Negative experience: This place is so unprofessional, you have to actually fight to get what you paid from, when you call they don’t answer, I have been waiting for almost 5 months to get my date for driving test date.

Fantastic experience: Hello to anyone reading this review. I just wanted to say that this school is literally the reason I passed. My driving instructor, Andre is a 11/10 driving teacher. He is very patient and calm. Any mistakes or bad habits that you do exhibit during practice, he will point them out and try to get you to break them. Anyway, if you are looking to take classes here, I would recommend that you do. Have a good day.

Negative experience: this is the worst driving school. The instructors are either not on time or don’t show up at all. I had 3 lessons starting up and of those 3 lessons, 2 were rescheduled. It might be cheaper but it’s truly not worth it.

Negative experience: Only drivers are good the reception is very bad they don’t pick up the phone and don’t know how to negotiate schedules.

Fantastic experience: I don't normally leave reviews, but this school is amazing, and the reviews helped me pick it. This is one of the only driving schools I saw that offered 20 lesson packages at a reasonable price with 45 minutes per lesson. They were very accommodating with rescheduling lessons if need be. From the very 1st lesson, I felt comfortable behind the wheel and not scared. My instructor was Tony, and he was amazing. He let me know when I made a mistake and how to correct it. I like that I had 1 instructor and it wasn't constantly changing depending on the time of my lesson. The 5 hour course was very helpful and informative. I passed my road test becuz of them. I would recommend them to anyone, especially those who are starting out new or have failed the road test before.

Negative experience: I heard lots of great things about this school. Unfortunately for me I've experienced little to no good. The only thing I can praise this school for, is it's instructor and it's 5-Hr Class teacher. Aside from that the school is a complete scam. I attended the classes with a guarantee I would have my road test scheduled before July 2022. 2 weeks before I was told they had no available dates for July 2022 and I had to find one myself. (There were dates). I also have had a lesson where they did not contact me while I waited almost an hour in front of the school. Save your $, go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Jerome Auto Driving School was more than adequate. They are much cheaper than other schools, and that has to account for something. I came to Jerome to get in as much practice as possible before my test. Since I already had the appointment I booked about 12 lessons in one go. Angie, the owner, was very understanding and helpful. I was paired with Andriano, an older gentleman who worked as a cab driver. Yes, he was 10-15 minutes late most of the sessions, but be always gave me a full 45 minute lesson. Once he knew I was ready he took me out further into the Bronx to practice and I couldn’t have been more grateful and why I give them 5 stars. I felt he was teaching me not just how to pass the road test, but how to be an actual driver in NYC. All in all, Come in with a plan and the days you want your lessons. Don’t cancel classes. They book up quickly.

Positive experience: I had an instructor named Antonio he was late because he was the only English speaking driver and he was back up which I didn’t like because if I paid for a class I expect it to start at the time we agreed on but when he was late he made up the time . While driving Antonio would tell me what I did wrong and would make me do it over and over till I got it right because he wanted me to pass my road test. Which I did and I’m happy if you going to come to this school ask for Antonio .

Negative experience: I went to this school almost a year ago I purchased 6 classes the classes were not 45min as stated they were only like 15 mins long and the instructor was patient and laid back but maybe to much because he didnt even let me use the gas we just rolled around so when I took my test I was driving way too slow this school is a scam they con u out your money if u dont buy the more expensive package they dont teach you everything you need to know in order to pass just so u can spend more money to take more classes I do not recommend this school waste of time and money I did not pass my driving test definitely going with a different school

Negative experience: Súper irresponsable, ponen una hora para citas y las personas llegan y esta cerrado, mi esposo el dia del cita del examen duro casi dos horas afuera esperando y nadie llegaba, llegaron tardisimo al lugar del examen y con unos carros vueltos cacharras que por poco no los aceptaban para la prueba, ahora yo temgo que cojer clases y ni loca iría a este lugar

Positive experience: I have had prior driving experience outside of the city but I still decided to buy at least 8 lessons. I would say that my instructor Jose made the classes worth it. He’s very relaxed and immediately eases the nerves of driving in a crowded Bronx area. I also had 1 lesson with another guy for my last class and he was more of a strict by the book instructor (I think named tristan) so it was good to have different opinions. I had no prior experience knowing how to do the 3 point turn and parallel parking but Jose made it an easy step by step process that allowed me to easily understand and replicate countless times. I rate it a 4 for just the driving lessons. The only issues I had was the lack of communication and how last minute some stuff are. The two instructors I had were Spanish speakers and spoke very small English (so if you don’t speak Spanish well, do let this know to the owner so she can put you with an instructor that speaks fluent English). I would’ve preferred if Jose was an English speaker but his pointers and suggestions are very specific and simple that I still benefited from his instruction.

Negative experience: I’ve called 10x and no one answers They constantly reschedule your appointments and totally ignore the phones. Save your money!!!

Fantastic experience: I went here looking for the instructor Andres he wasn't there anymore but the owner didn't tell me he is at a other driving school I took one class didn't like the instructor I got my money back and went to another school Dr driving and quess who was my instructor mr Andres I couldn't believe it I was so happy thank god I made the choice to change I found my instructor.

Negative experience: Several occasion when I was suppose be given driving lessons on dates I was set for were canceled and or rescheduled. The owner and their driver are very unprofessional they’ll make an excuse for anything then tell u to reschedule. I never received an actual lesson with one of their drivers because of this issue. They don’t call to notify about changes and they don’t let you know if they’re open or not, they don’t even open according what they say or show on their site. Highly do not recommend. Avoid this place. They will have you jump through hoops to get your lessons in (even thought they set the dates according to their available drivers.)

Negative experience: I'm gonna be honest. Now that I passed my road test with another driving school. The instructors were really not that good, bad confusion which days class were taken, car breaking down (reschedule this and that), driving instructor sometimes did not get on time or simply did not come at all (again more rescheduling). Did not inform when the school was closed or open when I called the phone machine would answer closed even though it was open. I give it 1 star but would give 2 star only because of the 5 hour class was good and the instructor teaching it was good (but im still giving it a 1 due to everything bad outweighing it). Everything else not good. One of the last classes I recieved was awful and was some random person. This deserves 1 star but like I said the 5 hour class was really good. Everything is just not as good. And Driving instructors (all of them) left out important SPECIFIC details of the Road/Driving that you need to pass. Honestly its no good. Im Sorry

Negative experience: I bought a $400 package in November, expecting my lessons soon since my schedule will be extremely busy this January. I called multiple times to schedule my lessons, each time they made me call the next week. When I went to get my refund they keep 10% even if they never provided service please be cautious this place is very unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I write this review as newly registered driving license holder, thank to Andres! I learned how to drive with the best teacher ever. He is very patient, kind encouraging and calming, everything a first time driver could ask for in a teacher. I did not pass the first time I took my test, nothing to do with the school, mainly because of how nervous I was. Andres was there to encourage me to take the test three days later and I passed!! Could not be more great full.

Fantastic experience: Not much to say except for the fact that the staff who work there are amazing. Andres, the driving instructor, is incredibly good at teaching and he's helped many people including some of my friends to obtain their driver's license. He's very thoughtful and genuinely a nice guy, so if anyone's trying to find a school where to learn how to drive then look no further because you've just found your solution.

Fantastic experience: This is a great school especially for new drivers. I bought the package of 8 classes, with the test and 5 hour class included. First the instructor Andres. Amazing person when it comes to teaching. He is very patient and will speak with you to make you more calm. Not to mention throw in some tips for anything you are having issues with. The 5 hour class was very informative and they do encourage for questions so you can be properly informed.

Fantastic experience: Having no experience prior, I signed for 12 lessons and passed the driving test on my first try. This was all thanks to my highly informed and skilled instructor, Andres. His dedication to his students' success was obvious from day 1 to day 12. Fantastic experience: Me and my husband decided to use this school to learn how to drive. We had never driven a car before. Andres was my husband’ s professor and he is still mine but my story is lack of time and a small hand injure not related to driving. LOL. My husband did great on his test he did so good that got barely 5 points deduction on his test. Andres takes his time to teach you and it is very professional. He always call you to remind you of your class and talks to you is a way which it is easy to understand. I recommend this school and Andres. He would prepare you to pass the test. The prices are reasonable too. Angie takes care of you and helps you schedule your class in a time that is convenient to you. Overall I am very satisfied with the results. As per my class I will go back to take them since my hand is better. I am pretty sure I will pass the test as quickly as my husband. Yay.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing school. It has reasonable packages and everyone there is very helpful and friendly. When I first came in to the school I was very nervous to drive. But for my luck I meet Andres my instructor. He is a very pleasant person to be around. He is sweet, calm and supportive. He also gave me a lot of tips on how to drive safe and pass my road test. Fantastic experience: I passed my exam 10 years ago, after that I never drove again. Since I had a baby boy and needed to drive I went to Jerome driving school to get some road practice and Angelina suggested me to take 4 classes. My designated instructor was Andres! I never had such a patience, charismatic, wonderful and so nice instructor, he gave me the confidence to take a car again! I was really scare but he made sure I understood that there was no need and with his patience he could bring back my confidence. Lastly, At this school everyone is very nice! Fantastic experience: Amazing School ! Everybody working there is very kind and helpful. They work with your schedule and make sure you get your classes done when its best for you and according to your road test date. My instructor was Andres and i highly recommend asking for him when you sign up . He is very informative and makes sure you are in the right path to passing. I passed on my first try and on the way to the test he motivates you and gives you last min tips.

Fantastic experience: This school is honestly the best! I was the type of person that was very scared about driving but my teacher andres helped me get away from my fear. He made me do things I never knew I was going to do, when it came to the road test I was so confident that I was going to pass just because of him and the work that he taught me. Fantastic experience: This is a great driving school, My instructor Andres was a good teacher that made sure i was 100% prepared .He was patient and great at explaining and giving details on how to drive and gave great techniques on how to park , etc and that’s why i passed my road test on my first try. I highly recommend taking classes and your road test with this driving school and i highly recommend the learning Instructor Andres! The 5-hour class wasn’t bad because i actually learned a few things , it was actually interesting. Everyone who works there is nice and genuine .

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with the most patient and caring instructor ever, Mr. Andres, he makes sure you are 100% ready for the driving test before you attemp to take it. Their 5 hr class it's an actual class where you learn things, not a movie. The whole process is explained to you in details, there is no way you will not pass the driving test. Bottom line is, if you want to learn how to drive with an amazing instructor, Mr. Andres at Jerome Auto Driving School is the man to go to!!!

Fantastic experience: Let me just start off saying that I had quite a rough history with cars. On my first attempt of driving a car I was involved in a car crash. I didn’t think I would be able to gather the strength to drive again but this school made it so much easier for me! The staff are great and caring. They greet you every time you come in and always accommodate your needs. The five hour class was especially helpful because Peter, the one who was speaking in the class, gave very helpful tips on how to pass the road test. He is very knowledgeable and he tells you everything straightforward. As for the driving instructors, I had Andres as my instructor. Ask for him when you go!!! He helps you to drive step by step and if you’re stuck, he gives you advice and then helps you continue. He is caring, knowledgeable just like Peter, and overall wants nothing but good for you. It was always a good time with him. On the day of the road test, I passed on my first attempt and only got 10 points. This school will help you pass and will also make it a good time. I recommend you get about 10 classes and then if needed more, the instructors will let you know!!
