Negative experience: Place looks close. No one ever answer phones, text, emails. Driving lessons hard to book , to far apart. My son ended up turning 18 before he can finish the driving lessons and so we just went ahead and book his test at the rmv. I’m still trying to reach them to get copy of parent class for a different school and no luck. They suck.

Negative experience: I have been calling this site to the couple phone numbers provided for over 3 weeks and never got a response so left multiple voice message and none of them were responded, I also emailed them multiple times with 0 response or attention, I was hoping to get a response as I was looking for this but unfortunately the attention I so bad for new customers.

Negative experience: After my son paid this company $262, he was never contacted to do the driving nor the test. We contacted the company numerous times with no response. Finally, my son reached them and they stated he was not enrolled in the school, even though he had the payment receipt. I have emailed the school for the past two months requesting a refund, since we paid for a service that was not rendered, and no response from these people. Called the number and now it's just disconnected. The best thing people can do is stay away from people that are very shady and not suitable for business.

Negative experience: Buckle up for the ride of your life, folks, because Drivinstruct driving school is one heck of a rollercoaster – without the thrills or safety measures! We forked over our hard-earned cash in April 2023, expecting quality instruction for our son's driving journey. But what did we get? A no-show instructor, missed appointments, and a hefty $70 charge, all courtesy of Drivinstruct's incompetence. Oh, but it gets better – or should I say worse? Six months down the road, and our son's still stuck in neutral, waiting to finish his driving lessons. And don't even get me started on their so-called "customer service." They're quick to fire off excuses in review replies, but when it comes to answering texts, emails, or calls from students and parents? Crickets. It's like they're allergic to professionalism! And as if that wasn't enough, they conveniently forgot to log our son's completion info with the RMV. Save yourself the headache – steer clear of Drivinstruct.

Negative experience: I nearly got side swiped by one of the drivers of this company. She had the audacity to act hostile towards me after I honked my horn. Instructors need to take better control of the vehicle on public roadways, and the instructor I saw needs to get a better mood

Negative experience: I feel it's necessary to provide this review to save potential customers from embarrassment and disappointment. I followed my wife to her scheduled driving practice today, hoping to meet this woman whom we had called severally but hadn't responded to any calls. The office had initially scheduled her for Saturday which she went and waited 4O MINS outside (as she meets the clients at the roadside adjacent the office - which is never open). My wife stayed outside in the scorching sun. I was worried because she came back so disappointed and frustrated. So, that's I reason I went with her today and we stayed in our car together. After about 15 minutes past the scheduled time, she arrived. She didn't even apologize at all. I approached her and told her about the irresponsiveness of her office to calls. She immediately claims she's not the office and said her name was Kiki (not Kady, assuming Kady was the office manager). Although, this is unclear, as she seems to administer all the driving practices herself and know if people have been rescheduled for another time. When I brought up the issue of scheduling the driving exam with RMV as the office has promised, and that we need that schedule documented, she spoke harshly and inconsiderably that it has been scheduled. Yet, as I speak, we do not have any record or evidence of that schedule even after paying $250 a package including a driving test with the RMV. The office has poor communication. They do not let their clients aware what they are doing. Then, I asked further if we may get a refund, she responded in a discordant, jarring tone, that we call our bank and get a refund. I then responded that we would need her to initiate the refund. Then, she became so hostile, entered to her car and closed the door, brushing the door against my wife's hand; and then zoomed off, speeding away fast. I am still shocked and dumfounded at the same time at such a horrible, miserable and atrociously vicious experience from this woman (Kiki). This is so unacceptable. I won’t recommend this establishment at all. In fact, I remember that while we were there a car came in to the area where she meets with clients (she meets with clients by the roadside and take them in her car for driving). The man spoke to us about the same issue and that he had paid $900 for her daughter. They had called severally but no response. I would advise anyone who values his/her time, not ready to waste money, not ready to be treated horribly or callously, nor ready to be frustrated or depressed to NOT come to this driving school! I hope our experience would be the last for anyone. I don't have anything against the academy but I have to be honest. The lack every manner of professionalism, customer service and quality service delivery! RUN AWAY! Note, I gave them a 1 star because google requires at least a star. This is a ZERO STAR place. So upsetting and distressing experience!

Negative experience: Worst experience! Spoke with office for over an hour gathering information about school which was recommended because they support people who suffer with mental health, learning and/or physical disabilities. She presented program as in person with supports for learning differences which were more expensive than for typical learning which was BS! The morning the classes were to begin, my son received a zoom link for class to be taught. When I called, the office manager denied our conversation and would not address why the cost for disabilities were more expensive nor would she explain how they support such issues. They DO NOT have a problem getting paid by state funded agencies. Shame on you!

Negative experience: I called this company repeatedly for five days. I have sent messages and emails, without any response to those emails. I was told by the driving instructor ( KD) on Sunday 25th June to call the office on Monday 26th June and discuss my road test location and details. It’s over a month since I paid $250 plus $12 service fees all totaling $262 and enrolled in the premium road test package. Yet nothing has been done or heard regarding my application. For a company with whom I am registered, and take my lessons, I think there should be some kind of responsiveness to calls from students or clients. Right now, it seems to me that my calls are deliberately ignored and this behavior is very unethical, since I have communicated via the same line ( even when you were on the road) in the past. More so, I believe as part of professionalism, it behooves this company to intimate me with updates regarding my road test, and not me having to call countless times ( more than 40 times since Monday, 25th June 2023). I will appreciate if someone will just pick up, or respond to my messages and do the right thing. If this won’t work out, I would have to request a refund. Thank you.

Negative experience: I won’t recommend this establishment for the bad experience I had. Just because I had a bad experience doesn’t mean you will have the same experience I had. And I wish the owner would take bad reviews as a way for him to improve instead of defaming customers and exposing personal information for everyone else to see, because of the end of the day as a company you will always have satisfied and unsatisfied customers because no company is perfect. Because for my experience I have a lot to say and a lot to complain. I felt like I wasted my time and money. It made me go to a different school to be able to get my license finally. But when I tried to book another appointment since everything was payed off, I couldn’t because you or your assistant deleted my account without saying anything to me (very unprofessional). I didn’t called to complain because I was already in a different school and I was so over it already. But I wish everyone a good luck and that your experience will be better than mine.

Negative experience: Wow! reading through the reviews the way you respond to the negative reviews is insane. I think I’ll pass on sending my child here. People can review the company how they see fit but if your the owner replying back to comments you should take some customer service classes. I honestly can’t believe you would tell a client they are as dumb as they get for not passing a test.

Negative experience: I did not receive driver Ed from this company but I will say that I recently had a bad experience with one of their student drivers. They totally blew through a Stop sign in the Wegmans parking lot as I and my 5 year old grandson were attempting to cross from the store to the parking lot. Yes we had entered the crosswalk and yes there is a "real" Stop sign there. Not even a late stop (like "oops I missed it"). I advise caution if you are choosing them as a driving school as it appears they are not teaching your children properly about Stop signs and/or pedestrians in crosswalks. As a side note, they shouldn't be taking students through crowded parking lots if the instructor isn't prepared to use the brakes when the student fails to. Edit- And the ownership lies and is nasty as seen in their response to my review. Stating that my grandson is "out of control" and ran into the crosswalk in front of their car. To be clear, when we cross a street or a parking lot, he is either holding my hand or the cart. And if this person responding actually saw him "run into the crosswalk" why did they not have the driver slow down at the very least?

Fantastic experience: I have the best experience with DrivInstruct Driving Academy. They are very professional, and they truly care about their clients. I highly recommend their services.

Negative experience: The school had many issues sending in the paperwork to the RMV, and it caused my road test to be delayed multiple times, despite them saying that the paperwork was nearly finished or that it was sent.

DrivInstruct really helped call my nerves. KD is a great instructor and took her time to help me understand the rules of the road and what I’m doing right and wrong! I passed my road test on the first try. Thanks KD!

Negative experience: Very rude owner. Do not recommend this place. Go take a look at the owners responses to bad reviews and that’ll tell you all you need to know. This owner clearly cannot take criticism and is very unprofessional. Please go take your hard earned money and spend it somewhere else or just burn it. That would still be a better option than going here.

Fantastic experience: We switched from another driving school because KD was so pleasant and responsive from the first informational call. My son learned a lot from her and truly enjoyed his lessons. The business was well-organized and professional. As a parent, I liked that they didn’t just try to get the kids to pass the test like other schools who have them drive the course before the test. KD/DrivInstruct wanted them to learn to be good drivers. KD was proactive in helping schedule lessons. I recommend DrivInstruct highly!

Driving with her was always a time well spent and I feel confident in the driving skills I developed thanks to her. KD is very genuine and kind and really goes out of her way to make sure that her students are comfortable and well prepared for their road test (for example, she offered me an extra lesson). I would not have been able to pass my road rest without her help! She even reached out to me after my road test to find out how I did. Bill was also very helpful and made sure I had all the skills I needed in order to pass. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a staff who really cares about helping their students succeed!

Negative experience: We responded to an email from this company and asked to cancel a service as the email said that the service we applied and paid for was for a teenage and not an adult and that there would be a substantial increase in the cost. in addition I called and spoke to a man and asked him to cancel and was told someone would take call back. We received no response I called again and a woman answer. I explained that I wanted to cancel the service and explained why and she said she would cancel it. I mentioned that we had responded to the email and also called before and was going to do a follow-up after with a call to my credit card company. Then suddenly the woman lost it. She called me an Effing liar and told me to go Eff myself. She said she is the ONLY person who answers the phone and babbled a few more profanity's and hung up. I have no idea who she was but can tell you she was a nasty human being. I am SURE the instructors are fine and the school itself is great but they need to hire a new person to handle their phones as she is an awful face of any company. I own an insurance agency and we will never ever ever again recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the fact that I chose Drivinstruct to help me learn how to drive. KD is an amazing teacher and will ensure that you are prepared for your road test. I was able to complete the entire Adults Driver Ed program in a timely fashion, which allowed me to take my road exam and pass! KD will make sure that you go into the exam with the confidence and preparation you need to impress the examiner. Fantastic experience: KD made me feel very comfortable from the first lesson I ever took with her. I would not have been able to step a foot in the driver's seat let alone pass my road test without the help of her. She is very understanding and took time out of days she had off to make sure I was able to finish my hours. She is very caring and truly wants her students to succeed. She practices skills with you that other driving schools don't and makes sure you are completely ready before your road test. She radiates positive energy and makes sure you are comfortable the entire time. KD will motivate you, build your confidence, and ensure you become a safe driver. 100% worth every penny :)

Fantastic experience: OMG I don’t think there is any other driving school out there that is as good as this one. And Katie, she is one of the best driving Instructor to be taught by. She takes the time out to ensure that you are parking correct and know how to secure a vehicle. I have no regrets about my driving school choice and because of Drivinstruct Driving Academy I was able to obtain my driving licenses the proper way

Fantastic experience: I honestly want to say thank you to Katie the best driving instructor there is. I have learned so much from her throughout my time at DrivInstruct Academy. The process was very simple and not long because in no time at all I passed my road test and will be receiving my license very soon!!!!! Katie truly believed in me because her energy was so positive and made me feel comfortable when in the class as well as doing driving lessons. Fantastic experience: It was great a time! The instructor was firm but understanding. She was always great at explaining driving directions. The price absolutely makes sense after taking the class. I am glad that I went through this program. We did everything from parrell parking to practing going around rotaries. I definetly recommend this program.
