Fantastic experience: A-1 driving school really exceeded my expectations. The online registration process was easy, the website is very easy to navigate. The emails explaining when and how class would be held were clear and sent out promptly. The instructor was knowledgeable and informative. Though he was by the book, as he should be , he made the class enjoyable. I definitely recommend A1 driving school to anyone who may find themselves in a predicament where they need a driving school.

Fantastic experience: Had to take a risk reduction course through A-1. It was very easy to sign up and make my payment. The course itself was very easy to understand and my instructor did a great job of going through each lesson. They took their time to make sure everyone knew what was going on and helping understand the material. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Took the A-1 Driving School to get a speeding ticket dismissed and no points on license. The class is long but fairly painless. I've got a huge monitor so just did split screen with the Zoom class on one side and was able to get some other stuff done while attending class. By doing it this way you're always present on the camera which is required. And just every now often I would chime in with an answer when instructor was asking questions to make sure you're still alive. They do a 10 minute break every hour and an hour for lunch.

Negative experience: I passed the test even though the instructor refused to put the cones back up for me after the guy before me knocked them down. I couldn’t see where I was supposed to parallel park.

Fantastic experience: A-1driving school was a virtual 6 hour interactive course. The discussion with the other participants were very lively and interesting and made the time go by very fast. Ron , the instructor shared a lot of interesting information .

Negative experience: They stole my money the host block me from the class.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this company. I signed my daughter up for the joshua law class and road testing. I received an email the day before stating the class was going to be a zoom. When I signed my daughter up I suggested in person. My daughter and I set her up 45 minutes before the class was supposed to start. Because in the email, it stated be ready thirty minutes before. She was removed from the zoom was at nine sixteen a m. by the host. It took me 20 minutes to finally get someone on the phone. And when I got that person they gave me no answers. Other than we don't know why the the host removes the people if they don't see or them hear them. This is a ridiculous excuse and there is no communication. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Now we have to reschedule everything because she could not be added back in.

Negative experience: Instructor canceled last minute. Tried calling main number and they just hang up. I booked appointments two months before.

Negative experience: This school is a scam. The office in Gainesville is not staffed. You cannot ever get them to answer. The drivers were not available in my area for months outside of school hours. They would not call back when I left messages. They then refused to even look into a refund because it's was past their deadline. The manager Kerri told me I was lying when I stated this. Then stated that no one was working at that office as if it was my fault. Then hung up on me very unprofessional. They are the worst driving school I have ever dealt with. I wish I could give 0 stars. Do not spend your money with this hack job.

Negative experience: Horrible experience! We signed our teen daughter up for a series of 2 hour classes and had to schedule them in Stockbridge due to availability. We made arrangements for our daughter to be picked up for her lessons yet an hour from the time they were supposed to start... nothing. Called the main office which scrambled to figure out what was going on and they then moved the classes to another day. 2nd attempt comes around and no show again. This was 120 mile round trip for us each time and we weren't even given a courtesy call that the instructor wasn't going to show up. Trying to get our money back now but even that is proving to be difficult. At least they're giving me time to post these reviews.

Fantastic experience: They were able to help me change my class in reschedule my appointment time for the defensive driving course to another day when I was having technical difficulties using my device. when I was taking the class I was very entertained with my professional they gave to me he describe to me what defensive driving was and he would call on use to give a answer to different questions to keep Our focus in the chat over the phone and Told us different stuff about the topic and even more about given us a little short stories to go with the topic they give us a better feel of what we were listening to. All in all they came through on their promise.

Fantastic experience: The class was great.. long but Darryl Oliver did a very good job keeping us motivated and engaged in class. Learned alot about the reasons I ended up in the class. Made me face a harsh reality but also betterment of myself. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Darryl, the instructor I had for the 3 day session was engaged & entertaining. He kept the program interesting beyond the material and adapted to the online format very well. I would recommend A-1's program to others as the time seemed to cruise on by (for an otherwise tedious endeavor) with emphasis where it needed to be and an attentive, non-judgmental approach to all participants' situations.

Fantastic experience: I just attended a State Certified Defensive Driving Class at A1 today and I have to say I’m impressed with the professionalism of the teacher Harry Siebold. His method of teaching was not only extremely informative and educational, but also relaxing. I had no idea what to expect since I’ve attended so many seminars and other various classes. Each one is very different. Mr Siebold was professional and his personality was enlightening. My hat goes off to A1 for employing teachers like Mr Siebold to help us all operate our vehicles much safely on the hazardous roads today.

The instructor gave so much good examples of what to do and what not to do. The instructor was very hilarious and very entertaining. I’m very glad that I chose this location.

Positive experience: My son took the defensive driving course due a judges order. Ms. Claudia and the instructor were very nice and helpful. My son said it was a good class with good information; he liked the instructor & pizza.

Fantastic experience: The material was a little dry, but it's important stuff to review. The instructor made it as painless as possible, and when I had my court date (for speeding), my fine was cut in half and no points were assessed to my license. I really enjoyed Mr. Ford's relaxed, friendly, approachable demeanor. He's a real asset to the driving school!

John Ford was very good, he took the subject of defensive driving seriously but also made it interesting for us all. I was able to learn something in this class which I will be applying to my driving.

Fantastic experience: On Saturday morning 9/23/17 I had to complete a course for Defensive Driving for the first time in my 50 years after having 2 minor accidents so close together. I am so happy that I attended. Dr. Averhart was totally awesome from the moment I walked in & he explained the 6 hour course with his wonderful personality. :) Everyone at the Jesse Jewel location in Gainesville Georgia was off the chain with niceness & the classroom was perfect.
