Fantastic experience: My instructor was very nice&calm. When you call leave a voice message and they will get back to you through text. Communication was very great wouldn’t take longer than 30 minutes to reply. I used their car for 6 hours training and used it for my road test. Each time for training he came to me and for my road test I met up with him. I paid after the service was given each time so it’s not a before pay. He taught me exactly what was expected on the test and prepared me well. He was also patient with me, and introduction was very clear.

My instructor was very patient and taught me tips I would always remember when I'm behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: Signed my son up for Matrix driving school so that he could get his 6 hours behind the wheel for his permit. Guy was his instructor and he was very friendly, flexible with schedule, and knowledgeable about the whole process. My son said he was very patient and made him feel at ease while driving and that he taught him a lot. Price was more than reasonable too. I have and would recommend this school to anyone who needs a good, thorough driving instructor for whatever the reason.

Negative experience: I had an appointment for my son at 7am this morning for his test the 8am and they never showed up. I had to emergency borrow a vehicle from a co-worker and call to tell my boss I'd be late. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Polite, helpful and knowledgable. It may not be a "big store" but I found that a great firearms retailer doesn't need a big store to provide you with excellent customer service. These guys know their business and if they don't have it they will get it for you or tell you how to get it. I am a customer for life.

Negative experience: Unless you live very local, it's probably not worth your trip. The staff is relatively friendly and polite, but that's about all there is here. It's extremely poorly managed and seems more like a hobby than a professional business. The hours are terrible. They are closed half the week. They close at 2 on Saturday, and are closed on Sunday as well. What? They have almost no inventory. It seems like their business model involves asking for payment in full, and then you can pickup the gun whenever it comes in. Prices are slightly above average, and in addition to not carrying inventory, they are also expensive for transfers as well. I was quoted a minimum $50 but told that the charge depends on the gun. I really didn't appreciate hearing that they arbitrarily charge based on firearm. $50 is already a lot of money for filling out a form and spending 5 minutes on the computer for the background check. I believe NJ only charges the FFL $15. Overall I was very disappointed with just about everything and won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: I have been searching for a "friendly neighborhood gun store" for quite sometime. I heard about Rayco Armory through several people and decided to give them a shot. I went in on a Saturday morning and was greeted by Ray himself. He was extremely, friendly, and knowledgeable. Within 30 minutes I made my purchase. While we waited for my background check, Ray offered me coffee and genuine, friendly conversation. I would recommend anybody looking to purchase to go to Rayco.

Negative experience: Well, I just wasted my time too! Drove more than an hour to get here only to find the place locked and dark during listed business hours(Thurs~1:00pm). To add insult to injury, the sign in the door said "open". I called before I left and got voice mail saying the inbox was full. The counters looked empty too so probably out of business.

Negative experience: I will come back to change this review later, but their site indicated their hours as being open until 5p on a Saturday. I drove almost 2 hours to get there and the door says "GOOD NEWS" and that they closed at 2p on Saturdays...even though their door still said open. Edit: After sending an e-mail, I received no response. Therefore I knocked it down to one star.

Fantastic experience: These guys are great. Always willing to answer any questions you have and treat new and old gun owners the same. The reviewer below me is clueless and doesnt understand they dont dictate how the market is. They cannot control what they pay for the ammo.

Fantastic experience: These guys are great. I was a new to shooting and they really helped me out with good information and even better service. They offer a good selection of ammo, cleaning advice/products, etc. that I needed as well. I exclusively come here for any sporting and gun needs. Also check out the zombie targets they carry. Really fun stuff.
