Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Bill. He is an excellent driving teacher. I've been learning and practicing with him for two road lessons. He taught so many driving skills. And I passed my road test.

Negative experience: the dmv test driver i had was the most racist person i have ever met yelling at me the entire time making it the most difficult environment to test in this man rushed me ever sense i sat down which is crazy when im paying $190 to take a damn test & soon after the test ended the hostess for the next street sent out the next student to test but the dmv tester stopped him yelling that he was going on lunch which why I assume that was one of the reasons he was rushing me for & let’s just say he wasn’t rude & racist he 100% rushed me because my test was scheduled for 12:00 i showed up early at 11:20 and ended up taking the test at 11:40 which is fine we both get in and out early the test ended very shortly before 12:00 when he took his lunch which is when my normal scheduled test was for when I brought it up to the next street they took zero accountability and zero initiative to help me or reimburse me for my complications due to their unprofessional services it has been almost 2 weeeks of trying to get in contact with a higher up person to help solve the situation and still nothing i will be calling monday hoping for a better outcome your much better going directly to the dmv & paying $40 rather than coming to the next street paying an extra $150 for disrespect lmfao!! it’s not a shocker that the people who want to keep their jobs aren’t admitting to treating their guests extremely unprofessionally not one person who experienced what i did would have been level headed everything i did was nothing short but expressing my frustration after the way i was treated & although you say the DMV test driver is not directly employed by you he still works through you, which makes you the next street responsible for his actions as i was making sure my mirrors are in the right line of sight like the hostess taught me and being rushed to do so during the test is beyond me $190 in todays economy is a lot of money & i demand to speak to a higher up as ive been requesting to for over two business weeks now and you avoiding to even speak to me directly shows your level of professionalism when a customer who paid their hard earned money at your establishment is not taken seriously!!

Only the first class and already loving Bill, he brings really good energy to the class and makes it less stressful overall.

Fantastic experience: Just had my 3rd daughter complete her road test with The Next Street and have nothing but amazing experiences with all three of them. Bill is an amazing instructor and I hope that the company values what he brings to the kids. My daughter was extremely nervous and he was able to make her comfortable and confident of her abilities that made all of the difference. We really appreciate his help and could not say enough positive things about him and The Next Street! Highly recommmend!

Fantastic experience: Next street is a driving school. But right beside next street we have our church building by the name or the The River Church of God. The place is a center it is a very beautiful place, parking lot nice view. I really enjoyed it there. The church is very nice, the driving school always very busy training students. Nice place.

Fantastic experience: So I finally decided it was time to get my license, even though I already knew how to drive I still needed at least 5 hours of lessons so I decided to go with "The Next Street" I had the pleasure of meeting Corey DeVellis (Instructor), he is a well spoken person and a great teacher, definently taught me a lot, more than I thought I already knew.

Fantastic experience: Awesome driving school in the Danbury area! My instructor (Corey) was great at teaching us all things we needed to learn. He strives for us to be the best drivers on the road. He makes the class a lot less boring than you would think drivers ed is, he will share some funny, interesting, real life stories that'll give you a life lesson in driving. Overall 100% recommend to any new driver! Although maybe an air freshener or plug in would be nice as it did kind of have a "bathroom" smell in the classroom.

Negative experience: I went to this office to try and get some information about the safety driving course and I was met by a i believe was a driving instructor who was about to give a lesson, while there was nobody in the class room I kindly asked him a question about the program. Well he was rude as they come he was sitting in the car wouldn’t even rolled down the window to talk to me and when he finally did rolled down the window he was the most unprofessional person I have ever spoke with told me this “ this is a class room if you want information just get one of those business cards and call the number” I feel he is a racist didn’t want to help me at all. By all this I encourage people that have tattoos and are Spanish to stay away from this place because you will be treated like garbage or far worse.

Fantastic experience: Corey DeVellis is THE best teacher out there! He can make any scenario a fun.game and he keeps me from even thinking about my phone! He is truly the coolest teacher I will ever have.

Fantastic experience: I took the 30 hour course at The Next Street. Our instructor, Corey was extremely professional, made the classroom environment fun, he also strived to bring out the best of his students. I highly recommend this driving school.

Positive experience: I love the fact that michael was so friendly...my daughter was very comfortable in the car with him last week Wednesday. Rose was also very helpful and pleasant. However Audrey who was the rep on the phone failed to tell us that we needed to have a glasses if permit reads glasses. No if..s ands or buts. We showed up with a note for the road test and it was not acceptable. We drove to Danbury from North Haven one full hour and a day off drom work and was told we could not test. Also the lady host Fulicity? talked too much negative as the new drivers waited to be tested. I ask my daughter "if she wanted to wait outside because the information she was sharing was making my daughter nurvious. She had already shaken some of the nerves in our hour drive to danbury.....then we sat and waited an hour for the agent....then 2 MORE hours at the DMV to try to do an eye test.....it made my daughter so tense....she failed the test. I'm sad!

Fantastic experience: My expreience at the next street was commendable. There was an abundance of kinetic, hands-on learning. For example, one lesson that i found particularly enlightening was when we tried on the drunk goggles. It made the class feel more real life, as opposed to just a classroom. I already feel more prepared to become a more responsible and safer driver. My instructor, Sarah was very helpful in making me understand all aspects of driving. I appreciated how i was able to choose a convienient time and place for my class and road lessons. I also appreciated how the book was availible for purchase. Overall, my experience was wonderful.

Fantastic experience: My teacher, Mr. John Leslie, was awesome! I took the 30 hours summer course that was 4 hours a day Monday-Thursday for two weeks. I think that 4 hours a day sitting in a classroom was a little long so I wish that it was extended to Friday and the hours were more split up between the days. Overall I had a great experience. Mr. Leslie is an awesome teacher (and has a cool mustache), I learned a lot, and had a lot of fun! :)

Negative experience: The instructor (Lisa Gilmore) was great, she's funny and actually teaches a lot about driving.... The material is a bit dry and self explanatory, but that is to be expected with this sort of thing... The reason I rated 1 stars instead of 5 (which is what the teaching aspect deserved) is because of how non-acomidatory The Next Street is, we payed almost $700 dollars so I could get my license by early September, but no driving lessons are available until late October, something which was not advertised by the next street and not made clear to us until they had already taken our money... Overall terrible experience with them, good experience with the teacher, I recommend just doing the eight hour class and saving yourself one hell of a headache Best of luck!!

What I learned in the class wasn't just a repeat of what I could read online either-- she gives us little tidbits and anecdotes to help us keep the point in mind. Very kind. It's just the classroom is kind of bland.

She gave me helpful, yet simple tips on how to successfully complete tasks such as parallel parking, k-turns, and also introduced me to highest driving which I was initially nervous about. Negative experience: 1 star is way too many for this terribly staffed company. The communication between the offices and headquarters is absolutely terrible. I had to schedule an appointment to make up the 3rd session that I missed, and the person I was speaking to that was from the headquarters did not bother to tell me that this session would be in spanish because once I got there, I was in a class with a bunch of 40 year old immigrants. Thats the least thats wrong with this company. My driving test is tomorrow, and they never send in my certification in completing the course, no big deal right? They make my drive to their office and pick up my certification in an envelope, and when I go into get it, the person teaching the classs, Corey is his name to be exact, hands me the envelope without saying a word or looking at me. Not even an apology. This annoyed me but whatever, I thought I would never have to deal with this again. i never bothered to look inside of the sealed envelope, considering someone obviously should have put my certification in it, but nope. I unseal to only see a flyer that claims the certificate should be enclosed. SHOULD BE. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS DRIVING SCHOOL. IT WILL BE THE WORST EXPERIENCE YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE.
