Negative experience: Not a fan, going with a different school. Not organized and not motivated to continue here at all. Best of luck!

Negative experience: Horrible experience here. A friend recommended me here because he said the instructors were good and he passed on the first test. A complete opposite to the type of experience my friend had. The owners don’t open the actual building they used as their office anymore so instead you have to wait in front of the school for them to pick you up. Mind you they don’t care if it’s freezing outside or anything you have to wait for them to come and pick you up in the rickety, run down cars they choose to give you. Very unprofessional if you ask me. Aswell as doing this Jose, who’s one of the instructors, would also have his phone connected to the cars infotainment system so occasionally his phone would blast through the speakers and he’ll be answering calls or emails while on your lesson. Most importantly however, I took 11 lessons as part of the 11 lesson package practicing using a black Toyota Camry and then on the day of my road test he decided to set me up for the test with a white Nissan Sentra. Now you can say that every car has a different feel etc. But this white Nissan Sentra has a very, very sensitive acceleration pedal and i guarantee you anyone who has used that car for the first time has hit the gas too hard and has sent the car flying. The instructors even know about this as their other instructor, Hugh, joked to me on the day of the road test that they had another student who was setup with the same Nissan Sentra but he had no experience with it. So the test starts and the student obviously got messed up because of the gas pedal and ended up failing in about 10 seconds. The instructors found that funny and I’m not sure if that student decided to proceed with champion auto school after that point but if he did I’m sure they told him he would have to pay another 120$ to schedule another test just like they did to me. 100% would not recommend anyone going here until these guys start to act like actual professionals or they fix the many problems wrong with this place.

Fantastic experience: Joseph is a professional yes, but beyond that he is a people person. Instruction is clear and concise with humor alongside to compliment. As long as you pay attention and truly WANT your license, you are guaranteed to pass with Champion Auto!

Fantastic experience: Instructors here are very helpful and knowledgeable. It took me two lessons to be comfortable with the road, and we had gone over every aspect of the road test by then. They'll let you know every little detail you'll be graded on during the test and how you'll fix it. Passed my roadtest on the first attempt thanks to them. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Unlike most driving schools they actually want you to pass your road test. When I started at champion auto I came from another driving school who was out to get me for my money and I could tell from the first lesson that champion auto wanted the best for me. Here they actually teach you techniques for parallel parking and what instructors are looking for on the road test. The major thing about champion auto is that they care. Other driving schools are just trying to make a buck.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful to everyone at Champion Auto School for making learning how to drive and coordinating all of the different aspects that go into preparing students how to drive (setting up road test date, 5 hour online instruction, and of course, providing exceptional lessons). I got the 10 class package and came into the lessons wanting to learn how to drive but also boosting confidence. All of my teachers were thoughtful in how they gave me feedback which helped my confidence immensely. I passed the road test on the first try and I could not have done so without the team's support. Fantastic experience: All the staff at Champion auto school is super nice and always ready to assist. Veronica and Jose were my 2 instructors and I couldn’t have ask for better teachers. They are both so calm and gentle with their teaching methods. They never made you feel uncomfortable even while they correct your errors on the road. Veronica plays all the best songs on the radio which always calms me and Jose keeps great conversations going which distracted me from being anxious but still focus on the road which can only best prepare you for real life situations. Fantastic experience: Exceptional experience, everybody at Champion Auto was very nice, understanding and encouraging. The owner Jose is terrific at his job. He helped me get a another test date only 6 days after failing the first time. The whole staff really wants you to succeed! Definitely the best driving school in Brooklyn, they offer the best test sites and are very accommodating for dates! They helped me get my license in one month and only 6 lessons thanks to friendly and experienced instructors (Jose and Veronica) that gave me useful driving tips. Fantastic experience: I tried a different driving school before this one and not to say that the other driving school didnt do it’s job, but I only took 3 lessons leading up to my road test and I passed it with a breeze and this was my second road test attempt. Champion definitely has a way of making you feel comfortable, guiding you in every little step especially parking and turning and just overall helping you pass the test!!

For those who have any anxiety or doubts, this school does a good job of working with you through those feelings and give specific advice throughout your lessons. Fantastic experience: Best driving school in bklyn! I've tried a few but this one is the most accommodating and flexible. I worked late and they still worked around my schedule. They were so patient and helpful especially Jo. Everyone in the office and most of the drivers I would like to thank for giving such good advice and helping me pass the test the first try! Fantastic experience: Disclaimer: This is not a glowing endorsement that came as a result of passing my road test. I took the exam this morning and will not know the results until later today. With that being said, this driving school is amazing and I'd recommend in an instant. Ms. Keisha is the aunt I didn't know I needed. She made me feel very comfortable and helped boost my confidence. I know I'll likely butcher his name but I think it's Donquel (younger male instructor) was considerably less patient and less comfortable instructing. His teaching style was not compatible w my learning. My biggest complaint was that he had a tendency of being over excited when critiquing which made me feel like I was making life threatening mistakes but would later casually say encouraging things as if I weren't as bad as he originally made me feel. He also had a habit of grabbing the wheel which was nerve wracking but in giving him the benefit of the doubt I'm sure being in vehicles w people who cannot drive causes anxiety. He did try to prepare me to drive beyond passing the road test which I appreciate. Then there was Mr. Hugh who miraculously taught me to park during my last 90 minute lesson. He is an absolute gem. All in all, regardless of your skill set and comfort level I'm fairly confident this school has an instructor that'll work for you. Even the office staff is supportive and very communicative.

Fantastic experience: Champion really does do their best to set you up for success. They partner you with a variety of instructors, each with their own approach to helping you feel confident on the road. I went into my first lesson, never having been behind the wheel of a car and came out of my 10th lesson with enough skill to pass the NY Road test on my first try. The staff- from the office manager to the owner and instructors create a hospitable and professional environment and do what they can to maintain that atmosphere. I had set out with a goal at the beginning of 2021 to pass the road test and finish the year off with taking a road trip and I just came back from a weekend trip to Beacon, NY. You're lucky if you have Veronica or Hugh as an instructor. Don't hesitate if you're a nervous, first-time driver remember they have the instructor brake!

Negative experience: I gave this 2 stars because this place has it's up side. Veronica was my favorite teacher. She was very helpful. For everyone else, I believe I was set up to fail. In my final test, the teacher shared with me that he didn't think, I would pass, which was unnecessary information and then on the drive to the driving test, that same teacher was speeding, eating chicken while steering the wheel of the car, cursing at other drivers and handling personal business while me and another guy sat in the car. That wasn't the best way to prepare for the test. Then during the road test, I put the car in drive and it went backwards and was never taught how to fix that situation or switch gears or anything. I wish that I was given the same teacher for my lessons. Instead it felt like they just threw the kitchen sink at me and the best fit for me wasn't given. My wife and I will get more lessons elsewhere. But we have friends who have passed with this school so it's not all bad.

Fantastic experience: I had initially taken lessons at another well-known location in the area and the inconsistency with the teaching method there made it impossible for me to learn. I felt like there were noticeable improvements with my driving with each lesson here. They scheduled all my lessons in advance so I never had to worry about scheduling conflicts, and they were very communicative throughout the whole process. The lessons were spaced out perfectly leading up to the exam, with a final lesson on the day of the exam. Although I was nervous, I knew I would pass. I cannot express how happy and relieved I am to have found this place. Thank you to everyone here for your help. If anyone is on the fence about which driving school to choose, I would highly recommend this one.

I passed my road test after the first try. I went with a ton of different driving schools but ChampionAutoSchool is a different entity. Fantastic experience: I always wanted to get my license, but my demanding career and schedule have kept me from getting it. Once quarantine hit, I knew I needed to get it. My girlfriend and I found Champion right by our apartment! They were very accommodating to my schedule (I could only take one class a week). Everyone on staff was great and very personal. I highly recommend this school above any other. The sites they take you to for lessons are great for beginners, and each instructor has their own location that they like, which switches up your experience every time. All in all, I can’t say enough about this school which helped me get on the road!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Champion Auto School during this pandemic was well worth the cost. I took 6 lessons and Passed my Road test guys !!! So happy I came across this driving school. The instructors Veronica, Jose, Hugh were extremely helpful and polite. And the receptionist Karina. Fantastic experience: I found this school through a google search and after reading all the amazing reviews I decided to give it a try. This driving school did not disappoint and the reviews proved to be true. The staff is exceptional and the instructors are calm, encouraging and overall amazing. I was an extremely nervous driver who had a less than pleasant experience with a previous driving school years ago where I took 10 lessons but still couldn't drive. I was able to confidently pass my road test after 5 lessons at this school in less than 2 weeks. Special thanks to instructor Veronica for being patient with me and Hugh for all the tips and encouragement just on the day of my road test.

Fantastic experience: At 29 years old, I finally wanted to get over my debilitating fear of driving -enter Champion Auto School. I bought the 10 lesson package which also happened to be the best deal I found in Brooklyn. Signing up was simple with Karina the receptionist who booked all my appointments in one shot! Jo and Hugh are patient and friendly instructors who really give you the best feedback. The positive atmosphere not only taught me how to drive but how to think while driving! I honestly would not have been able to pass my road test if it weren’t for this school. No amount of pep talk from family and friends would have been enough to even get me to drive. I came to this school very hesitant due to going to another driving school that closed down and took my money without any warning. Fantastic experience: I did the all inclusive 3 course package with them! The 5 hour class was really informative and not boring at all! And the driving classes were GREAT! They really prepared me for my road test, they know all the ins and outs of all the test sites, and I cannot say enough good things about them. They also scheduled my road test for me and took me there with their car, and the morning of really calmed my nerves before I took it. I cannot recommend them enough.

Their instructors are fantastic, and will make sure you're set and ready to go to take the test. They couldn't be nicer and they will help you plan your appointments around your own schedule. Fantastic experience: Began the first week of January (took the 5 classes package) and by the end of the same month I took the exam. I was told that out of 100% of people that take the driving exam their first time 52% fail... Yet I didn't. Thanks for the help to all instructors of this school!
