Fantastic experience: This is an amazing school to go throw when u are trying to get and obtain a license they did everything in there power and taught the classes so great it was a very lovely class and if I had to do it all over again I would do it with the same teachers and same staff thank you so much for helping me get my DL now I am looking forward to a lot more things in the future my daughter will be going through this class it’s easier on the children can’t wait to see her driving like her momma thanks again such sweet and great people 10/10 I do recommend and very affordable as well to things I like….

Fantastic experience: Previously I went to Overland Park DMV. I missed by 1 question twice. At check in, even the manager was rude. I then went to Olathe DMV, & was told I did not have proper paperwork, not explaining what I needed. The person(lady) showed my paperwork to a man in the next booth, I overheard him say to the lady, make sure he(me) doesn't try to use this paperwork again, attach a note. RUDE. A couple weeks later I went back to Olathe DMV. The lady at the check-in asked me if I had my social security card, I said I've never carried 1 on me. I had 2023 & 2024 Social Security benefits statement, & I said no 1 said I needed the card. The lady raised her voice & said I'm the manager here & no 1 would say that. She then said OK u can go sit down to take tests, I will NOT give u a paper license even if u pass. I sat for 1 minute & then went back & gave her my # in line & walked out. I'm 75 years old, disrespected at both DMVs, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I did not know what to do! Someone suggested i go to a driving school. I made a list of 5 schools to call. #1 on my list was Bi-State Driving School. I talked to a really nice lady & made an appointment to go in. I was met by Kristen, who was the in-class instructor. Then I met Cheryl, the owner. I was about 4-5 times older than the rest of the students. Treated everyone the same, with kindness & respect. 2 weeks later. I'm ready for my driving instructor, came to my home & was amazing, named Ben. 1 of the kindest person I ever met. It was a pleasure, & the experience absolutely AMAZING! Thank u to Bi-State. I've been driving for 8 yrs and recently got bad anxiety this school made me feel very comfortable after my permit test and 3 drivers i got my drivers license within 2 months!!! thank you all so much bi state you guys are amazing.

Kristen is an amazing classroom teacher who makes sure you understand everything! Dan and Brandon were very patient and friendly driving instructors! Negative experience: The Bi State Driving School car that was driving absolutely crazy this morning only had an adult male in the car. (So I don't think that you can blame this on a student!) Absolutely ridiculous! LOTS of people were upset by how this person was driving. I cannot possibly imagine sending someone to this driving school when (What I would assume is either the owner on instructor) drives like this themselves!!! Horrible!!

Fantastic experience: Getting my Theoretical Driving course in this school is an awesome experience. The instructor Kristen (I hope I got her name correctly) is a great instructor. She knows how to adjust to different learners from her class. I am looking forward to my Practical Driving Lesson and positively looking forward to pass my test

They have specific instructors they use for students like my son, who have high anxiety during the driving portion. Fantastic experience: I don’t even know where too start. I am happy with this experience I had with bi state driving school. Shout out too everyone who made me get my license and made it dream come true. I really loved how easy and fun they made me experience and I think it’s so worth it if you are In the process of getting one. They make it so easy for you and explain things very well and you don’t have too worry about stressing over the writing exam because they go over it with you the same day you take the in person class with them. I’d really too thank Kristen very much for her help through this especially Mary cate who helped schedule extra driving lessons. And Hugh shoutout too Dan I strongly recommend that you get him as an instructor 100%. He is the best.

Fantastic experience: I would totally recommend Bi State to anyone looking for a driver training school. It is evident that they really care. Moving to Kansas from out-of-state, Bi State helped us navigate the unfamiliar driving laws and enabled us to expediently get our teenager on the right track towards getting his first driver's license. Great classroom instruction and the friendly, caring attitude of the drive instructors was so refreshing. We will be bringing our daughter to Bi State when she comes of age.

Fantastic experience: Bi-State was the best decision we made for our teenager, hands down! Classes were well organized, very engaging and the information was clearly explained. Everyone who works there were kind, understanding and very caring to everyone. I can’t say enough great things about our instructors. I very much feel that they CARE about placing SAFE NEW DRIVERS on our roads!! My teen was initially was pretty anxious and not feeling very independent. During this process, watching her rise to the challenge, GAIN CONFIDENCE and meeting her goal in a timely manner has been LIFE CHANGING!! She is mobile!! If you are debating on whether to spend the money for driving school, I feel that driving class and instruction is far and above, a better method then having a child study independently. Also, the additional benefit of practice driving with an instructor, whom doesn’t panic and knows how to communicate effectively is far better than practicing with anyone not trained for this! If you’re looking for an excellent driving school generally speaking, I hope this review helps you feel confident in Bi-State! Our family is extremely satisfied with this entire experience. Negative experience: The in class lessons were good but the driving lessons feel like a complete waste of money. I got done with the in-class lessons in April. I won’t get to finish my driving lessons until July. My friend, who was with a different program, started on the same day as me and got done at the beginning of May. It’s absolutely ridiculous. If you need to learn how to drive quickly, then this is not the place to go to.

Negative experience: I feel like I wasted my time. My child only got to take one lesson here and I haven't been able to get another one. I'll call and get told someone will call me back. I wait weeks. Don't receive a call. I call again and it's the same thing on repeat. I think twice I did get a call back because someone canceled their appointment and that took awhile to get that call but both times the available slot did not work for my child because he was attending virtual learning/ in school. I was told he would be put on a list to receive a call when there was an opening. Never did. This was the end of last year 2020. I gave up for awhile. Now it's April 2021. I called again last week and it's the same thing. Was told someone would call and haven't heard anything. Not even someone calling to say that the schedule is full until or anything. The one lesson my son did get, they only drove. She said he did okay driving but they didn't work on anything else like parallel parking, backing up, nothing. Just let him drive all around town. I have been working with him also but he still needs tweaking so I am looking for help. I know you get a discount at some car insurance companies for having so many lessons but that one lesson from them is not going to count for anything and I am going to have to start over somewhere else.

They even pick up and drop off your child at their home location,which is amazing. My child felt great and confident after going through their program and could not wait to get on the road. Fantastic experience: Cheryl and her employees did literally everything in their power to get me finished with my license on time. They were kind, compassionate, and so incredibly accommodating. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon, Anna, and Tylar as my instructors and each of them were pleasant and fun to be with. I learned so much from all of the instructors and I really appreciate how hard this driving school worked to make me a safe driver (and get me finished with my license in a brisk manner). Seriously, my husband is a non-native English speaker and their main goal was for him to be comfortable 100% they let him bring translators to the classes and allowed me to "translate/be a security blanket" in the driving portion. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you so much for helping my husband get licensed. Anna is truly amazing!

Negative experience: I would let this place potty train my dog. Within 5 miles of interstate highway I saw the instructor make several lane changes and cut off a semi just to exit. Maybe they should practice defensive driving before they try to teach it. Wouldn't recommend a shotty service that teaches you how to pass the test instead of how to properly drive

Fantastic experience: Per the State of Kansas and Missouri students should have 50 hours of drive time and 10 of those at night. So when schools offer 6 hours of driving time for students to meet what the Kansas requires them to offer to be a driving school. I do not understand how anyone thinks they will be able to drive and not practice, when you go to work or school every place takes time and experience for you to be able to do it properly. While we strive to do the best we can to make everyone's experience the best we can, we are always listening to our students and work to improve their experience with us. Please remember that every person learns at different levels and students are to listen when you are being taught during our program and the reason why is that cars can be driven safely or dangerously and that is why we have even in our contracts and website . We can only change certain things with the program because they have to be approved per the state. We are working on new online systems to be make it easier for our students. So please call and ask us for information before reading one or two reviews. Sometimes there is more than one side to a story.

Fantastic experience: I would totally recommend going to Bi Sate Driving School. My instructor Anna was extremely nice, patient and humorous. The class was educational but she also kept it from being boring. She will work with you to make sure you feel comfortable behind the wheel and she will make sure you get as much practice need before your test.

Negative experience: Avoid! Here are the reasons: 1. The in-class part. It is mostly (boring) video showings. You will be able to find educationally and instructionally better videos on Youtube. And on Youtube you can watch at your convenient time. 2. The driving part. First, they scheduled much, much later time (three months) after the video shows even though we were told that the driving part will take place shortly after the video shows. I think their problem is that they allow more registrations than they can accommodate. We run into a MAJOR scheduling problem: the video shows were in early June; the driving was scheduled for September during the school sessions. 3. After much protest and threat to call my credit card to dispute the charge, they scheduled back-to-back driving sessions in August and with a part-time instructor. According to our son, the driving sessions were very similar to the ones we provided to him. Nothing special. So we paid $420 for some video shows and five hours and 30 minutes of very casual driving "instructions". We will report to the BBB and will place similar reviews on Angie's List and elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic School- great instructors really help you feel relaxed and in control even if you are nervous going into it or new to driving. Really made sure I was not only qualified but comfortable on the road when I finished the course!

Negative experience: This is one the worst school in kansan & Mussoorie. They have cheated me 570 dollar without giving license. They do not listen any things if you tell relevant things also. They tell to practice your self. If we practice & learn our self , We would have given test in dmv office only. Please, never join this school.They are doing cheating behind of running driving school.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved this school! I was very anxious about starting to drive, and they made sure i was comfortable before moving on to new things. If me or the instructor didn't feel like i was ready for my test, they were willing to move my last lesson so i had time to practice more and wouldn't have to get a re-test. They were also A LOT more friendly than other schools i contacted, which made me feel so much better. Thank you so much for helping me get my license!!
