Fantastic experience: Want to start off by saying that I was a bit skeptical of the ratings. Most schools had a 4.6 and below rating, but this one had 5 stars. So I was curious, joined and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The instructors Andy, kevin, and alan all prepared me perfectly along the way. Couldn’t have passed it the first time without them! They understand what you’re going through as you learn along the way. They don’t rush you, scream at you or get upset. Can’t believe it took me 7 weeks; I honestly thought it’d take longer. But with this school, you’ll be done in no time - maybe even 1 month! So join now and you’ll be surprised how fast you advance. Fantastic experience: I want to thank CDL of California for helping me get my cdl. when i was looking for a school i was searching for a short term, fast paced, and affordable school. CDL of California checked all my boxes and more. The instructor Andy was very very helpful he taught me a lot of what i needed to know when it came to the test. When i took my test i felt confident and prepared after only 15 days of school 3 weeks in total. I was able to pass my test first try and everything that Andy taught me in the field was exactly what i needed to know the day of the test. I will recommend this school to anyone that is looking to get in this industry. They make it fast and easy for you to get on the road.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best driving school in all of California with a Hands-On approach to learning they're driving instructors are very professional willing to work with you one-on-one until you know what you are doing you don't feel pressured at this school you can come and go as you please you could stay there all day and drive a truck in their lot to practice maneuvers they have great equipment and a nice lot to practice the owner's name is Henry he is one of the most knowledgeable truck drivers I have ever met in my life and he is always willing to give his time to help you whenever you need him to do anybody out there trying to get a CDL I would recommend this school it is the best one by far

Andy and Allen are both excellent instructors they go above & beyond to make sure you learn the right stuff from Inspections & understand the functions of parts etc.The staff was understanding with my situation traveling 2 1/2 hours just to come to this school once to twice a week it was well worth the drive. I came from California School Of Trucking and it was TERRIBLE . Andy Allan and Kevin are the guys! They work with you they really want you to pass! As long as you put in the work they will try to help you with everything! They work with you on a 1 on 1 personal level and give their time and effort to show you the way! Fantastic experience: Hello future class A drivers! This is the best school to get your license and I can vouch for that. Since the first day I set foot in this place I felt the beautiful energy and great vibes. The culture here at this school is second to none!!! Kevin, Alan, Andy, Rebecca, Genesis, and Henry are the best and they are as courteous and genuine as can be. I came from another school, and I was scared, confused, and traumatized. Right away they made me feel at home. I was given all the adequate training and the tools to be successful. I swear I owe them so much and I will never forget the experience I had here. I really struggled with getting all the maneuvers down and they always made me feel good about myself and they were extremely patient with me even when I felt that I was never going to learn. They are always coming up with new effective methods to train their students and they don't rest until you learn and trust me you will learn! On February 7, 2023, I passed my test on the first try. I knew I would pass because I was more than prepared and that is thanks to the help of Cdl of California. Fantastic experience: Today 10/03/2022 I finally got my class A license! If you’re looking to get your class and come across this review take the leap of faith and invest in yourself. In my 4 months of training, Alan, Andy, and Kevin went above and beyond to make sure I had the proper tools, mentorship, and resources to successfully pass my test. Aside from that you will get the best hands on training around with that feeling of home once you get to the yard. This school is family owned, don’t waste your time at big corporation schools that won’t give you the same treatment. Thanks Andy, Allen, and Kevin and not to leave out Rebecca and Genesis for their kind attitude, hard work, and transparency in the office you guys are very appreciated best of luck!

Fantastic experience: SO SO Recommend this school, they have a good variety of available hours to come practice. The trainers are very patient and knowledgeable. The office people are very professional and helpful. The prices are reasonable and they give you more than enough time to pay. The set up at their yard WILL prepare you for the DMV, the distances and the width of their set up is pretty much as the DMVs. They will make sure you are ready to pass your pre-trip inspection, skills and driving test before they take you to the DMV.

Fantastic experience: Kevin and Andy are talented instructors, they taught me all the knowledge needed for me to pass all tests on my first try, patient and helpful, everyone here has the same goals as you: coming in after work and days off for you to get your license, so everyone you meet here will have the same positive goals as you. The office worked with my payments, days, and DMV scheduling. I personally would recommend anyone to come here and learn at this school.

Fantastic experience: Awesome driving school. Didn’t know anything about truck driving before but got my license in about six weeks. Thanks to CDL of California. The instructors, Kevin and Andy are very frank and helpful. Good thing about them is that they offer unlimited hours which is really important to master the skills unlike other schools where they allow people only certain number of hours for practice. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Extremely good school! It is a smaller school so you will get a lot of hands on time and also unlimited number of hours as long as the sun is up. Andy and Kevin are extremely knowledgeable and patient when helping you learn a new maneuver or a new pre trip inspection section. Awesome school can not recommend this school enough, they will teach you everything you need to pass you don’t need to know practically anything just get your permit or they can help you get your permit. You are also able to go at your own pace and do not have to worry about being at the same level as everyone else, you can take your time and move up as long as you feel ready especially for the driving portion because it can be a little scary, but you learn to be pretty comfortable behind the wheel. They only use manual transmission trucks so that you will not have any restrictions on your license, you do not need to know how to drive a manual truck you will learn all the skills you need there as long as your are persistent and put in the hours you can go from knowing nothing to passing your cdl test in about 4 to 6 weeks. I can not even drive a manual car and now I'm certified to drive a manual semi truck. This place is awesome you will not regret it I promise. Thanks again to the awesome instructors Andy and Kevin who helped me through every step of the way when I doubted myself.

Fantastic experience: Ladies and Gentlemen, if you're looking to get your CDL and need training, look no further than CDL of California. Kevin and Andy are fantastic trainers! Very patient, laid back, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very uplifting, even from your fellow classmates. Everyone encourages everyone and helps each other out. Another great thing about this school is the schedule, there is no schedule. They are open morning and night and you get to come and go as you please. This was huge for me, as I still had a full time job while going through the schooling and needed a flexible school. On top of that, there isn't any pressure to hurry up and learn so they can replace you with a new student. They don't schedule you to take your test until they (and you) are confident you are ready. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to get their CDL.

If you like to be in charge of your own training, set your own schedule and paste, this school might be best for you. Before deciding on CDL of California, I went to check out a number of different schools around. They were all significantly more expensive and required me to commit to a particular schedule. At CDL of California, you come and go as you please. The truck and the instructor is always there available for you. My instructor Kevin was very knowledgeable and patient. He has a way of teaching with a very calm and professional demeanor, that resonated well with me. I highly recommend CDL of California to anyone thinking about becoming a professional truck driver.

Fantastic experience: Great school. I looked into other schools prior but this one had the best reviews and for good reason. I took my DMV test under a month of going to CDL. Henry and Allen are great instructors you learn a lot and at your own pace. Everyone gets time in the seat and you learn quickly as experienced students help other students. Overall, this should be your choice I didn't find other schools appealing and I doubt you could find a better school than this one.

Fantastic experience: The school is very much one on one with the students and instructors. It's open Monday through Saturday. You can come and go whenever you want for how ever long you want. Listen to everything the instructors tell you, get hands on practice on the truck, and you'll be ready for your test. Don't be afraid to ask every question you can think of as many times as you want until you get what you're looking for. They'll work with you for as long as it takes for you to get it right. I can't recommend this school enough.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with CDL of CALIFORNIA. Henry provides excellent, honest and professional service at an extremely affordable rate. The trainers (Allen and Mike) are patient and provide great training. This is an honest family ran business. I have also attended Dootson school of trucking when I attained my Class B license in 2012. This business is comparable to bigger schools and even exceeds their standards in many ways. The, "Infinity training" is invaluable and you can train at your own time and pace. No appointments are necessary. I would definitely recommend any potential Class A drivers to attend CDL of California. Your time and money will not be wasted.

Henry works to make sure you get plenty of time practicing at your pace. I was able to pass my class A the first try after only a couple of weeks.

Fantastic experience: This is a really good school to attend if you are looking to get your CDL's. The family that runs the school have a beautiful spirit and are patient in working with you to obtain your goal of gaining your CDL's. The cost of the school is affordable and you are able to work at your own pace. I really liked that because the time I spent at school was limited. It did take me a few weeks longer because of work but I got it done with all of my endorsements. When practicing my manuvering skills I found myself getting frustrated at times because I couldn't get the trailer to go where I wanted it to go. They never lost patience. They worked with me until I got it. It's a good feeling when you reach that milestone and I appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: Estoy muy contento, porque gracias a esta escuela logré cumplir uno de mis sueños que era poder aprender a manejar lo que es un vehículo comercial, pude hacer nuevos amigos y ahora puedo decir que si uno se lo propone lo consigue. Gracias a Henry (Instructor), que con su paciencia y conocimiento hoy pude obtener mi licencia clase "A". Fantastic experience: I got my commercial driver's license today, And I just want to take the time out to thank Henry the instructor of commercial driver license of California. I was able to get my license in about 3 weeks from start to finish. This school is the best because you can learn at your own pace if you want to spend all day there training and learning you can do so. It's all up to you Henry the instructor doesn't sell you hours like these others schools. The instructor is knowledgeable and his trucks are in good condition. Before you pay more than you have to at least give commercial driver's license of California a call. Thanks Henry.

Fantastic experience: This is the best trucking school you can come to. Henry is an awesome instructor, very patient, and knowledgeable. The best part is that there is no crazy scheduling, no appointment necessary. It all depends on your eagerness to learn and obtain the skills required to become a class A driver. I used to come in super early and would spend all day there. I got my license today, I’m glad I made the choice by coming to Commercial Drivers License of California.
