Negative experience: If I could give zero i would. Todd Porter was the instructor teaching my sister. She was told not to do head checks because "the car is a hybrid" which has zero merit. Always check your blind spots with a head check even if the car is equipped with blind spot detection. Also seems odd he would say that as most teens aren't going to be driving the latest and greatest and many won't have blind spot detection. The second thing that raised alarms in my head was when he told her to not be at the speed of traffic when getting onto the interstate and to wait until she merged into traffic to speed up. It's a great way to get run off the road and just insane to be teaching to a new driver. I'm not one to leave bad reviews. But driving has lives on the line and this isn't something to be ignored.

Fantastic experience: 5/5 for Mr. Jimmy Chavez! Throughout the driving test, he was always calm and never raised his voice. He could tell I was very nervous and made jokes to try and make me relax. When we learned how to parallel park, I thought it was going to be insanely difficult. However, it only took 2 attempts for me to pick it up! He gives great constructive criticism as well.

Fantastic experience: Cornhusker driving school taught me countless things about driving, both in and out of the classroom. My instructor, Mr. Jimmy Chavez, reinforced existing knowledge and taught through patience and example new, tough, skills that I had no prior experience with. Thanks to him I got these skills down in no time, and I hope more people learn from him. He really helped with making the road easier by talking and giving calm constructive feedback when needed. Very supportive and encouraging, I am glad I had him.

Fantastic experience: This school was very good for me as a student to get comfortable and understand driving. While the learning part was rather dry and repetitive, driving was very easy going and relaxing. My instructor, Mr. Jimmy, was a very great instructor for me as he was calm and easygoing. He had a great personality and we often chatted while I drove. It’s instructors like him that make learning such an important life skill much easier. Would recommend this school and instructor for drivers that are nervous to get on the road.

Fantastic experience: Corn husker driving school is the best!!! Class work with Anna was awesome. She was so sweet and a great teacher, I learned so much helpful information. I had Joe Venditte for my driving portion of teaching, and he was AMAZING. So kind, patient, funny and I learned really good things with him. I looked forward to driving with Joe for my lessons! He is the best driving teacher! 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Mr. Jimmy. Super nice guy, had extreme nervousness in the driveway before we started, Mr. Jimmy made sure to keep me calm and relaxed which helped me get through my driving hours faster than usual.

Fantastic experience: I was a student of the driver instructor mr.jimmy Chavez of the corn husked driving school and up until 28 minutes ago I passed I was already somewhat of an experienced driver but I got to learn more things that would help me better my driving then nothing at all turns out I’m better at doing the hard stuff then I am the easier aside from my new accomplishment I would say from the in class work to actually being behind the wheel I’ve enjoyed every second of it and every second counted because it would lead me to becoming a better driver that was what me and my family planned on. To miss Anna to mr.jimmy chavez to the other students I enjoyed my time with them a lot super affordable you learn a lot in class and while driving and they do not test you until they are 100% sure your capable of passing these are professionals so they would know if your ready I 100% recommend putting your children through a course with them because I thought it was a waste of time waste of my parents money etc I thought I knew got to drive well but I didn’t know how much I could really learn and apply it to real life situations they’ll make sure your kids will be top notch safe drivers I know i am every since I started I always wear my seatbelt even when I’m not driving but yea to sum it up thank your mr jimmy miss Ana and the Cornhusker driving school I appreciate it - JAZIIRA kasiim profound graduate for literally 30 minutes of Cornhusker Driving School. And ps it’s really easy to pass if you literally do as little as listening behaving and practicing and your done Believe me because I PASSED !!!

Fantastic experience: Jen with Cornhusker driving school was a fantastic instructor. She was very patient and thorough with her instruction. My daughter feels more confident in her driving skills. Jen was also a great communicator and provided key areas for our daughter to keep in mind and continue practicing on.

Positive experience: Make no mistake the education aspect was of good quality. Mr. Venditte did a good job explaining and repeating things. However the learning environment was sub par. He was prone to yelling or insulting to get our attention. I understand a big class of teenagers is difficult to contain but resulting to an air horn to awake a student was unprofessional and inconsiderate to people with audio sensory issues/sensitivity or people with PTSD. Just something to consider for future ! !

Negative experience: Had the worst experience with Cornhusker Driving School. The classroom portion was pretty good. But, unlucky for my daughter, she was paired up with Tony as a driving instructor. He was rude, condescending, and just down right awful to her. I spoke to him and he sure had all the right things to say. Before reaching out, I asked for some advice on a CLOSED group for Moms about this situation on how to handle it and if anyone had any experience. I specifically asked NOT to name people by name out of respect. Someone that works there started a group chat between instructors, took a screenshot and decided to figure out who my daughter had as instructor. Tony was offended I reached out to other moms for advice and refused to drive with my daughter. Guess he didn’t like that moms talk to other moms. Then I get a call that no other instructors are available (sure). Full refund - yes. But check out these reviews from the web about Tony. He is the ONLY reason they get bad reviews. Glad I trusted my mama instinct. If you go to them for Driver’s Ed - beware. Wonder how many people never said anything?

Fantastic experience: I was taught by Mrs. Otten and she made it very easy to learn. i didn’t know a whole lot about it to start but she helped me with anything i needed!

Fantastic experience: I was a fresh driver and knew nothing about driving. My driver instructor ( Mrs.Otten ) built me the confidence and knowledge about driving and I could not have done it without her. She taught me all the little details I need to pay attention to on the road and about the car, taught me the correct ways to drive, and so much more that helped me pass my test and be a more confident driver

Fantastic experience: They were amazing! In class was a little rough due to the group of students but there's nothing you can do about that besides deal with it. Although that, I learned a lot from participating, staying in conversation, and listening! My group was very talkative during class so that was quite frustrating, but it was great. Anna was GREAT at covering the important sections, keeping at a good pace, going over what was on quizzes and tests, and using visuals when needed. She was just a great teacher overall. The driving section went GREAT as well! I had Sharee Venditte as my instructor and she was just amazing. I started as someone with zero experience and she taught me in such a great way to where I passed my drivers test the first time and was hardly nervous while I also had hardly any practice at home due to college classes, and nervous parents, haha! It was also so amazing to learn the safe and correct way to drive on the roads with full awareness compared to the way lots of others do today and then becoming comfortable. It's also very comforting in the beginning knowing they have a break on their side, haha! If you're looking for yourself, your child, or your student, they are great and perfect!

Fantastic experience: I learned a lot! I learned the rules of the road and how to drive my car better. All the people here are very nice and helpful. Not only did I learn a lot, I also had fun with my peers!

Fantastic experience: This driving school experience is pretty good. The teachers at this school are decent, kind people. Plus, the demo stuff they do is fun as well. The break times and periods feel reasonable as well. I definitely learned quite a bit from here. The only downside is that sitting in this room feels like sitting in an refrigerator.

Negative experience: Use this company at your own risk. Tony is on a power-trip of some kind. Rude with the kids, provides no teaching only criticism and his only agenda seems to be to make the kids as uncomfortable as possible. Really bizarre.

Negative experience: No set scheduled driving times. Instructors text or tell student to call for next lesson. Other local organization here in Omaha gives you a driving schedule when you register your child. Makes it a lot easier to prepare. Maybe instructors need to communicate with parents versus the teenage student. Daughter has had one lesson in the last 3 months.

Fantastic experience: Anna is the absolute best and one of the all time greats when it comes to driving instruction! she has a great sense of humor and is open to all. She gave us great breaks and taught me everything i need to know about staying safe on the roads! I am SO excited to DRIVE with her and become an expert driver, 100% recommend this program and everything involved. BTW if she offers any coupons for food, grab them for sure... totally worth it. Anyways overall amazing place and you will be guaranteed success after your classes are over. Shoot for the moon when you are here because even if you miss you’ll end among the stars!

Positive experience: The school was enjoying, great environment and a well educated teacher. She helped us understand the importance of looking and driving ahead. I will be coming back in the future to visit as she was funny and entertaining as well as energetic. She enforced the rules of the road which I hope everyone will decide to remember, regarding the 27 checks and other important features.

Fantastic experience: CORNHUSKER Driving School has fun instructors, good demonstrations using good techniques and visual aides... Would Recommend for any teenager learning to drive. They can teach students at any driving ability. I was originally worried it would be boring, however, ended up laughing and smiling all through the class, while learning fun, helpful, and interesting knowledge.

Negative experience: Tried getting registered three separate times for the adult driving classes that they have offered on their website and every time I was told “they weren’t available” why offer something if it isn’t available? I’m disappointed. I was very willing to spend my money on the lessons but will be taking my business else where.

Positive experience: It's been a pretty solid experience. It's valuable in the sense that you learn the lesser known rules of the road as well as the decrease of he cost of insurance when the course is complete. Though I will say that this class is truly one where you'll only get as much out of it as you put in.
