Fantastic experience: This place is the best! After a horrible experience elsewhere, this place made me comfortable enough to try again. I tested with Maria and passed! They give honest feedback. I wish I came here sooner.

Negative experience: I had to pay twice a total of 70$ to take my test, i was told at first i could retake it for 20$ which was a lie. My instructor was very much older than me very quiet hard to hear her, she didnt give clear instructions on where to turn and stopped my drivers test because i turned the wrong way on a “red light”. My father was also in the vehicle very expierenced driver from the military and he never saw me run any red light. Worst expirence through this driving school. Instructors should be able to give their students clear instructions instead of arguing with the student about what they did or didnt do after the test.

Fantastic experience: This place is always haves good people,is 2 times in my life that I been there for my driver license test, once when I was teenager now in my 40s so it’s almost 25 years now and they still, and continue to treat people with the same personalized attention , it’s making you feel better of yourself and also making you feel as part of their family so if have to take a test drive today this is the perfect place good attitude good conversation and good treatment all the time. Examiner started the testing on time, explained everything that we should expect to happen, allowed us to ask questions, and followed procedure exactly as described. I was able to assist my friend as his Spanish interpretor and we worked together as a team to better serve him. Even from the day of registration at the office. The lady who scheduled the day of the road test was very professional and helpful providing information of the date and time of the appointment. Great job team!

Negative experience: It had nothing to do with the road test. The problem is that you can never get a hold of anyone in the office, ever and I have called on multiple occasions. I tried to cancel and reschedule the drivers test due to family emergency and not once but twice I was charged the $75 dollar fee when I should have credited and received a refund on the second charge, since I cancelled on time on line which was not the easiest to do. I am not sure what, if anything can be done to justify this wrong especially since the person who I was setting up the driving test for still needs to take the drivers test?? I am open to suggestions?? This was just a year ago or less from my last post.

Positive experience: 4/18/24 Well I'm proud to say that my niece passed her driver's education classes today. It was way too close (in my opinion) but she succeeded. I read many of the reviews for this school and, while I do understand many of the concerns that parents/adults expressed, I feel it necessary to comment on parental responsibility and commitment to helping/guiding our children. While I realize that we live in the day and age where everyone seems to be "too busy" or "overwhelmed" with day to day activities, I believe that the MAJORITY of adult drivers I see on the road NEED DRIVERS TRAINING themselves. Driving with cellphones in hand is rampant, out of control, and IS NOT being actively stopped by Police. I literally see DOZENS of drivers doing it every day but, for some reason, Police Officers do not see them. How can we as adults expect our children to excel (at anything) if we ourselves are so lacking that we are unable to assist them by example. I admit that I was fortunate to have a father who drove trucks for 47 years without an accident that was his fault. Because of this asset I was taught to drive at the ripe old age of 12 and was required (by my dad) to be able to back up any combination of vehicle/trailers by the time I had my permit at the age of 14. If parents take/make the time to truly help their children it WILL reflect in their driving skills/abilities. I admit that I was disappointed with my nieces PASSING score because it told me that, regardless of her intelligence, she wasn't always paying attention OR didn't put forth the full effort that I KNOW she is very capable of. Not being her parent, I had little control to aid her in learning the driving experience/responsibility/skills that she now has. Once she attains her permit from the Secretary of State, I have made the commitment to guide her with the limited knowledge of someone who passed his written CDL test with NO errors and hasn't had a traffic violation in more than 30 years. I will share my time to help her and I encourage others to do so as well with their family/loved ones. Thank You to Stroia and congratulations to my niece. Rick Zorn

Negative experience: I did seg 1 in 2022 i started i think in oct 2022 and ended nov 12th 2022. The instructor i had did not take me on my last drive on the freeway. He barely let me drive he was letting the other 2 people that was in my group to drive more than me. I cant even make left turns when its super busy because he never took me on the big roads So me an my mom recently was trying to get me the private lessons they kept saying they was gonna call us to set it up and they never did. I wish I remembered the instructors name. I do not recommend this place.

Negative experience: Manager robbed us out of $35 cash when my family has easily spent $500+ here over the past 8 years…. Steer clear

Negative experience: this should not be the school you send your kids to learn how to drive on oct 22 2023 i was directing traffic on reeck road at 7pm and it was dark with me wearing a reflective vest and with flashing red batons in me hands directing traffic directing one of their driving training cars to stop with a old man driving completly ignored me standing out in the middle of the road and came so close to me while driving past me the driver side mirror brushed against the back of the reflective vest i was wearing and then on saturday the 28th oct 2023 while i was driving down northline road heading west what looked like the same car at 10am with a old man in the drivers seat cut me off with no reguard to me at all and their was what i beleave student drivers in the car at the time no wonder there is so many disrecting drivers with no reguard to anyone else on the road today if they are being taught to drive by this school

Negative experience: My daughter was told by the appointment maker that the instructor was not concerned about parallel parking, and it made sense since parllel parking is a rare thing to do, so she didn’t bother practicing too much on it. Needless to say the instructor would not go further with the test because she didn’t do it right and so 70$ went down the toilet. A few days later I tried calling the office to ask if it was common for the instructor to do that but never received a call back from my voicemail. I think they should reimburse her for being misinformed by their staff.

Negative experience: Started doing the driving school at 17 they kicked me out when I was 18 because I was too old and still kept my money scammers

Negative experience: My child was chastised and berated for not knowing how to drive (its a driving school. Isn’t it their job to teach that?) They then threatened to fail my child unless I take her out (illegally) to practice in parking lots. When questioned about the legality of that, we were told “as long as no-one is around” The communication has been horrible and when I called with concerns, I received nothing but excuses. I have other children, but I will find somewhere else to go. This is beyond unacceptable.

Positive experience: I had Mr. Roghner as a drivers ed teacher and it was amazing I had fun doing the class and would definitely go back with him as a teacher however before him I had another teacher and it was not a good experience so thank you Mr. Roghner

Negative experience: My son took his road test and the woman instructor was in the parking lot blowing her horn at us for us to approach her car. We were a 1/2 hour early for this test & not sure why she was blowing her horn at us. She made us come to her car to tell us we are waiting for another instructor. We were glad the male instructor was going to complete the road test because the female instructor does not have a welcoming approach to set students at ease! Just smile lady !!!The male instructor great. Don’t know why my previous review was removed but I will continue to post this review so others can read our experience.

Negative experience: OUT OFF THE MELVINDALE LOCATION.. the previous female instructor was great very niceand informative..I TAKE MY KIDS THERE TO PRACTICE PACKING..Taking my second kid there to practice we came across a different instructor an older male instructor who was doing a test with a client. It was very evident he we strict and mean my his demeanor and attitude toward the female taking the test, I told my daughter hopefully you don't get him and you get the other instructor that test out of here. WELL UNFORTUNATELY WE GOT THE MALE, HE NEVER I INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO ME. EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.!! HE HAD THE SAME EXACT DEMEANOR TOWARDS MY DAUGHTER WHICH MADE ME UPSET. I was to fall away to get his full time towards my daughter BUT AS THEY DROVE BY TO PULL OUT OF THE LOT HE WAS LOUD AND MEAN TOWARDS HER MADE HER EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE AND WITH A YOUNG LADY TAKING A TEST THAT CAN OF BEHAVIOR WOULD MAKE ANY CHILD UNCOMFORTABLE AND MAKE A YOUNG DRIVER EVEN MORE NERVOUS AND SCARED THAN THEY ARE READY ARE...EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED..I WILL NEVER USE THIS SCHOOL AGAIN AS LONG AS THAT GUY IS TEACHING HE'S A DANGER TO THE KIDS WHO ARE TRYING TO DRIVE..THERE IS A REASON WHY ON THEIR WEBSITE YOU NEVER SEE GOOD COMMENTS ABOUT HIM ON THERE ITS ONLY THE FEMALE INSTRUCTORS..and yes there is more to the story not none of it is good...!!

Negative experience: First want to say I do recommend the classroom/training part of using this company however DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend the drivers testing part. I paid and saved a spot for the road test using their website online, they took the payment and sent us an email confirmation with our scheduled time and date. When we arrived the rude instructor pointed at us, signaled us over with her finger while sitting in her car. She RUDELY said “can I help you” I said yes, my son is scheduled for his road test... she said “ OH NO HE ISN’T HE’S NOT ON MY SCHEDULE” as she’s shaking it at me. I said oh yes he is and showed her my letter. She was so rude and said well it must have been our computer glitch, NOTHING I can do about it. And repeated nothing I can do about over and over. Saying you’ll have to reschedule. She also said call the office, I can’t help you. WOW ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?? So we found another business to take the test the same day and they were all professional, respectful, and extremely helpful.. She definitely needs to retire!

Negative experience: The school part was great, however the lady that does the tests in Taylor is very rude. We had an appointment today, when I went to tell her my daughter was here for her test. She said very rude can i help you, and proceed to tell us they didn't have any appointments today. The whole time with an attitude that was horrible. I hate giving bad reviews about places, but we are not going back to that one.

Fantastic experience: It was great. My driving instructor was actually Mr.Stroia, who by the way is a great man. I finished up my drives today and i will take my test on thrusday. But i honestly was bummed out when i took my last drive because Mr.Storia was like a friend to me. He is very very intelligent about driving and i learned so much from him. And im glad he was my driving instructor. But the class was great they give you everything and more to pass your test. And if your looking for a drivers educational school, i highly recommend this one. Im happy for you Mr.Stroia
