Fantastic experience: Cannot say enough good things about this school. I was always terrified of driving but from my first lesson the instructor made me feel comfortable and confident. Was able to pass my driving exam in just 5 lessons! Highly recommend to anyone, this place is awesome!

Fantastic experience: I’ll recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn driving and get a driver’s license as quick as possible. I had zero driving experience and was a bit nervous. Then I took 5 lessons here and passed the road test on my first try, ending up getting my license in two weeks! Much faster than I anticipated. The instructor was knowledgeable and taught me in a structured way, which is exactly what I was looking for. They also have their own testing site in northeast Philly so you don’t have to wait to take a test at DMV. My last lesson was at their testing site and I could get familiar with the actual environment beforehand to relax during the test.

Fantastic experience: Mixed experience at Success Driving School. I started in February. My first instructor was impatient, a bit condescending, and wouldn't listen to me. It was awful. We couldn't nail the left/right turn. After 2 lessons, I requested a change of instructor. Gordon was a complete 180. Easy-going, skillful at teaching, and understanding. I had 5 more lessons and passed my road test on the first try this month. I highly recommend Gordon, 10/10!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend to anyone who want to learn driving and prepare for the test to take at least one course from this place. This is really amazing learning site! And they are not expensive. They told me how many lessons I need to accomplish. And I told them, I want to make it quick to save money. And the instructor (Gordon, he is the best!) tried to teach me in only 3 lessons. He is also patient and very detail. And you will get a lot of tricks to navigate the US street. From not knowing anything about US driving situation and never get any license before, I was glad that Gordon helped me until I got a great comment from the examiner: "You are the best of today, Man!"

Negative experience: All in all a very bad experience here. I got 6 lessons and failed three tests here. The instructor was nice but I just cannot accept that I failed the test for two times just because I cannot meet the tester’s expectation of turn whenever he think is the time and when I tried to explain to him the last time, he just said: “turn to another test place if you think not fair” and not listen to me at all. I will advise my friends not to take lessons here!

Negative experience: Please people don't buy your money order here..They charged me $3 for a money order amount was $38.50 Nowhere will changed $3 dollar per money order..Rite Aid western union authorized dealer they only charge your $1.19 per money order..Go other place if you can don't buy from here... Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience taking lessons and my road test with Success! I had Gordan for about five lessons and he was great all around. I felt very comfortable and was able to finally build a level of confidence about driving. This place came at the recommendation of a family friend that took lessons and their test here (all tests are at the Northeast location fyi). Would definitely recommend to anyone but especially new drivers with a bit of anxiety since I felt everyone was very patient with me.

Fantastic experience: 5/5 would recommend! Recently moved and had to transfer out-of-state registration. Employees were polite, helpful, and efficient. They verified all information with me prior to submitting anything. They also worked with me to get my title faster than other businesses have in the past. They go out of their way to call you if any issues come up along the way. Also, no long lines!

Negative experience: It is truly remarkable how this place can be worse than any DMV I have ever been. OH MY GOD! Zero direction zero clarity on anything I need. I even had to reach out to my bank to get my own title to be sent because they couldn’t manage to do it. Waste of time and energy at EVERY LEVEL! Worst titling and registration process in my life!

I barely had any kind of experience driving, but my instructor was AMAZING and helped me feel so confident that in a matter of four lessons I already felt ready for the road test. And I passed! Fantastic experience: I really can't say enough good things about my experience with Success Driving School. For some context, I am older than the average new driver and was definitely nervous about the process. My instructor Gordon was excellent. While I had some previous experience driving, Gordon was able to help me become more comfortable and confidant as well as most importantly teach me a system for perfect parallel parking. I took 3 driving lessons and my exam all in the matter of 2.5 weeks and am thrilled to have passed on the first go. I would highly recommend Success to anyone interested in obtaining their driver's license.

Fantastic experience: One of the best driving schools ever! I passed my test the very first time. The instructor is patient and teaches you eveything you may need to know to drive safely. He taught me right and left turns, breaking at a stop sign and breaking while on a hill. I also taught how to drive on the street and merging into traffic on a highway, how to use the car signals, how to use mirrors and looking in blind spots, I was also taught how to do a three point turn and how to park. I left here feeling confident and came back to take my test and did great.

Fantastic experience: I finally passed my road test thanks to these guys! Every one in their office is friendly, professional and accommodating. My instructor was so patient and informative. He helped me to build my confidence as a driver after DECADES of lessons, and failed road tests at other places. No more nervousness or anxiety, just great techniques taught by an amazing teacher and one VERY satisfied newly licensed driver!

Fantastic experience: I have got my driver license through success driving school. Gordon is my instructor and he was awesome. I took seven lessons with him, he explain me well and give me all the feed back whenever at the end of the lesson. Especially he corrected me immediately then explain me for what I have make mistake during the lesson. He is really nice, friendly and had a good communication skill. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Success. As an middle-aged adult who is new to the United States and coming with many years of right-hand side driving experience, I was not the easiest of students. Success offered very competitive rates and the 90 minute session duration was just right. My instructor Gordon was excellent. He has great communication skills, understands the needs of client quickly and adjusts his instructions accordingly. He helped me to unlearn my past driving memories and quickly learn the U.S. driving rules and practices. Under his guidance, I felt ready to take the driving test after just two lessons. On the day of the test I took a practice session with him which helped me significantly. I passed the test in first attempt. From first lesson on Monday to driving test on Saturday, it was all done in one week! Thank you Gordon, thank you Success.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had my DL before in Nj but because of complications I had to take tests all over again at 37 I booked a Saturday appointment for a warm up and driving test, the younger guy who did the warm up was very helpful, and the examiner was awesome he has a way of helping you not feel nervous which helped a lot I hate parallel parking. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you

Negative experience: The company has poor customer services. The behavior of a lady aged 30-35 years was so awkward towards other nationalities, which was a clear sign of racisms. They didn’t provide us feedback in a warm up session, while charged us 50$. The behavior of instructor was pretty good. The lower rating is because of their racist behavior and poor customer services.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience learning to drive here. As an adult learner who had no prior driving experience at all, I was able to get my driving license in about 4 weeks. The instructors (especially Mr. Tang) are very helpful and experienced with teaching adult learners. They pinpointed the areas that I need to improve and provided constructive feedback during my practice. I took 8 lessons in total and I think they are very comprehensive in terms of covering all the driving/parking strategies and safety rules. The school also helps you register for road test (there is a warmup option too!) and the vehicle is provided. I highly recommend this school if you are a adult learner and wish to get your PA driving license quickly.

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test at success driving school - I am an experienced driver with an international license from another country, and I went to success after failing twice at a different school due to reasons that didn’t reflect my skills. The prices were lower than the other school, and the staff was polite and respectful. I recommend taking the test + warmup package. Totally worth it!

Fantastic experience: I was turned on too success driving simply because of the reviews! I am 30 years old and have been driving for the longest, and not too mention I suffer from anxiety!!! I decided to get my license for the first and last time.. success was the perfect place, I recommend you do a warm up before the test it’s worth the money since all cars are different you don’t want to fail for not knowing where controls are.. Yong was my instructor and she was was amazing.. my anxiety went away almost I’m sad because of how comfortable she made me feel!!! Negative experience: Haunting experience: 1. The trainer and the examiner are operating on different standards. Trainer said drive on lower 20 to be safe, whereas examiner failed me for driving too slow. (I was on lower 20, as instructed) 2. Avoid examiner Jian Su. He would ask newbies to drive at 30 from the start, waiting for them to overspeed or make any error. Then he will fail you. 3. I have friends asked by examiner for bribery. There are plenty other driving schools. Don't waisted your money and time here if you can. And Chinese speakers - same thing. It might be easier if you just try it elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My husband was a 39 year old very nervous new driver and Ray put him at ease. He thought he would never get his license yet passed after 3 sessions. The sessions are 90 minutes and definitely worth the price.

Negative experience: I have never felt so disrespected and disappointed in my life for an ignorant, impatient and unprofessional instructor Ray. Be aware of this ratings are all fake. I am very patient when it comes to understanding, learning from him because of his limited English. Due to that, I purposeful tried learning with him 5 times and I keep learning because I was being understanding because of his ethnicity. My experience learning from here was the worst, waste of my money. I will give him credit for the first 3 classes I learned from him being my first time ever to be on a wheel literally because I have anxiety driving. I saw the signs and ignored them and then Ray started blaming me, yelling at me, and this puts a lot of pressure on me. I tried to give him feedback that I don’t learn with pressure instead I make mistakes this man was such an denial that he blames this all on me for his poor instructions skills. When he gave me back his response, he doesn’t know how to speak right and respectful-like. People is like speaking to a kid with no respect instead of an apology when he literally yelled at me. I told him the third day I don’t work well when people put pressure on me. Audacity to open his dirty mouth to someone who paid 5 classes and still took him. He blames people for his actions and don’t take accountability for his actions. This man literally scratched my hand and never apologize. literally scratch my hand and has the audacity to blame me for his lack of explanation and not recognizing his audience to adapt a different teaching style. The Worst literally the worst experience ever!!!! Be aware YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving exam and it’s all thanks to Success driving school. I absolutely loved this driving school, it is a bit in the expensive side but WELL WORTH THE MONEY. My instructor was Ray, he was the ABSOLUTE BEST instructor ever. He talked me through everything, he was happier than me when I passed my test. They are very professional but also it felt like I was driving with my uncle, not a stranger. I loved that feeling and I would recommend 100 times over. Look no further!

Fantastic experience: From the start Success Driving School was on point with their communication. They sent text reminders and were accommodating when I had to change some of my lessons around. I requested Ray to be my instructor because my bestie swore by him. I am so glad I got him for all my lessons. Ray, was the calm to my storm/anxiety about driving. He made me feel so confident. In the past I went to two other driving schools (Philly Professional Driving School and Safe Driving). I had countless lessons with both without much success. I failed my driving exam three times before I came to Success Driving School. After my first lesson with Ray I knew I was finally going to earn my license. I scheduled and paid for 3 lessons and a driving exam ($90) on my first call. Although this is more expensive than my previous driving affiliates it was so worth it. I think everyone should work with a third party driving school (lessons & exam). It makes you feel more comfortable, you don't have to stalk the dmv scheduling site to arrange a test & you don't have to pay extra to use your instructor car for your test. Success Driving School did it all. I've read some mean reviews about the instructors not being able to speak English well. I am hear to tell you that isn't true. Ray had a very slight accent but I understood him perfectly. He had a calm voice and always reassured me. He also gave me sayings and examples that will stay with me forever. I am officially a licensed driver and I owe it all to Success Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I was hesitant to choose this school because of the low star ratings but I did so because it was in the city and convenient to get there. I'm so glad I did too. I had a 5 star experience. The staff are very friendly, excellent in English. Once you get your learners permit (knowledge test) come here and schedule a lesson ASAP. Once you know you're good enough you can easily schedule the road test in less than 2 weeks time, no need to wait months, refreshing a webpage at 5am to schedule it in the normal way. My driving instructor Ray was very friendly and good at teaching you everything you need to know. He's patient and experienced in instructing students with driving anxiety. I cannot recommend this school enough. International students, do not think about the cost like I did when I first came to Philly, get your license ASAP, it'll help you keep insurance costs down in the long run. The only downside I can recall is that they charge 3% extra for credit cards and 1% for debit cards. If you have Venmo then no extra costs and always they accept cash.

Took the road right after my lessons and the whole process took less than two weeks and Walla I got my license. Most price efficient and bang for buck compared to other schools I researched.

Positive experience: Ppl at the north city site are super nice. They encourage you before the test and work efficiently. But ppl at Chinatown site is not very friendly. The teacher generally is good, but not very instructive or patient. But the examiner is great： he comforts me when I was nervous. And he told me what aspects to pay more attention when driving in the future after the test. It’s a little bit expensive. But if you want to get the license very soon, it will be a good choice.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test today!! Ray is an amazing instructor who I had 2 lessons with before taking the test at their driving test center. I went from being very timid to a good driver thanks to Ray’s teaching and patience. Very fast and professional service. I would strongly recommend the practice before the test for anyone who isn’t able to get behind the wheel often. Setting appointments is easy and they always call and confirm before!

Negative experience: If I can give a zero star I would. I came here thinking I can get an important apartment lease notarized. The receptionist was incredibly rude and insisted she cannot provide the service. She kept flipping through my lease saying that she's done this many times before when I tried to explain where it says to notarize the document. They didn't provide an alternative for where I can get service. It's fine if you can't do the job, don't need to give attitude to costumers. I took my document back and went to TD Bank instead. Not only was notarization a free public service at TD, the receptionist was really kind and patient unlike the person at Success Driving School. I will never go back to Success ever again and do not recommend anyone go for notary services. Don't even waste your time at this place where people don't even want to bother with you.

Negative experience: I don’t know how to express my disappointment.The instructor wishes u to understand and follow what he said and makes no mistake,if u make a tiny mistake,full of blame.Never encourage students to have a better performance,only angry words to make u feel uncomfortable.Poor customer service.They deserve the low rate.

Negative experience: I went here to get my car registered and it was a terrible experience. Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had and they charged $180 to only register my car. Go to a different place to register your car.

The reason of why the people picking other school because its cheaper than success Driving School but success Driving School said that the reason of why their price is expensive than other school because they are better than them. Fantastic experience: Incredibly helpful. My parents were giving me their old car and I needed to transfer the title and register the car with PA. Went to Success on a Saturday morning (all other places are closed on the weekends). Only one other person ahead of me, didn't have to wait long. They told me exactly what I needed to do, completed all the paperwork for me, and followed up when they received my registration. Was worried taking over the car was going to be a huge hassle but Success made it easy and seamless! Thank you!

Positive experience: Got my title issued here -- they have a notary onsite so no need to bring the car to a mechanic. Expensive ($130 total) but very efficient -- I was in & out in 10 minutes, and they explained all the rules I needed and let me have my updated insurance card faxed. Staff was on the friendlier side.
