Fantastic experience: This will be my 3rd driving school I worked with and I had an amazing experience!! everyone in the office was polite and very informative also my instructor Mr. John was amazing he was very friendly and helpful , he gave me a lot of useful tips for my test this being the 3rd time I was very nervous but thanks to him he gave me the confidence I needed and I’m very thankful for him because of Santos I have my license now and was worth every penny. Thanks again.

Negative experience: I called to sign my son up for driving school but the woman who answered the phone clearly doesn't speak English. She was really rude and hung up on me. What a Punta. So, I guess we'll take our $770 elsewhere. Thanks for nothing. You should really have English speaking people who answer the phone. We're in America.

Fantastic experience: Man I just finished my drug & alcohol testing here today.. I had a blast. The instructor is literally an old Latino with a big heart. Reminds me of my grandpa man he just wants everyone to pass and do good in life. Don’t come here to waste time tho these are serious people who take there jobs seriously as they should. You will learn a lot from these people, truthfully an unforgettable experience good job santos

Fantastic experience: I loved my experience here the 8 hour drug and alcohol class was really good, the 2 hour on the road was excellent they really help you on what to do and how to do it and what it’s like to do the road test for your license I passed my first try with them and it was really easy to get my license also I went there because my mom and grandpa went and they passed it as well so definitely will suggest this driving school to other people

I took two lessons with Santos Driving School In Hartford and was assigned driving instructor Kevin C whom is kind, professional, caring, and funny, making my driving lessons fun and accurate! After taking my two lessons along with having prior experience behind the wheel, I scheduled my license test with the Santos Driving School in Rocky Hill once I felt I was prepared and passed on the first try! Thank you to Kevin, Yari, and Sasha from the Santos Driving School in Hartford for taking part in my success! I am very grateful and recommend this school for beginners and experienced drivers. The classes are affordable and you will be satisfied with your choice of service!

Negative experience: You could find better lessons just watching hartford residents drive instructor and receptionist were rude and deplorable I feel bad for anyone who had to deal with Bruce and his shortcomings on being a respectable and decent teacher. These people who work here hate their jobs so much they make it seem like I'm working my dream job. How bad do you have to mess up to be working at a driving school. I bet their parents are very proud of them

But now, unfortunate, the receptionist or the person who helps with information in the office or thru the phone is currently a bit rude and without patience, I consider that they should put trained personnel Who really want to work and know about customer service as they usually do. Overall, Santos offers quality in the services

Fantastic experience: In the beginning I was very stressed and scared about driving but decided it was time for me to get my license. My sister went to Santos and recommended it to me. I took 13 hours of lessons at Santos with no practice at home and I was able to pass my driver's test. With the help and support from Yajaira I was able to conquer this big fear of mine and pass the test.

Negative experience: No aprendí nada aquí. La gente fue extremadamente grosera y no quieren ayudar. Solo quieren tu dinero y no les importa si fallas. Tampoco responden a tus llamadas.

Negative experience: Worst driving school ever & a waste of money. I payed for behind the wheels driving and the older man who was suppose to be teaching me how to drive kept yelling at me. He kept saying “Jesus Christ” “Oh my God” and yelling at me “What are you doing?!” I’ve never been so nervous to drive before. At one point I was reversing and he did not tell me he was no longer going to give me further instructions and that he wanted me to figure it out. I ended up driving on the curb because he failed to tell me he wanted to see if I can do it on my own, in which of course he yelled at me again. I ended up crying because of how nervous I was. Very unprofessional, very rude, made me extremely nervous to drive.

Negative experience: The worst driving school. Doesn’t actually care for their students. Does not stick to their own contracts.

Negative experience: My wife was 15 minutes late to a class she paid hundreds of dollars for and they refused to let her in. She was pregnant. She tried to reason with them and they quickly became hostile and called the police. Look at the critical reviews first and ask yourself why there are so many. There are plenty of other schools

Fantastic experience: I started my driving journey with AAA driving school. I took my drivers test 3 times over the course of two years with AAA and even had to obtain a new learners permit. After failing for the third time, I decided to go to another driving school for lessons. Santo was the most affordable option and offered me great service. After one 2 hour lesson with John, I was ready to reattempt my road test. I scheduled my road test with Santo and I passed!! I highly recommend this driving school and the driving instructor John!! Eternally grateful to Santo for all their help and support!

This business has been around for many years so they are established and know the ins and outs of safe driving. I was so happy to have passed my test! Ojalá encuentre una escuela donde le den clases a ella de cortesía hacia los clientes pq le recuerdo a ella que no vamos a recibir clases a Santos driving school de gratis.

Negative experience: The lady "Jay" who works here is discussing and disrespectful, she refused to do her job and give a pregnant lady credit or schedule her class because she was a few minutes late. Then proceeded to tell the customer to "close her legs". And now "Jay" has the police harrassing the customer for no reason, either she needs to be fired or yall need to be shut down. And ya'll will be reported to the BBB if she's still employed there after today.

Negative experience: A person arrived 15 minutes late to a class that costed $150 and was harassed by office manager Jay. Very unprofessional. Not allowed to reschedule or pay fine for class and threatened to call the police when the person was non-violent and compliant. Unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Good experience and worth the money. With them I was able to pass my drivers test. Now I just have to go to the DMV.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. My driver was john. He honestly wants everyone to pass their test. He helped build my self esteem and made me believe that I can do this! Thank you so much john. I passed my test thanks to him and Whenever I drive I can hear his voice saying "RELAX" lol.. great instructor hands done!

Negative experience: Very worst service.. pls don't go for it. They will never care with your timings. For me, 10 classes I am completing in 3 months just think.. I have taken weekend service, and December I had joined . It is February mid now and I am still left with three classes. Every Sunday they say, some damage to the car, driver is at home cannot come, some festival, etc. Driver will blame the manager and manager will hardly reply your ping. So, this I found very difficult to go with.

Im verry that I went with Atlas first spend so much money and did not lernd nothing The first day I went with Santos Ray my Teacher show me everything I need to know and more I never felt so ready for my license Really is the best driving school and if Ray is available to give u the classes go for it

Negative experience: I agree with some of the other reviews... I have a friend who PAID for and passed a course... She had a fire and lost everything...including her paperwork...and the office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional... Every time she calls it's a different story... ● First, they were unable to locate her records... ● Second...they told her the records expired (which they do not!) ● Finally...they told her the records were ARCHIVED and she would have to PAY again to find them... So...three different stories...and NO RESULTS!!!!!! I guess it's about time I visit the CT DMV on Tuesday with my friend, and get some answers from the SOURCE!!!! MAYBE Santo's Driving Scool would like the DMV to investigate their business practices!!!!

Negative experience: The driving instructor himself is wonderful but the females doing the paper work are extremely rude and unprofessional. Honestly would not recommend unless you are dealing with Ray himself.

Negative experience: I made an appointment & they refused to pick me up from my neighborhood because I live on Sargeant street in Hartford & the lady who answered the phone was HORRIBLE her attitude was extremely rude & she wouldn't even let me speak she then proceeded to say they can't pick me up because the only pick up in greater Hartford area , but on their website it does NOT state that & when I asked for refund she became even more rude . . I would NOT recommend this driving school at all they are extremely rude & unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Mr. Ray is the best! Never late, always on time.Always courteous and positive attitude. Exceedingly patient with me as a not-so-good driver which made me able to pass my road test today on the first try! Give them a try. You wont be sorry, unless you go to All Star Driver instead :P
