me, even when I called them, they said to email the @customercare email address, and a few calls after that I was told the same thing, Don't waste your money here
Positive experience: Completed an adult-abbreviated course to re-take my driver's test which was $80. The certificate to verify my course completion was ordered two months ago and I don't think has ever been sent. Today will be my third time calling them; the run around for this is ridiculous. I tried giving them leeway-- about two weeks between each call in case there really WAS a shipping problem like I was told-- but it's abundantly clear now nothing's been shipped either times. (Also the phone number on Google no one picks up; it goes straight to a full voice mail box... For a BMV related service??) EDITED: From 1 star to 3. After three months delay, I finally received my certificate. In the end, I never received it through shipping. I was made a special arrangement for an in-person pick up for my Adult Abbreviated cert. of completion. I appreciate them working with me like that to get it done, but it's asinine what I had to go through to make it work. Please choose somewhere else or be more careful with your papers.

Fantastic experience: Ms. S is so nice and friendly! She made me feel a lot more comfortable during my in-car lessons. The 24-hour class is pretty straightforward, and I was able to finish the whole thing in only a few months.

Negative experience: I’ve Been calling for a week straight at least 20 times a day and nobody ever answers the phone. I’ve been waiting on my certificate for 2 weeks and still haven’t received it yet. I left voicemails and no one calls back.
This is a business, you cannot blowup the phones. We made you aware that the post office is experiencing delays. Please pick a fed ex option or same day delivery if you need the certificate faster. Calling 100 times a day after we have made you aware of this is disruption to our business.
Negative experience: Like many people in the comments, I have also taken the course online and have yet to receive my certificate after a month. If you call they send you straight to voicemail, but they have no issue replying to reviews about their bad service. Ironically. I spent over $100+ On this school just for this to happen?? Schools that are much cheaper have better service. SAVE YOUR MONEY. This place is horrible
We confirmed that your (adult) online certificate for failing your test with the BMV was shipped. The postal service are experiencing delays and we explained that things do happen with standard shipping. We offered to reship it at no additional cost. We do not control the US Postal service. Customers who need the certificate the right away go with faster shipping options which included tracking numbers.
Negative experience: I'm having a difficulty with my online course. I've tried to reach out via the phone and no one answer. I tried using their text chat line twice and there was no response after I explained my issue. I payed almost 100$ for the course but they are not answering calls or text. Please take precaution and chose another school if possible. If I don't receive an answer soon I will be disputing the claim on my payment.
This is not a true statement, we do expects teens to blow up the line for various reasons, not adults. We spoke with you on several occasions, however blowing up the phone line causes delays with us responding to other clients. Please do not blow up the lines. One message and our staff will get back with you. In case when a person calls 100 times non stop we are forced to block the number until they stop
Fantastic experience: Our daughter had taken driver's ed elsewhere, but needed some extra time to prepare for her test because she was still nervous about the maneuverability part. We decided to try Public Safety Driving School, because it wasn't working with me trying to help her practice it. After a couple of sessions with their in-car instructor, she finally felt ready to take the test and passed her first time.

Negative experience: I paid for my course earlier this month. I also gave the days that I’m available. I’ve been calling and no one has called me back, I also left a voice mail but no response. They send you an invoice through email and you can pay which is difficult because it doesn’t work. You can never get anyone when you call.

Fantastic experience: During the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff was very communicative and flexible in helping prepare our daughter for her driving test. They were always pleasant during conversations and they went out of their way to arrange driving times for her. During this unprecedented time, their support was invaluable. Due to Covid19 we aren’t fully staffed however we are still one of the fastest driving schools in Ohio as far as getting in cars completed and certificates out. The postal service are kicking back certificates without a legitimate reason. We appreciate parents like you who do not attempt to give bad reviews based on emotions. It’s been a pleasure assisting you and your teen.
Negative experience: My daughter finished the class almost a month ago and we paid the extra shipping to receive the certificates and have been in contact with the owner and still nothing. Don't know if I'll get the certificates in time for her test. Can't get an answer to when we will receive them or if we will receive them. Absolutely frustrating!! I even offered to pick it up. I have all the text messages to prove it.
We do not control shipping delays, we are always willing to reship in an event that the certificate doesn't arrive on time.
Positive experience: My name is Terrence Goldsmith my son Ezrom completed his in car hours, and needs his certificate to secure his license. We've called several times, and emailed with no response. We live nearby and could pick up the certificate and there's never anyone there. In reading other reviews for this business it appears this happens all the time. This is ridiculous!
Your teen certificate was hand delivered by our team the next day. We explained that to you that teens normally do not schedule their test for the next day, it doesn't give us time to process.
Negative experience: My son passed the 2 hour mark from online classes, and didn't receive his certificate of enrollment. After 2 weeks I questioned where it was. "Oh you have to pay extra for shipping". The terms clearly state that you only have to pay extra if you lose or misplace your certificate. Whatever, paid the money the money and nothing. 2 months of "where is the certificate" only to get brushed off. Finally they hand delivered the certificate of enrollment and the certificate of completion. I mail it into another driving school and they say that the certificate of enrollment is missing information. This seems to be a one man operation. Shalana satterwhite is listed as co-owner and has been my only contact for customer service. She has also left a review giving this place 5 stars. I wouldn't doubt that it's her friends giving her the other 5 star reviews. This place is already the most expensive, but the added 12$ hidden shipping cost just makes this place not worth it. They also use a google phone number to add to the sketchiness. My other son used driversed.com and they sent the certificate of enrollment, with no problem. People wouldn't mind paying extra due to the pandemic, but to not have fees listed up front is fraudulent. Lying, and saying the fee is listed in the terms, is also fraudulent. 2 months of my and my sons time wasted on this place. Almost twice the cost of other places. Wasted. Update: was told I can pick up the certificates between 12- 1. I get there and wait an hour. Seriously? How hard is it to use a printer? There were 2 other people waiting outside, you knew we were coming... Now I see their answer to their incompetence is to slander me for a negative review. I saved all emails, terms, and contract. Have receipts and bank statements to prove that is their business. I was seriously one step away from filing fraud charges and taking this to small claims court. I hope THIS TIME the documentation proves to be legit so I can be done with this place. Some words of advice for you "owner": Take pride in your business and put a sign out front to identify your business; Since I paid for shipping and came to your business instead, reimburse me my $12 shipping that I paid (maybe just charge more and have the shipping included in the cost, since there's obviously confusion); Don't slander your customers who are rightfully upset.
We have contacted google about this review and this person who is connected to another driving school. In our online contract it clearly states that the parent is responsible for the shipping fee, this is also listed on our website. Our fees are not twice the cost of other places and should that be the case you are welcome to signup elsewhere for a lower rate should you decide to do so.This review is false. This person has also had others list false reviews. Again we have contacted google about this person.
Negative experience: Paid for course for my son. He passed and never received a certificate. He never received an enrollment certificate or completion certificate. You need both to even register for your in car hours. We have called, emailed and chat them. The chat doesn’t work. Nobody answers the phone. We got 1 email response and nothing but promises. How hard is it to mail us his certificates? Hundreds of dollars down the drain and now we will probably have to pay someone else and start it all over. Buyer beware. 7-25-20. Received a call from customer service today. They are trying to make things right with us. Will edit this review Monday if his certificate is ready when I get there.

Negative experience: My son completed his online hours a few weeks ago , we couldn’t print out his certificate so we have been calling this school to get help with no response by phone or email My husband took time off work to drive out to the office and left a note on their door since no one was as there and still no response We can’t sign him up for in car classes without the certificate and his temps are expiring because of the pandemic . This is unfair , frustrating and unprofessional Horrible service Big mistake to go here Just saw another review saying you have to pay 12 dollars but that is not possible when we logged in to my sons account because the tab is grayed out So horrible and again unfair to these kids who worked hard to complete. Public safety Driving school Is apparently good at taking money but do not keep up their end of the deal
It is against the law for driving schools to send digital certificates or allow you to print them from offline. We can only ship certificates after the shipping fee is paid. Please contact our customer care line if you have any questions or concerns. Due to Cover 19 it is much faster to reach us via chat support/text at 216.288.9315 if we are on the other line with another parent. When signing up, this information is listed on the contract, there is no hidden information. You must pick/pay for a shipping option after you complete the course. We are allowing parents that live near by to pick up the certificate in person, as long as it's a scheduled pickup.
Negative experience: I've called to ask about shipping several times, no answer and no call back. The live chat doesn't work. I just have one simple question, it can't be that difficult to answer a phone.

Negative experience: 24 hour teen online course only is terrible. My granddaughter contacted customer service with questions about receiving her certificate with little help. Let's chat, never did get anyone to answer on there. Apparently after you complete the course you paid for, then you must pay at least $12 to have the certificate shipped to you. Upon completion of course their email sounds like you will receive certificate in 2-6 days. Very deceiving and poor customer service. Would not recommend this site.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at public safety driving school. Ms.S taught me a lot and she got my drives in immediately. I highly recommend this driving class and definitely recommend Ms.S as the instructor.
