The instructors were really helpful and were really good at explaining every detail about driving on the roads and highways, the staff is very nice and helpful. Fantastic experience: Best CDL school in VA, the owner and the instructors are very helpful. Their trucks and facility are exellent.

Negative experience: This school is a scam, especially if you're trying to learn manual. If you make a mistake on the first day, they will tell you to go to automatic. They do not have patience to teach you manual. Not to mention, you do not practice driving with a trailer. I literally had to beg, 2 days prior of testing. They look out for their family and friends ONLY! God forbids if you fail a test, they will over charge for a retake. I've seen it happen plenty of times with others. I was personally charged $1,500 to retake my road test after I failed the first time. Again, just the road test! I PASSED PRETRIP AND BACKING! He charges $200 if you fail pretrip and backing to everyone else. Don't bother to waste your money, just go to AAA CDL school. I was able to pass after 2 days of driving and they charged me a lot less to retake the road test.

Fantastic experience: Fabiano is my husband's name but I wanted to share my experience as a woman with 7CDL. My name is Jennifer and I wanted to get my passenger CDL to drive a bus for field trips and sporting events at my kids school. The whole process took about 5 weeks. One week to pass my tests at DMV to get my learners permit. One week to get my medical examination (at Patient First, $119). I then was able to sign up at 7CDL. I met Cameron in the office in Manassas and signed some papers and paid and started the following Monday. The yard is off of Balls Ford Rd. and opens at 9am but I got there about 8:30 to study the manual Cameron gave me. I was the only woman in the yard most of the time. There were probably 30 other guys but I never felt in danger ever. Shau the yard manager is such a gentle giant. He kept everyone in place and managed the trucks and bus extremely well. One of the other instructors Abdul was very patient and helpful as well teaching me everything I needed to know. There was a couple of snowy days but I was there usually everyday fro 8:30-11:30. After 3 weeks I sat for the DMV test. It took about 90 minutes and the tester was so friendly and had a great laugh. T.J. made me feel very at easy and I passed with flying colors thanks to the amazing guys at 7CDL. If you are a woman I 100% endorse 7CDL to get you where you need to go.

Negative experience: Kamran the owner of this 7 CDL is one of the most disrespectful person who doesn’t care about others time. He never kept his promises. He is the real shame to the professionalism who loves to waste others valuable time. I have never seen any disrespectful egocentric person like him. He gave us an appointment and didn’t show up for one and half hour. We were waiting in his office and he came and didn’t say even hello, hi, and refuse to say sorry for getting late and waste our time. I strongly recommend don’t go this nasty Kamran’s 7CDL it’s a wastage of your time and money.

Fantastic experience: Hello Readers! I'm here to give my genuine review about 7 CDL Truck Drivers School, Manassas, VA, where I got my training. After I heard about the good money truck drivers make and the availability of multiple jobs in the trucking industry, I became very much interested in getting my CDL. Then I began to search for the best truck drivers schools in the DMV area. I googled, gathered information from people, and also drove to the schools myself to see what I heard and read were true. Since my intention isn't to promote, advertise, or degrade any of the schools, I'm not going to mention the names of the schools I didn't like. The first school I went to is located somewhere in Alexandria, VA. The training field was too small and dusty, the trucks were very old (junk trucks) and the office people I spoke to were disrespectful, and on top of these, to my surprise, the tuition fee was very expensive. And the paradox was that I saw a lot of students there, mostly Ethiopians and Eritreans. I want to take this opportunity to give my advice to my fellow people and of course to everyone that .... the criteria to choose your truck driver school should not be the race of the trainers!!! Absolutely not!!! You know what I mean. Most of the trainers in this school are Ethiopians and Eritreans. This is the marketing strategy that the school applied to get students. Don't be fooled by this. Coming back to my point, I made the biggest mistake and joined this school simply by listening to what most people say. Then guess what, I had to wait standing for about an hour and then practice just for ten minutes. To make things worse, they would make me practice on stick shift truck when I was learning how to drive automatic. When I complained, they usually say we just have one automatic truck and it's not here right now. To cut it short, I fought with them to get my money refunded and then I run out of this awful school. Readers, never go with the flow. Don't do anything just because others do it. Try to prove it yourself. Listen to me, one of the most important things in the training is straight backup. There's a very simple technique to do it. However, the technique works only on trucks that have their steering system and wheel alignments in a very good condition. You don't need to make big turns. However most schools that have trucks with bad steering system and poor alignment wouldn't tell you that. They rather blame you for not following what they instructed you to do. They would teach you in a very complicated way. I remember how I troubled at my first school. Ohhh I wasted my time and energy. Finally, the day came on which I drove to Manassas. I stopped at 7 CDL Truck Drivers School. All the trucks were in a very good condition. The training field was properly marked. I spoke to them. They were very respectful. The tuition fee was fairly affordable. And above all, my sixth sense told me that 7 CDL is the right place. Then I began the training. They gave me enough time to practice on both the skill parts and on the roads. I had a lot of fun there. I feel like God compensated me. The way they train you is pretty much enjoyable. I had a nick name they gave me, Michael Jackson I think it was because of the kind of sunglasses I wear. The minute you entered into the training field, you will feel relaxed. Sha will make you laugh. I remember one of the funny questions I was asked during my road practice, Sha (Big Man) asked me "what would you do if you see a beautiful Ethiopian girl crossing your road while you were driving 65 on a 40?" "well I wouldn't drive above the speed limit in the first place" I replied. Friends, stress and training don't go together. I already missed the way I got my training. I had a lot of fun. And I caught up everything quickly and got my CDL in just three weeks. So I would like to thank my trainers in public ..... Thank you Mr. Kamran! Fantastic experience: I cannot express enough how great of instructors they are! I was able to obtain my CDL within 19 days of class. They are very calm and teach you everything you need to know on the road and to pass your test at the DMV. Many schools teach you in classroom sessions and waste your time, but from day one they put you behind the wheel to drive. We do not need to learn in books, we need to learn on the road! I’ve seen 4 other students come from other schools and one even was there for close to a year and within a week he passed the DMV exam! You will not be disappointed by trusting these guys. Just be ready to listen, understand, and apply what they teach you!
