Negative experience: Bill canceled lessons for my son at our 3rd lesson and we have not heard from him since. Don't know if something is going on, but funds were paid in full and we did not get our full service.

Negative experience: If I could put a zero star I would. We scheduled a driving lesson we paid and money was deducted from my account. Up until the lesson date the schedule was on the dashboard, once the lesson time passed the dashboard no longer showed her appointment. Time of appt. 130pm and no call or show up to date. Called and texted the school with no response. I would not recommend this place, seems like a scam.

Negative experience: Ive been calling for a week and left messages no response is this place closed ? Or have another number i can contact some one i paid for a groupon 2 hour session and cant get in contact with anyone

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible experience. I scheduled a driving lesson, and the instructor never showed up. No call, no text, nothing. Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time. If you actually want to learn how to drive, go somewhere else because this place clearly doesn’t care about its students. (Don’t bother replying with a snarky response when you couldn’t even take a second to send me a message, but you have all the time in the world to reply to reviews.)

Fantastic experience: I need 10 stars for this business !! I decided to get my son a driving lesson with Bill and it was the best decision for my son and I! Bill has a great gentle nature about him just a cool guy he made my son feel at ease and relaxed about driving ! When it was time for the drivers test I utilized the service of Bill picking my son up giving him a 90 minute refresher course then taking him to the test at DMV and my son used his car for the test. I highly recommend Bill and his service don’t even bother to contact anyone else you won’t be disappointed!!

Negative experience: Unprofessional and acts like a baby when he is brought to task about his rescheduling of 5 lessons. Nice at first but don't upset him because he will turn on you!!! Turns out he is also a LIAR I never told you that my daughter had her permit and by the way Coastline takes her further and has already had 3 night lessons!!! You are truly Pathetic.

Fantastic experience: Bill is amazing!! he took my teen out for two hours and taught her a few things that I did not know. & he took her on the DMV path so she would have an idea. He’s very knowledgeable very funny and totally relatable. I would recommend him for any new driver and have already sent his stuff to other friends with teens. Positive experience: I booked the package for 90 min and the use of the car for the test. I had Stiven as my instructor, and he was so nice, helpful, and amazing. I passed my test. The reason it is not 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is just because there was a little problem while I set up the schedule. Other than that I don't have any problem.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing school, Bill my instructor is such a wonderful person and was the key reason I was so brave when driving. He guided me and helped me improve I wouldn’t have gotten this far in driving if it wasn’t for him believing in me. He is a down to earth person and genuinely talks to you like a person instead of a student. Every drive was a learning experience and an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world. Negative experience: Beware of Bill! He is greedy and unprofessional. I paid for an introductory lesson for $99 and for $199 for 90 minute refresher and use of the car for the driving test. Unfortunately we were not able to do the driving test because of an error made making the appointment. We scheduled another appointment to do the driving test and Bill charged us another $150. He said he was going to do a two hour refresher the day before of the driving test, but he came late and dropped us off early. We didn't pass the driving test. Bill is not a good driving teacher. We asked Bill if we can use the credit to use the car for another driving test since we already paid for one that we weren't able to use initially. He said he is sorry but can't do that. He says it's not his fault that we made a stupid mistake by making the wrong appointment. He also called us despicable, crazy and drunk! He seems very nice and eager at first but totally different once he already gets your money. Please do yourselves a favor and stay away from Cruise control driving school.

Fantastic experience: I just had my first drivers lesson at the age of 39. I was very fearful of driving, but this is the longest I've driven and the first time driving in Vegas on the street. He made the experience easy and safe. I am waiting on my next lesson

Negative experience: I’m convinced all these reviews on this school are done by family and friends because my experience was terrible. I set up the date for my son to take the driving school, paid the money through Groupon, and everything was set. Got an email from Bill days later saying he hurt his back and he had to cancel the class; last we ever heard from him. He kept our money.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Bill, and he was amazing! At first, I was unsure whether I needed to go to driving school or not. After my lesson with Bill, it was clear that I needed it! He taught me so many things, while also making sure i was confident with my driving by the end of the day! I’m the type to be nervous when im driving on the road, however Bill was so kind and patient that I felt very comfortable. If you’re thinking about booking with Cruise Control Driving School, do it!

Negative experience: Be careful--I would not use this company or Bill. Instead, use a more reliable, less-flaky, less rude driving instructor. We scheduled a driving lesson for our 16-year-old. Then, right before the lesson, Bill asked if we could reschedule due to a family emergency. This was fine, and we had no issue rescheduling to accommodate Bill's family issue. Then, a week later, Bill asked if we could reschedule again due to a family issue. Again, we had no problem accommodating Bill. So, to reschedule, Bill proposed that we schedule two driving lessons for the following week on back-to-back days. Thus, as Bill proposed, we scheduled these back-to-back lessons. But, then, the day before the first lesson, Bill asked if we could reschedule again--this time, not because of a family issue, but because Bill now said that having lessons on back-to-back days was "not good for our 16-year-old." However, Bill could not explain why it was not good (especially since it was Bill who proposed doing back-to-back lessons IN THE FIRST PLACE). Nor would Bill provide any specific time to reschedule the lesson--instead, he simply said that he'll get back to us later to reschedule. At this time, we also started getting the feeling based on these circumstances (and also strangely-worded texts from Bill, including to our 16-year-old) that Bill was flaky, weird, or this situation of constantly needing to reschedule was suspicious. So, in response, I asked Bill to either (1) keep the back-to-back lessons as he originally proposed, (2) provide us with a specific time for the rescheduled lesson, or (3) refund our money. In response, Bill got angry, would not provide a specific time for the rescheduled lesson, and said that he was only trying to do what was best for our 16-year-old (yet, again, he could not explain why back-to-back lessons were now, all-of-a-sudden "not good"). Bill then told us to get another driving instructor and that we would get our refund within 3-5 days. However, after a week and not yet receiving the refund, I followed up with Bill to simply let Bill know we had not received the refund and to ask the question: "When will we receive the refund?" Bill responded angrily again, accusing me of harassment and trying to insult me by saying I don't know how this works. (You'll see that Bill tries to act overly nice, but he gets angry easily and quickly resorts to acting like an unprofessional child). I then replied that there is no harassment and I simply would like to know when we will receive our refund. However, Bill didn't respond. Instead, a short time later, I checked my credit card account and saw that Bill finally BEGAN the refund process only AFTER I sent my follow up text. In short, he didn't process the refund when he said he would (he's unreliable--as shown by this refund issue and the prior scheduling issues). Further, despite the fact that I can plainly see on my credit card account that Bill did not BEGIN the refund process until after I followed up, Bill then sent me another angry text, with lots more insults (he even called me "emotionally unbalanced," simply because I followed up with him about the refund) and more lying about him beginning the refund process a week ago--even though I have the credit card records to prove he's lying. In short, Bill likes to put on a front of being nice, but is really unprofessional, unreliable, doesn't take responsibility for his own actions, and likes to place blame anywhere but on his own failures. Based on other negative reviews (including on different platforms), it looks like Bill always tries to dispute negative reviews and make it look like it's not his fault (again, Bill doesn't act professionally or take responsibility for his own actions). So, I imagine Bill will make something up to try to justify this negative review (and maybe even continue making unprofessional insults towards me). But, rest assured, despite whatever Bill tries to say or make up, we have the evidence (including text messages) that support this negative review. I'd stay away from Bill or Cruise Control.

Fantastic experience: Bill is an outstanding driving instructor. During our lesson he was patient, clear and encouraging. Definitely made me feel less nervous and helped me gain my confidence. I highly recommended this school to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive driver instructor! --- This version is brief but still highlights the key attributes and positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Bill did an amazing job teaching my daughter to drive. She was very comfortable with him throughout her lessons (more comfortable than driving with her parents). I couldn’t be more appreciative of him preparing her for her drivers license. She passed with flying colors. Thank you for all you have taught her. Fantastic experience: I've been going back and forth for months on whether I wanted to invest in driving lessons or teach my son myself. We scheduled the 2-hour introductory class, and I'm so glad I did. Bill is so kind and patient and informative. If you were to make a list of the perfect driver instructor, Bill would check all of the boxes. My son wanted me to come along on the drive, and Bill happily encouraged that. And I think I learned just as much as my son did, especially learning how I can better teach him on my time. I wholeheartedly recommend Bill.

Fantastic experience: After 8 months of avoiding to drive out of anxiety, I can confidently say that Mr. Bill is one of the best driving instructors out there! I'm the first driver in the family, since I grew up commuting by the public bus. I didn't have immediate family to teach me, and the whole process of getting a license and a car registered etc. seemed largely overwhelming. I kept pushing back the idea of driving, and it became something I was too scared to traverse all on my own. After working with Mr. Bill, his patient and kind guidance allowed me to feel a lot braver tackling the roads. He pushes me to learn skills and try roads I'm afraid of, while also reassuring me and taking my comfort into consideration. He also provides funny commentary--not to mention you might even get hungry after talking about food! I would refer any of my inexperienced (or experienced) friends to Cruise Control. I found this company after a lot of research and comparisons. I personally chose the New Driver Package, which beats the last driving school I attended in affordability--especially as a college student. Mr. Bill has taken the time to help me learn at my own pace while I fix bad habits, and I feel a lot more confident for my test in the next week. Coming from a college student, it's never too late to learn, and it's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of! Negative experience: Unprofessional and racist. Tried to get some lessons from bill but he didnt want to help me for some odd reason. All I did was treat him with respect but for whatever reason, he have some type of animosity towards me I don’t know why

My son Christian needed a lesson on city driving and Bill’s feedback was essential! He communicated before, during and after - I was really blown away by the personalized service he gives. Bill helped Dallin learn the skills necessary to not only pass his drivers test easily, but he went above and beyond to further teach extensive defensive driving skills in all scenarios. Dallin really enjoyed driving with Bill because he made cool analogies with sports that he could relate to. This helped build confidence for Dallin driving in every situation. I appreciate that he was so available for questions if we had any and we did. Dallin took his drivers test in the pouring rain and wasn’t nervous at all despite the conditions because Bill had prepared him, and gone over key points to think about and expect while driving! We were very pleased with his program and highly recommend cruise control driving with Bill for every teenager!

Fantastic experience: I came into driving with so many fears. I am not a teenager and the fear of being on the road was very real and scary for me as the years of not driving passed on by. I tried a few different instructors before I found Bill, and the world of a difference was evident. From the first time I got into Bill’s car, I instantly felt reassured and comfortable. Bill took the time to understand me and hear what I needed to help me get through this. He was patient, understanding and wise when instructing me on the road. Bill catered his lessons to my individual needs, fears and level of learning. He not only prepared me for the test, but helped me to build my confidence for all of my future driving. He challenged me to go out of my comfort zone and learn the skills. If there was anything that needed correcting, Bill mentioned it in a sensitive and constructive way where I did not feel dejected by it but empowered to learn more. Before I met Bill I honestly believed that I would just never drive. He has helped me overcome that hurdle and beyond! Fantastic experience: These are always hard to write, my daughter was having a hard time felling comfortable driving and I work nights. I found Cruise Control driving school and spoke with Bill on the phone and he came over and talked with her. He talked to her about the joys of driving and the freedom of the road but made sure he talked about safety.
