Our driving school offers behind the wheel driver education for teens and adults in Central Virginia. Our driving coaches are experienced and calm. We teach rules of the road and safe driving habits.
DRIVERS ED CLASS
The program consist of 30 hours of classroom instruction, including components of alcohol safety, drug abuse awareness, aggressive driving, distracted driving, pedestrian and bicycle safety, handicapped parking, fuel-efficient driving practices, motorcycle awareness, and organ and tissue donation awareness...
THREE TIME FAILURE CLASS
Our 3-time failure class is for those who failed the DMV knowledge and sign test three times and must take this class to become eligible to retake these test again.

Fantastic experience: BEST DRIVING SCHOOL/BEHIND THE WHEEL COURSE EVER!!! There are so many positive things I could say about AA Club Driving School and the instructor, Jorge Guilbe! He is extremely polite, courteous and knowledgeable and made the entire experience an amazing one from start to finish. I found this course for my 16 year old son, who was in need of Behind the Wheel and was not able to take it through the school. It’s been awhile since I was 16 or had any involvement with driving schools and I am extremely thankful for how easy Mr. Guilbe made this entire process! My son has a firm foundation as well as appreciation for safe driving practices. I could not be happier or more appreciative of Mr. Guilbe for helping to instill that in him. Negative experience: This company took over for a company retiring and would not honor what was told on the day the classes were booked. After multiple emails and phone calls originally, I had to ask MULTIPLE times for a contract. I was told no deposit needed and not to worry about that deposit on the contract, I could pay on the first day of class and a different amount. Then the new supervisor or owner demanded more money and a deposit, then promptly cancelled my son’s behind the wheel two weeks before it was supposed to start. Poor service, poor policy choices, and poor planning on their part. They clearly don’t have a system in place with scheduling or policies! Terrible customer service and terrible management.
Mrs. Zaun "We previously communicated to you that no deposit was required, that is something that is NOT customary, as our Contract states a deposit is required and that it will be applied to the class. But you made such a big deal of the of the fact that you had to make a deposit. However, we observed multiple attempts to change the price of our course, initially from $295 to $285, and later noted as you crossed the price out to $280 in the contract. This inconsistency and attempts to change our price led us to reassess the stability of the arrangement. Consequently, we found it necessary to request a deposit from you. It was explained that the deposit would be credited towards the total payment. We made considerable efforts to accommodate your needs to ensure your son's participation in the behind-the-wheel training." You refused every offer and it was you the canceled this arrangement.

Fantastic experience: 5 STARS! Jorge makes it clear in the beginning of his class that you will leave with actual knowledge that will help you in real life situations in your daily driving. He held true to that because knowledge was definitely gained by his course. He didn't just play videos. He explained each situation in detail so when you leave you know what to do and what not to do. Also, went through many laws that the state has updated or changed and made sure to explain the old and the new updated laws.

Fantastic experience: Where to even begin!! For the longest I’ve been terrified of driving. I got into a bad accident 3 years ago and haven’t drove since. But, Ubers and Lyfts have been TEARING into my pockets for months. So I finally decided to take a driving class. Searched google and this company popped up! So I gave em a call and boy I do not regret my decision. I got comfortable driving in 2 weeks! I feel like a pro now. I can drive alone and I have 0 fears. He is highly recommended. Fantastic experience: If you want to learn REAL driving this is the place for you. I did the behind-the-wheel program with Jorge and he is a phenomenal instructor. Before I did the behind-the-wheel program, I had very minimal driving experience. I was still not familiar with the road and was still pretty nervous. However, with Jorge’s help and guidance I was able to successfully earn my license in two weeks. The best part about the lessons was that we would go to different places to be able to experience as many different roads, scenarios, and situations as possible. We would go to gas stations, big streets, the city, residential areas, highways, school zones, shopping and market areas, parking lots, and so many other various locations. By going to all of these different places, I was able to get more familiar with different roads, adjust to the different speed limits and rules of different locations, and more importantly gain more confidence in my driving. I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone who wants to learn REAL driving. Thank you so much, Jorge!

Negative experience: One of the most unprofessional businesses I have ever worked with. There is no communication from the staff. Hours of operation are posted, but they are not in the office nor do they answer calls. The person who runs the business is very argumentative and has no customer service skills. These previous reviews must be a lie, because this business should not be in business whatsoever.
