Fantastic experience: I had an amazing expecting with James! He is phenomenal and relax all my anxieties I recommend him 100% to anyone who has any interest in a driving school instructor, I felt very comfortable and I’m thankful

Fantastic experience: i had Mr.James as my instructor to get my license and i couldn’t of asked for a better or more easy going instructor, He made the whole experience very easygoing and memorable to say the least for me and the others with me in the car as well !! When it was time for my son to take this class in order to get his license Amy explained everything and walked me through the process of getting paperwork sent and dates set up which made things super easy and didn’t take much time at all. Then BJ instructed my son with patients and wisdom in which I saw tremendous results. I cannot be more happy with the entire experience from beginning to end! Will definitely use this company again. Negative experience: I would never send my child to this company. One of your vehicles almost hit me weaving in and out of the lane, 20mph over the speed limit. You need to do your freaking job and instruct, in a situation like that you need to take the wheel from the student, your a danger to the public. I hope you guys get absolutely sued, because if you would have hit my vehicle I would have sued you into the ground. Unbelievable threat to the public.

Fantastic experience: Amy is very professional and builds a good rapport with young drivers. My daughter took lessons and did behind the wheel with Amy. Amy is the top notch.

Negative experience: A Plus is, to me, an A Minus. I called to schedule some appointments. Everything went fine until I said I couldn't schedule an appointment on Saturday, which is my Sabbath. The staff member I spoke to became hostile, showed disrespect for my faith, and eventually hung up on me. When I was able to speak with a different person, he also indicated that they would not honor my request to not train on my Sabbath. This was a frustrating experience and very unsettling. I will NEVER call them again!

This class was incredibly informative and I learned so much that I did not know about to become a much safer driver in the state of Virginia. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience with instructor Hardeep, who simply put, went above and beyond! My daughter gained the knowledge, experience and confidence she needed for me to feel 100% comfortable with her driving on her own after taking his Behind the Wheel course. Hardeep provided individualized instruction and always took extra time to ensure the students were able to get the training they needed. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about the students and making sure they were equipped with the tools they needed to be excellent drivers. I am very satisified and highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Good. According to my 16 year old son, "the instructor, Hardeep , was calm, cool and collected . He took the time to teach us more advanced skills like ; parallel parking , backing into parking spaces, and made sure he focused on working with things we weren't confident with. " Very kind.

Negative experience: If you’re deciding between this and another place, let this be your warning. Paid for behind the wheel for my child. Was not given any where close to the amount of hours “contracted” for and required by law, both in driving and observing. Upon contacting the instructor and questioning her about this, she said our child had done great, but if we wanted more time, then she’d make a “special” trip to pick up my child alone to drive a couple more hours. I simply wanted what we paid for and told her I expected what was agreed upon, as well as driving instruction. She gave the paperwork to all 3 parents in my child’s group to sign on day 5, although contract was for 7 days and every single day, my child was home way earlier than what was quoted. Called the office to inform them of this and was offered no refund or additional driving/observation time, and this particular instructor is still working there. Used Pick Osso Driving School previously and should have gone there, can’t say enough good things about them! They’re professional and gave driving/observation time as promised. Instruction at A Plus was mediocre at best, thankfully we had done extensive driving practice prior with our child. Not sure how this has not been reported and/or investigated already. You get what you pay for, buyer beware!

Fantastic experience: I had Instructor Melanie for my private lessons and she was wonderful! She was very caring and helped me get very comfortable with driving in the four lessons I had with her. She was attentive and was right on top of things which made me feel secure and confident behind the wheel. Thank you, Melanie!

Negative experience: I was planning to use their service, but the lady up front was very rude and had an attitude every time I wanted to ask a question. She even insulted my son by calling him irresponsible because he's a teenager. Her exact words, "Teenagers are irresponsible." Maybe? But I found that rude and disrespectful because I happen to know a lot of very respectful and responsible teenagers. The vibe and energy was off and I later found out she lied straight to my Mama's face and myself. I found another service to use and I'd recommend anyone else do the same, especially if you come from a diverse family.

Negative experience: This man was trying to get to Wawa gas station in wrong way at 117 Garrisonville Stafford 22554 where the Truist bank is. He got mad and did the middle finger sign for not reason in front of my family with 2 little kids 8yo and 6yo. He told my husband to get out of the car to fight and called me names, I told him that I was going to call the phone number that is there in the car he was driving. This is just happened. What kind of people you employ? This man needs to go to anger management classes immediately. I believed he was going to punch in my face because he walked to our van, I felt afraid for my children and my family.

Fantastic experience: James was the best Behind The Wheel Instructor for my teenage daughter! He was friendly, fun, and courteous. He put my daughter and the other students right at ease and made every session enjoyable! It made me feel reassured as a parent that my daughter's safety came first, and James also created a positive atmosphere for the training. My daughter had only positive things to say about her experience from start to finish, when she got her license! Thanks for everything, James!

Fantastic experience: This place was amazing help for me to obtain my driver's license. Scheduling was relatively easy, fees were not incredibly high, and the 7-day program is worth the money. Amy was an INCREDIBLE teacher and helped me out so much, and was a joy to have as a teacher. She was very informative and answered every question I had about the specifics when it comes to getting a license. The only complaint I have is that I won't drive with you guys again! Would highly recommend this place for anyone in FXBG who wants to start driving!

Fantastic experience: This company truly has it figured out. Everyone I spoke to was polite, helpful and informative. Communication was excellent. James was my son’s instructor and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He makes the kids feel comfortable and relaxed. Really lets their confidence shine. Very happy with the entire experience start to finish.

Negative experience: Please beware of this driving school. They will take your money and not fulfill the services you paid for and then call you a liar. I purchased the Adult Behind the Wheel Training and on my 5th day of training, I was told by my instructor that I also needed to take the 30-hr online course so I purchased the course, completed the coursework, and then passed the test. After I passed the test I was informed that my instructor had been fired and that they would schedule the remaining training with another instructor. It's been four weeks and I still have not completed the training because they do not have an instructor for the Adult Behind the Wheel training. I requested a refund and they refused to process a refund. When I spoke with the owner and asked her the reason they could not process the refund if they were unable to provide the services I paid for she became belligerent, called me a liar and did the the ultimate Karen move by threatening to call the police on me. So if you are an adult seeking to obtain your driver's license before the 60-day waiting period please do not go with this company they obviously have bad business practices. Response to owner: My karma trumped your dharma :-). Have a nice life!

Fantastic experience: I can say this is one of the best driving schools in Fredericksburg. I had such a hard time in the beginning but an instructor like Mr. Marcus he will make sure that your successful at the end and won’t let you give up.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this school and if you have luck on your side, you’ll get blessed with having Marcus as an instructor. I attended the CDL class this past April and I must say this school puts their all into training you and making sure you have the right tools in order to succeed. Marcus really broke down every last rule and maneuver in such an understanding way that really aided me to better comprehend the concept. Not only did he help me pass my course and DMV exam (the first time around), he also provided real world experience and information that will be extremely beneficial once I start my new trucking career. He made my time at A Plus a wonderful experience and now I will spread the word to anyone who’s in need of taking driving courses or pursuing their CDL.

Fantastic experience: I recently graduated from the weekend CDL class. The entire staff was supportive and helpful with a special shout out to Marcus who went above and beyond to make sure I was ready to become a professional driver. I can't thank A Plus Driving School enough for all of their help as I move forward with my future. I definitely recommend A Plus Driving School to anyone wanting to obtain their CDL's. They are hands down the best school in the area.

Fantastic experience: I attended the school some years back for a Driver Improvement class, & recently for their CDL training. The ladies are very helpful in assisting w/ whatever I needed & fun to be around @ the same time. The instructors are very knowledgeable & very helpful as well. While having different approaches, I really learned a lot from both Buck & Marcus. They provided a very fun & professional learning environment. Initially, I was totally lost when it comes to 18 wheelers, but I really learned a lot under their supervision. When it was all said & done, I was able to pass my DMV exams on the very 1st try. I’d recommend this school to ANY & EVERYBODY that needs any type of driving, CDL training included. I can’t thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: George the CDL instructor did an excellent job in teaching me how to pass the CDL Pre-trip inspection and DMV field tests. He is very knowledgeable and cares a lot about training future drivers. He is also very good at teaching you and providing real-time feedback on how to handle the truck safely while on the road. George has given me the confidence to step into any truck with my new CDL license!

Despite the amount of extra time, energy and organization that it took for my daughter’s behind the wheel instruction to occur, the professionalism of each staff member remained Intact, and never waivered. Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved taking my lessons here. I had the very best instructor Ron Speegle, he is so patient and understanding. I was extremely nervous and definitely a beginner and in 2 weeks I had my license with his help. Thank you so much !!

Negative experience: The teacher(Stafford county school bus driver) knew the course very well! Here are my issues: 1. She had her very young child with her, no issues with the child but it’s hard to keep children from being bored or hungry for any length of time so she came in multiple times causing class to disruption. 2. The telephone did not stop ringing the entire!! Time!!, it was Saturday forward the calls to voicemail it’s not that hard or turn the ringer off. 3. Her boyfriend/baby daddy stopped in which also caused a stop in the course and caused the teacher to become unsettled if you will. I would not recommend this particular place.

Fantastic experience: I recommended Mr. Pete he is a wonderful driving instructor I took my driving test yesterday and I passed with only one mistake and a score of 97% and it all was because Mr. Peter took the time to show me all the areas to work on and I am so very happy that he was my driving instructor I love A plus driving school what a great company.
