Fantastic experience: Took a 93 year old , friend to be evaluated on his driving skills . Jim , took excellent care of him and reviewed his skills . Being around , my 93 year old friend , I knew he shouldn't be driving . Jim definitely , saw what I saw, and for his safety and others safety , did not recommend him to drive . Yes he was disappointed , but I definitely agree , his reaction time , observation time , and quick thinking , has slowed throughout the years . I would definitely recommend , this to any family , that has a loved one up in years , to be evaluated , by Apex ! Thank you Jim , for being kind , professional and caring , towards our seniors !

Fantastic experience: I signed up my daughter Adeline for driving school lessons. I had been teaching her on my own, but she and I both thought getting professional instruction outside of family would be helpful. It really paid off! She had seven lessons with Mr. Nate Ferrero...one individual lesson as an assessment of her current skills, and then she took the 6-lesson course. Mr. Ferrero was both very professional and friendly, which helped put my daughter at ease learning from him. I could not believe how much more comfortable she was driving after her six lessons! During her last lesson, the day before her driving test, Mr. Ferrero went over what to expect on the test. The next day, she passed her test on the first try! I highly recommend APEX Driving School. Very friendly and professional staff will give you the instruction and confidence to pass the test and become a safe driver.

Fantastic experience: I had 6 behind the wheel lessons with jim and it was amazing i was anxious at first but after my first lesson the anxiety went away he has a great sense of humor and he believed in me which really helped and its all because of him i got to pass my road test thank you so much to jim and the apex team you guys are amazing at what you do and i will make sure to recommend everyone i know to apex

Fantastic experience: The best option to overcome your fear of driving and pass your driving test. Coach Peter is a teaching-oriented person, very patient and friendly. Each of the lessons I took with him was structured and purposeful. He definitely helped me overcome my fear of driving after a car accident and also helped me pass the road test on the first try. 100% recommended.

Fantastic experience: I took drivers ed over a semester in high school and was surprised that my county in KY did not have this option as well. I did my best teaching my 16 year old daughter but felt we needed more guidance. Apex and Coach Jim were fantastic and I really wish I had known about this driving school months ago! Fantastic experience: Really cannot recommend Apex Driving School enough. Before starting my behind the wheel lessons, I had almost no experience and a big fear of driving. I did not trust myself at all behind the wheel. Jim Peters was a great instructor, who in only eight lessons helped me overcome my fear of driving. As someone who is often shy and uncomfortable when meeting new people, Jim was a very friendly and approachable instructor. After the first lesson I was no longer afraid of the lessons, but excited for them. Now I have my driver's license thanks to Apex Driving. If you see all the five star reviews and wonder if Apex Driving School is really that good, I can promise that yes it really is.

Fantastic experience: I signed my son Devin up for 6 behind the wheel driving classes at their Nicholasville location and he had Jim as his instructor. I was so anxious trying to teach my son how to drive so I brought him to apex and Jim truly helped my son learn how to drive, my son is so much safer and confident when driving now and I want to give all the credit to Jim for all his help. He can see what’s happening before it happens and his observant nature is the most safety forward thinking I could imagine. An extremely common quiz he would run on me during my early days in driving, were asking me what color a runners shirt was. Asking if I saw 2 people walking on the sidewalk, or if it was a dog and their owner. All of this being such a positive way of looking at driving, being that it is a privilege and everyone’s safety around your vehicle is so important and to always keep in mind. Fantastic experience: Apex driving school is awesome. Their schedule is very flexible and they are very prompt in replying to any of the queries. I had taken 6 behind the wheel classes and Jim was my instructor. He exactly knows where the student is lacking in his driving and focuses there accordingly. Jim helped me to prepare all the skills I needed to qualify for the driving test as well as he accompanied me to the DMV office and made sure I passed the test. Based on my experience, I will definitely recommend joining the apex driving school if you are planning to appear for your driving test.

The driving instructor and the state police (who drove with him) both said that he was the best driver they’ve had for awhile!! They both raved about how well he did!!
