Fantastic experience: Mr. Tibbs is a fabulous driving instructor. My teen did great with lessons. He’s very experienced and the students are comfortable and encouraged by his instruction and approach. He believes in his students and I highly recommend this driving school. I would say it’s the best in the area.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Tibbs took the stress out of wrapping up our son's driver's licensing process! Our son had his online safety class and several hours of practice behind the wheel, but the idea of testing still caused a degree of anxiety. With CTS, our son was able to log observation hours and behind the wheel hours in a variety of circumstances/ settings. At the end of the week-long course, he successfully tested through CTS (they submit the paperwork to DMV & you receive license in the mail). Our family highly recommends Mr. Tibbs; he was polite, professional, prompt, calm, and knowledgeable. Mr. Tibbs helped our son gain skill and confidence. (He is easier to reach via phone call than texting in order to schedule.)

Fantastic experience: My daughter just completed her driving course with CTS driving school. She was a very nervous new driver, and Gary made her feel at ease. He is calm and soft spoken, and made conversation that kept her focused and comfortable behind the wheel. They went on all types of back roads, highways, local roads, notoriously tricky intersections, and busy areas, and helped her navigate safely and confidently. I can not recommend him enough, this driving school is truly top notch.

Fantastic experience: Gary Tibbs is an excellent instructor and has taught four of my teens! Each teen not only felt at ease and enjoyed the experience, but they learned valuable skills. They all felt more confident after his instruction, and all felt like he sincerely cared about them as individuals. We really appreciate how Mr. Tibbs is still available to answer questions even after the Behind the Wheel training was completed, and he helped us with any issues/questions concerning the DMV. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful he has been! I highly recommend CTS! Rose Culpepper Johnson is also an excellent instructor. She helped my teens prepare for the driver’s permit test, and she even provided extra instruction in areas of weakness. She was sincerely committed to helping my teens pass the permit test. We are thankful for her instruction and heart for the teens.

Negative experience: i didn’t go to this school. i called asking for more information, and when they finally answered, the receptionist was very rude and inpatient. the phone call itself was very hard to understand, and i was told that she would call back the next day. she never did.

Fantastic experience: I called from Georgia looking for someone to teach my daughter Gabby how to drive and liked Mr. Tibbs immediately! He taught Gabby how to drive quickly! She was very comfortable with him and learned how to drive on the highways, residential and back roads. Gabby got her license on a Monday and her car on Wednesday. I recommend anyone looking for Honest (other schools are rip-offs) driving school to call Mr. Tibbs!

I learned to drive within a month as I was under extreme time constraints to get a license because I was moving and having to drive back and forth to work. Even when I was hesitant and highly inquisitive about doing certain things, Mr. Tibbs remained patient with me and allowed me to go at a pace that was respectful of my anxiety, but also pushed me to do things I doubted of myself. I highly recommend him as a teacher !

Fantastic experience: I was a very nervous driver and he was very patient, and helped me gain confidence while driving. I drove all kinds of driving conditions and roads , even taught me parallel parking, He doesn't yell even if you mess up a little and has great people skills. I highly recommend this for anyone he also teaches driver's education! Dmv approved instructor! He is extremely busy and is not always available or respond quickly which may conflict with your schedule planning

Negative experience: I was driving to work yesterday taking 95N. I got on at Dale Blvd so I was on the side road (that also leads to the HOV when opened) in the left lane. This vehicle comes in from the 2nd on ramp on that section. I watched him, with his Driving School sign on his roof, SWING out into the shoulder to get in front of the vehicle before me when he should have been 2 cars behind me but he sped up. In the few yards before the PW Pkwy exit he kept swinging onto the shoulder as the merge lane now travels ALL the way UP to the exit to avoid mainline traffic. I was in front of him. He kept riding me bumper swinging onto the shoulder trying to pass me on a ONE lane exit. I had to stop because no one on the merge ramp seems to be able to read the YIELD sign THEY have to which I heard this SCREECH and he almost hit the car on the turn because he tried to cut in-front of them! and the SUV wasn't moving. I get onto the loop and he's behind me riding my bumper AGAIN! I stay in the right lane because I'm getting off at Canton turn just past HOV lot. He stomps the gas, swings out to the next lane and tries to gun it but the vehicle in-front of me had moved over and he had to slam on his brakes. I move into the new right turn lane as Canton becomes a dual turn right lane. He was behind me again. I was stopping for the light and he laid on his horn as I slowed down. As he passed me because he was taking Telegraph road (the first right) and FLIPPED me off as he passed. WOW! THIS is someone you want teaching YOUR children to drive? I don't want him ANYWHERE near my children. I was stunned and appalled at the unsafe, aggressive driving and obscene gestures from this man.

Negative experience: scheduled a meeting to get my daughter signed up for driving instruction. I got a call at 3:45 advising me that he would be late for our 4:00 meeting which was fine. He asked how long we would like to meet and I said 20-30 minutes. He seemed annoyed. Since vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death for teenagers I thought 20-30 minutes was a reasonable amount of time to spend qualifying a driving instructor. I followed up with him at 5:45 since he hadn't showed up or called again. It's almost 7:00 and still nothing. His prices are reasonable but I guess you get what you pay for. Do not trust this company with your teen driver.
