Negative experience: Horrible place to test all they want is your money. You get different testers every test seems like and they ding you for stuff the last instructor said you hit on. Every time I tested I left feeling more confused and frustrated. I had taken a class with testers out of Colorado who said he would pass my pre trip and didn’t understand why they had kept failing me. TEST SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Negative experience: the office lady acts so overwhelmed and very rude and mocks me at times both times I called.. think ill go elsewhere considering attitude reflects leadership

Negative experience: Terrible place it's a joke they fail you just so you have to do the test again and they get more money for the road test. I've reported them to the bmv, attorney general and the better business bureau. Terrible place I've driven semis for 15 yrs. They failed me on a new CDL pre trip. They make the rules up as they go.. don't waste your time and money.. wait till the state sends a DOT BEAR in to test and they fail him.. hopefully the state shuts em down

Fantastic experience: I drove 2 hours to test here my for 3rd time after failing at the Milan and Tri C locations. All I can say is WOW, what a different experience this was! Everyone was very friendly, from the lady on the phone to my instructor. Russ was GREAT! Very nice and down to earth. He knew I was nervous and gave me some tips and small talk to settle me down. The rental truck for class A manual was nice too, 6 speed w a 30 ft flatbed trailer. If you have had a tough experience at other testing sites I highly recommend taking the trip to Perrysburg and giving it a go here. 10 stars ✨️

Fantastic experience: I had to take my test 3 times here, had Mike the first time, he was great..I was super nervous and ran out of time..I went back as soon as I could and got Martha..she was excellent, she could tell I was nervous and told me to relax take a breath, unfortunately I still didn't pass but, on one mistake, I realized after I said it..went a 3rd time had Martha again..passed,the staff here were all great. Shout out to Martha!

Fantastic experience: Julie was very nice, answered all my questions, setup my appointment and processed my payment. Meredith was the one that tested me, when I failed the first time, gave me a great study resource and suggestions and I passed the second time around for my Class A CDL.

Fantastic experience: Martha is just an absolute Saint! I was so nervous about taking the Class B test and I failed the 1st time but she kept me encouraged and told me to come back because she could tell that I knew what I was doing. So a month later I came back and to my surprise she remembered me! She calmed me down and talked to me like a friend and not a student. I passed the entire test within an hour from when I arrived and I just want to say THANK YOU MARTHA!!!

Fantastic experience: Compared reviews here to those in Norwalk, decided this was the way to go. After completing my CDL test here, its fair to say this was a GREAT decision. Julie was awesome, and my tester, Martha, made the test super calming and smooth. Drive the extra time to go to this place, it is worth it.

I highly recommend this testing facility for anyone's cdl needs . The rental equipment is in great shape and very easy to do pretrip inspection on , the fees for rentals is fair .

Fantastic experience: This it a very nice clean and friendly place to take your test! Fist the price for truck rental and testing was one of the best I found . I took my class b test with a rented truck whitch was new clean and not beat up ! My inspector was Martha she was frickin awsome ! She explained everything making sure you understand She was super layed back ,nice and made you feel like she was totally on your side! Fantastic experience: Great experience. They will teach you exactly what you need to do to pass your CDL. You should be bored fairly early because the instructors teach the mechanics very well and offer any help requested. Just remember you have to want to pass be real!

Fantastic experience: I’m Seymour JR and this test site is five star in my opinion. They are driver friendly, & You’re not just another number at this location. Martha and Mike are both excellent instructors they will give you advice and pointers at the end of your exam that will help in where you need more practice and also the front office is awesome, Julie will guide you in the right direction from the start, she is very knowledgeable, and informative. I did their prep course in Tyler, Michigan to start me off. Third times a charm, wish me luck guys.

Fantastic experience: Martha is a good instructor. Very fair and easy to run through the test for. Very calm and that made it easy for me to not rush and miss something on the pre trip walk around. I would recommend this testing site. They want you to have knowledge about the truck and air break system and aren't out to fail you on the first try. I had to take the test twice because I failed the first time on the air break part. It was 100% my fault. That instructor gave me pointers for the retake which was awesome. The second time was a breeze.

Negative experience: I took the test two weeks in a row, two different examiners. One said I passed certain things, and the other said I failed the ones I passed the week prior. Their excuse was that “they are different examiners”. Ive talked to 3 different guys taking their test, all on their second or third time, who all said the same thing. This place is a scam, do not waste your money.

Fantastic experience: I specifically took a longer drive to this location for my CDL exam because the reviews online were so much better than other Ohio locations and it was certainly a wonderful decision!! I had Martha as my examiner and she is such a nice person, she cares about you and she makes you feel so comfortable. All my test nerves instantly went away. She talks to you like you are human and are going to make mistakes, but that it is okay. I HIGHLY recommend this location, all staff were friendly and accommodating, which made a stressful process so much easier.

Fantastic experience: It took me a couple of times to get my cdl and I was getting frustrated and then I got Maratha as an instructor and she is just the most patience and kind instructor there is. I was so nervous I could hardly sit still and her demeanor and the way she carries herself made me feel very comfortable and calm and I was able to pass with no problems. Some people aren’t meant to be instructors and some people are and she is one of them that is! If you take you test here and get her you are in great hands! She is a one of kind instructor and is rare to see anymore! I am almost gonna miss driving up there and seeing her.

Fantastic experience: Long story short. I went with a brand new tractor and trailer and they failed the tractor because of not having a GVWR so I couldn’t test. Waited a year after renewing my permit once and scheduled back in. Take a different tractor and trailer and the trailer didn’t have a GVWR sticker on it so no test. Now my permit expires in 2 days at this point and Martha (part time employee) took time out of her normal work day on her lunch (also to note it’s a week before Christmas) to come in and let me test so my license didn’t expire meaning I would have to wait 2 years to be able to obtain a permit again. I rented their trailer this time after not being able to get my own. Martha worked with me and was an excellent instructor. Thanks to her I now have my CDL! Make sure your tractor and trailer is up to par before taking it to test! Ended up paying 3 times! My fault though.

Fantastic experience: I had to drive 2.5 hours to get here to test. I failed twice in a row because I didn't know what I needed to know. Each time the examiner told me what to study. Yesterday I passed. You've gotta know what you're doing because they are strictly by the book. I'd definitely recommend them to someone else.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my Class A Cdl Test at this testing center. They got GREAT TESTING TRUCK, the testing pad was clean and visual and EXAMINER Shawn was great. Very patient and professional. When I took my test my anxiety had got the best of me. I DID NOT PASS. But dont worry at the end of my test I asked questions to see what I did wrong. He told me every thing that I did good,wrong, and what I should practice on. I left with a positive attitude, practice on certain areas came back for round two on my test and PASSED, with flying colors. It was a great K.O. . I can give a thumbs up to this testing center they are pretty awesome.

Fantastic experience: If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!! I didn't pass my test the first time and was of course, discouraged. Shawn, my examiner, was extremely encouraging and helped me build my confidence for next time. Needless to say, I nailed it the second time! He's AWESOME!! Fantastic experience: I just took my test today and I had examiner Shawn. He was very pleasant to work with and awsome. Negative experience: had dave as an instructor. should not be an instructor. probably needs a hearing check before he tests someone else. you can tell hes never held an actual trucking job and only knows the testing side. I do not recommend this place and will never return. TERRIBLE INSTRUCTOR!!!

Tip: ask questions before the test starts. It really helps to have clarification beforehand. They’re top notch people. I failed the first time and didn’t hesitate to come back the next week. Fantastic experience: Sean the tester was awesome he made sure to make us feel welcome and made sure that I didn't have any reason to be nervous all anxiety leading up to the test lifted and made testing seem like it was something I had been doing for years. When I returned I was greeted by Julie who is just as friendly and she shared in my excitement. I would suggest if anyone is thinking about testing just do it with these guys you wont be sorry.

Negative experience: I checked and called out items by the book after studying and practicing for months and even followed the way they show to do it in videos. I drove trucks for years in the military and for companies. The instructor said I failed to check multiple things even though I did check them. Instructor didn't keep track of what I was checking on the sheet until after the inspection. Contradicted what he stated was acceptable and what wasn't by his terms. Saying to call out at least 3 or 4 discrepancies for what you are checking, then after the inspection said he expected 5. Instructor expressed lack in knowledge of the vehicle itself after test, stating that the water pump was the A/C compressor. I do technical work on vehicles as a side job, I was appalled... Try everywhere else that you can before going here. I have many friends that have told me after my test that this company is known for expressing favoritism in its test takers and scamming people to get them to keep coming back to pay for more test. If you do take a test here, make sure you have a licensed CDL driver to back your word up and record the process.
