Fantastic experience: Thompson driving school was truly the class I needed to learn about driving and the road life. It is quite hard to study for such things alone but going in this class really helped me. His nervousness with me seemed to slow our progress, but the instructors in the car taught him to drive all over Little Rock with little issues. I love that I can have him drive anywhere and everywhere knowing that he will be super safe and calm.

Fantastic experience: In 2021 I took the course to get more understand about the roads so I can be safe driver. It help me lot so I can pass driving written test. I pass driving permit written test last November 2023 at 29 year old. Yesterday May 17th I took my first driving lesson, but I already know little about driving on the road cause my mom taught me how to drive when I was 14. I want do this lesson to make should I understand more and be safe driver. Also it help me lot to be prepare for the real driving road test. The instructor name Jamie help me lot and explain really good to me about road. She said I did good, but she want me to keep practicing. I going to keep practicing before I go take road test. Fantastic experience: Our son was really discouraged after his second failed attempt to pass the written exam. We heard about the New Driver Education Classroom at Thompson Driving. The program gave my son the knowledge and confidence to pass the exam, the day after completion. He did so well that he was able to pass without answering the final 2 questions. Positive experience: They did a great job teaching my kid. However, they will not respond to our emails and phone calls about obtaining the certificate. This caused us to lose our insurance discount. That is really frustrating.

Had a emergency and child could not make it for a lesson that A-1 Thompson Driving choose and they where not willing to reschedule for a prepaid lesson. They never have availability and will even harass you to set lesson when this company need to generate income and would want you to pay for weeks before hand for a slot that they have available not what you c

Positive experience: Don't know the teacher's name, but he had a good attitude. Mind you, I'd rather die in a car accident than take the class again. But that's the court fault, not his, i recommend.

Fantastic experience: Thompson's did a fantastic job of preparing our teenager to drive. The course was informative and prepared her for the written portion of the test. The in-car lessons were key to building her confidence and reinforcing the reminders she didn't want to hear from her parents over and over again. The staff is responsive and friendly and Brock was super helpful in getting some questions answered for our insurance company. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Robert is a fantastic instructor! It's a very interesting and interactive class. I highly recommend them for teaching your teenagers to drive or even adults that want or need a refresher course or wanting to get their drivers license. The manual is very extensive and covers more than the driving manual and it's even easier to understand. Plus, many insurance companies give a discount when you have the completed certificate from the class.

Fantastic experience: We went with the Behind the Wheel package and were very impressed. The instructors were all informed, provided helpful tips and suggestions, and well-acclimated to working with teenagers. I would definitely recommend this program to any parent wanting their child to gain strong driving skills. They instructors covered a full spectrum - driving around town, merging onto and driving on the freeway, parallel parking, and navigating downtown. We are very happy we went with Thompson Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I'm very happy I was told about this driving school by a friend. My 14 year old lacks confidence and is very reserved. He was ok that I signed him up for the new driver course. After the first class I knew he was engaged. He spoke highly of the instructor Rob and he was quizzing me about the rules of the road. By the end of the week he had so much confidence he continuously kept quizzing himself to reach a 100%. When it was the final test day he finished quick. When we asked how was he able to take a big test on material he just learned in a few days in just minutes, his reply was "I knew the answers. It was easy". He went and took the real drivers permit test days later and walked away with his permit the first try. As a parent I want to give my son the best knowledge that he will use his whole life. I'm very pleased with the education he received and will refer as may new drivers to Thompson Driving School to get the best education they can get.

Fantastic experience: Excellent in every way!! The owner and staff at Thompson went above and beyond for my son. He took the class for the written test which was excellent. Because of a medical condition, he had to use a left-foot accelerator. Brock Thompson worked with us extensively to make sure he was able to have individualized driving instruction. I can tell they genuinely care about their students and about their safety. I will be enrolling my younger son in class soon. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I took the learning course of the thompson driving school and it was perfect. The way they taught and explained made me understand the ways of driving well and it was a good learning experience. They put enough pressure on you so you knew the risks of driving but taught you enough that you can stay safe while driving. The teacher ,Robert Bennet, was a lovable fellow who taught well and had enough experience and qualification to be teaching us and had many dad jokes to share with us all. The Thompson driving school is a great place to bring you or your children to learn how to drive a car and learn how to stay safe on the roads. I highly recommend you attend their school.

Fantastic experience: In only a matter of 5 days I myself (a 16 year old with limited to no driving experience) was able to absorb the information with nearly zero studying and get 115 out of the 125 questions correct. It may seem like a lot at first but when you pay attention and write down some notes during the class you'll be successful. While the state police test requires a 25 question test with only 5 mistakes and you can get 115 questions right out of the 125 then the state test should be a breeze. After getting my permit I'm definitely going to try out the driving lessons.

Positive experience: Had to take the course because of a court order. The class was 6 hours long on zoom (COVID-19). The asked the students to give a review, so here I am. I didn't feel I learned to much over what I already knew, I do disagree with some of the materials covered when it comes to knowing your rights as a citizen pulled over by the cops. Some might find all the advertising to be funny, I personally don't care for all the ads in the coursework. The instructor did do a good job of speaking without making me fall asleep and tried to include some humor.

Fantastic experience: Senior Driving Capability: Asked Mr. Thompson to independently evaluate the driving skills of my 86 yo sibling. He was, of course, professional in his evaluation of her capabilities. Equally impressive was his courtesy, thoroughness, and tact. He provided an independent, unbiased evaluation which broke a tie, and allowed my sibling and the family to proceed with preparations vital to senior well being. Huge! It is equally important that the highways are safer due to his efforts. Thank you Thompson Driving.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Thompson driving school. I took their 8 hour Saturday course and really learned a lot! The instructor Rob made taking the class enjoyable by engaging with the class and not just reading from the slides. I learned some new laws and driving suggestions that I didn't know about before (I was never required to take a driving class before getting my license). I think the slide that had the biggest takeaway for me was the this table showing how much time you save by speeding. I always justified speeding by saying I was saving time, but to see just how little time I was really saving had a big impact on me.

Negative experience: I was kicked out of class for not providing a phone number. Supervisor seemed unconcerned that instructor booted me from class. This was a court-ordered class.

Positive experience: I attended driving school here after getting a traffic ticket. The price is reasonable at $40. The instructor was good, but I think he could have spent more time on teaching the actual content. Instead, a lot of time was spent on showing too many videos and images of accidents (many of them are very graphic), and telling jokes and stories. While I understand the need for some of that to keep the class awake, I thought it distracted the students from the main topic. Nevertheless, it was useful and served as a good refresher on safe driving practices.

Positive experience: The instructor cursed often. Very offensive. Otherwise, good.

Negative experience: The worst thing I’ve ever experienced!!!! Never go here because you don’t learn you only get traumatized by seeing crashes, get sick by looking at dead and decapitated bodies, hear personal stories from an EMT about deaths he experienced and how body parts look like they were blended up!!!!! There is no learning!!!!!!! Only scaring!!!!!! AWFUL PLACE!!!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: Classroom setting was great, but I believe it should be more behind the wheel lessons for beginner drivers.

Fantastic experience: I was impressed with the defensive driving course they provide on Saturdays. It was informative and entertaining at the same time. I will send my employees and children to their courses in the future.

Fantastic experience: I was fearing the class would be boring and a big time waste .But today in Batesville the instructor- I think Rob, did a great job specifically with explaining tactical ways to avoid accidents and the demonstration provided meaningful tactics for self defense. This was court mandated for me.

However you ended up here, you are one of the lucky ones. The classroom education and practical driving experience the folks at Thompson Driving School provided to my child are literally priceless.
