Fantastic experience: My Nephew did his last 2 hours of driving requirements from Bob. And my Nephew loved it. Said he was very knowledgeable and actually taught him some stuff that he hadn't learned in the previous 4 hours with another driving school. Bob took the time to walk him through every step of the test, paperwork and even put all the necessary paperwork in a ziplock bag to keep everything together and easy for a 16 yo to remember. My Nephew has already recommended Bob to his friends!. Oh and by the way, My Nephew passed the DMV test.

Negative experience: My daughter's experience with this driving school has been extremely disappointing. The owner, Bob, consistently displays unacceptable behavior, including making racist, rude, and inappropriate comments during lessons. Beyond that, he's unprofessional, often arriving late, answering personal calls during sessions, and rushing through lessons. His disrespectful discussions about clients' financial situations, beliefs, or race are simply appalling. As noted by another Yelp reviewer, there's evidence of him upcharging clients based on their neighborhood. I strongly advise avoiding this driving school, as there are undoubtedly better options that prioritize your time, money, and overall well-being.

Negative experience: Terrible disrespectful guy named Bobbie he said I would never be able to drive and got mad over everything instead of helping me and showing me the right way he got mad and frustrated about it called me a special need asked if I have adhd so disrespectful I felt harassed I should be the one sueing him he makes u sign something so u don’t post bad about him but honestly if he does come after me I’ll be the one winning that court case I then went to a different driving school passed on my second test and was treated with respect and really bonded with the other school that had a five star review this is why I always will for now on look at ratings before anything wish I could give this guy no stars he even came in his own car

Fantastic experience: As a father of three high schoolers finding a driving instructor who teaches, not just to pass the drivers test, but, learn to drive safely, is very important. Bob has helped both of my daughter's become alert, confident and courteous drivers and both passed their drivers test on their first try. Bob was also took precautions to keep his vehicle clean and safe during this age of COVID. He is also flexible with his schedule including a last minute rescheduling of my 2nd daughter's last driving lesson before her test when the DMV postponed her test the day before her appointment. I highly recommend Bob for learning to drive. I will have him teach my son starting in May 2021 when he turns 15 1/2.

Covid somewhat messed up the process of everything for my son, and i was limited on time. Life safety driving school got him in, he had weekly appts, and the communication was amazing. He finished and we schedule his DMV drive test. Life safety driving school met us at the DMV and handled it all for us, and we even got too use the car my son has been practicing in. Fantastic experience: I have the number to Life Safety Diving School saved as "Best Driving Instructor". As a 27 y/o mother of 2 who frequently moves for work, it had become more dire that I learn how to drive, and due to an upcoming relocation, I didn't have budget to burn on extra attempts to take the test. I informed Bob that I would be moving in 3 weeks. He taught me how to drive in only 2 weeks, and I passed on my first attempt at taking the BTW test! He was always prompt-if not early, to our driving lessons. He told me the DMV test would be a breeze for me, and at the end of 2 weeks, the DMV test was simple. Bob doesn't just sit in the passenger seat quietly; he provides patient, honest instruction/feedback; asks critical questions; provides diagrams and reading. His ultimate goal is not just to make sure his students are competent drivers, but also SAFE drivers, who will not be a danger to others nor themselves. Bob is truly the best!

His calm demeanor and expertise were the perfect combination to teach my 16 yr old daughter how to drive. Prior to her first lesson with Bob, she had not driven at all! Bob lived up to his claim of, "we treat our students like family." After two lessons, my daughter passed her DMV driving exam the first try! Negative experience: This driving school deserves no stars whatsoever, in fact they should not be in business (especially being around our children). The owner Bobby is the most unprofessional individual I have ever had the non-pleasure of dealing with in my life. You would think they value the customer experience, and care about making a profit, but judging by the way this man conducted himself its puzzling to me how he justifies his behavior as appropriate in anyway. 1. He showed up at my residence and began on giving his unsolicited opinions on the apartments on my street (which ones are bad, and which ones are really bad). I was not hiring him for real-estate advice. 2. He asked if my daughter has ever driven, I said a little in Oxnard as I used to live there, then he said "oh you lived there, you're doing much better now huh?!". Excuse me?! How does he know where I've lived in Oxnard (or if it's better or worst). I was getting insulted by his rude comments. He told me he refuses to service the Oxnard area, especially "La Colonia" area because its dangerous. I'm sorry, but its only dangerous if you are in gangs and live that life style. So, I guess kids in Oxnard don't deserve to get driving lessons because of where they live. This man kept putting his foot in his mouth. 3. This man was obligating me to provide him with my work information, I told him I am currently on a leave and not working. He told me he cannot move forward with the lesson unless I provide him with my work information. I found this to be a really weird request as I was paying cash, and my work has nothing to do with my daughter's driving lesson. He said sorry but "company policy", so I walked away. Feeling extremely discriminated because my daughter could not take driving lessons due to me not being able to provide work information, I called the man back to informed him, that he was discriminating my daughter because of my work status, and also mentioned to him how insulting it was to hear all his judgements about people in Oxnard since I am from there and of Mexican descent (Oxnard is predominately people of Mexican heritage). I told him he is no better than Mexicans, as he himself is an Indian minority then he yelled "I am not Indian, I am an American Citizen" (in an Indian accent). I told him I was going to report him, he started threatening to call the police, and said "bye Mexican" and hung up the phone on me. I've lived in T.O. for nearly 5 years, and the one time I've experienced racism was by an Indian man with a major chip on his shoulder. Do not give this man business. Do not trust your children with him. If he's able to be so unprofessional and cruel with his words, I can not imagine how he would be around our children. He's beyond unprofessional, and his discriminating business practices are unlawful.

Fantastic experience: This is a very good driving school. I took 8 hours of training and passed my driving test with 0 mistakes. Bobby teaches very well. Even people at DMV were praising him.

After 6 hours of diligent lessons, my son passed his driver's test on the first try, making only one mistake that wasn't driving related but because I told him the wrong spot of where the headlights were. Bobby, the instructor, a is a very reasonable man and an exceptional teacher. I would certainly recommend him to others.

Fantastic experience: I wouldn't listen to the people that rated one star (or the Yelp reviews for that matter). Bobby is the best driving instructor ever. He's patient and always attentive to his students. I've never heard him yell or scream at his students. I was at a point of giving up to drive, but Bobby pursued me to keep trying until I passed my DMV test. Bobby genuinely wants his students to pass the driving test. He offers literally everything he's got to get you from not being able to drive to being confident on the road. Bobby has literally heard every question and explains them well. Negative experience: We question his knowledge and qualification as a driving instructor. Some of the instruction she received conflicted with road laws and caused much confusion when taking the driving test. She Received less than 6 hours of instruction and there were times when another student was in the car when he picked her up for her appointment. In addition, we had to go to AAA and pay for two extra hours due to the fact that she needed more instruction in order for her to feel like she felt she was knowledgeable for the drivers test. Negative experience: For starters, the most horrible attitude possible for such a situation. Bob "Bobbie" starts the relationship with a "contract" The contract is obviously written by Bobby and states that his "attorney" will go after you if you speak or post negatively about him. Obviously he has had problems with the truth with past students. It looks like the 5 star reviews on google are written by Bobby. Unfortunately, I didn't read the Yelp reviews first. I would have avoided this guy at all cost. His prices are low for a reason. Bobby speaks with a heavy accent that was hard to understand for my son. The few times I would ask Bobby questions, he would act rushed and put out that I asked. He would tell me that his answering questions is taking time away from the lesson. Overall a very frustrating experience!

Fantastic experience: Before I took a lesson with Bob I thought I was a good driver, however after my first lesson with Bob I quickly learned many new tips, rules, and tricks that I hadn't known before. But after a few lessons, I improved my skills so quickly. He used some simple and easy methods to highlight the key points, which was especially helpful. He also made me feel not so nervous when I was still not very confident about my driving. Before my test, he helped me go through the details on his notes in minutes, most of them preventing me from making mistakes later. It was a very intensive, efficient, yet relaxing experience of learning to drive. He's a great man, and he's not intimidating, it's okay if you make mistakes because Bob will help you master those mistakes. Negative experience: PLEASE READ THE YELP REVIEWS!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, go to this guy. I wish I'd read the Yelp reviews instead of the Google ones, which are all suspiciously good, because EVERY review on Yelp is bad. He is very rude, kept on interrupting, and overall has terrible customer service skills. He kept on talking about other customers with parents who were doctors and judges, as if he was trying to impress us. The only thing it showed us was how even smart people can make mistakes. He talked on the phone during the lesson, even when I had questions and has a ridiculous 3-month wait to finish the lessons and called it "the law", when a reasonable time to finish the lessons is one month. When we waited more than 3 months to call him for the second appointment, the "contract was invalid" and we had to wait a month to get a new one. During this meeting, his rudeness and harassment was too much and we fired him. I only wish we hadn't given him half the money up front

He knows the roads and the rules very well. I gained a lot of confidence by my 3rd class itself. His prices are very affordable and the best in the area. He offers at home pickup and drop too.. He prepared me for the dmv test with great skill and dedication . He was willing to work around my schedule which was a huge thing for me .He also gave a dmv style test on my last class... My expectation for a driving instructor is that they do their job well, teach the kids safety and proper driving, and prepare them for the test. Bobby did all of these things. We did have to cancel on him for one of our appointments and he waived the re-schedule fee that is stated in the contract which we appreciated. Bobby was always available when we called and very good about setting up appointments. He was always on time. The best compliment I can give actually comes from the DMV drive test employees. While my wife was waiting at the car with my son and some of the DMV employees they asked who his driving instructor was. When she said it was Bobby at Life Safety Driving School they literally said, "he will have no problem with the test, all of his students are always prepared and always pass". We appreciate Bobby and his work, we have talked with plenty others who feel the same, and we have referred him to others who have never been disappointed. He's also the least expensive we have found in town.

Fantastic experience: It was great instructor, he teached me the exact things and the proper things on how to pass the drive test but most importantly how to drive safely. I would definitely recommend this school to future drivers.

And "Bobby" please don't call me a billion times threatening me after you see that I wrote this review. He is the worst instructor ever! He's on his phone the whole time and he was late to ever single one of our lesson!

Fantastic experience: Bob is an excellent driving instructor. He is always well dressed, and takes his job very seriously. He is patient and understanding of all of his students. I was born with ABS, so I only have one full hand and he always made me feel comfortable and helped me to do different things while driving the car to fit my needs. He took me all around town and made sure I was comfortable with driving in the area. He also took me through busy areas and had me change lanes, go to four way stops, back up straight, and do all of the other things necessary for the driving test. The only thing I might change is if he could make the handouts he let us read neater and easier to comprehend. They had very important information, but they were a little bit old and hard to read. BUT...I passed my test first try with only two points off, so there's not much I can complain about!! Excellent teacher! :)

The instructor Bobby was extremely professional, informational, patient and knowledgeable, he is a amazing teacher! My daughter was nervous to get behind the wheel and Bobby worked with her and calmed her nerves allowing her to concentrate and learn the rules of the road. He was flexible with our schedule, dependable and reliable. My daughter passed her drivers test on the first try and feels confident behind the wheel thanks to Bobby. Life Safety Driving School was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them to family and friends and look forward to working with Bobby again when it's time for my Son to drive. Fantastic experience: I took driving lessons at Life Safety Driving school and I can confidently say it is the best driving school you can find in the area (I live in Moorpark CA, Life Safety Driving School is based in Newbury Park). The driving instructor Bob was very careful about making sure not only I was prepared for my test, but made sure I was a good driver in general, he was on time, very friendly and always very professional. On one occasion I had an appointment with Bob, and when he showed up (on time as usual) I couldn't find my Permit and I was sick so we had to cancel the appointment, Bob was very gracious about the whole event and he was even nice enough to not charge us the usual fee that we would've usually had to pay. I recently took my drivers test and passed first try due to Bob's great teaching. Life Safety Driving School is not only what I consider the best driving school to get you ready for the road but it is also considerably cheap compared to other Driving schools in the area. So in closing, I was very pleased with my experience at Life Safety Driving School and would highly recommend it.
