Fantastic experience: My daughter just passed her driving test (on the first try)! Ron's Driving School was very instrumental in making that happen. Her last two hour session was with Joe. He took her through the potential route that the DMV takes for the driving test. He gave her so many helpful pointers. He boosted her confidence. Our experience with Ron's Driving School has been very positive.

Fantastic experience: Joe is the best instructor you can have!!! He helps you so much I got my license with two errors on the test and he took me on the exact route they took me on. He is super sweet and never gets mad and makes you feel safe and comfortable! I recommend 100%

Positive experience: The first lesson my teen had was with Ron. She learned alot and had a great experience. Today the female instructor that showed up was rude and even had an attitude with me. I stated that the appointment I thought was 1/2 hour later. She snapped no its at 4:30, I quickly shut the door and went to get my child as to not make her wait. She left my front porch saying "whatever" very loudly on the way back to the training vehicle. My teen came home in tears. This is not the service we have previously had with Ron's Driving School. I hope there is some effort made to right this wrong.

Fantastic experience: Ron’s driving school is very helpful for when you’ve just started to drive all the way to right before your driving test. The instructor i would recommend would be Joe as he is very helpful and explains things clearly and throughly.

Negative experience: Horrible service, the instructor was on the phone for a long time, She was rude and didn't seem to have any experience training teenagers. I would demand a refund, but honestly, the bad review is better for others to keep in mind before calling them to train their young drivers

Fantastic experience: Joe is a very friendly, funny instructor. Had different driving teachers and by far the most enjoyable, the 2 hours is supposed to be boring but joe makes it very enjoyable, his teaching is very affective and ended up getting 0 errors on my driving test

My daughter's instructor was Joe and she (we) really liked him. She liked him so much she requested him for each of her lessons. He made her feel comfortable and he gave her wonderful instruction. Fantastic experience: I just passed my test thanks to Ron's Driving School! I did two of the Adult Driver Training sessions as well as using their lovely new car for the Driving Test Assistance lesson. My instructor was Joe who was very friendly and patient teacher who helped calm my driving nerves. Ron himself is also very friendly as is the lady on reception who was very accommodating and helpful when I called. They really care about their student's success and safety. I recommend this company to any new drivers or someone such as myself who is coming from a different country or state and wants to earn a California driving license.

Fantastic experience: i had 3 instuctors. ashley, lindsey, and ron. Ashley and ron were amazing instructors, and very clear. Im going to be honest, i didnt like lindsey. I felt as if she was slamming my breaks for almost no reason and it was on my third lesson making me feel nervous. But then again i really liked ron and ashley and they improved my driving a lot. I also passed my drivers test first try. Would definetly reccomend

He was clear with her and communication was good. He was encouraging to her and that made her more confident in her driving abilities (which helped with the test) He prepared her well for the test and she passed the first try !!

Fantastic experience: I got the chance to meet three instructors. Lindsey, Joe, and Ashley were all very nice people who helped me pass my behind the wheel the first time. Joe in particular was very funny, my lesson with him felt much shorter than two hours.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Ron and I just passed my driving exam today! I had 4 lessons and dmv assistance, all of of which had me very prepared for the test. As a student driver, I had many questions during my lessons and Ron was always ready to answer them. He provided great tips and instructions, even for topics that aren’t covered on the Tracy Driver’s Exam such as using the freeway, parallel parking, and three point turns. We also went over the various test routes and what to do in different scenarios that could happen on specific streets. Today, my examiner took me on one of the test routes we practiced, and because of all the prep I had, she said “I was very comfortable with your driving.” I chose Ron’s Driving School because my uncle had Ron as his instructor nearly a decade ago, but anyone looking at these reviews should too. It’s clear that he has a lot of experience teaching and provides his students with the necessary skills and more

Fantastic experience: I just took my drive test this past Monday, and I had Joe Huntoon from Ron’s as my instructor for my lessons beforehand. He was really great, good with tips and instructions and really genuine. Couldn't have passed without him.

Fantastic experience: Ask for Mr. Joe Huntoon he was an excellent driver instructor. He is very calm and patient no matter the student's driving skills. You learn everything from parking, how to cross intersections, and even how to drive on the freeway the lesson also includes written diagrams at the end. I promise your time will be used efficiently and you learn lots of new tips and tricks to make you a safe driver. Lastly if Mr. Joe is not available ask for Lindsey Gordon I also had a great experience with her as well.

Fantastic experience: Ron’s driving school helped me become better on the road by knowing what will be on the upcoming drivers test and showing me what to do while driving on the road with safety precautions. He was very nice and had good communication through the driving courses. He made sure even before the test that I knew everything he showed me and made sure I will do good. Fantastic experience: My driving instructor, Jason Huntoon, was cool to talk to and really helpful when teaching me to drive with a lot of good tips . Within 2 lessons I was ready to take my test and it was nice being able to use the car I practiced in on my driving test.

Fantastic experience: Experience was great from the beginning- they always returned calls. There were no surprises. They explained the process well and everything went according to plan. Even with covid- they made sure my daughter was safe in the car and always masked. Daughter passed her license with only 2 errors and they were super minor (seasoned drivers do these things on the regular!). Just wanted to say thank you!

Fantastic experience: I am a new driver. I had a lot of anxiety going behind the wheel and even thinking of driving before I took Ron’s Driving School. Ron was very professional and overall a great teacher. He pointed out each one of my mistakes, and we fixed them on the spot. Fantastic experience: I had Ron as my instructor and he helped me learn driving in less than a week (in three lessons). He is a very patient and informative instructor who pointed out all the mistakes in my driving which then, helped me learn from them. This driving school was also very flexible with their appointments which made me able to take my drivers test before my permit expired. Ron was also very helpful on the day of my test (like two hours before the test) which made me feel less nervous and more confident to take the test. We even drove around the area of the dmv so I could get used to the streets. I passed on my first try with 0 errors. If you're undecided on which driving school you want to go to, I'll highly recommend Rons Driving School and the lead instructor, Ron.

Negative experience: The receptionist was belittling, and lacked professionalism. She kept talking over me and saying that "I didn't understand," without taking into account my concerns as a customer. I called the establishment one day before my appointment to confirm whether, or not I was able to use the driving instructor's car on the day of my test, otherwise I wouldn't need the driving lessons. Unfortunately, they weren't in on the Friday after Thanksgiving and didn't have anything on their website to explain that. The receptionist kept talking over me while I tried to explain my standpoint and concerns. I wasn't told who my driving instructor was throughout this entire experience, or their policy that I NEEDED the driving lessons in order for the driving instructor to allow me to use their car for the DMV test. Which I believe should be plainly stated on their website. In the end, I canceled my appointment and she hung up the phone on me. I can't comment on the instructors themselves, however the communication within the company is confusing and lacks clarity.

Fantastic experience: Great service and all around learning curve. Scheduling was flexible and were even willing to pick me up at a different location for one of the lessons due to inconvenience. Passed the dmv test on the first attempt.

Negative experience: Called during working hours on July 23, 2018. No answer, left message. As of July 25th no call back.

Negative experience: Ron was terribly irritating me as he kept his hands on the wheel every second and gave me no room to try and drive myself, I drove for one hour instead of the two I paid for, he would not stop telling me when I made the same mistake as before, and he took it as a joke when I said I was frustrated, So I wasted $100 because Ron refused to let me try to drive by myself, waste of money, I'll be driving elsewhere.

Negative experience: didn't have a need for their service. BUT a car with this business advertisement clearly posted on it was seriously driving a speeds well over the posted limit... I5 is posted 70 and in some spots 65 so going 78+ and changing lanes erratically is NOT a company I would use

Negative experience: never showed up to my session good thing i didnt pay yet... when i wanted to cancel the session the office was closed, how are you going to have your office closed when you do the driving behind the wheel on weekends... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
