Negative experience: very shitty service never answers the phone makes it 100x more difficult to schedule an appointment,do not recommend

Fantastic experience: If I could give Mr D’s 1000 stars, I would! Truly an amazing experience for anyone who needs to take their driving test. I was super nervous for my test, but Walter completely put me at ease and built my confidence up so much. He helped me with parallel parking using his fail-proof technique, and gave me lots of tips and advice on how to improve my driving. As someone who learned to drive in a different country and moved to the US in recent years, he was able to speak into the differences when driving in the US and explained everything so clearly. Walter has a heart of gold, and is incredibly patient and personable. In fact, all of the team I encountered at Mr D’s were so friendly, especially the lady at reception. Great job Mr D’s - you guys know what you are doing and do it incredibly well! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I went to take my drivering test today and I was extremely nervous especially for the parallel parking part but Walter was my driver instructor and he made it so much easier on me, he assured me before we even hit the road on what to be very cautious about. Overall it was a great experience and there really is no reason to be nervous especially if Walter will be your driving instructor!!! Amie was a very big help in the process of scheduling my appointment and very patient when it came to all the paperwork I needed in order to take the test

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Mr. D's driving school. As a beginner, I have many things that I need to improve in driving. Mr. Mackenzie thought me a lot of proper ways on driving and techniques in easiest way. Some points of view to remember to where it makes it more easier to do. Fantastic experience: I recently came in for a drive test and let me tell you I would absolutely recommend this place over any other place. It is strikingly different from a test at the DPS office, and a much better experience. Mr. Mackenzie was an incredible instructor, and you WILL learn from him. There is nothing to lose! Fantastic experience: Eye-opening experience compared to the DPS. This is honestly an extraordinary option for teen drivers looking for a driving test or driving school. I had a road test with Mr. Mackenzie and he was a very professional and understanding guy. He is very stern and straight-forward all for good reasons, I came to respect him within minutes. All he wants is the best of the people driving on these roads and for you. It was definitely very nerve-wracking but Mr. Mackenzie taught me things about driving and honestly a little about my character even if it was unintentional. All love and respect goes out to him. Fantastic experience: I had a driving test today with Walter. It went smoothly and at the end he gave me tips on what I needed to work on. Yes I passed, and very much quicker process than dps. Next day appointment for me after calling. Also what caught my eye is the stand with a stack of bibles free to whoever wanted them and scripture through out. Loved seeing that. Thank you Mr Ds

Fantastic experience: I am new to Texas and was feeling very overwhelmed and confused by the parent taught process. We were ready to just pay this school to take care of it all for us. Amy walked me through everything and helped me understand the process and how drivers ed works in Texas. She was so helpful that I was able to figure out the parent taught program. They are not just out to take your money. She really cared and helped me. I will recommend this school to everyone who needs one. Should we ever need one in the future, this is where we will be going. Thanks Amy!

Fantastic experience: I went to Mr. D's to get a class, a tutorial, and then my driving test. I had a great experience with both of my instructors. They were kind, knowledgeable, and focused on my learning more than anything else. Mr. Mackenzie was incredibly understanding and kind. He is also a great teacher. Even after I get my driver's license I plan to get some lessons at Mr. D's Driving Center. Thank you so much Mr D's Driving Center, you have been a blessing to me.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Mackenzie was incredibly nice and understanding for my drivers test. He was very kind during the test to make sure I was ok with what I was doing I would recommend Mr.D’s driving school to anybody who I know who needs to take the driving test.

Negative experience: Well seeing how someone was driving there student driver car #1 this morning in Tyler, NEVER used their blinker once while changing lanes plus speeding through a school zone, I will never send my kids somewhere, where instructors don’t do the right thing. No wonder Tyler has horrible drivers, the instructors don’t even follow the rules.

Negative experience: I am writing to express my disappointment and disgust with the unprofessional conduct of Mr. Mackenzie, a driving instructor at Mr. D's Driving Center. My girlfriend took a driving test with Mr. Mackenzie. During the test, Mr. Mackenzie made derogatory and offensive comments to her, such as "You don't know what you're doing" and "You don't have the knowledge to drive here." He also dismissed her questions and became increasingly annoyed when she asked for clarification. Mr. Mackenzie's behavior was not only unprofessional but also completely unacceptable. It is the responsibility of a driving examiner to provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students become safe and confident drivers. Mr. Mackenzie's comments were belittling and discouraging, and they left my girlfriend feeling humiliated and traumatized.

Fantastic experience: Great place to do the drivers test, took both of my children at age 16 and the instructor was friendly and made them feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Best driving school in town. Had my driving tutorial and test done by Walter, it was a great experience learning road rules here in the US, he made sure i understand road safety rules and gave me guidance when i needed. This driving school is staffed by friendly and accomodating employee. Will definitely recomend this.

Fantastic experience: Best place to take your roadside test if you would prefer a personal touch. You have the option of using your own vehicle and there are fees for services. Services vary so be sure to call for options. Unfortunately, the web site is not as user friendly as it could be. Walter and Regina are extremely helpful and personable instructors. My personal experience aligned with Walter, he's kind, patient, yet stern. Both instructors provide guidance. Regardless of age, this establishment is thorough and they take their responsibility seriously. The building is small, appointments are necessary and required, but the quality of the experience is unmatched. Some other schools make you feel like a number, these instructors respect you as an individual and allow you to leave more knowledgeable than when you entered.

Fantastic experience: I am the primary driving instructor for my teen, wanted to give her a different perspective & Mr. D's provided that & more. Friendly, professional office to greet clients & the hours spent on the road gave her a boost in confidence as well as teachable moments. Well worth the drive from Bullard to provide this learning experience that is of upmost importance for the safety of teen drivers.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! Very caring, compassionate people. Patient and understanding of teen drivers. Commiuntate with your teen to give them constructive criticism. No rudeness and lack of personalityl ike you get at the DMV. When you first walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile and caring attitude. They have worship music playing, which is calming. They also had a book shelf with free Bibles to take if needed. Christian environment. Would highly recommend this place for taking your teen for their road test. We did the parent taught online course. We didn't use them for that. But I am sure they would be amazing if you prefer someone else than yoursel to teach your teen. Definitely use them for your teen. Thanks Mr D's for making my teens experience calming and amazing!!!

Fantastic experience: Mr.D & Mrs.Regina have got to be some of the nicest people I have ever had the pressure of dealing with while inside a business. From the moment we walked in the door for my son to have a lesson then take his test, to the tile we left to go get his Lisence after passing his test. They made sure we were prepared through the entire process. Called before I was suppose to call myself and took the time to get us scheduled and paid for so the process was smoother and faster when we show up. I enjoyed talking to Regina while waiting there for my son to get back from his lesson and test.. it felt more like sitting there and catching up with or talking with a friend more then just meeting a stranger and talking for five minutes. My son said he felt so comfortable and was so excited Mr.D made it easy and fun. Please go see them if you or anyone you know needs their drivers Lisence or just a lesson. The instructor for the driving test was very cordial and funny, andt really took the stress out of the process. And they got us in so fast! They had a next day appointment for a driving test, which is SO much better than waiting 6 months at the DMV. You do have to pay for the test, but I'd do it again every time. Seriously, they're fantastic.

Fantastic experience: i took my drivers test here yesterday and i highly recommended this place. i came there very nervous because the first time i took it i took it in my truck (lifted dodge) and failed on the parallel parking and the first lady i took it with was very rude. then when i went to mr. d’s i took it in another friends car and it was obvious i was really nervous and the lady who gave me my road test was extremely nice, understanding and calmed me down before we even stepped foot in the car. 100/10 recommend!!

A huge benefit of Mr. D's is that you can also take your DPS test with them too and an added bonus is that you can do that on a Saturday so you don't have to take time off school or work.
