Fantastic experience: Went here in 1978 senior year of high school. So glad they're still in business. They were great. I remember they showed us a movie to secure our committment to safe driving once we got our licenses. It was called Signal 30...and old movie but very effective. It showed quite a few graphic accidents that made us get the message. And believe me...we did. Winchester Auto.....still going strong !!

Fantastic experience: After many years of having anxiety & not feeling like it was something I would ever accomplish, I am beyond excited to say I passed my drivers test today! Winchester auto school was a major part in helping me achieve this major goal. Not only did they take major amounts of consideration regarding my anxiety, they also stayed professional through the entire process! David, Nash & William are all amazing workers & take pride in making sure things are done correct & you are comfortable at all times.

Fantastic experience: I used them for driving time and sponsor for the exam. I passed, with some great support from William. Nash, the customer service/sales/phone person was phenomenal! I had a situation outside of the normal, which I must say she handled with expertise, kindness, and understanding! She is true gem with phenomenal customer service skills! Fantastic experience: My husband and I had an excellent experience with Winchester Auto School. Being experienced drivers ourselves, we only needed to rent a car with a sponsor. We visited their office two days ago to schedule today's road test appointment. David served as our sponsor, and we couldn't have been more pleased with his assistance. He was not only courteous but also highly professional, helping us become acquainted with the car and the road. David also provided us with invaluable tips to prepare for the road test. As a result of his guidance and support, both my husband and I successfully passed the road test. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to David and the entire team at Winchester Auto School.

Fantastic experience: We used the car rental and sponsor service for road test. The Best Experience Ever!! The receptionist is very kind and helpful. The instructor David, is very professional and nice. He showed us everything we need to know for the road test and emphasizes a lot on key points. My wife and I passed the exam smoothly. A bit pricy, but it’s worth it!

Positive experience: Thanks to William I was able to pass my road test on the first try. He was very informative, encouraging, and respected my time and money. I will say the lessons are a bit expensive for one hour and honestly didn’t seem worth it until I was given William as an instructor. The receptionist is always kind and helpful when answering the phone. I did use them for my car + sponsor. Unfortunately that process wasn’t as smooth as i feel like it should have been. I was double booked and had to ride around with another student( before the road test) which took away from 1 on 1 time that either of us could’ve needed before the actual road test. I was also given a different sponsor who wasn’t very kind and very short which honestly made an already stressful day even more stressful. Another thing is different instructors will teach you different things so it gets kind of confusing if you have multiple people telling you to do something a different way especially 15mins before the exam. But ultimately grateful for the tools and experience given to pass the exam.

Fantastic experience: Awesome driving school! It took me over 2 years to get my license because I went at a very slow pace, and Winchester helped me through the entire process. Nash is so kind, caring, and helpful! And Gary is a wonderful driving instructor; he is patient and will teach you exactly what you need to know for the test. He gave me the confidence to finally book my road test and I passed on the first try! I would definitely not have been able to get my license without their help. I would absolutely recommend them for your driver’s ed/adult lessons/car rental!!

They were super helpful throughout the road test process, and helped me pass. William was an excellent and patient instructor. He truly gave me the confidence to be calm and relaxed for my test. He will teach you all the skills to pass on site. He was even able to help me last minute with my parallel parking skills, and it came out great during the test. I 100% recommend this school!!

Fantastic experience: My son was in his mid 20's when he decided he wanted to learn to drive and get his license. I called Winchester Auto School to inquire about getting lessons for my son who had never driven a car before. The office staff are very friendly and informative, and they told me that they have a specific instructor named Ed who specializes in teaching clients who have never driven a car before. My son took several lessons from Ed who taught him not only all the correct things you need to do when driving a car, but also how to follow the rules of the road. Winchester also made the driving test process so easy! They use a rental car for the driving test. My son scheduled his test date online with the registry and paid the test fee up front, including the fee to get his license. By doing this you avoid long lines at the registry! The process was simple and very easy! Nash who works in the office as well as the other office staff were very professional and friendly. They made scheduling my son's driving lessons a breeze! And they were always happy to answer any questions I had!!! My son now has his license and is so proud of his accomplishment! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Winchester Auto School!!!

Negative experience: David is a very good teacher. Even if my English is not very good, he is patient enough to teach me. But another sponsor was very unfriendly. I applied for the road test at springfield. I spent $140 renting a school car to take the road test. Before the exam, the sponsor let me practice. He didn't introduce himself before getting in the vehicle, so I didn't know his name. My English is not very good, so I did not know he asked me to get in the car, and he did not have the patience to explain to me, but very angrily said to me: "what are you waiting for?" In the car, the sponsor was very unfriendly, spoke loudly to me, and he was very impatient. Another examinee in the car also told him that I could not understand what he said, but he continued to use an unfriendly attitude towards me and even spoke Spanish to me on the way. I am an Asian and you decide to talk Spanish to me. What does this mean? Are you humiliating me and despising me? He is definitely not a professional teacher or sponsor.

Fantastic experience: I took lessons with David, great guy, very informative and professional. Made driving much easier considering it was my very first time on the road. He was very thorough and on point with what to expect on the test and how to drive safely. It was the best investment and preparation I did. Fast forward, I successfully passed my road test. David and the whole team were friendly, informative, dedicated, professional and accommodating. Joe gave me a quick practice before the test which was great! Fantastic experience: Excellent service! I called 24 hrs earlier and scheduled to rent a car for the road test and to use them as sponsor. They told me to get there 45 min early with $140 cash. Joe, a great guy, took me out for a very helpful practice ride and showed me everything expected on the test. Great guys.

I had David as my instructor, but I've also had Ed and I believe William (sorry if I'm wrong) but they are all great. They make you feel relaxed they talk you through everything and they. With all that said I took my test today and I passed. I highly recommend them They are really worth every penny, I also used them as my sponsor and Joe took me out before the test and I also feel like that was a big help. So if anyone is looking for a school I say this is the perfect one. Also the Staff is super nice and friendly, Nash is amazing as well!

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my decision to schedule with this driving school. The secretary, Nash was very attentive and explained everything very well. I love that they offer lessons Saturdays and she had one available this Saturday. I've had bad experience at another driving school and I'm glad I made the right choice in calling this school. Update: Thanks to William I passed my road test. He gave me awesome pointers and taught me things that the last driving school didn't teach me.

I didnt go to driving classes but I did book a sponser and rental Winchester driving car. Negative experience: I'm sorry but I need to say that I pay $120 for 5 minutes and then fail again, and now because the instructor and the sponsor was talking all the way and the instructor never seemed my maneuvers. She just talk with him and she said I don't make the blind spots. And really, I can swear that I do my blind spots properly.

Negative experience: Very expensive and overrated. I learnt hardly anything from this school. The driver was curt and didn't provide a full hour of lesson. Save your money and go elsewhere. The competition is much better for a much lower price.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Winchester Auto School. I needed their services because I was scheduled to take a road test but my car did not have a middle console hand brake that is required. From scheduling to receiving the rental, everything was seamless. The woman who booked my appointment was extremely kind and professional and the older gentleman who brought the car was the same. Not only was he at the RMV 10 minutes earlier than what was expected, he allowed me to take a test run of the route that I would be driving for the test. He gave me great advice that I implemented during the exam which ultimately allowed me to relax and better focus on what I was doing. Overall I would recommend Winchester Auto School to anyone in need of a reliable road test rental company.
