We’ve gone through the entire process from the TIP card to the full license and Bayou Driving Academy helped walk us through the entire process every step of the way.

As a mother you want to protect your child to make sure they are being taught right especially how to drive cause if it isn't done right you can kill someone and or your self. I was searching for a place where I didn't feel like my son was just given his permit just to get the money .. And I found it and made the right decision with bayou driving academy. They were patient and willing to right my son wrongs and teach him the right way to drive .. Mr Joe was his driving instructor and owner of bayou driving academy and I want to thank you for making sure my son was taught right and safe doing so .. I give bayou driving academy a 5 star rating .. Not to mention they also do payment plans which is also a plus ♥️

Negative experience: I paid $100.00 to receive the services of this company and they did not give me the classes. I personally would not take classes with them nor would I recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I attended classes here last summer and just realized that I never left a review. Bayou is a very welcoming environment. Kahoots and note packets for each section helped me to pass my written test and they kept me engaged throughout the course. Joe was very nice during my driving lessons and was very understanding of the fact that I had very little experience behind the wheel. If you are new to driving and are anxious about it, this is a great place to learn. I left feeling much more confident and ready to practice for my license. I have friends who attended a different driving school in LaPlace who had awful experiences and wished that they had chosen Bayou. Bayou is #1!!!

He boosted his confidence which made him work smarter which made him not as nervous and he did better. Appreciate you working with my son! Negative experience: Literally watched this guy in his white Nissan and Company sticker cut off multiple cars on the spillway. He didn't just do it once. He did it repeatedly. I can't imagine how awful this place must be if this is how their instructors drive. Ignored multiple basic rules of driving and endangered a plethora of vehicles on the road. This is not a good place to take your children to learn how to drive. This guy is going to end up hurting himself or someone else with his Reckless driving. I'm honestly surprised that he was stupid enough to drive that way with his company logo on the side of the vehicle. Absolutely horrendous and dangerous.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Bayou Driving Academy. I had 3 teens enrolled for there weekend class and they worked with me to accomodate the schedules of all 3 of my boys. 1 of them had to miss a day of class and they allowed him to make up his missed day during the next scheduled class. They worked extra hard with my 15 year lod to ensure that he would be prepared for the driving portion of the class. We live about 30 minutes from the driving school and they worked with me to either drop off or pick up my student or the driving portion of the class so I didn't have to make that drive twice in 4 hours. I am very pleased with our experience and would use them again and refer my friends and family as well.

He makes good jokes to make you feel relaxed. She is so comfortable driving, that once they made a stop, she sent me a text to inform me on how well she was doing and did not know why she was so nervous. My daughter shared how funny, kind and a good listener he is. He will not only teach you to pass your driving test but to be a good safe driver.

You will not be bored and you will learn a lot of information while having fun in a very respectful environment. The driving portion may seem intimidating, but rest assured Mr. Joe will make you forget about all that. I am glad I did not go to Nola driving and went here instead to get my license. I had a great time with Mr. Joe I will never forget.
