Fantastic experience: I am having anxiety/ panic issues while driving. Even though I bought my car three years ago, I didn't try to get my driving license because of my panic issue. In the last three years, I joined different training classes and faced various difficulties because none of the trainers didn't understand my fear while driving and guided/ trained me accordingly. Also come-across many bad experiences like training in a group, less dedicated driving time, and scolding/ yelling for small mistakes, which makes me more nervous/panicky while driving. Also, I tried other options like, driving classes in India, with friends, with family members, but nothing helped me as expected. After going through a lot of reviews finally joined Sunrise Driving School. Harry trained for most of my sessions and Jack for some sessions. Harry identified my anxiety/ panic issues immediately and started training me accordingly. With Harry's training and closer guidance, my nervousness and fear reduced gradually. With Harry/Jack's training methods and safe driving tips, I started getting confidence slowly when driving. Harry trained me to practice all day-to-day real-life driving situations and guided me to handle them safely. Yesterday I cleared my road test on my FIRST attempt and got my license. Because of the solid training provided by Harry & Jack, I didn't feel like in the road test with the DMV examiner and didn't come across any nervousness/fear during the road test. If you are new to driving or have anxiety while driving, I strongly recommend Sunrise Driving School as the training place you should join without any second thoughts. Fantastic experience: Signed up for 9 hours of lessons and got my license with 1 lesson left! I had hit a wall with prior driving schools, including one where instructors spent more time on their cell phones than identifying my weaknesses and helping me improve as an unlicensed adult. Mr. Jack knew exactly what to do to improve my schools and get me road test ready quickly. The snow/ice driving lessons was one of my favorite parts in addition to highway training for anxious drivers. Highly recommend!

This company is top notch, great service, reliable, and trustworthy. They were kind enough to take my daughter on and finish up her in car lessons when the other company was a total failure. I can't thank the owner enough. I am thrilled to know where I will be sending my younger son 2 years from now for his driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Sunrise driving school was amazing. when I was 17 I took behind the wheel with another driving school and by the time I finish their program I was no better from where I started.. flash forward to when I was 19 i was still in search of a driving school that would take adults and would fulfill all my needs ... i then found sunrise driving school, I took the 25 hour option in the 18 to 20 year old program. My instructor was Harry. he was very flexible with the hours that I could go.. he made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel and gave me a lot of tips and tricks on how to improve my driving. He was very patient and didn't yell when I made a mistake. He made sure I was confident in making safe lane changes which I never properly learned at the other driving school i went to . He made sure I was extremely prepared for the road test. when I took the road test I passed first try.. I want to thank Harry and Sunrise driving school for helping me be able to get my license!

Fantastic experience: I had a good experience taking 10 classes with sunrise driving school in past couple of months. Mr.Jack is my instructor. He’s very professional, patient, always on time and flexible scheduling the appointments. He’s great at teaching little tricks with parking, turnings and lane changing. Being a first time driver, it really helped me drive with more confidence. The instructions and sample videos he sent me helped alot to practice on turns and parking. Fantastic experience: This review comes a little too late, but better late than never. I did my driving lessons with Harry during fall of 2018. This review is solely for the quality of the driving skills taught. I was a person with intense anxiety behind the wheels and could never learn driving despite having gone to 3 other tutors. But the method Harry followed made me learn it, finally, and to get the license in the first try. They don’t over charge you either. Harry even forgot to cash my check for a few months, I didn’t realize it either, until one day he texted me saying he is going to do it at that later date. I am mentioning this to make the point that he is not in this just for the money! Thank you Harry!

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed the training they gave me. Careful and detailed. I had a chance to compare with another service where the trainer does not give much training and just try to wrap up quickly even though I explained that I do not have much experience. Sunrise have the training planned out strategically and focus on fixing old or bad driving habits. I also appreciare their advice on defensive driving practice. The pre-test is 99% close to the actual road test and I passed with only one attempt. Tks to the team.

Fantastic experience: Due to extended DMV closures owing to Covid I needed to pass the road test within a very short time. Despite being a reluctant driver in India and also having driven in the US on work related trips I was worried about getting it right for the exam. Learning from Mr Jack was the best thing. After the very first lesson with him I felt a new confidence and in control of the roads. With their long years of experience the instructors at Sunrise have a very keen eye for mistakes rookie drivers make, helping them overcome it effectively and swiftly. Mr Jack also knew the requirements of the actual road test so comprehensively that there wasn't a single surprise; everything had been previously encountered and practised to competent levels. I'm very grateful to Sunrise and am fortunate they were in my neighborhood. Although initally apprehensive about how the 1 - 1.5 hr lessons would progress, they were extremely relaxed. Mr Jack is so good humored and genial that the conversations over the duration of the lessons were very enjoyable. Thanks a lot, Sunrise. Your high rating is well deserved!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Jack and Mr. Herry from Sunrise Driving School are very professional and punctual in their profession. I’m an experienced driver in India (~10 years) with left side drive and wanted to learn US driving rules and hands on training. I must say Sunrise Driving School taught me so well that I got my DL in the very first attempt. Mr. Jack explained every question of mine in much detail and he practiced me a lot without being tired. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of getting instructed by both instructors, taking one lesson with Mr. Harry, and the rest with Mr. Jack. Mr. Jack gave me clear instructions, was very patient with me, and gave me a lot of great safety tips. Mr. Harry was also very knowledgeable too. My overall experience was positive and with a short amount of time and a lot of practice, I was able to pass the test and get my license! I highly recommend their school to beginners AND anyone just wanting to take a refresher lesson. They gave me the confidence and skills I need on the road. Thank you guys very much! I do have one minor suggestion/feedback about the cars. Although they were safe and did the job well, they could use an upgrade. Otherwise everything was great!

Fantastic experience: I had one week's time to learn and give test by weekend, on Saturday. Harry was super accommodative to schedule sessions in the week and also offered season discount that was going on. And I cleared the test! I am so grateful to Jack, he was my trainer. He is the best trainer one could ask for. He showed a lot of safety and control techniques, steering, highway practice, different ways to park, changing lanes and smooth maneuvers. Fantastic experience: Harry is a great instructor. He is detail oriented, gives constructive criticism (in a good way!), and teaches methods thoroughly to improve driving skills. He truly wants to help, so do not hesitate to ask many questions! I had a lesson at least once week, not necessarily every 7 days, and they were long enough to practice multiple things such as parking, reverse driving, etc. Highly recommend Harry and his business It is precise, swift and straight to the point.

I am a very anxious person that even picking a driving school was a tough call. I did my research and called a couple of schools but a lot of them never responded to my emails or was just lazy to answer my questions over the phone. When i read the reviews about Sunrise Driving School, i was impressed & upon reaching out, Harry answered all my questions. Price is great! Jack was my driving instructor & HE WAS SO AWESOME! He was patient & pushed me to be confident with driving. Very respectable and reliable. So easy to work with. I work during office hours and i never had a problem scheduling night time driving with him. We had great conversations too that helped ease my driving anxiety. I just passed my road test. Fantastic experience: As a student who did not take Driver’s Ed in high school, I was hoping to get my license this summer before I started college. I took lessons with another driving school, but I didn’t pass the test on my first attempt. With only a week left before I had to leave for college, I didn’t think it would be possible for me to improve my skills and attempt the test again. I took a few lessons with Mr. Jack and I found them to be well-structured and well-paced. I got a lot of practice driving on various routes and the practical tips that he gave me helped me reduce my anxiety and improve my driving. Mr. Jack was very attentive and encouraging, and I felt much more comfortable behind the wheel after just a week. And I got my license! Sunrise Driving School was incredibly supportive, reasonably priced, and very professional. Thank you, Sunrise!

Negative experience: The classroom time is fine, but trying to get behind the wheel time scheduled for my son has been a nightmare. You go onto the website and it either states they won't be taking requests for 2-3 weeks due to high volumes of requests, or it will be 2 weeks before they can get you schedules. My son had 3 behind the wheels to complete in June and it is now September and he still is not complete. Only getting 1 behind the wheel every 4-6 weeks is crazy.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for the Class Option: 7 (Adult Driving Programs) with the Sunrise Driving School in July last year. Harry was my driving instructor and let me tell you, you can not go wrong learning how to drive with him. He is a chivalrous man, a great tutor with a good sense of humour. In addition, he is a great conversationalist who will make every one of your lessons very enjoyable, and always arrive timely before each one of your lessons. He lets you get comfortable with steering, acceleration, and braking, and then transition to reverse, parking, lane switch, stop sign recognition (2-way, 3-way, 4-way/all-way), freeway driving, and also parallel parking(!!!!!). I was amazed that parallel parking was so easy when I follow his procedure. It all really helped to build my confidence on the road. Thanks Harry! :)

Fantastic experience: Mr. Jack was a fabulous instructor for me. I have been driving for over 14 years (in India - left-side driving), and his tips and instructions really helped in ironing out whatever issues I had with my driving. Most of all, it helped me in building confidence. He showed great patience and masterful knowledge. He was a wonderful company in the car, always cheerful and entertaining. Best of all, he even took time out of his busy schedule to take me to the drive test!

Fantastic experience: Mr Jack was a great instructor. I had little to no experience in driving, and Mr Jack was very good at helping me acquire the most basic skills. Also, Sunrise Driving school was very accommodating of my schedule; I could only do evening classes because of my full-time job, but I had no problem at scheduling with Sunrise for the late evenings. If you are starting from zero, I’d recommend buying the 10-hour package. The prices are fair. Overall, I totally recommend Sunrise!

Negative experience: Finding a driving school with an opening that worked with my work schedule was tough, but I was super excited when I found out that Sunrise had an open spot! Big mistake. While I was able to learn to drive well enough to get my license (the only reason I gave it 2 stars), they were anything but professional. I had Mr. Jack as my instructor. I signed up for 8 lessons. I had no previous driving experience before starting the lessons. He was constantly late to lessons, even forgetting that we had a lesson at one point. And one of the times he was early because he got the time of our lesson wrong (despite it being at the same time every other time). He also had brought an observer once without asking first, despite the fact that I was paying for a private lesson. He was constantly texting and taking calls (not always work related even) instead of paying attention to my driving. He also made inappropriate comments, such as how I should dress up as Harley Quinn for Halloween and that he'd "throw himself out of the car if I didn't get the turn right". Overall, I learned to drive. But I dreaded my lessons each week. EDIT: The reaching out that this school claims to have done was texting me asking what they could do to get me to take down my negative review on another review site

Negative experience: I had a very disturbing and traumatizing experience with Harry. I found him to be rude, disrespectful and prejudiced in several ways. A bulk of his adult students are immigrants and he never missed an opportunity to remind me of the same or take jibes about it. He thought that I had arrived to the country yesterday, which is really not the case. He reminded me how this is not the America he grew up in. During one of the most uncomfortable driving lessons with him, he imposed his views on all the possible controversial subjects on me without my consent. These included not just his political and religious views but also his thoughts on what the role of women should be in the society and in a household i.e. a woman must take a backseat and be inferior to a man. I felt completely bullied, harassed and wanted my driving lesson to be just over with. I was worried the whole time what he would say or do next. I felt unsafe. He had very negative ideas about my culture, religion and generalized his pre-conceived notions. This was truly a traumatizing experience for me. I would never recommend this driving school/Harry to anyone. Avoid at all costs. Zero stars to him and his driving school.

Jack, the behind the wheel instructor was very good. He provided feedback and made sure my daughter was well prepared to take the driving test in order to get her license. Jack was very flexible when scheduling her behind the wheel lessons. We felt Jack cared a lot about his students becoming safe and knowledgeable drivers.

Fantastic experience: I was a new car driver when i joined Sunrise driving school and Harry was my instructor. He is very excellent, patient, flexible, high knowledged, and well experienced who taught me from handling the steering wheel till defensive driving in high traffic. The classes also helped me to make right decisions at the right time while driving which is extremely important. All these led me to get the driving license easily. Fantastic experience: This is the best place to learn driving. My instructor Mr. David was really nice and very patient. I took package to have car for driving test but unfortunately the day I booked the car was nit available. Mr. David then let me use his own personal car for driving test.
