At first I was hesitant because it wasn’t a well known driving school but I’m glad I decided to stick with this place. Passed my driving test on my FIRST EVER TRY and it’s all thanks to Ian my instructor who was patient but also very knowledgeable in knowing how to explain driving terminology (ex. Three point turn, parallel parking, etc.) Thank You Ian for helping me learn how to drive!

Fantastic experience: Listen, if you're looking to book your driving lessons and not sure which school to choose, I highly recommend CURVE Driving School. Ian was my instructor, and he was more than amazing, he is a great instructor too. After failing two road tests with other schools, I passed my test today after just three lessons with Ian. He was patient with me and explained everything in depth. Whatever they're charging, it's definitely bang for your buck!

Fantastic experience: Before my first lesson, I didn’t even know which pedal was the gas and which was the brake. Yesterday, I passed the road test on my first try, and I genuinely believe if anyone else had been my instructor, I probably wouldn’t have been able to do it. Ian is not only an amazing instructor, but a great man. He is kind, generous, and open-minded. I have learned so much more from him than just how to drive. I am grateful to have met such a genuine, stand-up person. If you’re nervous about driving or are an anxious person like me, I say commit yourself to the idea that when you’re in the car with Ian, you are a student. Open your ears and mind just focus on what he says, and you’ll find that it’s really not that bad. Ian will not fail you!! Fantastic experience: On March 2023, I failed my first road test and immediately decided that first driving school wasn't teaching me where I was the weakest. I spent the following year practicing where I failed and at the same time looking for a new school. My brother told me of Curve Driving School and decided to take a look. Fast forward and I meet Ian - a very chill and patient instructor but I quickly learned he is serious about helping you improve. From the first lesson he quickly pointed out my weaknesses and spent the next few classes on improving them. He would teach you tricks you wouldn't think of to learn all the skills to pass the road test, and becoming a safer driver. I would highly recommend any novice driver to learn from Ian and guarantee he will help you.

Fantastic experience: ITS OFFICIAL!! I AM NOW LICENSED!!! My experience at Curve Driving School has been nothing short of INCREDIBLE. After failing my driving test TWICE with another different driving school I luckily found curve and boy oh boy; we started from scratch. Just after taking my first two lessons with Ian, I gained so much confidence, and UNDERSTANDING. I am just amazed that in only 6 lessons, I became such a sufficient driver. Thank you Ian, for your incomparable service. From the first lesson to the drivers test your sufficiency, support and knowledge led me to finally getting my license.

Negative experience: Run far away from this driving school. The communication was horrible. During the driver lessons Ian played music and was constantly on the phone and also cursed at me while teaching how to drive. He wasn't an effective teacher. He was also rude for no reason! I do not recommend to any WOMEN to take driving lesson! Run!!

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my road test at the Havemeyer site in the Bronx. I joined Curve Driving because it was recommended to me by an associate. Thank you Ian for the time and effort you put into our lessons. Ian is professional, patient, and attentive. He gave good tips - tips for steering the wheel, using crosswalk indicators to know when a red or green light is coming, and driving with the brake. On the morning of the test, Ian gave an overview on what to expect, and I appreciated that. Overall, a good instructor who really cares for the safety and driving efficiency of his students. Good luck everyone with your driving journey. Please take your time, ask questions if your confused, and stay focused. Know the rules of the road, scan the road at all times and look up ahead to see what is happening before you. Be very mindful of your speed as you turn into a lane. Driving isn't all that hard. Consistent practice goes a long way, so I recommend getting a package with a good amount of lessons.

Ian was an excellent instructor, I came to him as a recommendation and I can say that I never regretted. I came from another school where everything was thought a specific way and if you don’t do it you’ll fail. Fantastic experience: I passed my road test with Curve Driving School! I had previously taken lessons with a different driving school and failed. I was discouraged and did not try again for two years. Luckily, I found Curve Driving School when I was ready to try again. Ian is an excellent teacher. Positive experience: I got a package but never completed it. I would say I appreciated getting experience to go on the road the first day with no prior driving experience it helped with my fear of driving. However, I felt as though the instructor was very particular with every movement I made, which made me feel more anxious. I went to a different school, I felt like I had more freedom with my driving. But overall nice guy, I did learn.

Fantastic experience: It was a smooth process to purchase a package and schedule lessons and the road test. I was on a time crunch, so I absolutely loved that I was able to do double lessons! Ian is a knowledgeable, patient, and friendly instructor. He provided me with all the tips to not only pass the road test, but be the most alert and safe driver. Prior to the road test, he gave a quick refresher of all the important things to do and keep in mind, which was *chefs kiss*. I was able to pass my road test on the first try with a 95 . I would recommend Curve Driving School to everyone.

I know I was, but Instructor Ian was very patient with me and treated me more as a neighbor than a customer. Always followed-up with me with helpful tools and videos after every lesson and leading up to the test. They know what the test examiner is looking for during test, the roads we will be taking, even down to the personality of the individual examiner at curtain test sites. Fantastic experience: I don’t know where to start! I’m over the moon. I did only two lessons with Ian after not driving for several years. I was staying away from the wheels due to my severe anxiety. As Caribbean European I developed many bad habits and of course different techniques and road codes have been embedded in me. Ian was amazing, professional and clear with his instructions. He took me on the road and in two sessions I was able to correct and adapt the necessary skills needed to pass my test. I don’t know how to thank this man!
